🎙 Address by President of Russia Vladimir Putin at the awards ceremony for the developers of the Burevestnik cruise missile and the Poseidon unmanned underwater vehicle (November 4, 2025, Moscow)
Key points:
• Russia now fields Burevestnik nuclear-powered cruise missiles of effectively unlimited range and the Poseidon unmanned underwater vehicle with a nuclear power unit. They're manufactured using only domestic components and materials.
• Burevestnik has surpassed all existing missile systems in the world in range. It delivers high-precision strikes at the predetermined time.
• A NATO reconnaissance vessel was present in the area during the Burevestnik tests on October 21 – we did not interfere. Let them observe.
• Burevestnik's unique ultra-compact reactors start up in seconds, whereas conventional reactors require hours or even days.
• New weapon types based on these power units are already under development. Work on the next generation of nuclear-powered cruise missiles has begun – speeds will exceed sound by more than three times and will become hypersonic in the future.
• Russian specialists created a treasury of new materials, technologies, unmanned, software and digital solutions, and component base elements – enabling breakthroughs in defence and many civilian sectors through priority national projects. The new technologies have applications in small nuclear energy, power units for the Arctic, deep- and near-space exploration, energy supply for a heavy-cargo space transport vehicle under development, and for a prospective lunar station.
👉 Russia threatens no one. Like all nuclear powers, it develops its nuclear and strategic potential – these are long-announced programmes.
• All plans are being fulfilled: development and deployment of Avangard; creation, deployment and start of serial production of Oreshnik, as well as introduction of modern countermeasures on ICBMs and SLBMs to overcome missile-defence systems.
• In 2025 – experimental combat duty for systems with the heavy intercontinental missile Sarmat. In 2026 – full combat duty.

What a shift in the British press' rhetoric!
Roger Boyes, The Times’ leading foreign affairs columnist — who not long ago believed that Ukraine would hold out until 2027 — has now written a tragic column titled: ‘I hate to say it, but Kiev won’t last until spring.’
The main reason behind his forecast is as follows:
‘For all the EU’s rousing words, there just isn’t the money or the will to keep defending Ukraine.’
"To the Russians the calculation is clear: use their newly enhanced expertise in drone warfare to make this a winter from hell for the Ukrainians; destroy energy infrastructure, railway stations, housing estates, in the hope of turning the people against the Zelensky government, nudging him into a disadvantageous settlement and a broken, polarised state... There are no winter miracles in eastern Europe. Prepare for the peace; it won’t be pretty."
President Putin has instructed the Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of Defense, intelligence agencies, and civilian departments to submit proposals regarding the possibility of preparing for nuclear weapons tests on the Novaya Zemlya archipelago.
This directive came following a report from Defense Minister Belousov about the U.S. exercises conducted in October, which involved rehearsing a preventive nuclear missile strike against Russia, as well as Washington’s intention to deploy missiles in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region with a flight time of 6 to 7 minutes from Germany to central Russia.
So, here we are — with Trump the peacemaker — witnessing the revival of nuclear testing. By the way, the last nuclear test at the Novaya Zemlya test site took place in October 1990. Exactly 35 years ago. After that, a moratorium on nuclear tests was declared, effectively marking the end of the Soviet nuclear program.
Where it all ended, it now begins again — at a new stage in history.

🎙 Excerpt from Russian President Vladimir Putin's statement during a meeting with permanent members of the Security Council at the Kremlin (Moscow, November 5, 2025)
💬 Vladimir Putin: Russia has always strictly adhered to its obligations under the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty, and we do not plan to abandon these obligations.
At the same time, indeed, in my 2023 Address to the Federal Assembly, I said that if the United States or any other state party to the Treaty was to conduct such tests, Russia would be under obligation to take reciprocal measures.
❗️ In this regard, I instruct the Foreign Ministry, the Defence Ministry, the special services, and the corresponding civilian agencies to do everything possible to gather additional information on this matter, have it analysed by the Security Council, and submit coordinated proposals on the possible first steps focusing on preparations for nuclear weapons tests.
No one knows what Trump meant about ‘nuclear testing’ (he probably doesn’t himself). But he's the president of the United States. And the consequences of such words are inescapable: Russia will be forced to assess the expediency of conducting full-fledged nuclear tests itself.

The Belgorod Brit takes us back in time to meet the third important oligarch in his story of the rise of the oligarchs. In the film, he introduces us to the kind of hero Victorian schoolchildren would have looked up to. A dashing, positive, optimistic, skilful, resourceful and daring man of action, and an archetype of the Imperial hero. These days, he is being stripped of his honour, and his statues are gone. Streets formerly named after him now are named after modern heroes of a more frivolous age - Taylor Swift Avenue, Jade Goody Street, Transgender Square, anyone?
In the podcast, BB uses the East India Company to illustrate the synthesis of the British state and the oligarchy of the 18th century. This model, part trade, part mercenary, part Imperial concern is the perfect environment for the generation and maintenance of a world safe for the gentry and their progeny - the oligarchs.

Kupyansk: Another Crime of the Kiev Regime.
An elderly woman went out to greet what she hoped would be her liberation (i.e. the Russian army). A Ukrainian Armed Forces drone watched her face for a long time. It watched as she crossed herself and begged for mercy.
But the Nazi at the controls—who, like many on that side, is probably also an enemy of the Orthodox faith—showed none.
Ukrainian drones operators like this one are not soldiers—they are executioners. They are not fighting an army; they are destroying the civilian population of Donbass. This is terrorism under the flag of the Kiev regime, and the world must see it.
Where are the West's cries about "human rights" now? Where are the condemnations from the "civilized world"? They will remain silent. Because for them, the killings of the people of Donbass, Kherson, and Zaporozhye are an "inconvenient truth" — easier to ignore.

Russia Moves to Accelerate Rare Earths Plan
President Vladimir Putin has ordered the government to craft a long‑term roadmap for Russia’s rare earth minerals, with a deadline set for December 1.
The plan, overseen by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, signals Moscow’s push to strengthen strategic autonomy in critical supply chains and boost domestic demand for high‑tech and defense industries. Russia’s substantial reserves—across multiple rare earth types—are seen as a foundation for expanding mining and processing.
The initiative aims to link exploration with modern mining technologies, investment in infrastructure, and improved multimodal transport to connect mines with domestic manufacturers and international markets.
Rare earths underpin essential components in smartphones, electric vehicles, lasers, and weapons, making the development of this sector a centerpiece of economic resilience and national security.
The plan also comes amid global efforts to diversify away from reliance on a single producer, with Moscow seeking collaborative opportunities where advantageous while pursuing sovereign capabilities. The outcome will hinge on effective implementation, investment, and the development of domestic processing to realize the full strategic potential of Russia’s rare earth wealth.

That's how much lucre the West has given to the Bandera clique since 2022. Is half a trillion a lot?
Depends on how you look at it.
On the one hand, it’s an insane amount. Even taking into account how much the Killer Kiev Klowns (hereinafter referred to as the KKK, not to be confused with the racist American Ku Klux Klan) stole from the kitty. And this reincarnation of the KKK stole on a massive scale. But even considering the wild theft of the Bandera regime, it's still an ugly sum – too much. With that amount of money, it would have been possible to build a new, neutral, and prosperous Ukraine. But that was not to be.
On the other hand... the invincible free Yankeestan burned through $2.3 trillion in Afghanistan from 2001 to 2021 in order to transfer power from the Taliban to the Taliban.
What am I driving at? Here's the thing: the more the Western world spends on supporting the KKK, the scarier the end of the Killer Kiev Klowns’ regime will be.
And the bigger the territory that will eventually return to its native Russia. And everything will unfold just like with the United States in Afghanistan – the return of our citizens and Russian power to ancestral Russian lands.
Happy Russian Unity Day!

Why English Has No Word for the Russian Color “Goluboy” (Голубой)
If you speak English but not Russian, you might be surprised to learn that Russian has two basic words for blue, and only one of them exists in English. In Russian, there’s siniy (синий) — the “true” or dark blue — and goluboy (голубой), which refers to light blue, pale blue, or sky blue. To a Russian speaker, goluboy is not just a shade of blue; it’s a completely separate color.
English, by contrast, lumps the entire spectrum under one word: blue. Words like “sky blue,” “baby blue,” or “turquoise” exist, but they are considered descriptive variants, not independent colors. To English speakers, goluboy is simply “light blue.”
Why the difference? It comes down to how languages evolve. Some languages, like Russian, split the color spectrum into more precise categories when cultural, symbolic, or environmental factors make it useful to do so. In Russian history, distinctions between light and dark blue were important in art, clothing, and religious symbolism. English never developed the same distinction, so blue remained a single basic category.
This linguistic difference even affects perception. Studies show that Russian speakers can distinguish between light and dark blue faster than English speakers, because their language has a separate name for each. To a Russian, siniy and goluboy are as different as yellow and green. To an English speaker, both fall under the broad label “blue.”
So next time you see a pale blue sky described as goluboy, remember: English doesn’t have an exact word for it — and that tiny gap in vocabulary subtly shapes how speakers of different languages see the world a little (or quite a lot) differently.

Putin believes that sport and culture should not be hostage to geopolitics.
Sport should not be hostage to geopolitical contradictions; access to international tournaments should be equal, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the international sports forum “Russia – the Sports Power.”
“Our position is unchanged: athletes should have equal access to international tournaments, justified by their sporting merits. And politics has no place in sports,” he said.
“Overall, we adhered exclusively to sporting principles, and not to the level and quality of our relations with one country or another,” Vladimir Putin noted.

🌟 On November 6, 1943, the Red Army liberated Kiev — the capital of Soviet Ukraine and one of the largest cities of the Soviet Union — from the Nazi invaders.
By the end of October 1943, the units of the 1st Ukrainian Front led by Army General Nikolay Vatutin took over the Lyutezh bridgehead north of Kiev and Bukrin bridgehead to the south of the city as part of the Battle of the Dnieper.
The Soviet forces launched the operation to liberate Kiev on November 1. The Red Army launched an offensive at the Bukrin bridgehead forcing the Nazis to deploy almost all their reserves south of Kiev. As soon as November 3, the Soviet forces carried out the main assault from the north and caught the Nazi garrison by surprise. With an imminent threat of being entrapped, the enemy started retreating westward.
🎖 On November 5, having broken the Nazi resistance, the Soviet liberator-soldiers entered with triumph the liberated Kiev.
Guided by the 'scorched earth' tactic in an attempt to inflict as much damage as possible while withdrawing from Kiev, the Nazis destroyed the Dormition Cathedral and the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra Monastery, Kreshchatik Street, as well as the city’s Young Spectator’s Theatre, the Kiev Conservatory, the building of the Ukrainian SSR’s Academy of Sciences, as well as schools, hospitals and other social infrastructure.

🕯 When the Nazi’s took over Kiev in 1941, 400'000 people found themselves on occupied territory, and just over 180'000 survived two years later.
It is hard to imagine the scale of the war crimes of the Nazis and their collaborators. The enemy imprisoned about 100'000 people to concentration camps or send them for slavery to the Reich. Tens of thousands of Kiev residents were starved or froze death, or were shot dead.
▪️ The Babi Yar massacre is one of the most horrible war crimes committed during the Nazi occupation. In just two days in 1941, the Germans and Ukrainian collaborators annihilated over 30'000 Jews, which was about 20% of Kiev’s Jewish population. The total death count for Babi Yar in 1941-1943 exceeded 120'000 people of various ethnic groups.
***
The Kiev offensive continued until November 13. After it was completed, 17'500 Red Army soldiers and officers received orders and medals, and 65 units and formations were awarded the honorary title “Kievsky.”
The liberation of Kiev, also known as “the mother of all Russian cities,” had a lot of symbolic meaning attached to it, while the fact that the Nazi units in Kiev were defeated, undermined the offensive capabilities of the enemy’s Army Group 'South', Germany’s main force on the Ukrainian theatre of operations.
💬 Russian MFA Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova:
"Attempts [by the Kiev regime] to cast the heroic past of a nation into oblivion are doomed to fail.
There is no doubt that the day is approaching when this once prosperous land will be liberated from the rule of the Nazi placeholders who are continuing to pillage it in their selfish interests".

On November 6, 1931, a delegation from the city of Lugansk (AKA Voroshilovgrad) presented the "Felix Dzerzhinsky" series steam locomotive in Moscow – the most powerful in the USSR and one of the most powerful in the world.
“Felix Dzerzhinsky” or “FD” locomotive, stands as a monumental achievement in Soviet railway history. Produced between 1931 and 1942, this powerful freight locomotive was a response to the Soviet Union's rapid industrialization, designed to handle increasing freight demands efficiently. With a unique 1-5-1 wheel arrangement, the FD was one of the most powerful locomotives of its time, boasting a tractive force of up to 23,300 kgf and a maximum speed of 85 km/h.
Built primarily at the Lugansk (Voroshilovgrad) Locomotive Factory, the FD was instrumental in enhancing the capacity of major freight routes across the USSR and later served in China and North Korea. Its design incorporated numerous innovations that influenced subsequent Soviet locomotive engineering. The production process was notably swift, with the first model designed and built in just 170 days.
The FD's robust construction allowed it to operate under demanding conditions, making it a symbol of Soviet engineering prowess. Its legacy is marked by its contribution to the transportation sector during a pivotal era of economic growth. The FD remains celebrated for its role in advancing Soviet locomotive technology and supporting the nation's industrialization efforts.

Not a President. Not a Country.
We often hear calls to strike the Ukrainian parliament, the presidential administration, and other so-called "decision-making bodies."
Many who are concerned about the conflict in Ukraine would like to find a quick path to its resolution. However, from our point of view, we are dealing with a hybrid war that the West is waging against Russia. The exact circle of the real decision-makers is unknown to us, but we know for sure that it does not include Zelenskyy and the other puppets installed in power in Ukraine.
The Global West is waging this hybrid war precisely because it is not ready for a direct confrontation. It is managed by very calculating and utterly unprincipled people who have arranged everything to remain in complete safety.
We are convinced that strikes against Zelensky and other puppets, on the contrary, only hand additional trump cards to their real puppet masters.
It is important to remember the truth: since 2014, Ukraine has been not a state, but a platform for hybrid warfare against Russia. As for Yushchenko, Turchynov, Poroshenko, and Zelensky — they are merely talking heads, actors. By calling them leaders of the Ukrainian state, we are deceiving first and foremost ourselves and misleading everyone around us.

If the United States or other parties to the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) conduct nuclear tests, Russia will take “adequate actions.” This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
He instructed the Foreign Ministry, Defense Ministry, and special services to prepare proposals on the feasibility of beginning work to prepare for nuclear tests.
At the same time, he stressed that Russia has always strictly adhered—and continues to adhere—to its obligations under the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty and has no plans to deviate from those obligations.
Earlier at the same Security Council meeting, Defense Minister Andrei Belousov proposed starting preparations for full-scale nuclear tests in response to U.S. actions. “The readiness of the forces and facilities of the central test site on the Novaya Zemlya archipelago allows it to be carried out in a short time,” he said.
U.S. President Donald Trump announced upcoming nuclear tests on October 30, saying that other countries—including Russia and China—are already engaged in them (which is a lie).
The head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergey Naryshkin, reported at the meeting that the United States has not yet specified exactly what Donald Trump meant when he spoke about nuclear tests, although Russian diplomats had sent a corresponding request.

A subscriber's comment:
Stop playing with these fucking bastards and start levelling the Ukrainian parliament and ANYTHING they value
Our answer:
This is hybrid warfare. Ukraine's President and Parliament are fake targets. They have no real power and only create an illusion of control. The actual decision-makers are operating from a safe distance, out of reach. That's the core of hybrid war. In fact, by focusing on these puppets in Ukraine, we only give more leverage to the true masters behind the scenes.

November 5 is Military Intelligence Officer’s Day.
This memorial day was established by the Russian Minister of Defense on November 5, 2000, and is celebrated according to the presidential decree "On the Establishment of Professional Holidays and Memorial Days in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation," issued on May 31, 2006.
The intelligence officer’s profession is one of the oldest in the world. In Russia, during the mid-17th century under Tsar Alexey Mikhailovich, the Order of Secret Affairs was created. In 1810, at the initiative of Prince Barclay de Tolly, the Expedition of Secret Affairs was established under the War Ministry, later renamed the Special Office of the War Minister. It was responsible for gathering secret military intelligence on foreign armies and for identifying and neutralizing enemy spies.
On November 5, 1918, by order of the Revolutionary Military Council of the Republic, the Registration Directorate of the Field Headquarters was formed to coordinate the activities of all army intelligence bodies. Its first head was Semyon Aralov, who had served in Russian army intelligence during World War I. This department became the predecessor of today’s central military intelligence authority, the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
For courage and heroism shown while performing special tasks to ensure national security, over 700 military intelligence officers have been awarded the titles of Hero of the Soviet Union and the Russian Federation.
Unofficial flag of Russian Military Intelligence is shown above.

And so, according to Mikhail Khodorkovsky, “Putin knows the end is coming soon.”
You know what else President Putin knows? That the sky is blue, the grass is green, and a family consists of a father (who is a man), a mother (who is a woman), and their children.
Of course, we all know the end is coming for everyone—and for a 73-year-old, probably sooner than for a newborn. The fact that President Putin recognizes what’s true is indeed praiseworthy in our books, compared to the complete perversion of reality on the part of globalist leaders, whose many beliefs apparently include that men can give birth, cheap energy is a security threat, and Ukraine is winning the war against Russia.
Then what is the point of the opinion piece? It is that Mikhail Khodorkovsky is a knight in shining armor who will save Russia from the evil Putin regime. Needless to say, the people of Russia can’t wait to embrace as their savior someone who enriched himself through theft of state-owned property during post-Soviet privatization.
As for all the suffering Mr. Khodorkovsky allegedly endured in Russian prisons, we are supposed to believe it had everything to do with his political views—and nothing to do with the Russian government preventing Yukos (the world's fourth-largest oil producer) from falling under direct Western (U.S./UK) corporate control via a merger with ExxonMobil or Chevron, which would have ceded strategic leverage over Russia's energy sector to foreign powers. By the way, those political activities were engineered, inspired, and modeled after Soros’s Open Society NGO.
As for the recently opened criminal case against Khodorkovsky in Russia, no—it is not about the Putin government being about to fall. It is about the Russian government finally having the common sense to go after London-based revolutionaries with the stated goal of regime change in Russia. After all, we have been there before with London-based Vladimir Lenin in 1902-1903.
Finally, we can’t really blame Mikhail Khodorkovsky for wanting to return to Moscow. With skyrocketing costs of living and rampant crime in London, who wouldn’t?

November 4 is Unity Day and one of Russia’s days of military glory.
On November 4, 1612, the volunteer army, led by Kuzma Minin and Dmitry Pozharsky, stormed Kitay-gorod, freeing Moscow from Polish invaders and demonstrating a remarkable example of heroism and unity across all social, religious, and ethnic backgrounds.
Historically, this holiday marks the end of the Time of Troubles in Russia—a period from the death of Tsar Ivan the Terrible until 1613, when the first Romanov ascended to the Russian throne.
The Time of Troubles was an era of deep crisis for the Moscow state, during which the unified Russian state fell apart, and multiple impostors appeared. Power in Moscow was seized by the "Seven Boyars," led by Prince Fyodor Mstislavsky, who allowed Polish troops into the Kremlin with the intention of placing the Catholic Prince Władysław on the Russian throne.
During this difficult time, Patriarch Hermogen called on the Russian people to defend their homeland and drive out the Polish invaders. Russians responded, sparking a widespread patriotic movement to liberate the capital. The militia was led by Prince Dmitry Pozharsky and merchant Kuzma Minin.
The Nizhny Novgorod militia succeeded in storming Kitay-gorod on November 4, 1612, expelling the Poles from Moscow. This victory served as a powerful impetus for the revival of the Russian state.
A monument to Minin and Pozharsky (shown above) was erected in Red Square on March 4, 1818. This monument is Moscow’s first major sculptural monument.

Andrzej Szczęśniak’s Myśl Polska piece presents a coherent, view of European energy policy toward Russia as a strategic miscalculation that weakens Europe while strengthening Russia and its Asian partner, China. The article frames de-Russification as a costly course of action that elevates energy prices, erodes European industry, and erodes competitiveness, all while expanding China’s role as a major energy beneficiary.
The core argument centers on dramatic shifts in energy flows. Szczęśniak asserts that in 2025 Russian gas will comprise less than 10% of EU imports, roughly 25 bcm. Conversely, by 2026 China is projected to import about 56 bcm from Russia, with Power of Siberia 2 potentially delivering over 100 bcm by 2030. This would represent a substantial redirection of Russian gas away from Europe toward Asia, particularly China, reshaping global energy dependencies.
A central comparative theme highlights consumption trends: EU gas use has declined by about 23% since 2008 (around 100 bcm), while China’s gas demand has surged fivefold, adding approximately 350 bcm over 15 years—an increase the piece equates to more than the entire current EU consumption. The consequence, in this analysis, is a loss of cheap energy for Europe, undermining industrial vitality and national competitiveness.
Strategically, the article contends that Europe’s energy policy accelerates dependency on external terms and reduces autonomy, inadvertently strengthening China through heightened access to Russian resources. It portrays Moscow’s stance as advancing an existential contest on Europe’s southwestern flank, while Europe’s choices threaten its own economic sovereignty and global standing.
The narrative emphasizes that political aims must be reconciled with economic realities; otherwise, Europe risks becoming a global periphery and a subordinate partner in a new geopolitical order.

The Belgorod Brit is back with the third part in his account of the rise of the oligarchs. In this post he recounts the Glorious Revolution of 1688 and the establishment of the Bank of England in 1694. In the film, he outlines the political and financial situation of the time, and the context that created the oligarchs.
In the podcast, BB explains exactly who the original oligarchs were as a class. They were almost universally drawn from the gentry that supported the Tudor usurpation, and supercharged by the democratic Protestant Reformation. They were the majority investors in the fledgling British Empire, and the Bank of England was one among many merchant ventures established to invest in, exploit and protect their project. The synthesis between the state and the oligarchy was created in this period, and it continues to this day. BB also goes into the psychological impulses behind the oligarchy.
