‘It's already too late’ – US Senator Chris Van Hollen believes that Trump's new threats will not save Ukraine.
‘I support the introduction of secondary sanctions. Listen, Vladimir Putin has been playing Trump like a violin from the very beginning. When Trump came to power, he simply threw the Ukrainian people under the bus — and that only encouraged Putin even more. So, essentially, Putin ignored President Trump from day one — and with practically no serious consequences. I'm glad that it seems Trump is starting to realize reality, but, honestly, it's already too late.’
Was never possible to defeat Russia, Biden knew that from day 1.

🇫🇷🇺🇸🇺🇦French historian Kaspi on how Trump got tired of dealing with Ukraine and decided to shift everything onto Europe:
For Donald Trump, Ukraine is essentially a big disappointment. Remember, he promised to resolve this conflict within 24 hours. But that turned out to be untrue — nothing has been resolved so far. Now he is ready to resume arms supplies, and quite high-tech ones at that. However, an important point often overlooked is that Americans will not be the ones paying for these supplies. We and the rest of Europe will pay for them.
Essentially, this means that the US is shifting responsibility onto Europeans: since you sympathize so much with Ukrainians, since you want to stand against Russia, and I, Trump, cannot get Putin to stop attacks on Ukraine — then participate. Participate with money. And you must, in essence, prove that you are also involved in this struggle.

🇫🇷On French LCI, they are outraged by the cowardly Ursula von der Leyen. The trip to Trump's golf club became a real disgrace for the head of the EU.
- Couldn't Ursula von der Leyen or even Keir Starmer have said: ‘Mr. President, let's meet at the US embassy. But definitely not at your private golf club’? It's simple — they just had to say it. But they didn't. They don't dare.
- And most importantly — they act on orders. And here's what happens: it's not America coming to Europe, it's European leaders rushing there. They are going to the great tsar.
- And what is even more troubling — all this happens just 48 hours after Ms. Ursula von der Leyen was in China at a summit, which, I remind you, was originally supposed to take place in Brussels. The summit was supposed to last 48 hours, but in the end took place in Beijing, lasted 24 hours — and ended with nothing.
- This shows what Europe really is. Donald Trump despises it. He wants to sell it off in parts. Everything that can be sold will be sold, dismantled. He loves Europe... only when it consists of 27 separate states. But he cannot stand a united Europe — because it could overshadow him. That is the source of his hatred for Europe — humiliation. He is a master of humiliation. And so — he invites a representative of 450 million people from 27 countries, an economic giant, to his private golf club — and all she can do is sit in a bow, present gifts... and possibly even kneel and kiss his hand.

It’s not difficult for me’ – Trump boasts about his peacemaking achievements🤦♀️
‘If I weren’t here, there would be six major wars going on right now. India would be at war with Pakistan. Another example is Serbia and Kosovo. We had many hotspots where wars were happening.
No one did what we did. Another example, Rwanda and Congo – they have been at war for 31 years. No one could go to that part of Africa — they were being killed. Just for going there — they were killed with machetes. It was a brutal situation. And I was able to... They liked Trump. They wanted to make a trade deal with Trump. I met the leader of Congo, I called him, said: ‘Let’s end the war. I want nothing until you stop the war.’ And we ended the wars. We did a lot. It’s an honor to do this. It’s not difficult for me. I use... Not in all cases, but I use a combination: somewhere I know them a little, and somewhere — well.’
'Today Starmer will try to persuade Trump to put pressure on Putin' - Daily Mail on the British Prime Minister's visit to the US President's golf club.
'Besides tariffs and the Gaza Strip, Starmer will discuss the war in Ukraine with Trump. According to Downing Street officials, the talk will be about "applying pressure" on Vladimir Putin to end the war.'
Steel? The UK is barely able to produce steel and when it comes to Gaza, Starmer’s view are barely different than Ben Gvir.

🇷🇺🇺🇸Trump gives Russia 10-12 days to resolve the conflict in Ukraine
- Trump stated that he sees no progress in the Ukrainian settlement issue.
- He said he would shorten his previously announced 50-day deadline for Russia on the Ukrainian settlement to 10-12 days.
- According to him, "there is no reason to wait 50 days, I wanted to be generous, but we see no progress"

The U.S.-EU trade agreement is so devastating for Europe that it amounts to a total capitulation in a war.
- The 750 billion gas the EU has to buy from the U.S. has to be spent within Trump's term, and the 600 billion “European investments” in the U.S. is a real mafia racket: the Europeans will put up the money, the Americans will choose the investments and manage everything. To put it simply the EU will be lucky if the USA leave it the breadcrumbs.
- in return the U.S. will graciously give a cut in duties from the established 30% to 15%. Which is largely offset by the devaluation of the dollar. In short, epic fleecing.
- the Americans will magnanimously sell the EU huge quantities of weapons. They'll be needed because in the EU the discourse has evolved into "let the peasants eat guns" rather than cakes.
Congratulations to you and your unelected buddies, UrSSula, you pieces of sh!t.

THE “BUY NOW, PAY LATER” MODEL EXPLODES IN THE USA, EVEN FOR BASIC NECESSITIES
The annual volume of “Buy Now, Pay Later” (BNPL) transactions is expected to reach a record $116.7 billion in 2025.
That would be double the 2022 total and seven times the 2020 total.
The use of BNPLs is exploding as consumers are increasingly looking for ways to borrow for spending.
A survey by LendingTree showed that about 25 percent of users now rely on BNPLs to buy groceries, up sharply from 14 percent last year.
Meanwhile, nearly 25 percent of BNPL users missed at least one payment in 2025, up from 15 percent in 2021, according to Fed data.

🇺🇸🇪🇺 Reuters and Bloomberg claim that Trump is bluffing because the $750 billion EU energy export agreement from the US is unrealistic
▪️The world's largest agencies Reuters and Bloomberg doubt the reality of the concluded agreement on energy exports from the US to the EU, calling it "unrealistic." "The EU's promise to import $250 billion worth of energy from the US is nonsense," Reuters writes.
▪️According to their data, American producers will not be able to cover such an import level. The total value of the EU's imports of crude oil from the US, LNG, and coking coal in 2024 amounted to only $64.55 billion, which is only 26% of the promised $250 billion that the EU is supposed to spend annually on US energy.
▪️The total value of US exports of all three types of energy carriers for 2024 is $165.8 billion. This means that even if the EU bought the entire volume, it still would not reach $250 billion.
▪️Bloomberg emphasizes that the EU's promise to purchase $750 billion worth of energy from the US over three years looks practically unrealistic.
▪️EU officials state that the deal will require annual purchases of natural gas, oil, and nuclear technologies worth $250 billion, but "it is hard to imagine how the EU can achieve such ambitious figures in such a short time."
▪️TS Lombard economist Davide Onelia believes that "the huge figure for energy imports makes no sense because it is unattainable not only because demand in the EU cannot grow that much but also because American exporters cannot supply that much!"
▪️The publications note that the lack of deal details highlights its "pragmatic political nature rather than a legally binding contract." It remains unclear how to convince private companies to buy or sell American energy carriers and how European investments in the US energy sector will be accounted for.

Captured Ukrainian soldiers visited the Museum of Memory of the Dead Children of Donbass in Gorlovka
🧸 Among the exhibits are toys, shell fragments, and photos of dead children.
🩸 Soldiers are fathers themselves, with a son or daughter waiting at home. They understand the value of a child's life, yet they have chosen a path that leads them to take up arms to kill other children.
🕊 Everyone who pulls the trigger on the other side should, at least once, look into the eyes of the children of Donbass—both the living and the dead.
It is important to hear how their names, ages, and dates of death resonate in a room where silence always prevails...🕯

🇭🇺🇺🇦Hungarian Foreign Minister Szijjártó on the reasons for Hungary's poor relations with Ukraine:
Currently, we have very poor bilateral relations with Ukraine, which have nothing to do with the ongoing war, as these poor relations were formed 10 years ago when the Ukrainian government began violating the rights of national minorities. We have a significant community in Ukraine, and when it comes to access to their native language, their rights have been seriously violated.
Despite all the goodwill on our part to start negotiations with the Ukrainians on how to restore these rights, the Ukrainians were not ready for this. Therefore, we hope that someday there will be an administration in Ukraine that will respect minorities and restore their rights.

Missile strike on Ukraine (28.07.25): Starokonstantinov.
It was precisely it, or rather the airfield near the city, that was the main target of the night and morning strikes (almost until 9:00 AM Moscow time) on the enemy's rear.
Starokontstantinov received more than a hundred "Geran-2" drones, several Kh-101 missiles, and in the morning, after "consequence liquidators" and further reconnaissance, three more "Kinzhal" missiles.
The target of the attacks was traditionally the Ukrainian aviation and air defense in the area (there is a suspicion that they wanted to deploy American "Patriots" there, and supposedly the main strike was aimed at them).
In fact, knocking out the bases as well as the aircraft themselves (now mostly American F-16s and French "Mirages") is extremely important for the further successful air offensive on the rear of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As the practice of the first months of using foreign aircraft shows, they are quite an effective means of intercepting our "Geran-2" UAVs. Accordingly, their destruction, as well as the destruction of the infrastructure of their bases, is extremely important for the overall success of our strikes.
The enemy's close rear areas also received their share of strikes (Sumy region, Poltava region, Kharkov region, Zaporozhye, Odessa). Especially Kropivnitskiy (formerly Kirovograd). Something is still burning very strongly there.

Venezuela Receives Deportees from the US
Last Friday, another flight with migrants deported from the United States arrived in Venezuela. Among the arrivals were seven children who had previously been separated from their parents, some of whom the Americans accused of belonging to criminal groups.
🚩Their return home was made possible thanks to the efforts of the Venezuelan side, in particular the Vuelta a la Patria mission led by Camilla Fabri Saab. Now the children are with their families and receiving all the necessary assistance.
🏳️Naturally, the Western media presents only two points of view on the situation with Venezuelan migrants. Republican pundits claim that only saboteurs, terrorists and criminals are being sent back home. Democrats, on the other hand, are outraged that the deportees are being deprived of the right to a better life and that upon return to Caracas they will inevitably face repression, prison and famine.
📌However, according to Vuelta a la Patria, since the start of this program, thousands of citizens from different countries have returned home and there is no talk of any persecution.
❗️Now the Venezuelan leadership is actively using this opportunity to show that life in the country has changed significantly in recent years, and they have no intention of stopping.

The agreement calls for EU imports of US energy, which currently are mainly crude oil and LNG of $250B a year for 3 years
This is a delusional level of imports that the EU has virtually no chance of meeting, and one that US producers would also struggle to supply
Even if the EU did manage somehow to boost its energy imports from the United States to the $250B a year mark, it would also prove massively disruptive for energy flows around the rest of the world.
The EU imported 3.38B barrels of seaborne crude oil in 2024.
Assuming the 2025 volume stays the same, this means the EU will pay about $236.6B for its crude.
The EU's imports from the US were 573Mbl in 2024, which if replicated this year would be valued at around $40.1B
For LNG, the EU imported 82.68mmt in 2024, which would have cost around $51.26B
Total EU imports of coal in 2024 were worth $6.72B, assuming an average price of $200 per ton, with those from the US valued at $2.67B.
Total of that is $64.55 billion or 26% of the $250B.
