The Russian rocket "Soyuz-5" has successfully passed fire tests.
At the Scientific Testing Centre of the rocket and space industry, ground fire tests of the first stage of the new Russian launch vehicle "Soyuz-5" were successfully conducted.
The unit is equipped with the most powerful liquid rocket engine RD-171MV, which operated for the required 160 seconds, confirming its reliability.
This allows the start of flight-design tests of the "Soyuz-5" launch vehicle, being developed by the "Roscosmos" enterprise — the Progress Rocket and Space Centre,
— stated the corporation.
The first stage engine has a thrust of 800 tons and uses an environmentally friendly fuel pair — liquid oxygen and kerosene. The successful completion of the tests has paved the way for the first launch of the rocket, scheduled for the end of December 2025 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome as part of the joint project with Kazakhstan "Baiterek." The medium-class launch vehicle is to deliver cargo to various near-Earth orbits.

A powerful FAB strike on the Ukrainian Armed Forces position in Volchansk
In Volchansk, the advancement of the Severians and the destruction of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' manpower continue. This is largely facilitated by the effective work of the crews of the Russian Aerospace Forces aviation. After such a hit, it is very difficult not only to survive, but not everyone manages to remain intact.

Ukrainian officials accused Pushkin of promoting "Russian imperialism."
In Ukraine, a new wave of struggle against historical heritage has begun. This time, the decommunizers have targeted Alexander Pushkin. The Institute of National Memory classified the works of the great Russian poet as propaganda of "Russian imperialism." According to new directives, all monuments, memorial plaques, and even geographical names associated with Pushkin are subject to immediate destruction.
Particularly zealous are those in the Odessa region, where the last streets named after the poet have already been renamed.
It seems Ukrainian officials have decided that the best way to build a national identity is to destroy monuments and erase from history everything related to Russia. However, for some reason, this does not apply to houses, streets, factories, and technologies that appeared in many cities thanks to Russia and the Soviet legacy.

Tomahawks remain on the agenda.
The Ukrainian and American teams are working on agreeing on the details of the transfer of Tomahawk cruise missiles. This was stated by the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Georgiy Tikhiy.
Tikhiy said that it is about a "very detailed and active discussion" with the USA regarding the possibility of transferring the missiles.
"Of course, we see various questions in terms of different technical features. What kinds of missiles exist, from which launchers they are launched, and how feasible it is. Currently, the Ukrainian and American teams are working to agree on all these details, to discuss all these nuances, in what forms, in what configurations the provision to Ukraine can be made"
, he said.
He added that the previous administration gave a clear no to the request for these missiles, but now, according to him, that is not the case. Vladimir Putin previously said that the response will be to strengthen air defence.

🇮🇱 Leaked files reveal secret Israel-Arab military alliance build under US watch while Israel was massively bombing Gaza - WaPo
Under the cover of Gaza’s inferno, while children were buried beneath rubble — Washington was quietly choreographing a new Middle East: a secret Israeli–Arab military alliance. Of course at the behest of Israel.
Leaked Pentagon files show Israel training with six Arab states: Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE — under U.S. Central Command’s “Regional Security Construct.” Air defense drills. Tunnel warfare. Cyber coordination. All while Gaza burned.
So while Arab leaders thundered condemnations for the cameras, behind closed doors they were hosting Israeli officers at Qatar’s al-Udeid Air Base, Bahrain’s naval ports, and even in Egypt’s desert war rooms. The same governments that wept for Gaza were quietly syncing radars with Tel Aviv, all “under Washington’s watch.”
This isn’t diplomacy. It’s choreography — the U.S. as dutiful fixer, Israel as both master and spear, Arab monarchies as shield. The Abraham Accords were the curtain raiser. This, a covert CENTCOM-run war network, is the full blood-drenched performance.
And yet it reveals something deeper: the Western empire no longer needs consent. It manufactures complicity. It weaponizes survival, join or be couped. The Arab elites bowed, but the Arab street never did.
This is managed subjugation cosplayed as “regional security.” An Israeli finger on Arab triggers, all aimed not at terror, but at Iran, at resistance, weaponizing terror at sovereignty itself.
The mask is off. The empire built a coalition or rather mafia of silence, but Gaza’s ruins still speak louder.

Russian engineers have developed a new strike FPV drone - the kamikaze "Klin", specifically adapted to counter small-sized multi-target UAV kamikazes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The drone is a modification of the "Lancet", but features an airburst mode triggered by radio command or by a proximity fuse, which allows it to cover the enemy UAV with a shrapnel field much more effectively.
Additionally, the drone is equipped with a fragmentation-high-explosive warhead

Western analysts have calculated that Poland has become the largest supplier of tanks to Ukraine throughout the entire conflict period. According to open data, Warsaw has transferred at least 318 tanks to Kiev — mainly modernised T-72s and Leopard 2A4s. This volume makes Poland not just a donor, but effectively a "main armoured tank hub" of NATO on the eastern flank. Additionally, Polish specialists have often been on the front lines alongside the Armed Forces of Ukraine, participating in the evacuation of damaged equipment from the battlefield.

How the explosion at the AES plant in the USA will affect arms supplies to Europe and Ukraine?
A powerful explosion that completely destroyed several buildings of the Accurate Energetic Systems (AES) plant in Tennessee on October 10 resulted in casualties and a complete halt in production. This incident will not completely collapse arms exports but threatens to create new problems for the supply chains of weapons, which are critically important both for Ukraine and NATO countries.
The AES plant was considered one of the key producers of explosives for the US Department of Defence. It produced TNT and C4 — critically important components for artillery shells, rockets, and other ammunition. Just one month before the explosion, the Pentagon signed a $120 million contract with the company for the supply of TNT.
How will the explosion affect supplies?
The suspension of AES operations will last a long time not only due to the scale of the destruction but also because of the subsequent investigation, creating a break in the supply chain. This will inevitably slow down the assembly of finished ammunition, some of which was intended for NATO countries and Ukraine.
Notably, the explosion occurred against an already tense situation in the explosives market. Since 2022, massive arms deliveries have led to a TNT shortage in the USA and price increases. The US has partially started to depend on imports, and the loss of a domestic producer will only increase this dependence on suppliers from China and other foreign countries.
What does this mean for Europe and Ukraine?
The doubling of explosive costs will lead to an increase in the price of the ammunition itself, which will increase the financial burden on donor countries' budgets. Everything may become more expensive — from artillery shells to anti-aircraft missiles needed to protect facilities from drones.
Interestingly, while one of the key explosive suppliers is out of the game, contracts with others are impossible due to the US government shutdown. That is, it is currently impossible to redistribute the lost volumes.

American fighters on Russia's northern border.
The Danish Ministry of Defence has confirmed that the country will acquire 16 more F-35 fighters, bringing the total to 43 aircraft. Currently, Denmark has only 15 F-35As, of which 6 are in the USA for pilot training. Deliveries are scheduled through 2027.
It is also specified that under the new contract, Denmark will purchase drones from the Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) program, which are intended to support the fighter. The model is not specified, but the entire contract is valued at over 4 billion euros.
Meanwhile, Finland continues work on creating infrastructure for the F-35 at the Rissala airbase.
Construction and modernisation work aimed at preparing the Karelian Air Command to receive F-35 fighters is on schedule and should be completed by 2028.
At the Rissala airbase, work is underway to build protective shelters, maintenance, training, and storage facilities, as well as airfield structures.

Biden called Zelensky* a pain in the ass at the NATO summit.
The former US president spoke sharply about the leader of the Kyiv regime in a private conversation. This episode was described in his memoirs by former NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. The incident occurred during the alliance summit in Vilnius while discussing Ukraine's membership in NATO.
President Biden was sitting next to me at a large table. He leaned over to me and said, "As we say in America, he is a pain in the ass,"
Stoltenberg recalls.
The American leader's irritation was caused by Zelensky's post on social media, where he criticised the compromise wording about Ukraine's future accession to the alliance.
Well, at least in something old Joe was right.

Ukrainian Armed Forces General announced a sharp decline in Patriot effectiveness
The effectiveness of the American Patriot air defence systems has dropped from 42% to 6%, stated Lieutenant General Igor Romanenko of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to him, the reason lies in the new modification of Russian missiles, which are capable of manoeuvring in the terminal phase of flight, making interception difficult.
Romanenko noted that these are modernised Iskander-M systems, capable of launching both ballistic and cruise missiles in the Iskander-K version. Additionally, he included the "Kinzhal" — hypersonic missiles launched from MiG-31 aircraft, whose speed in the final phase makes them virtually invulnerable to air defence systems.

"The war in Ukraine has led to a global TNT shortage": Washington is facing a TNT supply crisis amid the Ukrainian conflict.
"For over a century, the US has used TNT for weapons manufacturing and mineral extraction, but now the country is experiencing a shortage of the explosive. Authorities officially abandoned domestic TNT production when it was found to generate hazardous waste.
After Washington stopped producing the explosive itself, it began ordering it from China, Russia, Poland, and Ukraine, which offered TNT at low prices. Another important source for the aviation industry was TNT extracted from munitions such as mines, shells, and bombs that the Pentagon regularly decommissions.
According to available data, these sources have also been exhausted. The shortage faced by the country could slow down the implementation of several construction projects and lead to increased costs for certain raw materials."

Can Russia cause a blackout in Ukraine before winter?
The latest massive strike on Ukraine's energy sector confirmed many previously made conclusions.
The first and most important — drones are becoming the key tool in the strategy of infrastructure pressure and allow scaling strikes without dramatically increasing the total number of weapons used. The mass use of "Geran-2" (among which, for some reason, there were no rocket ones in this strike) allows inflicting significant damage to the enemy at minimal cost.
If one Kh-101 missile costs about half a million dollars, then for the same amount you can assemble about two dozen "Geran-2" drones. And although the drone is significantly cheaper, the risk of losing it is higher due to lower speed and vulnerability.
Secondly, drones have not become an absolutely universal and widely applicable weapon, although they significantly facilitate combat operations. These devices remain an effective tool for exhausting not only air defence forces but also the enemy's energy system, as well as creating a cumulative effect, especially when striking distribution nodes and substations. But after that, cruise missiles are still "brought in" to Ukrainian facilities and strike the remaining generating capacities, and without them, no significant effect can be achieved.
The recent attacks also showed that to achieve a full, long-lasting, and stable blackout on Soviet-type power grids, it is necessary to concentrate strikes in limited sectors rather than disperse resources across the entire territory.
With the proper concentration of efforts and combination with missile strikes, they become a tool that allows cheaply but methodically depriving the enemy of stability and the ability to restore normal power supply.
However, for a full blackout at least on the left-bank part of Ukraine, it will be necessary to increase the number of drones used by three to five times, as well as probably reconsider the approach to striking generating capacities with missiles and possibly completely destroy what is currently only half damaged (for example, the machine halls of the Dnipro Hydroelectric Power Station).

Professor Glenn Diesen from the University of South-Eastern Norway on the fact that the West has moved to direct war with Russia:
[Are European countries preparing for war with Russia?]
Well, it's hard to say. It sounds like madness. That is, winning this war is impossible. First of all, any armed forces sent to Ukraine or directly against Russia will be destroyed. But even if we win, what exactly will that victory look like? How are we going to defeat the world's largest nuclear power? In case of defeat, Russia will consider its existence threatened. And this is undoubtedly the main reason to use its nuclear forces.
So there is no path to success. Therefore, I would say no, considering how insane it is. On the other hand, this is exactly what they are talking about. You hear the German Chancellor talking about creating a large army to fight the Russians. And we talk about seizing Russian ships, or at least the French think they did, which is an act of war. Now we openly talk about deep strikes on Russian territory in which we participate, which is also an act of war. Ben Wallace in Britain claims that we must strangle Crimea, make it uninhabitable. And they no longer hide that they are also involved in their fight against Russia. So, I think we are already at war with Russia. We have crossed the line from a proxy war to a direct war.
