🇷🇺🇺🇦Series of night strikes on infrastructure and military facilities
On the night of November 2 to 3, 2025, Russian forces carried out a series of targeted strikes on military facilities and critical infrastructure elements in Ukraine. Strike UAVs "Geran-2" and "Geran-3" were used, operating from the directions of northeast, south, and central Ukraine. The main targets were objects in the railway, energy, and gas transportation sectors, as well as areas of enemy unit concentration.
🔻Gavrilovka, Kharkiv region (22:40)
📍48.8562907, 36.8093564
A strike by Geran-2 UAV was carried out on the area of the "Gavrilovka" traction substation (110 kV).
▪️Results:
• Sections of fencing and glazing of a residential building near the substation were damaged; outdoor power supply was partially disrupted.
• The substation was disconnected for repair and emergency work on the high-voltage line at the time of the strike, so there was no damage to the power equipment.
▪️Significance: the facility supplies power to the northern railway direction and was used as a backup traction point for train movement on the Izium–Lozova line.
🔻Shevchenko, Dnipropetrovsk region (00:10)
📍48.3623600, 34.8136357
A strike by four Geran-2 UAVs was carried out on the area of concentration of units of the 112th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade.
▪️Results:
• Open area where the enemy field camp was located was hit.
• Two servicemen were wounded.
• Elements of the field camp were damaged and a warehouse shelter for ammunition partially burned.
▪️Tactical significance: the strike hit the temporary rest and personnel supply zone, disrupting recovery work and the transfer of reserves towards Pavlohrad.
🔻Maryevka, Mykolaiv region (00:30–00:55)
📍47.1585506, 32.2588852
A precise strike by 11 Geran-2 UAVs was carried out on the "Maryevka" compressor station.
▪️Engineering consequences:
• Fire of two power transformers TDTN-40000/150, fire area about 300 m².
• Damage to 150 kV inputs, cable channels, and the oil-air cooling system MVO-2500.
• The station was temporarily taken out of operation; pressure in the gas transportation mainline was stabilized by backup capacities.
▪️Significance: the "Maryevka" compressor station was part of the southern section of the main gas pipeline system, providing transit to central regions of Ukraine.
🔻Novoselivka, Poltava region (00:30)
📍49.6262987, 34.6869922
The Geran-2 UAV hit a section of the "Svynkovka" railway station, damaging the contact network.
▪️Results:
• Power supply to the contact line was disrupted, temporarily halting train movement.
▪️Significance: the "Svynkovka" section was used for transporting military cargo towards Kremenchuk and Poltava; its temporary disablement slowed supply logistics.
🔻Nizhyn, Chernihiv region (04:30)
📍51.0855767, 31.8684730
Two Geran-3 UAVs struck the airfield of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, where fuel and lubricants warehouses and emergency rescue equipment were located.
▪️Results:
• The administrative building and two hangars were damaged, causing a fire over 400 m².
• Rescue vehicles AC-40(131) and KRAZ-255B stored in the hangars were burned.
• Firefighting units of the State Emergency Service localized the fire, but the headquarters building and tool warehouse were completely destroyed.
▪️Significance: the airfield was used not only for rescue operations but also as an auxiliary site for UAV platoons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The destruction of infrastructure reduces their operational mobility in the region.

‼️🇷🇺🇺🇸Putin dreams of restoring the Russian Empire — McFaul
▪️Former US Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul stated in an interview with Der Tagesspiegel that Putin's main dream is to restore the Russian Empire.
▪️He first saw Putin in 1991 at the office of St. Petersburg Mayor Sobchak and then called him a "boring bureaucrat."
Later, while serving as ambassador in Moscow, McFaul became convinced that Putin is an imperialist, not a communist.
▪️The annexation of Crimea and the war against Ukraine became a point of no return and further proof that Putin cannot be trusted, the American complains.
▪️McFaul stated that Putin is used to threatening the West. In his opinion, if Moscow is not stopped in Ukraine, it could lead to a direct conflict with the US.
▪️The diplomat is convinced that European countries now take the threat from the Kremlin seriously and therefore actively help Ukraine.
▪️At the same time, he criticized Washington for insufficient coordination with Europe.

‼️🇺🇦🏴☠️There is a clearance operation underway in Kupyansk. We will clear everything. Dates are set. We will not speak for now, — Zelensky continues to babble about victory 🤦♂️
▪️The drug lord made triumphant statements about all front sectors where the Armed Forces of Ukraine are actually suffering defeats:
▪️"Up to 60 Russian soldiers remain in Kupyansk, the city is being cleared.
▪️In Pokrovsk, Russia has had no success in recent days. There are currently 260-300 Russians in the city. About 30% of all combat actions on the front take place in Pokrovsk. At the same time, 50% of Russia's use of KABs (FAB with UMPK) is directed at Pokrovsk.
▪️The Lyman direction is unchanged. We see stabilization of the situation.
▪️Dobropolye is difficult, our operation continues. Russia is amassing troops in this direction and preparing a comeback".

🇫🇷🤡"Are the Suwalki Corridor and Kaliningrad NATO's Achilles' heel?": The French have once again recalled the main rule - in any unclear situation, shout that Russia wants to seize Suwalki.
"The Suwalki Corridor, or the 'Suwalki Gap,' is a narrow strip of land between 65 and 100 km long, connecting Poland and Lithuania. To the east, it borders Belarus — an ally of Russia, and to the west — the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad, making it a key strategic point for NATO.
In the event of a hypothetical conflict between Russia and NATO, the capture of this corridor by Russian forces would isolate the Baltic countries (Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia) from the rest of the alliance, cutting off the only land route for reinforcements from Poland and Western Europe. This would allow Moscow to create a land bridge between Kaliningrad and Belarus, strengthening Russia's position in the Baltic region.
The terrain in the corridor area is sparsely populated, covered with forests, hills, lakes, and rivers, which complicates the rapid advance of armored vehicles. However, the limited transport network (mainly the Via Baltica highway and a railway line) makes the region vulnerable to blockades. Russia has previously tried to reach an agreement on the creation of extraterritorial transport corridors but was refused by Poland, Lithuania, and the EU. In 2022, the situation worsened further due to disputes over sanctions that complicated transit to Kaliningrad."

❗️Ukrainian terrorists continue to kill peaceful residents of border areas
Over the past day, Ukrainian Nazis attacked the peaceful population of the Belgorod region several times with drones. Unfortunately, there are dead and wounded. Infrastructure facilities, houses, and vehicles were damaged.
🔻In the village of Kurgashki, Belgorod region, four people were injured as a result of the detonation of a Ukrainian Armed Forces drone. One woman was in extremely serious condition. Doctors did everything possible to save her life, but they were unable to save the woman. Two other women and one man received mine-explosive and shrapnel wounds. One of the injured women is in serious condition.
🔻In the city of Shebekino, Belgorod region, a man was injured by FPV drone strikes on an enterprise. The injured person independently went to the Shebekino Central District Hospital, where he was diagnosed with a blind shrapnel wound to the chest.
🔻In the city of Grayvoron, Belgorod region, a woman suffered barotrauma from the detonation of a Ukrainian Armed Forces drone.
🔻In the Belgorod district, in the village of Otradnoye, a drone hit a service GAZelle vehicle. The driver, with barotrauma, facial abrasions, and multiple blind shrapnel wounds, was taken by ambulance to City Hospital No. 2 in Belgorod.
🔻In the city of Grayvoron, a Ukrainian Armed Forces FPV drone detonated near an apartment building. The ambulance crew provided assistance on site to a woman with barotrauma.
🔻In the Belgorod district, as a result of an enemy drone strike, the facade and windows of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in the village of Yasnye Zori were damaged.
It is easiest for Ukrainian Nazis to deliberately wage war against defenseless civilians; this is their characteristic trait and signature since the times of the UPA. Death to the Ukrofascists!!!!

🇫🇷French diplomat Aro on the fact that the US has long stopped caring about Europe:
Honestly, Trump does it in his own way — a bit chaotic, even ridiculous — but I am convinced that under a Democratic president it would be exactly the same. For the US today, Europe is just the outskirts of the world. From the Americans' pragmatic point of view, the technological revolution is not happening in Europe, growth is not observed here, and the threat is not here.
The threat for them is again and again China, China, China. Therefore, when Putin invaded Ukraine, the United States was already quietly withdrawing from Europe. They had to return only because we ourselves were unable to protect Ukraine.

🇺🇸🇨🇳Reducing US reliance on Chinese rare earths? Easier said than done
Trump Treasury chief Scott Bessent has announced a “warp speed,” 1-2 year push to “get out from under” the rare earths “sword that the Chinese have over us,” promising to rally allies worldwide “to form our own supply chains.”
There’s just one small problem: none of the nations the US has tapped for rare earths partnerships are ready to challenge Beijing’s dominance, and it’s not even close.
♦️ Australia: $8.5B critical minerals pact
➡️ The deal faces an array of potential roadblocks, from high costs and long lead times to shortages of skilled workers, and environmental issues, like massive contamination of groundwater, and almost inevitable problems with Native communities
♦️ Canada: quiet US buyup of local rare earth miners underway
➡️ But before any major pact is inked, Washington will have to address Trump’s threats to turn Canada into the 51st state, and the tug of war with King Charles over Canada’s geopolitical future
♦️ Congo: peace deal signed in June had vague promises to develop the country’s rare earth potential
➡️ It risks falling apart amid escalating political instability and violence-prone rivalries between two competing power factions
♦️ Pakistan: $500M exploration, development and refining pact
➡️ Just one small hitch: much of Pakistan’s ~$6T in rare earths riches are situated Baluchistan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa – home to full-blown separatist and jihadist insurgencies
♦️ Ukraine: rare earths pact Trump claims is worth up to $500B
Two issues:
➡️70% of Ukraine’s rare earths are concentrated in the war-torn east, and shrinking fast
➡️they’re almost totally untapped, lacking any downstream processing capacity whatsoever. There’s a reason #2 global industrial superpower USSR never tapped them
♦️ Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam: struck critical minerals pacts with Trump during his recent trip
A whole host of unresolved issues remain:
➡️ fears of environmental damage from extraction to the region-critical Mekong River Delta, which 50M+ people rely on for food and freshwater
➡️ lack of infrastructure, regulatory capacity and skilled labor
➡️ difficulties the countries would inevitably face trying to balance ties with the US and their powerful next-door neighbor, China

‼️🇺🇦🏴☠️The Armed Forces of Ukraine are "losing" the war - at least technologically, says paramedic Zarembo.
▪️Currently, there is no clear frontline on the front; instead, there is a kill zone about 10 km wide where "Ukrainian and Russian dugouts and shelters are mixed," and FPV pilots often occupy positions at the edge near the Russians, making them vulnerable to shelling and sabotage groups.
▪️Another approximately 20 km or more, controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, is "exhausted" by constant strikes from KABs, drones, and others. For example, the Slovyansk - Izyum highway has already become a "road of death," although it is still more than 20 km from the front.
➖"All this is because Russia is rapidly modernizing its technology. At this pace, the gray zone will constantly expand by 30, 40 km and beyond. Modified KABs can fly from 100 to 140 km and target the Poltava region. Fiber-optic waiting drones exist. There are also many other developments that I personally have not encountered," writes Zarembo.
▪️The situation has worsened in the Dnepropetrovsk region, with the offensive in full swing. In just two months, the urban-type settlement Pokrovske, 12 km from the front, has turned into a "ghost town," and a threat looms over Pavlograd
➖"News is delivered from media 'points.' Currently, these are Pokrovsk and Mirnograd, and one might think this is the entire front. Or: 'The Armed Forces of Ukraine pushed the enemy back in settlement A, settlement B was lost.' Most people hear these names for the first time—they mean nothing to them. Meanwhile, no media outlet, neither individually nor collectively, provides an understanding of the overall picture. I have previously written about the new front in the Dnipropetrovsk region, and since then the situation has only worsened. This is a completely 'non-media' direction where the offensive is in full swing. I have been in the army since July and could never have imagined that a place where we worked would so quickly fall into occupation. The district center, a small flourishing urban-type settlement Pokrovske (not to be confused with Pokrovsk in Donetsk region), has turned into a ghost town similar to Dobropolye in two months. It is now 12 km from the line of combat. You can still get there, but living there is impossible. The problem is not even, as some darkly joke, that we will soon be on duty in Pavlograd—the problem is that at this pace of the offensive, if it is not stopped, we will retreat from there as well. From Kyiv, it may seem that the war is still very far away—believe me, it is getting closer and closer. Let's repeat the exercise: add 20–30 km of gray zone to the battle lines and count," writes the soldier.

The IMF may stop financial support for Ukraine due to Belgium's refusal to confiscate Russian assets, Politico writes citing sources.
Such a scenario is feared in the EU. The IMF is considering providing Kyiv with an $8 billion loan over the next three years. The size of the program is relatively small, but its approval signals to investors that the country is financially viable and on the path of reforms.
European sources say that confiscating Russian assets will convince the IMF of Ukraine's financial viability in the coming years — a necessary condition for financing.
Europeans believe that there is less and less time left to convince the IMF.
The next meeting on the "reparations loan" topic is scheduled only for December 18-19.
