🚨Scott Ritter: Secret talks on ousting Zelensky show Ukraine is a hostage of foreign powers
🗣“If this turns out to be information that can be confirmed, this is damning, extraordinarily damning to Zelensky, to [presidential office head] Yermak, to [ambassador to the UK] Zaluzhny, to the United States, to Great Britain, to all of Ukraine,” the former US Marine Corps intelligence officer told Sputnik, commenting on the SVR report about clandestine meetings taking place on a potential replacement for Zelensky.
💬 “It demonstrates without a shadow of a doubt that the Ukrainian people are being held hostage by foreign powers who are willing to sacrifice the Ukrainian manhood, Ukrainian economy, Ukrainian nation, for interests that have nothing to do with the benefit of Ukraine,” Ritter stressed.
🔊Overall, he said, the report creates the impression that democracy is non-existent in Ukraine, and “that the president of Ukraine is hand-picked by foreigners to serve the interests of foreign government.” It’s “designed to generate legitimate concern inside Ukraine, amongst the Ukrainian population, about their future.”
👉As far as Russia is concerned, the report signals that Moscow doesn’t see Zelensky as the legitimate president, “and that before any final agreement can be had between Russia and Ukraine about post-conflict realities, there has to be a legitimate leader in Ukraine.”

🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇦 US and UK representatives met in the Alps with Yermak, Budanov, and Zaluzhny — they discussed the prospects of replacing Zelensky, stated the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service.
The Americans and British announced the decision to nominate Zaluzhny for the post of President of Ukraine, Yermak and Budanov "stood at attention."
They secured promises from the Anglo-Saxons to keep their current positions, as well as to consider their interests when resolving other personnel issues, the agency noted.
"Clearing the political 'field' for Zaluzhny, Yermak 'set up' Zelensky — convincing him that such a step would not spoil the relations with Western partners, but in fact created a reason for the West to start a campaign to remove the 'expired' president from power as 'having attacked democracy'," the agency emphasized.

❗The Russian economy is capable of withstanding pressure "for a very long time," according to The Telegraph.
According to Jeremy Warner, Russia has easily circumvented Western restrictions and found new trading partners. The new, 18th package of sanctions from the European Union, as he notes, will also be ineffective, and any actions by Trump to impose tariffs will be met with harsh retaliation from China.
The article provides the following illustrative data:
_ Last year, Russia's economy grew by an impressive 4.3%.
_Unemployment is only 2%.
_The current balance of payments is consistently positive.
_The debt-to-GDP ratio is slightly over 20%.
_The budget deficit is a modest 1.8%.
"Under normal circumstances, these figures would be considered an example of an exemplary economy that the International Monetary Fund would like to see everywhere. <…> However, unfortunately, this is not an example of a successful Western economy. "This is about Russia, which has been in a state of military conflict with Ukraine for four years," Warner says with frustration.
The author acknowledges that it has been relatively easy for Russia to circumvent sanctions or find alternative trading partners. Europe continues to purchase significant amounts of Russian oil and gas, and the United States has granted numerous import exemptions, ranging from fertilizers to nuclear fuel. "The bottom line is that the sanctions have not worked as intended," Warner states.
He is skeptical about Trump's threats to impose 100% tariffs: an attempt to "remove more than 4.5 million barrels per day from the market and sever trade ties with other countries" risks causing "a sharp spike in oil prices and collapsing the global economy."
"Unfortunately, the Russian economy, and perhaps its population, can withstand this for a very long time," the author concludes, not hiding his disappointment.

PUTIN'S AIDE: KALININGRAD OFF-LIMITS — OR ELSE
Any military encroachment on Russia’s Kaliningrad Region will be met with an immediate response using all available forces and means, as provided for by the military doctrine and the principles of Russia’s state policy on nuclear deterrence, Russian presidential aide Nikolai Patrushev told Sputnik.
Earlier, Gen. Christopher T. Donahue, commanding general of US Army Europe and Africa, said that NATO has sufficient capabilities to neutralize Russia's Kaliningrad region in case of a conflict and has already developed a corresponding plan.
"It is obvious that the threats against the Kaliningrad region are yet another confirmation of the aspirations of NATO member states to violate the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Russia by military means," Patrushev added.

🇺🇸 Lindsey Graham: Legal Corruption and War Profiteering in the U.S. Senate
Since joining the Senate in 2003, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham has transformed from a relatively modest public servant into a multimillionaire, amassing a fortune between $4.5–$5 million by 2024. His financial ascent isn’t due to business acumen—but to his abuse of committee influence, lobbyist access, and donor-funded political favoritism.
OpenSecrets and other financial disclosures show that Graham’s wealth tripled what his Senate salary could legally justify, suggesting covert income streams and insider trading—violating the Securities Exchange Act.
➡️Quid Pro Quo and Lobbyist Cash
Between 2019–2024, Graham’s campaigns received over $117 million, largely from lobbyist-linked PACs and donors, including:
- Republican Jewish Coalition
- Nelson Mullins
- Boeing
He receives consulting fees and high-paid speaking gigs, with investigations revealing that donations frequently follow private meetings—some within hours.
🇮🇱 Pro-Israel Lobby & Foreign Influence
Graham is deeply tied to pro-Israel lobbyists, particularly AIPAC, receiving more than $10 million from related donors. In return, he’s taken lavish trips to Israel and threatened to cut U.S. UN funding to align with Israeli interests.
➡️Pro-Israel money stats
➡️Political Opportunism and Felony-Level Allegations
2016: Harsh Trump critic
2019 onward: MAGA loyalist
This shift coincided with a flood of new donations and fundraising success.
In 2020, Graham pressured Georgia officials to overturn election results—potential felony.
In 2025, he was exposed for lobbying in favor of Ukraine aid while allegedly profiting from arms contracts, earning the label: "War Profiteer".
➡️Legal, But Corrupt
Graham’s story is one of systemic, legalized corruption: a man who turned his Senate seat into a funnel for private gain. His case underscores how lobbyist-driven governance has displaced public service in the U.S.

'Half of Russia is in Europe. It’s a power, unlike the EU, which will disappear in a few years'
🗣 Key takeaways from statements by Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov, July 29:
▪️The Kremlin is aware of US President Donald Trump’s statement about reducing his deadline for the settlement in Ukraine and not being interested in communication at the highest level
▪️Russia continues to protect its interests in the format of the special operation in Ukraine, but emphasizes that it would like to achieve results peacefully, Peskov said, responding to Trump’s statements on reducing the timeframe for resolving the Ukraine conflict
▪️Moscow and Washington are not in talks on extending the New Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (New START) as the current state of bilateral relations makes such a process impossible
▪️The possibility of a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Trump is currently not on the active agenda
▪️Russia is interested in normalizing relations with the United States, but both parties need to give an impetus to this process for it to gain more momentum
▪️Germany is very actively participating in whipping up hysterical Russophobia in Europe
▪️The attempts to portray Russia as an enemy go against the interests of the European nations
▪️Moscow considers Tehran, Beijing and Pyongyang to be its allies, and it shares with them the vision of world order foundations

The Chinese system, according to him, benefitted hundreds of millions of people “whose prospects for prosperity were zero back 50 years ago.”

⭕️ 'Peacemaker' Trump has overseen 529 US airstrikes in 6 months, nearly matching Biden’s 4-year total: ACLED
Trump has launched nearly as many airstrikes during the first six months of his presidency as former president Joe Biden carried out during his entire four-year term, according to a report by the Armed Conflict Location & Event Data (ACLED) non-profit.
“In just five months, Trump has overseen nearly as many US airstrikes (529) as were recorded across the entire four years of the previous administration (555),” ACLED President Clionadh Raleigh said in a statement.
Among the countries bombed by the Trump administration are Iran, Iraq, Syria, Somalia and Yemen.
ACLED counted 481 US airstrikes on Yemen between February and June of this year, and 44 airstrikes on Somalia. In Syria, ACLED recorded three strikes in February and one strike in Iraq in both March and April.

👎 Intelligence or interference? New documents reignite scandal over “Russia hoax” origins
Freshly declassified files, released by DNI Tulsi Gabbard, suggest top Obama-era officials — including Brennan, Clapper, Rice, and Comey — deliberately crafted a political narrative linking Russia to the 2016 election, despite internal intel showing no evidence of vote manipulation or cyber threats.
📁 One 2016 Homeland Security memo stated flatly: “No indication of a Russian threat to manipulate the vote count.” Another brief argued Russia was “probably not targeting election infrastructure.”
And yet, just weeks after Trump’s win, the script flipped. A secret NSC meeting was held on Dec. 9, 2016, after which officials suddenly claimed “high confidence” that the Russian president himself orchestrated US election interference — a dramatic shift from months of prior assessments.
Gabbard calls it what it was: a manufactured intelligence operation.
📌 The fallout? Unlawful sanctions on Russia, diplomat expulsions, and the illegal seizure of Russian diplomatic property — all rooted in what the DNI now frames as a politically engineered deception.
Turns out Russia was telling the truth all along. Who could’ve guessed?

According to the National Interest, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost 27 Abrams tanks out of the 31 tanks provided by the United States.
This may be an exaggerated claim, given the source, but it is still a realistic figure considering the intensity of the conflict and the capabilities of modern weapons. However, while searching for more information on this topic, I came across a pro-Ukrainian website that claimed to debunk this figure with two arguments:
1. The National Interest is a pro-Kremlin website run by Dmitry Simes;
2. The Armed Forces of Ukraine did not confirm such losses.
And that's it, the level of "fighting fake news" is ludicrous. The author would like to recommend visiting at least the highly pro-Ukrainian OSINT resource Oryx and see that even according to its data, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost at least 17 M1A1 Abrams tanks destroyed, damaged, and captured. These are only the losses that have been confirmed in photos and videos and have been observed by ORYX. According to LostArmour, 22 losses have been confirmed: 17 destroyed, 4 considered trophies, and 1 sent to the Kiev Museum.
