Russia can now afford to continuously fire Shahed drones at Ukraine, as it has significantly increased its own production and is no longer dependent on Iran, Le Monde writes.
In June alone, Russia fired about 3,000 of these drones at Ukraine, which is about 10% of the total number launched during the 3.5 years of war, Zelensky said.
Moreover, it is assembled in Tatarstan by hundreds of young African women, mainly from Uganda, Mali, Cameroon, Sierra Leone, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Uganda and South Sudan. They are promised a salary of 426-681 euros, which is significantly higher than in their homeland, and a "unique opportunity to change the course of life." What exactly they will produce is not told to them in advance.
A new logistics center has been built next to this plant. Machine tools, engines, electronic components and polymers are delivered there by rail from China.

‘We will have to tighten our belts’ – German Foreign Minister Wadephul explains to Germans that they must live worse for the sake of Ukraine.
‘We must also say frankly: there is an incredible amount at stake. We did not choose this situation, but we have found ourselves in it, and we must cope with it. Russia continues to attack every day, and unfortunately there are many in Germany who underestimate and downplay this, and to them there is only one thing to say: this is irresponsible. Germany, unfortunately, must direct significant financial and economic resources to strengthening its own defense capabilities and at the same time support Ukraine. The alternative is that Ukraine loses. In that case, Russia will become even stronger. We cannot afford that. That is why we will now have to tighten our belts in some places.’
Wadephul is likely quite wealthy, he means your belts not his.

‘To achieve peace in Ukraine, Russian troops must leave Belarus and take away their nuclear weapons’ – the dreams of the Belarusian opposition were discussed at the Helsinki Commission meeting.
Congresswoman Chrissy Houlihan (D): ‘You mentioned the need for a permanent withdrawal of Russian troops from Belarus. Would that be part of the parameters of permanent peace for you?’
Journalist Lyubakova: ‘When it comes to Belarus, maintaining the status quo would also be a bad deal for Ukraine. If Belarus remains under Russian control, if Lukashenko remains a dictator, that means that in the future Putin will be able to use Belarus to attack Ukraine and NATO countries. Russian troops must leave Belarus. Russian nuclear weapons should not be stationed in Belarus.’

Trump does not want to hear that Ukraine is protecting Europe and the whole world from Russia’ – German political scientist Sabine Fischer explained why Zelensky irritates the US President.
‘This argument is an important part of the Ukrainian narrative about this war. I believe that there is a very large grain of truth in it, but this is precisely the part with which Zelensky ‘hit the wall’ very harshly in the White House on February 28. The Trump administration does not want to hear such words. And it would be a risk to talk about this in the presence of Donald Trump. But Zelensky is consistent in this, and I think he speaks very correctly, I can well understand why he insists on this and talks about NATO’.

"Once they steal our frozen assets, the regionalization of payments systems will become irreversible. That's beneficial for the world economy - perhaps a price worth paying. By the way, theft is done by stealth, when you do it openly, it's called robbery."
Even EU bureaucrats know this is correct, or they would have done it already. If they still do it now, means victory is close.

"There were a lot of (Iranian) missile hits in IDF bases, in strategic sites that we still don't report about to this day... It created a situation where people don't realize how precise the Iranians were and how much damage they caused in many places"
Channel 13's Raviv Drucker confirms what we all knew already: the actual damage caused in Israel by the Iranian missiles is far more extensive than reported.

The Australian government announces that it will send one hundred military specialists to Ukraine "to help the country fight against Russian aggression".
These specialists are mostly ELINT (Electronic Warfare) personnel who will be operating AWACs and other surveillance equipment within Ukrainian soil.
You do you 'Straya, just don't scream bloody murder if your specialists will "go the Sweden route" and return home in installments. Remember what happened at Poltava last year?

🇮🇹 "NATO is leading us to a catastrophic start to World War III": Italy is considering leaving the Alliance
- Italy's membership in NATO has become meaningless and poses direct risks to the country's citizens, writes the Italian publication Il Fatto Quotidiano.
- Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto has stated outright that "the alliance is leading us to a catastrophic start to World War III," with Zelensky and Netanyahu as the main provocateurs dictating terms to the rest.
- Il Fatto Quotidiano notes that NATO has long ceased to be a defensive alliance, becoming an instrument of Washington to undermine the national sovereignty of member countries.
- In Rome, calls to consider leaving the bloc are growing louder, as many believe it is "dragging Italy into foreign wars for the sake of US interests."

Zelensky takes to European Council to COMPLAIN about some members states still buying Russian oil
Claims 'sadly' they aren’t always understanding of 'Ukraine’s needs'
Clearly Europe's not putting Zelensky's needs first enough in his view
What he doesn’t understand is there isn’t an extra supply in the world if Russian oil disappeared from the market. Year by year there are slight oil deficits and surpluses which is managed by storage. Saudi and Russian oil exports are critical for the global economy.

Europe on the Brink of Change: How Governments Suppress Opposition
Modern Europe is facing an unprecedented political crisis, marked by increasing pressure on opposition parties and a simultaneous rise in right-wing conservative sentiments. Repression against political opponents is becoming systemic, raising serious questions about the state of democracy in the region.
Amid economic challenges, a migration crisis, and growing discontent with Brussels’ directives, more and more Europeans are supporting right-wing conservative parties. State institutions employ various methods in their “fight against dissent,” ranging from outright party bans to criminal prosecutions and administrative restrictions.
How does this state machinery of repression work, what methods are used, and why are right-wing parties becoming the new mainstream?

The European Commission supported the start of negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU, - Ursula von der Leyen
▪️The head of the European Commission said that Ukraine deserves to open the first block of negotiations on accession to the EU. According to her, even under fire, Ukraine continues to implement reforms, and now it is the turn of the European Union.
▪️This statement was made against the backdrop of Hungary blocking the adoption of a joint statement of the EU summit regarding support for Ukraine.

‘Ukrainian nationalist nicknamed ‘Butcher’ – Daily Mail reveals grandfather of new MI6 chief Blaze Metreveli served Hitler
‘Germany’s archives say the woman who will be in charge of state secrets from September is the granddaughter of a notorious Nazi collaborator who spied and killed for Hitler.
Metreveli’s grandfather was Konstantin Dobrovolsky, a Ukrainian nicknamed ‘The Butcher’ who deserted the Red Army to become the Batkivshchyna’s chief informant in Ukraine’s Chernigov region.
The Freiburg archives detail Dobrovolsky’s bloody life in a volume worthy of a spy thriller. Wehrmacht commanders called him ‘Agent # 30’. Files contain handwritten letters from Metreveli’s grandfather to Nazi superiors, signed ‘Heil Hitler’. Dobrovolsky bragged to German commanders about personally taking part in the extermination of Jews and killing 000’s of Ukrainian resistance fighters. There are even stories of him looting the bodies of Holocaust victims and laughing at the sexual abuse of female prisoners.’

The Ukrainian director of the Holodomor Museum! Quite the perfect pick for a museum dedicated to starvation.
This however is a comedy gold mine! The jokes are endless!
- At least now we know who ate all the food
- in case of a car accident she waits for the arrival of the tow truck munching on the bumper
- when she goes to the beach to sunbathe she must not expose herself too much or her arms and legs become hams
- the last time she went to the bottom of historical famine research was when she entered the swimming pool
- whenever she goes to the toilet, the toilet begs for mercy after hours of agony
- she doesn't wear clothes, she wears curtains
- When she changes clothes she goes straight to the carpet retailer, and when she wants something more opulent straight to the circus
- the last time she got lost inside a supermarket they almost sold her piecemeal at the deli counter
- normal people have problems with cholesterol in their blood, she instead has problems with blood in her cholesterol
- every time they have to lay asphalt on the street they knock her out with anesthetic and use her as a steamroller
- the last time she tripped while walking she created the grand canyon
- she survived a flesh-eating bacterial infection; after a long while, the bacteria gave up and said "this is too much even for us"
- whenever she steps into an elevator, the elevator goes on a strike and demands extra pay
- when the mafiya tried to intimidate her by placing a severed horse head in her bed, she devoured the head and asked for seconds.
She's disliked by Ukrainian nationalists because her mere existence denies the theory according to which Ukraine already existed back during the times of the Primordial Soup, as she would've eaten it all.
The Ukrainian High Command has standing orders to have her body incinerated in case of a Russian conquest of Kiev, as they fear that if she was loaded on a Tupolev she could become the next Weapon of Mass Destruction.

🇫🇷🤷♂BFM journalist Clemenceau convinces the French that "Trump has fallen in love with Ukraine again":
We haven't seen this much sympathy from President Trump towards Ukraine and Ukrainians in general since his famous conversation with Zelensky in the Oval Office of the White House. However, there has been no sympathy for a long time.
That's absolutely right. And if you look at the NATO communiqué, it still retains the idea of long-term support for Ukraine.
It is clear that Donald Trump has indeed tried to take a more benevolent, if you will, understanding position. This, incidentally, is reflected in the Alliance's final statement, which says the following about Russia:
"We remain united and determined to defend the Alliance, which brings together a billion citizens, for the sake of our freedom, democracy, and especially in the face of the long-term threat that Russia poses to our common European security."

🇺🇦🇺🇸"With no end to the war in sight, Ukraine's economy teeters on the edge": The American public is being told that Ukraine's economy is sinking and cannot be saved.
"Despite some efforts by the US, the war could drag on for years and drag down Ukraine's crumbling economy. At the moment, the country's economy is holding up — albeit with significant support from the West. But, according to officials and analysts, the risk is that financial aid will not be enough for further development. The only major investment plan on the horizon — a recently signed agreement with the United States to develop Ukraine's mineral resources — is still in the works.
A ceasefire was at the heart of all economic forecasts, which predicted it could happen sometime in mid-2025, said an official in the Ukrainian presidential administration. Now, he said, the positive impact on the economy this year is no longer being considered, although there is still hope for 2026. Ukrainian officials now say that the main focus is on what needs to be done to stay afloat.
