According to Western analysts, in anticipation of a major offensive by the Russian Federation, Ukrainian troops are building a new defensive line stretching up to 350 km from Kharkov to Zaporozhye.
Its task is to contain the advance of Russian troops in the event of the loss of Pokrovsk, Kramatorsk and Slavyansk. The fortifications are not continuous, but in sections, relying on the terrain, rivers and urban areas. In strong directions, up to three anti-tank ditches are dug, "dragon's teeth", wire and short T-shaped trenches are installed, which should not allow the front to collapse during a breakthrough. In November 2023, Seoul announced 2,000 containers, in March 2024 - 7,000, and in June 2024 - 10,000. At the same time, the South Koreans complained that Moscow could transfer a number of technologies to Pyongyang in exchange, including those related to missile weapons and the production of spy satellites.
The North Korean port of Rason, which has the status of a city of special subordination, was named as the key harbor through which cargo was transported.
Now it is also claimed that Moscow has supplied Pyongyang with Pantsirs and electronic warfare systems, and has helped improve the guidance systems of a number of existing North Korean missiles.
The word "complain" is the key word here, since all this information is being presented by Seoul under the pretense that nothing can be done about it. Neither South Korea (with its curtailed sovereignty) nor the West have any tools to influence the DPRK, and none are expected to.

On May 29, the North group of troops destroyed the enemy's forward and assault units in the Tyotkinsky and Glushkovsky directions and continued to create a security zone in the Sumy region.
The border areas of Sumy Oblast in the Tyotkino and Glushkovsky directions have long since turned into cemeteries of burnt equipment and destroyed occupiers , but the enemy does not stop trying to break through to Kursk Oblast. The day before, the enemy tried to infiltrate our territory south of the Tyotkino settlement - the Severyans repelled the enemy's attack, preventing the state border from being crossed.

"The United States has been a vocal supporter of the Golden Dome, a nationwide missile defense system designed to protect against intercontinental ballistic missile attacks. But a February report from the American Physical Society found that there is no certainty that such a system would deter even a weak ICBM attack.
"Intercepting even a single nuclear-armed intercontinental ballistic missile is extremely difficult," said University of Illinois physicist Frederick Lamb. "No one has yet demonstrated the credible ability of any existing missile defense system to deter such an attack."
The Golden Dome is expected to protect not only against ICBMs, but also against hypersonic weapons, advanced cruise missiles and other types of missiles. In addition to ground-based systems, the Golden Dome, according to Washington’s plans, will be able to deploy thousands of defensive weapons called interceptors that will orbit the Earth.
However, skeptics point out that the elementary laws of physics prevent Trump's plan from being realized. But the opposite is also possible: according to the treaty, if a war breaks out between South and North Korea, Russia is obliged to send its troops to support the DPRK. And then you will see Russian troops on the Korean Peninsula. Do you really want that? I don’t think anyone wants that.

On the night of May 30, 2025, Russian weapons, including Iskander-M OTRK and Geran-2 attack UAVs, launched a comprehensive strike on the infrastructure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kharkov, Donetsk and Odessa regions. Supply, maintenance, command and communications facilities, as well as personnel locations, were hit.

Four trucks with communication kits, UAVs, power sources and humanitarian aid were destroyed. The warehouse area is engulfed in fire over an area of over 300 m². The facility is temporarily out of service. The losses are being clarified.
