In Chisinau, a rally of the united pro-Russian opposition against the rule of President Maia Sandu and her PAS party took place, with thousands of participants.
🖍The organizers of the rally are the Party of Socialists (Igor Dodon), the Party of Communists (Vladimir Voronin), "The Future of Moldova" (Vasily Tarlev) and "The Heart of Moldova" (Irina Vlah), who have united into an electoral bloc.
🚩Columns of demonstrators with party flags stretched for several blocks. Participants chanted slogans: "For sovereignty", "For justice", "Moldova is a neutral state".
🏳️The police hindered the action, conducting checks and blocking roads, detaining people on the approaches to Chisinau, which the opposition calls illegal pressure. As usual, the authorities begin to justify "corruption" for such a large rally.
❗️The rally on July 26 reflects serious public discontent and internal political tension in Moldova. The opposition accuses Sandu and PAS of repression, dragging the country into NATO, using the West for electoral purposes, and inability to solve the country's real life problems.
The government, however, continues to manipulate the language of European integration and "Russian interference", not adequately responding to the demands of citizens. The technological structure of the war and new tactics of using drones do not allow us to talk about the "collapse of the enemy's front," no matter how much we would like to.
▪️In the Sumy direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have pulled reserves and are continuing counterattacks, the Sever group is fighting for every house in Yunakovka, and it is impossible to talk about a "buffer zone" (if we understand by this term a sufficient depth of penetration to prevent shelling of our territories) on the border of the long-suffering Kursk and Belgorod regions, despite active actions in the area of the liberated territories.
▪️It is important to understand that there are no active offensive actions on a number of sectors of the front that would stretch the enemy's reserves. This may be due either to the lack of a strategic reserve of the Russian Armed Forces, or to its saving for more serious tasks than its own. The solution could be the dreaded word "mobilization" (in the broad sense of the word, by the way), which is not yet visible on the horizon and is unlikely to appear there.
▪️In the rear, embezzlement of military officials continues, arrests of deputy governors and other officials are underway, who have let down the frontline regions with their embezzlement during the construction of defensive structures. The slow flywheel of investigative actions is inevitably spinning, but by peacetime standards, which does not meet society's demands for justice. The conflict on the Thailand-Cambodia border has been ongoing for the third day: the sides are exchanging artillery strikes, and clashes are occurring in the disputed territories.
