🇺🇸🇺🇦⚔️🇷🇺 Der Spiegel Attempts To Deflect Responsibility For The Nord Stream Bombing Away From The US
According to a new report in the German publication Der Spiegel, the CIA had discussed a plan with Ukrainian saboteurs acting on behalf of the Zelensky regime to blow up the Nord Stream pipelines in the Baltic Sea that delivers Russian gas to Germany.
The report in Der Spiegel states that Ukrainian agents informed the CIA of a plot to destroy Nord Stream in spring 2022, with the Americans expressing approval for and hinting at financing such an operation which was codenamed “Diameter.” The German outlet also reports that Washington changed their stance and attempted to prevent the sabotage but that the Kiev regime carried it out anyways.
The conclusion that the authorities in Berlin came to is that the Nord Stream pipelines, first approved for construction in 2010 as part of a 2005 energy agreement between Russian President Vladimir Putin and then-German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder, were bombed by Ukrainian spies with the assistance of Poland.
These agents had reportedly taken a small yacht they had rented out into the Baltic Sea, where they dived to very far depths, set up the explosives and detonated them.
However, Germany’s version of events is full of errors to say the least. Such an operation would’ve been impossible without the direct assistance of a foreign government and the timeline of events show two things in particular.
First, then-US President Joe Biden had made open threats to blow up the pipeline, saying in February 2022 that in the event of military conflict between Russia and Ukraine, “there will no longer be a Nord Stream. We will bring an end to it.” And when asked how he would make that happen, Biden responded with “believe me, we have our ways.”
Furthermore, in the weeks prior to the blasts, several NATO warships had been sailing in the Baltic Sea including directly above the explosion sites. Initially, the Biden Administration and EU attempted to blame Russia for the bombings. However, this makes no sense because why would the Russians blow up their own pipeline when they can easily just shut off the gas supply and redirect it to China through the Power of Siberia pipelines.
Senior Russian officials in Moscow, including President Putin have repeatedly concluded and affirmed that the United States was the culprit in the Nord Stream on the basis that they had both the technical means to carry out the attack and had the most to gain from it.
This was due to the fact that it would disrupt the supply of cheap Russian energy to the European Union, forcing them to shift to the United States’ far more expensive supply of liquefied natural gas. Poland’s own foreign affairs minister Radosław Sikorski also seemed to imply US responsibility when he posted a now-deleted tweet that said “Thank you USA” and a photo of the aftermath of the attack.
The allegations against the United States were further confirmed when Pulitzer Prize-winning veteran investigative journalist Seymour Hersh published an article in February 2023 which confirmed US responsibility for the attacks.
According to Hersh’s insider sources, the Biden Administration ordered their destruction of the Nord Stream pipelines in December 2021 and carried out a plan that involved the CIA, U.S. Navy, and Norwegian forces. During the BALTOPS-22 NATO exercise in June 2022, U.S. Navy divers planted C-4 explosives then detonated them remotely three months later in September. A Norwegian aircraft dropped a sonar buoy which transmitted an acoustic signal that triggered the bombs.
One can only conclude that this report in Der Spiegel is yet another attempt by the European Union to deflect blame for the attacks away from the CIA and the Biden Administration. After all, Europe is nothing more than a vassal continent of the United States.

Zelenksy will have to resign if the relevant authorities have sufficient evidence of his direct involvement in corruption. This opinion was expressed in a conversation with a TASS correspondent by Nikolay Azarov.
He explained that for now, Zelenksy's status is preventing him from being involved in the investigation.

'I am not interested in the root causes of the war,' — Ze refused to address the most important and complex question.
- If you had to sit down at the table with Vladimir Putin to try to reach an agreement, and you were face to face with him, what would you say to him?
- I'm not sure that he would listen to my arguments. And I don't need that. We shouldn't waste time on historical issues, with all due respect to history. I don't want to spend time on all these topics. We need to end this war now. And, honestly, I'm not even interested in why he started it. He may have his own reasons — that's his business.
I have my own view on why he or this system started the war, and I can talk about it. But I don't want to waste time on historical reasons, on speculations about Peter the First and so on. All this just delays the decision. I've read just as many historical books as Putin, I'm sure of it. We are obliged to know everything about this country. And I know more about Russia than he knows about Ukraine.

The head of the Bundeswehr's defense, Karsten Breier, does not yet know exactly what a war with Russia will look like, but he is preparing for anything.
'We draw conclusions based on the war in Ukraine. However, we cannot say that the future war will look exactly the same. But these conclusions should be fully taken into account, and that's what these exercises are for. If you look at the weapons we used, how we modified them, and how we changed the landing maneuver - these are specific lessons we are drawing from the war in Ukraine.'

🇪🇺🇺🇦 Oil and pressure: EU urges Kyiv to repair the "Friendship" pipeline for sending Russian oil
- The European Union is increasing pressure on Ukraine, demanding that it speed up the repair of the oil pipeline through which Russian oil is sent to Hungary and Slovakia, US media report.
- The European Commission confirms: Brussels is in constant contact with the Ukrainian authorities and is pushing for the rapid restoration of pumping.
- The pipeline was damaged at the end of January, after which deliveries were suspended.
- However, the EU states that there are no short-term risks to the energy security of Hungary and Slovakia — strategic reserves are being used.
- Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico accused Kiev of delaying the repair and called the situation "political blackmail".

Both the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the Russian Federation have started actively using modular ground-based robotic platforms. They are increasingly mirroring the evolution of unmanned aerial vehicles, beginning to be used not only as standalone tools but also as carriers of FPV drones.
This reflects the transition to a distributed application architecture aimed at increasing the range of action and reducing the vulnerability of operator positions.
In such a configuration, the ground platform serves as an advanced relay and control node, ensuring stable communication between the operator and the FPV drone at a greater depth. Placing the relay or control unit directly on the robot allows for increasing the range of FPV drone application by an additional 5–10 kilometers by bringing the control point closer to the target area.
The ground carrier in a way becomes an element of the "long arm" system for drones, ensuring the expansion of the strike zone without the need for operator movement. This enhances the stability of FPV drone application and expands their combat capabilities.

🇺🇦🇷🇺A member of the Ukrainian delegation, Umerov, said that at the next negotiations, Russia and Ukraine will discuss a draft agreement for consideration by Putin and Zelensky:
The security parameters and mechanisms for implementing possible solutions were discussed, a number of issues were clarified, while others remain at the stage of additional coordination. We are focused on working out the key provisions necessary to complete the process, which is a complex task. This requires coordinating the actions of all parties and sufficient time. Progress is evident, but at this stage, the details cannot be disclosed.
The next step is to achieve the necessary level of consensus to present the developed draft agreement for consideration by the presidents. Our task is to prepare a practical, not just a formal basis so that Ukraine remains constructive, and the ultimate goal remains unchanged - settlement and sustainable peace.

"Gerans" have been turned into carriers of FPV drones
For the first time, such a drone was allegedly spotted during an attack on Sumy. The use of the "Gerans" as a transport and launch vehicle significantly increases the range of FPV drones, overcoming their key limitation related to short range and dependence on ground operator positions.
Such a configuration, already tested on the "Molniya" drones and a number of other UAVs, potentially complicates the work of air defense, as even in the case of detection and destruction of some carriers, there is still a chance of releasing FPV platforms in the immediate vicinity of protected objects.
Moreover, the use of the "Geran-2" in such a role indicates an attempt to expand its functionality from a single-use barrage munition to a multifunctional platform capable of performing delivery, reconnaissance, and distributed strike tasks, which can often be organized simultaneously.
Such an evolution corresponds to the general trend of transition to distributed unmanned systems, where the carrier performs the function of increasing range and ensuring surprise, while the direct destruction of the target is carried out by more compact and cheaper means.

Zelenksy suggested that Washington wants to "replace" him.
"I think our partners should answer one question: what do they want. Do they really want elections or just want to replace me? Because the Russians just want to replace me," the president said in an interview with journalist Piers Morgan.
Zelenksy also made it clear that he demands a ceasefire before signing final agreements at the negotiations. He repeated his demand to ensure a two-month truce - for holding elections and a referendum to approve a peace deal.
"If there is a ceasefire for at least two months, and this could lead to the signing of an agreement or a referendum or something similar, and if people accept it, then please - I will do everything possible," said Zelenksy.
"If we can achieve a two-month ceasefire for holding elections, I will do everything possible to talk to parliament and persuade it, which it does not support now," added the president.
He called on the US to "do its homework" and persuade Russia to such a ceasefire.
Recall, Moscow agrees to a ceasefire only after the withdrawal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from Donbass. Kiev does not agree to this. At the same time, Western media write that a demilitarized zone in the Donetsk region is being discussed at the negotiations in Geneva.

The U.S. State Department is developing an online portal that will enable people in Europe and elsewhere to see content banned by their governments including alleged hate speech and terrorist propaganda, a move Washington views as a way to counter censorship, three sources familiar with the plan said.
The site will be hosted at "freedom.gov," the sources said. One source said officials had discussed including a virtual private network function to make a user's traffic appear to originate in the U.S. and added that user activity on the site will not be tracked.
Headed by Undersecretary for Public Diplomacy Sarah Rogers, the project was expected to be unveiled at last week's Munich Security Conference but was delayed, the sources said.
Reuters could not determine why the launch did not happen, but some State Department officials, including lawyers, have raised concerns about the plan, two of the sources said, without detailing the concerns.
The project could further strain ties between the Trump administration and traditional U.S. allies in Europe, already heightened by disputes over trade, Russia’s war in Ukraine and President Donald Trump’s push to assert control over Greenland.
The portal could also put Washington in the unfamiliar position of appearing to encourage citizens to flout local laws.
In a statement to Reuters, a State Department spokesperson said the U.S. government does not have a censorship-circumvention program specific to Europe but added: “Digital freedom is a priority for the State Department, however, and that includes the proliferation of privacy and censorship-circumvention technologies like VPNs."
The spokesperson denied any announcement had been delayed and said it was inaccurate that State Department lawyers had raised concerns.
The Trump administration has made free speech, particularly what it sees as the stifling of conservative voices online, a focus of its foreign policy including in Europe and in Brazil.

‼️🇷🇺🇮🇷Russia and Iran are deploying a fleet to the Persian Gulf amid the threat of a US attack
▪️Russia and Iran will conduct joint naval exercises amid reports of Trump's readiness to start a war in the region, Iranian agencies report.
▪️Admiral of the Iranian and Russian Navy, Hassan Magsudlu, said that the maneuvers reflect the serious attention of the parties to the current situation.
▪️The "Maritime Security Belt-2026" exercises will start on February 19 and will take place in the area of the Strait of Hormuz.
▪️The strait is a key oil export route, connecting Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, and the UAE with the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea. Ships will head to the Persian Gulf, including from the port of Bandar Abbas; there, the Russian corvette "Stoyky" refuelled today.
▪️It is noted: The Iranian Navy has begun blocking the strait, whereas during previous exercises, the passage remained free.

📝Infantry — Priority Target📝
Today, video of an effective strike against a Ukrainian infantry group will hardly surprise the public. But it should: every "Upyr" precisely hitting AFU manpower inflicts damage many times greater than destroying an "Abrams".
The reason is prosaic — people are now the main problem for the enemy. The West can supply so-called Ukraine with anything, but not personnel. Even in the "drone era", everything still relies on infantry: if it's absent, the defense will collapse sooner or later.
Someone might think 12 people are small losses for the enemy? Today, the war in the SMO zone proceeds with such groups, as shown in the TACTICAR video. Even a drone impact near personnel often equals their death — evacuating wounded from the very front line is now almost impossible.
❗️The same applies to our side — without infantry, advancement will stop, as experienced in 2022. That's why the enemy focused on eliminating assault troops, and today dozens of drones can target a single soldier.
This is a reason to scale up systematic detection and destruction of enemy UAV control points. Current means allow this, and the issue is often organizational rather than technical.
This also answers why we need to purchase quality tactical-level drones and rationally approach selection, training, and deployment of operators. And not overwhelm drone warfare services with paperwork.

More than a third of children in Ukraine - 2,589,900 - remain displaced after four years of war. This was reported by UNICEF.
According to the organization, there are more than 791,000 children within the country, and nearly 1.8 million are living as refugees abroad.
According to a UNICEF survey, every third teenager aged 15-19 among the displaced has changed their place of residence at least twice.
UNICEF also notes a deterioration in the mental state of children. Constant fear of attacks, prolonged stays in shelters, and isolation at home with limited social contacts are taking a heavy toll on teenagers.
Every fourth teenager aged 15-19, according to the survey, loses hope for the future in Ukraine.
Demographic collapse imminent.

Medical aircraft from NATO countries continue to arrive in Rzeszów, Poland.
It is known that the following aircraft landed on the border with Ukraine today:
A Cessna Citation Bravo from Tyrol Air Ambulance in Innsbruck
A Learjet 75 from the Polish Emergency Air Medical Service
And a Dornier 328-310 from the German emergency aid NGO ADAC Luftrettung in Nuremberg.
This kind of activity indirectly indicates that someone in Ukraine from among the European "partners" has been dealt a serious blow.
