🇱🇧🇮🇷 NEW SUBSTACK — Beheading the Hydra
By Ibrahim Majed
After Israel’s 2006 war with Hezbollah ended in stalemate, Tel Aviv abandoned the idea of a swift military victory.
Instead, it drew up a long war strategy: fragment Syria, choke Lebanon’s economy, weaponize the refugee crisis, and bleed Hezbollah by a thousand cuts.
Ibrahim examines the blueprint, its execution, and why, nearly 20 years later, the Hydra still lives....
Read it and follow.

🇷🇺⚔️🇺🇦 Russia’s Defense Ministry reports that Kiev is preparing a provocation aimed at derailing the planned Russian–American talks set for August 15.
According to the ministry, in the lead-up to the Alaska summit, Ukrainian forces plan to carry out a strike on a densely populated residential area in Kharkov Region. The attack will then be blamed on Russian forces to create a negative media backdrop.
The Defense Ministry also warned that provocations by Ukrainian forces could take place in other areas under Kiev’s control, not just in the Kharkov Region.

Part 2
Over the past decade, the Empire and its favorite tool have trampled every basic principle of international law: attacks on embassies, assassinations of legitimate political figures, arbitrary condemnations of “enemy regimes,” strikes on nuclear facilities, and violent redrawing of borders.
Now, to emotionally frayed Europeans, comes a “lifeline”: to carry on the bizarre project of double standards — defending “European values” by protecting part of the Ukrainian people.
And so this “moral global elite,” in which even Slovenians now see themselves — as in 1941–45 — in “the circle of the righteous,” resists the realization that the war is nearing its end. Artificial left/right divisions keep them hooked on the Masters’ grand game, eager to play a “key role” again — despite repeated betrayals by the Trump administration that show an unbroken policy line from Biden’s days.
Why Alaska?
The U.S. needs a staged withdrawal and time to rearm Kyiv, building new defensive lines — just as it did under the Minsk Agreements. Former French President Hollande and German Chancellor Merkel have openly admitted this was the plan; no “Russian disinformation” there. Nor is it a secret what Hegseth said at the European Security Council earlier this year. But an oiled propaganda machine, paired with a morally bankrupt and emotionally lobotomized public, is almost impossible to beat.
We can discuss it endlessly in our little bubbles, but the fact remains: most of the Western world swallows the official story whole. Despite daily proof to the contrary, they can’t even imagine, let alone accept, that they are being lied to — because they lie to themselves.
“Russia is bad, China is bad, Iran is bad, Venezuela is bad, Korea is bad, African countries no one can find on a map are bad — all part of the ‘Axis of Evil,’ and that is bad. Therefore every war is justified, because we’re fighting for democracy.”
Imperial aggression and propaganda go hand in hand. One is impossible without the other, and the rest is handled by cognitive dissonance and dark psychology: “We are not immoral or evil — everyone else is.”
And so, on the 80th anniversary of the worst war crimes in history — the U.S. nuclear bombings of civilian populations — we no longer even dare say who did it. We can’t admit how far we’ve strayed to the wrong side of history under our comprador elites.
“We’re not killing Ukrainians — the Russians are.”
“We’re not killing and starving Palestinians — Isr… well, they are dying and starving.” Passively.
Just as passively as we enter war with Russia — a war we are, by our own foreign minister’s admission, already in, and have been for nearly three years.
We will not leave NATO, nor will we be allowed to vote on it — even though most Europeans want out of this genocidal colonial “club” serving America’s military-industrial complex. Josep Borrell’s “garden” is not ours to tend; we are merely the gardeners’ disposable tools.
On Friday in Alaska, the Empire will exercise its “God-given” right to walk away from its own project, washing its hands Pilate-style over the “territorial dispute” between Russia and Ukraine — and hand the bankruptcy proceedings over to its loyal European compradors, through whom it controls not only the public finances of more than half a billion inhabitants of this so-called “garden” of Europe, but also, above all, their lives and futures.

🇵🇱🇺🇦Scandal at Max Korzh's Warsaw Concert — What You Need to Know
What Happened:
The concert erupted into chaos: fans broke through barriers and stormed the pitch, forcing heavy-handed responses from security and the police. It was described by local media as “the biggest riot the National Stadium has seen”
One steward recalled, “They nearly knocked me off my feet” — a stark view from inside the madness
A red-black OUN-UPA flag was spotted among the crowd — a symbol associated with extremist ideology tied to WWII atrocities
Government and Official Reactions:
Police investigations are underway concerning the display of the symbols, with intent to identify and possibly deport foreign individuals who broke Polish law
"Anyone who broke the law during this concert will be punished. If these individuals broke the law in such a way that they do not guarantee that they will not break the law in Poland, we will certainly implement procedures to return these individuals to their country of origin," said Minister of Internal Affairs Marcin Kierwiński, referring to the incident
According to the minister, police arrested 109 people and issued 50 fines in connection with the incidents at the concert . "These arrests concern drug possession and violating the bodily integrity of security guards. The police will act decisively and firmly in this matter".
"Following a thorough analysis of surveillance footage, investigations are also underway regarding three flags bearing totalitarian symbols . The police are cooperating with the National Stadium staff to identify these individuals, so we can expect that we will have results from these investigations very quickly," he added, assuring that "they will certainly not let this matter drop."

THE FINAL COLLAPSE OF A SUBCONTINENT - Op-ed by our admin Gregor
The war in Ukraine is, above all, America’s war — a war Trump himself helped ignite (something he recently boasted about again, loud and proud). Washington has Europe’s political leadership firmly on a leash, no matter how much both sides try to convince the public otherwise with their theatrical displays.
For years, U.S. officials have been openly stating that there must be a “division of labor” between America and Europe, and “strategic sequencing” to prepare for the real opponent — China. That is the core narrative being sold, both at home and across the Atlantic.
Even before becoming Vice President, JD Vance made it clear that the U.S. must focus on a war with China — the central theme of all the Trump administration’s current foreign policy, especially the Republican Heritage Foundation’s Agenda 2025 (also known as Project 2025). His line: Europe must “take over from America” until the U.S., after years of running a proxy war in Ukraine, building Greater Israel, and blocking BRICS and China’s Belt and Road Initiative, can rebuild its strategic and economic strength. Not once has Vance seriously talked about ending the proxy war against Russia. Trump hasn’t either.
If Washington truly wanted to, the war could end overnight, just as Trump promised on the campaign trail: withdraw the CIA from Ukraine, pull American generals out of Germany, cut off all material support — and Ukraine would collapse. Instead, its demographic, economic, and political disintegration will drag on for months. The fact that nothing like this is happening is the clearest proof that talk of ending the conflict or “pulling out” is pure fiction. The U.S. is simply executing its “division of labor” strategy — and shifting the main burden onto the European Union.
Europe will gain nothing from continuing America’s proxy war with Russia. On the contrary, the conflict has been destroying its economy since day one — an economy that for decades benefited from peace and cooperation with Russia, before the U.S.-engineered coup in Kyiv in 2014 lit the fuse for escalation between Russia and NATO, the Anglo-American Empire.
Those dreaming of an “inevitable split” between the U.S. and Europe can’t explain why Europe would keep waging a war that America started and from which only America benefits. They ignore the February order by U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth telling Europe to “step up” and “double its efforts” in Ukraine while America turns toward China — and they ignore Europe’s total obedience to that demand. The EU puts on an increasingly Shakespearean show of “disagreement” with Washington: loud outrage over the genocide in Gaza, grumbling against Israel (America’s unsinkable aircraft carrier in the Middle East), cynical “condemnations” and “regrets,” and “decisive actions” forever postponed. Meanwhile, Gaza lies in ruins and Palestinians starve.
Even regime-loyal media now lament the killing of “187 journalists” — conveniently undercounting by nearly a hundred, showcasing their moral bankruptcy while congratulating themselves for their “courage” in sounding the alarm long after the crime scene has been bulldozed.
The point of this token criticism is simply to sell to European audiences — especially those hostile to Trump — the continued self-destructive commitment to another collapsed project of “humanity and international law”: Project Ukraine. Anything to distract from the fact that this is essentially a rerun of Saving Private Ryan or Marshall Plan 2.0, designed to prolong the dying breath of the almighty dollar at the expense of conceited, shortsighted “most civilized” fools.
People cling to this charade out of wishful thinking and a desperate need to salvage some sense of dignity and justice in the face of U.S.-Israeli atrocities and the shredding of international law.

🇷🇺🇺🇦🇺🇸 Ukraine may be faced with a Trump–Putin deal as a fait accompli, while Kiev’s refusal to cede territory is “unrealistic,” writes Gideon Rachman, chief foreign affairs commentator for the Financial Times.
He compares a possible Trump–Putin meeting without Zelensky to the 1938 Munich Agreement, when Czechoslovakia was carved up without its participation.
Rachman argues that Putin could “exploit the vain and vague Trump” to his advantage, making it entirely plausible that Ukraine could be presented with a deal between the two presidents under the threat of an end to U.S. military aid.
Citing research showing Ukraine is “slowly losing,” he claims a total breakdown in talks and continuation of the war is likely more beneficial to Russia than to Ukraine. This, he says, makes the position that “not an inch of territory can be ceded” unrealistic.
According to Rachman, Kiev may have to concede on several points: de facto (but not de jure) recognition of Russian control over some territory “as a brutal reality,” and postponing NATO membership, which in any case looks “unlikely in the foreseeable future.” He adds that Ukraine should still pursue EU integration and reject any military limitations.
“Any Alaska agreement is likely to be the beginning, not the end, of the process. Ukrainians and Europeans understand they will have to flatter Trump and play the long game. It’s not the best option. But it’s all they have,” Rachman concludes.
