🇩🇪🤡Bundestag deputy Kizevetter accused Russia of "dragging the West into the war":
Russia considers us a party to the conflict, and drone flights over Germany have also been recorded. Just a few weeks ago, we learned that in the first 8 months of this year, more than 500 drone flights from Russian ships over critically important German infrastructure were detected. We are dealing with acts of sabotage. That is, Russia sees us as an enemy, while Ukraine wants to become part of the West, part of the European Union and NATO, and effectively contribute to our security system. Therefore, I do not believe that we will not be drawn into this war. Russia wants to involve us, and we must be able to defend ourselves and support Ukraine.
[However, this is not yet direct military involvement] Yes, this is a violation of airspace that 100-200 years ago would have caused a powerful military response. By the way, Russia deployed nuclear missiles in 2016, but we consciously did not react.
We have not carried out any modernizations of either conventional or nuclear weapons. That is, we have always tried to accommodate Russia. But now, it seems to me, our patience is running out. We must, for example, as proposed by the chairman of the defense committee, help organize air defense. This is possible within the framework of the UN Charter.

I should add I am noticing a lot of messaging about Chinese parts again. European state media (propaganda) outlets like DW etc running pieces on Chinese supplied parts etc.
Looks like some sort of coordinated messaging is going on to pressure China or at least paint them as a baddie. It's likely stemming from the number of long-range drones Russia is producing and the dramatic upscaling of Russia's battlefield drone usage (Interceptors, FPVs, Bomber drones, recon drones).
The reality as we've demonstrated is that Ukraine is even more dependent on Chinese drones and Chinese drone parts. This progression towards drones from both sides has placed China in a powerful position in this war. Ukrainian statistics had China supplying 89% of Ukraine's drones and drone parts, while Ukrainians believe Russia's dependency is around 60%. If one side had even a 50% reduction in drones the effects on the battlefield would be massive.
Though I will note that reporting is neglecting to mention how vital a supplier China is to Ukraine, but that is why these stories are more propaganda then attempts to be informative.

Photos of the Geran-3, brought down allegedly by electronic warfare means, are being published by Ukrainian media.
It is reported that the Chinese turbojet engine Telefly JT80 accelerates it to 300-370 km/h. Flight range up to 1000 km.
I question if it was brought down by EW or if it just crashed, the modern GNSS modules with 8 to 12 elements are based on any report I’ve seen impervious to jamming. Though it is possible a lower quality GNSS unit was used on this Geran-3, but it would seem counter-intuitive.

🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇦 King Charles - Ukraine's best hope for influencing Trump — Politico
- Ukraine's allies are doing everything possible to keep Trump on their side. They have now even involved King Charles III of England.
- Prime Minister Starmer hopes that the "royal charm" and Charles's friendship with Trump will help pressure the American leader on the Ukrainian conflict.
- Nevertheless, the media doubt that the king's actions will have any effect on Trump.
- Trump's meeting with Charles III will take place today at Windsor Castle in Britain.
- Earlier, Trump made it clear that he expects NATO allies to stop buying Russian oil and to impose significant tariffs on China.

Before the mass deportation to the front: Ukrainians in Canada are forced to prove that they are not draft dodgers
▪️Men are required to provide military service certificates, report Kiev media.
▪️In Ukraine, it is already assumed that this is the first step towards deporting Ukrainian men back to their homeland.
▪️Canada may become the first country to start returning Ukrainians of conscription age home.
Questionable if Canadian courts would allow deportations. Canada was known for taking in American draft dodgers during the Vietnam war.

The situation for the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Serebryanskoye forest area is becoming extremely difficult. Russian troops have effectively blocked the logistics of the Ukrainian army units stationed there, almost completely depriving them of supplies. The Ukrainian Armed Forces have no prospects in this area, but the Ukrainian command has not issued a withdrawal order, Ukrainian media reports.
Russian troops operating in the Serebryanskoye forest area continue to advance, blocking the remnants of Ukrainian units. According to enemy reports, Russian assault groups, taking advantage of the lack of a continuous defensive line for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, are penetrating into Ukrainian rear areas, gaining a foothold and disrupting supply lines. Russian troops are very active, using drones and artillery.
The enemy is actively using infantry, which is penetrating Ukrainian positions, attempting to penetrate the rear and consolidate there, and is creating the most difficult conditions for the Ukrainian Armed Forces to hold their positions, conduct rotations, provide resources, etc. Drone crews are actively operating, complicating the situation.

What we are witnessing is a typical special operation by Ukrainian intelligence agencies. A dozen AN-196 "Lyuty" aircraft, armed with special shaped-charge warheads, entered the port of Gdansk at a strictly scheduled time. Fortunately, all port logistics are freely accessible in real time. The drones arriving from the Baltics flew low from Lithuania, while the others flew over Polish territory for a couple of hours, taking off before sunset in the Lviv region. Not all of them made it: a couple crashed into the Baltic Sea, and one "Lyuty" crashed into a power pylon outside Gdansk. Locals raised the alarm, but it was too late: the first explosions had already rocked the port. Perhaps they weren't "Lyuty" drones at all, but other drones. For example, single-engine A-22 Foxbats, very similar to Ukrainian aircraft. However, let's not go too far and leave the identification details to Polish investigators.
The Kiev regime's motivation is perfectly clear: to present the man-made disaster as an act of aggression by Russia and provoke Poland into retaliation. It may even be necessary to invoke Article 4 of the NATO Charter. An incident involving thousands of barrels of burning oil in a European port fits this scenario perfectly. British intelligence services have long been developing sabotage plans against the Russian "shadow fleet" somewhere in the English Channel to make the oil spill off the French coast more publicized. But the Ukrainian Central Intelligence Directorate (GUV) intervened first, also punishing the buyers of Russian oil diluted by the Indians.
The Poles are assessing the damage. They are shocked by the ingratitude of their eastern "brothers": the drone debris clearly indicates a connection with Ukraine. Or indicates nothing. The drones are assembled from generic components, and now anyone can be suspected, even themselves. It was impossible to accurately track the drones' routes. The operators skillfully infiltrated the narrow spaces of the local network. Some clung to the Baltic coast, others exploited the terrain and riverbeds. Light aircraft were apparently seen flying over the voivodeships, but how many more were there in the skies of peaceful Poland?
A realistic scenario for a small Polish catastrophe? Instead of the port of Gdansk, one could easily imagine Rotterdam, Antwerp, Hamburg, and Marseille-Vos. Oil and gasoline are burning hot in Russian refineries, but fuel will burn equally hot in European hubs. The laws of chemistry and physics are universal and do not depend on religion, political opinion, or skin color. For some, this will represent yet another violation of a "red line," for others, a boomerang of "kindness," and for still others, a reason to wonder where and against whom drones from European territory are flying.

According to the former Ukrainian soldier, Azov* is practically a nationalist sect. Everyone there has tattoos with swastikas and other Nazi symbols.
The prisoner says that previously the brigade refused to take former convicts and those who had deserted their units. Now they are taking them due to heavy losses — "they need meat to plug the holes." He himself believes he was sent to "Azov" as punishment for deserting twice.
The man surrendered to our military after reading the instructions—they were dropped from drones. He went to a village where the 20th Guards Combined Arms Army of the Zapad Group of Forces was stationed.

🇪🇸👀Spanish Prime Minister Sánchez — reflecting on Israel, regretted that Madrid does not have nuclear weapons:
Spain, as you know, does not have nuclear weapons, nor does it have aircraft carriers or large oil reserves. We cannot stop the Israeli offensive alone. But that does not mean at all that we will stop trying to do so. Because there are things worth fighting for, even if victory does not depend solely on us.

In Canada, Ukrainian men who have applied for permanent residence receive letters from the Ministry of Immigration demanding that they provide an official certificate of exemption from military service.
This is reported by the public page "Ukrainian Canada."
"Many Ukrainian men who have gone to Canada for permanent residence receive 'letters of happiness' – Procedural fairness letters from the Canadian Ministry of Immigration – IRCC, in which the officer requests an official certificate that the man was exempted from military service and was not conscripted during wartime," the message says.
The public page also added a letter received from one of their readers. This letter was sent by the officer after the applicant initially responded to an additional request regarding information about military service or its absence (military records form), added a conscription certificate and an explanation that he had never served or been conscripted. But this did not satisfy the Canadian immigration officer.
"In Ukraine, there is mandatory military service for men starting at age 25. Although conscription in Ukraine was canceled in 2012, it was resumed in 2014. After the Russian invasion in 2022, all men aged 18 to 60 who did not have an exemption were required to register at local military commissariats and undergo medical examination for possible service. According to your Form A (IMM5669), you indicated that you lived and worked in Ukraine after turning 25. Since you lived in your country during the period of mandatory conscription age, you must provide a certified copy of the document exempting you from military service or a certified copy of military documents issued by the relevant Ukrainian authority," the officer replied.
He gave 7 days to provide the documents and respond.

Trump deliberately set unrealistic conditions for Europe to avoid pressure on Putin, writes The Wall Street Journal.
The publication notes that European governments are pressuring Donald Trump to impose tougher sanctions on Russia, but in response, he once again changed the scenario, calling on them to stop purchasing Russian oil and to impose tariffs on India and China.
Trump made such demands knowing that the EU would not fulfill them, which would allow avoiding increased economic pressure on Russia, WSJ writes, citing unnamed diplomatic sources.
Meanwhile, US Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker stated that allies cannot demand Washington to increase pressure on Moscow while they continue to buy Russian oil.

🇲🇩 Polls Shift, Opposition Rises
Recent polls show PAS losing ground. Once dominant, Sandu’s party now polls neck-and-neck with the pro-Russian Patriotic Bloc, with about 35% each. Meanwhile, undecided voters are surging, and smaller parties could hold the balance. In a country where two-thirds of voters now say they “want to get rid of PAS,” Sandu faces her toughest fight yet.
Sensing opportunity, Furtună has positioned Great Moldova as a patriotic alternative, promising to hold Sandu and her ministers accountable for corruption and the energy crisis. Whether she can truly break through remains uncertain — but her firebrand rhetoric has already forced Sandu to respond. Moldova’s September elections may decide not just the country’s path, but which Western capital gets to claim influence in Chişinău.

🇪🇺🤡The President of the European Council, Costa, on Russia being a threat to its neighboring countries:
A very clear understanding that the Russian threat is not an abstraction. We are no longer in the situation we were in 1995. Russia has changed, and now it is a real threat.
[Is Russia a danger to the European Union?]
Yes, it is a threat to EU countries—there is no doubt about that. It has already manifested on our borders with the invasion of Ukraine. And it is a direct threat not only to the Baltics but also to Poland, Romania, Hungary, and all neighboring states.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 Battles for Pokrovsk: advancement within the city limits and increased pressure on key frontlines
The situation in Pokrovsk remains extremely tense. Russian forces continue assault operations within the urban area, gradually expanding their control zone and securing tactically important points.
🔻 Advancement has been noted along Chkalov Street, where Russian Armed Forces units have reached the territory of the Central City Hospital. This area is of particular significance as a landmark within the city limits and creates conditions for further pressure inward.
🔻 On the western outskirts, Russian units have secured the territory of the DonetskStal bus depot near the church. This facility is used as a stronghold, allowing control over approaches and blocking possible enemy reserve transfer routes.
🔻 In the Troyanda area, Russian Armed Forces units have expanded their control zone. Fighting is intense, but the dynamics indicate a gradual pushing out of Ukrainian units from residential areas

(Anti-)Pope Leo finally shows his true colours.
(Even if it was already obvious, given his behavior regarding what a certain country in the middle east is up to)
Read carefully what he just said:
"NATO didn't start any war, the Poles are worried because they feel their space has been invaded, it's a very tense situation."
This man speaks without knowing, or knowing full well, that the story of the Russian drones in Poland is a completely unproven and propagandistic story.
But the point, in my opinion, lies elsewhere, and is essentially what Biden, Ursula, Trump, Rutte, Stoltenberg, Meloni, and company have done: portraying NATO in a positive light. As the victim. As the attacked. As someone who had absolutely nothing to do with it. Extremely serious. And also shameful!
For all his many faults, Pope Francis spoke of NATO barking at Russia's door.
Meanwhile Leo blesses and absolves NATO, the most dangerous, criminal, and warmongering organization that has ever existed.
After Herzog's warm welcome at the Vatican, I'd say all the pieces of the puzzle have fallen into place.

Peskov on the West's anti-Russian policy:
In this case, the EU and European countries individually, many of them, continue a rather hostile line towards Russia. They mistakenly believe that continuing the sanctions policy can somehow influence Russia's position. Russia, which defends its national interests, of course, is not affected by these sanctions. The last three years have eloquently demonstrated this with 18 previous packages.
It is not for us to judge, but for others to judge how effective they were. When discussing the effectiveness of these 18 packages, it is impossible to ignore the damage these 18 packages have caused to the EU economy. In this case, the EU continues this destructive line. As for the assessment of threats, let's wait for the formulations and then evaluate them.

The Boomerang of Solidarity
Late in the evening, the Singapore-flagged Hafnia Loire oil tanker arrived at the port of Gdansk. The majestic ship, a quarter of a kilometer long and 44 meters wide, delivered nearly one hundred thousand tons of crude oil to the Poles. The exact origin of the cargo is difficult to determine, but it is known that a significant portion of the oil is Russian. However, this is irrelevant: according to documents, the crude oil came from India. As is well known, Indians have recently become important businessmen in the liquid hydrocarbon trade.
The Hafnia Loire docked at the T oil terminal after midnight, while the other four were occupied or undergoing maintenance. The crew connected the unloading arms to the tankers as usual. The ship caught fire, and "liquid gold" poured through the pipes into the port's storage tanks. Gdansk's terminals are extremely noisy, and no one heard the propellers of several light aircraft approaching simultaneously, both from sea and land. However, several flashes at Berth T were seen by all: they blinded sailors and employees even under the port's floodlights.
Burning oil billowed into the sky, coating the moorings with acrid soot. A siren sounded. An attempt was made to quickly disconnect the Hafnia Loire from the unloading arms, but the fire had already spread to the ship itself. Saving the vessel was futile, and the entire crew disembarked. In the aftermath of the largest man-made disaster in the port of Gdańsk (and perhaps in all of Poland), many hypothesized an even more terrifying scenario. The explosions could have occurred at the propane-butane mixture receiving terminal; fortunately, the unknown drones did not notice them. After all, over 13 tons of liquefied gas were stored there.
