🇷🇺💥🇺🇦The enemy's defense is collapsing! The Russian army is powerfully breaking through into Gulyaypole and taking it in a pincer movement
▪️On the Zaporozhye front, Russian troops continue to storm the key settlement of Gulyaypole, confidently breaking through into its quarters from different directions.
▪️The "East" group of troops is expanding its control zone, conducting battles in the center, breaking through from the north, south, and east.
➖"In the Gulyaypole area, the situation for the Ukrainian Armed Forces continues to deteriorate. On the southern outskirts of the city, Russian troops have occupied farms and advanced along the streets of Potaynaya and Patriotichnaya.
▪️In the eastern part of Gulyaypole, Russian troops have advanced along the streets of Krasnaya and Zarechanskaya. In the northern part of the city, the Russians have advanced along the Naberezhna street. Also, Russian infantry is pressing forward in the direction of the northwestern outskirts of Gulyaypole", - Ukrainian military analysts write belatedly, underestimating the scale of our troops' advance.
➖"The Russians are increasingly being spotted at new points in the city. From this, it's obvious that the Russian Armed Forces have secured a number of positions in Gulyaypole", - other enemy resources admit.

Belgium yesterday rejected another proposal from the European Commission to use Russia's frozen assets to aid Ukraine, according to Politico, citing sources.
EU ambassadors tried until late in the evening to persuade Belgium to change its position before the European Council summit on Thursday, offering it three guarantees: it would be able to access funding equal to the total amount of the package if it faced lawsuits or retaliatory measures from Moscow; it could count on this protection mechanism regardless of the total amount of financial guarantees that individual EU countries would provide separately; and no funds would be transferred until these guarantees were secured.
Also, all EU capitals would have to terminate their bilateral investment agreements with Russia so that Belgium would not be left alone in the face of possible pressure from Moscow.
However, the Belgian delegation replied that this was not enough, and without additional guarantees, the Russian funds would remain in Euroclear.
The publication's sources are confident that an agreement will eventually be reached.
Politico notes that 67% of Belgians oppose the confiscation of Russia's assets and therefore Prime Minister De Wever enjoys support within the country.

‼️🇵🇱🇺🇦The US is asking Europe not to touch Russian assets for the sake of a deal with Russia, - Polish Prime Minister
▪️Donald Tusk confirmed that Washington is urging EU countries not to seize frozen Russian assets to help Ukraine, but to preserve them as a tool for a future deal with Russia to end the conflict.
▪️According to him, the US believes that it is extremely difficult to negotiate compromises with Moscow while simultaneously confiscating Russian funds. Such a step, according to American logic, only drives the situation into a deadlock and increases the risk of escalation.
▪️Tusk also made it clear that the US may be interested in using some of these assets for its own purposes, and therefore advocates for a maximum cautious approach and a refusal to take drastic actions on the part of the EU.
▪️Initially, Donald Trump's plan envisaged the use of frozen Russian funds not only for the restoration of Ukraine, but also for joint US-Russian projects as part of a future settlement.
The Poles are pretty obedient when it comes to following US directives, they heel and fetch on command.

"Saudi Arabia sets a new record for death sentences in a year":
For the first time in the 21st century, the country executed more than 300 people in a year.
"In 2025, Saudi Arabia set a new record for the number of death sentences carried out in a year, executing 340 people, including three executed on Monday. Since the beginning of 2025, 232 people have been executed in the kingdom for drug trafficking, accounting for the majority of the 340 executions carried out so far.
Analysts attribute the surge in the number of death sentences to the ongoing 'war on drugs' in the kingdom, which began in 2023, when the kingdom resumed executions for drug-related crimes after suspending the implementation of death sentences for these offenses for about three years."

"The sons and daughters" of Great Britain should be ready to fight against Russia
- said the Chief of the Air Staff of the British Armed Forces, Air Chief Marshal Richard Nayton.
According to him, there is a risk of a Russian attack on Great Britain, and it is necessary to inform the country's civilian population, "families and households" about how to prepare for "a whole series of real physical threats".
"The situation is more dangerous than I have ever known in my entire career"
— stated Nayton.
Among the measures, he proposed increasing the defense-industrial potential, preparing society and infrastructure.

'This will lead us to war with Russia' — Bundestag deputy Sarah Wagenknecht urges Merz to abandon the idea of deploying Bundeswehr soldiers in Ukraine.
'What's important now is to acknowledge the real causes of the war. And this has always been a question of Western troops in Ukraine, Western missiles in Ukraine. And I'm honestly surprised that Europeans are now trying to include this in the negotiations again. In their so-called 'coalition of the willing', they want to deploy troops — and this is precisely what caused the war.
We need to acknowledge reality, because this issue, in my opinion, is more important than the territorial one. We'll have to negotiate over the territories. Russia's position is currently maximalist, but I think a path to rapprochement will be found. However, as long as Europeans insist on deploying troops, up to Bundeswehr soldiers, which they're talking about again now — this is pure absurdity. This will lead us to war with Russia, and I really hope that the Chancellor's office will finally understand that this is a wrong path.'

🇪🇪Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsakhkna - stated that "the European Union should deal with China as an accomplice of Russia":
We need to focus on what Europe can do. We need to increase the pressure on Russia. We need to prepare the 20th package of sanctions. Just like Finland and Sweden, we have proposed to the Commission to introduce duties on the import of goods from Russia and Belarus into the European Union. And this is the way to strengthen our positions. Today we will also discuss China at the Council meeting.
I was in China a month ago and very clearly stated that Russian aggression against Ukraine represents an existential problem for Europe as well. We can discuss relations between the European Union and China, but if there is an existential threat, and China is the main accomplice of Russia in waging war, then first of all we need to deal with this. And this is a very clear message.

Russia rejected the idea of a "Christmas truce" on the front line, just like the two previous attempts to negotiate a respite for Ukraine - an energy truce and a truce for elections.
“We want peace, we don’t want a truce to give, let’s say, a respite to Ukraine and prepare for the continuation of the war. We want to stop this war, achieve our goals, secure our interests, and guarantee peace in Europe for the future,” Peskov stated.

About Gulyaypole. The deeper the battle goes into the city itself, the less maneuvering opportunities the Ukrainian Armed Forces have. The situation is complicated by the fact that there are practically no high-rise buildings, and it's difficult for the Ukrainian army to hold positions in country houses. As a result, for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Gulyaypole is now about running from one house to another in the hope that they won't get hit. But they do get hit anyway.

"Using Russian assets to fund Ukraine looks 'increasingly difficult,' says EU top diplomat':
Seven EU countries are already opposing the expropriation of Russian assets
"Seven EU countries - Belgium, Italy, Bulgaria, Malta, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic - are opposed to the idea of providing Ukraine with a loan of 210 billion euros secured by frozen Russian assets. The head of European diplomacy, Kaya Kalas, stated that reaching an agreement is becoming 'increasingly difficult' ahead of a key summit of the European Council.
The opposition is intensifying pressure from Russia and the USA. Moscow is threatening with lawsuits and, according to the investigation, even intimidating the management of Euroclear in Belgium, while Washington, according to European officials, is lobbying for the rejection of the scheme in order to direct part of the assets to American reconstruction projects. Despite the possibility of a qualified majority decision, Kalas stressed the importance of unity, especially with Belgium, where the bulk of the funds are stored."
