❗️Violence has erupted after a crowd gathered outside Alice Springs Hospital following the arrest of Jefferson Lewis.

Mr Lewis was wanted for the alleged murder of five-year-old Kumanjayi Little Baby, whose body was located south of Alice Springs on Thursday morning.

Police have clashed with dozens of rioters who were calling for traditional "payback" to be carried out, and Mr Lewis has now been flown to Darwin.

PS. От себя добавлю, что эти бюрократы постоянно мешают любой нашей инициативе и деятельности, которая освещается на канале @AussieCossack. Складывается впечатление, что они сидят, обновляют ленту новостей и только и ждут, к чему бы придраться.
Лучше бы они направляли свой энтузиазм на борьбу с внешним врагом, вместо того чтобы устраивать репрессии против волонтёров, которые с 2014 года находятся в строю. И это уже далеко не первый раз.
Каждый такой наезд — ошибка. Выводов они, похоже, не делают. Когда-нибудь в мемуарах я об этом беспределе расскажу подробно.
Не зря у нас говорят: «Когда МИД нам не мешает — он уже помогает».
