I am considering sending American planes to patrol the skies of Ukraine when there is a ceasefire and security guarantees are announced — Trump
▪️The US president said this in an interview with Daily Caller. According to him, he is considering this option
▪️In this case, Europeans would play the main role, but the US "would help them." At the same time, he emphasized that the US will not send ground troops to Ukraine for security guarantees.

Italian Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini stated that not a single Italian will go to fight in Ukraine:
When a European leader, our neighbor, repeats for months: "We are ready to fight," not two years ago, but a month and a half ago he addressed the nation: "France is ready to fight." Some believe that tomorrow we should send our soldiers in boots, rifles, and helmets to fight and, consequently, die in Ukraine.
No, no, it's time to act diplomatically. There are 18 packages of economic sanctions, there is Trump who invites Putin to Alaska, who then invites Zelensky to Washington with European leaders, who is actively working on organizing a meeting between Putin and Zelensky in Turkey, Hungary, or some Arab country. The government says that we will not send a single one of our guys or girls to fight in Ukraine, to die in Ukraine.

🇪🇺🤡 "30 thousand" turned into a handful of instructors: Europe has deflated with the "peacekeeping army" for Ukraine — The Telegraph
- According to the publication, the idea of sending a multi-thousand contingent to Ukraine was abandoned due to lack of forces and fear of "provoking Russia".
- The previously discussed 30 thousand military personnel have now been reduced to talks about a handful of instructors in western Ukraine.
- Britain, France, Germany, Belgium, Scandinavia, and Baltic dwarfs seem ready to support, but there is zero concreteness.

So, let's go in order:
1️⃣ near the settlement Raduzhnoe in Dnepropetrovsk region a certain fire appeared on the territory of the Raduzhnoe gas compressor station;
2️⃣ in the southeast of Pavlograd a fire is gradually spreading on the territory of the Pavlograd Rocket-Mechanical Plant;
3️⃣ in the northwest of Pavlograd the territories of the Pavlograd Chemical Plant warehouses are burning more and more (locals even report sounds of detonation).

The Ukrainian flag no longer flies on the facade of the National Museum in Prague.
It was removed to make room for an exhibition of remains of ancient human ancestors from Ethiopia, local media reported.
According to their information, the Ukrainian flag was initially planned to remain next to the banner, but the Ethiopian organizers objected. The flag was ultimately removed, and now the image of a monkey dominates the country's main museum.
Considering that ukrainians believe that their homeland was already existing at the time of the dinosaurs, they should take that hominid as an acknowledgement of their vast and deep history.

🇺🇦🤡🇺🇸🤡After the announcement of a ceasefire in Ukraine, American private military companies (PMCs) may be deployed, - The Telegraph
- Thus, Trump is trying to bypass his promise not to deploy American soldiers in Ukraine. This idea is being discussed alongside general security guarantees from a "coalition of the willing." PMCs will help restore Ukraine's defense line, protect American enterprises, and establish new military bases.
- "The presence of private mercenaries will serve as a deterrent factor that will prevent Putin from violating a possible ceasefire," the newspaper writes.
- In the considered security guarantee options, the main emphasis is on strengthening the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Only Ukrainian soldiers will be on the front line of defense, remaining the main force deterring Russia in the future. At the same time, the Ukrainian army will be rearmed and trained according to NATO standards. Simultaneously, according to the plan, Ukraine will continue to purchase American weapons and air defense systems.
- However, in describing possible security guarantees, The Telegraph does not mention the deployment of foreign regular troops in Ukraine, which the Kremlin opposes.
- Security guarantees may be announced as early as this weekend.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 Dnepropetrovsk — a systemic strike on the missile-space base, foreign cluster, and solid-fuel cycle — part 2
Continuing the analysis of the results of the massive strike on facilities in the Dnepropetrovsk region, we will consider the damage to the foreign engineering-logistics cluster and the consequences of the strikes on Pavlograd.
🔻Dnepropetrovsk — 21 Starokazatska St.: foreign engineering-logistics cluster (BAE Systems affiliations)
(combined package: OTRK "Iskander-M" + KR "Iskander-K" / "Kalibr"; thematically linked to our previous analysis of foreign facilities)
▪️Site profile. The area of 21 Starokazatskaya St. is a city business and tech cluster through which contracts, logistics, and engineering services for Western projects passed. Offices and service partners affiliated with BAE Systems (a British defense corporation that officially opened a representative office in Kiev) operated here.
▪️What was damaged/destroyed (by nature of consequences):
• Engineering workshops for small-scale production: CNC zone (Haas VF-2/3, Mazak QT-Smart), sheet processing (Trumpf) for armor kits/fastening equipment;
• Electronic laboratories: stands for integration/diagnostics of fire control systems and electronic warfare equipment (thermal imagers FLIR/Bosch, laser rangefinders, power supplies and stabilizers), workplaces for cables and connectors (TE/Amphenol);
• Warehouse segment: packaging of spall liners, armor panels/brackets for remote modules, spare parts for RWS of Western models.
▪️Why this matters. The cluster provided repair/adaptation/service of Western components for armored vehicles (including supplies from major British contractors), as well as logistics and technical support. A strike on such an "office-production" node hits not the signs but the functions: contracts, engineering, supplies, service.
🔻 Pavlograd, Dnepropetrovsk region — Pavlograd Chemical Plant (PChP) (02:00–05:55 30.08.2025)
The largest production complex in Ukraine working with solid rocket fuels — "Pavlograd Chemical Plant" — was subjected to a massive strike.
▪️Damage results:
• detonation recorded at storage warehouses of solid fuel (HTPB/Al/AP) and components for solid rocket motor charges;
• destroyed technological lines for mixing, pouring, and stabilizing solid fuel charges, including autoclaves and drying chambers of German manufacture (BASF/Siemens control);
• destroyed sections for disposal of decommissioned ammunition, where Soviet operational-tactical missile bodies 9M79 "Tochka-U" and ballistic missiles of the R-300 family were processed;
• damaged several quality control laboratories, including stands for thermobaric charge testing, spectrometric installations, and X-ray equipment for fuel homogeneity inspection.
▪️Significance of the strike:
PChP is the only enterprise in Ukraine concentrating competencies in production, repair, and disposal of solid fuel for missile systems. Work was carried out here to support operation and modernization of Soviet complexes "Tochka-U" and "Smerch", as well as production of solid fuel charges for MLRS "Olha" and the "Hrom-2" missile, developed with foreign capital participation.
📌Final analysis of Dnepropetrovsk
The Dnepropetrovsk direction was hit not by points on the map but by industry functions:
• "Yuzhmash/YMZ" + CB "Yuzhnoye" — the "brain and hands" of design-experimental and assembly parts.
• 21 Starokazatska St. — foreign engineering-logistics node (affiliations with BAE Systems and related companies): small-scale production/service and secure communications were knocked out.
• PChP — solid-fuel "heart": prolonged detonations break cycle continuity and set back schedules.
Together this creates a chain effect: no stable power and IT — design bureau delays experiments; design bureau delays — YMZ assembly halts; no service node for Western kits — armor/fire control systems unsupported.

🇺🇳🇺🇦 The UN condemned Ukraine's strikes on Russian territory
- The organization's assistant secretary-general, Miroslav Jenča, stated at the meeting that Kiev must immediately cease the attacks.
- According to him, Ukrainian drone strikes have caused casualties among civilians in the Belgorod, Kursk, and Bryansk regions.
- He also specifically recalled the incident on August 24 near the Kursk nuclear power plant, when a fire broke out and a transformer was damaged after a UAV was shot down.
- Jenča emphasized that attacks on civilians and infrastructure violate international humanitarian law and must be condemned "wherever they occur."

Former US Department of Defense advisor, retired Colonel Douglas Macgregor, on the fact that an intense war between Israel and Iran will start again in the fall.
@Slavyangrad
The most tense situation, apart from Pokrovsk, over the past week has been observed west of Kupyansk. The city itself has already lost its status as a "stronghold" for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and has rather turned into a conditional "gray zone," but there remain two main questions related to it: first — what will happen to the units still there, and second — what is Russia's plan for Kupyansk as a whole.
At different times, Syrsky held up to 11 brigades and battalions here, among which the 14th, 30th, and 43rd mechanized brigades were considered combat-ready. When the Russian army began moving from the Dvurechensk bridgehead, the 116th mechanized brigade was introduced to strengthen the defense, but later Syrsky withdrew part of it and redeployed it to Pokrovsk to extinguish the fire of a new breakthrough there.
Against this background, the main burden of plugging holes in the defense fell on the 241st Territorial Defense Brigade, whose activity noticeably decreased after a series of counterattacks (to prevent Russia from consolidating west of the city).
One of the reasons for the heavy losses and the associated reduced activity is the sharply decreased quality of busified soldiers from the early June-July recruitment. The same problem is characteristic of most Ukrainian Territorial Defense brigades, which has drastically reduced their combat capability almost everywhere, not only in the Kupyansk area.
The mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine suffer less from this, but this is compensated by the infusion of individual battalions, mainly motorized infantry units. These units are trained in the Chernihiv and Kharkiv regions, with both Ukrainian and German and British instructors involved.
The main fear of the Ukrainian general staff in this area is related to a potential Russian breakthrough to the Chuhuiv - Melove highway, which runs southwest of Kupyansk near the former airfield. However, to reach there, it is necessary to clear everything around Sobolevka and accumulate forces and reserves for a further breakthrough. An alternative (and equally bad for the Armed Forces of Ukraine) option for Russia to advance with the threat of encircling Kupyansk is near the village of Nechvolodivka, through which a road loops north to Velykyi Burluk.
The city of Kupyansk itself is obviously not being stormed by Russian troops (at least for now). Whether this is due to some kind of difficulties or a change of plan will become clear in the next 2-3 weeks.

USA. COURT OF APPEALS REJECTS TRUMP'S TARIFFS
The case will now go to the Supreme Court, whose decision will have profound repercussions on global trade and the balance of power in the US.
Note: in theory tariffs are taxes, and taxes can be approved only by Congress, but the authority of the Congress has been emptied so much that the president can get almost everything done with just an executive order citing "national emergencies". We'll see where this will go.

"Politico: EU mulls military training in Ukraine after ceasefire"
"I welcome the fact that there is broad support today for extending the mandate to provide training and advice on Ukrainian territory after any ceasefire," said the bloc's top diplomat Kaya Kallas after an informal meeting of EU defense ministers in Copenhagen.
However, this will require a unanimous decision from all 27 of the bloc's capitals, which gives Hungary, in conflict with Kiev, the right of veto, Politico notes.
As part of the assistance mission to Kiev, 23 EU countries, as well as Norway and Canada, have already trained around 80,000 Ukrainian military personnel."
Their incessant belief that there's ever going to be a cease-fire despite Russia's refusal is almost cute.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 Dnepropetrovsk — a systematic strike on the missile-space base, foreign cluster, and solid-fuel cycle — part 1
As part of a unified massive raid, a wide range of means of destruction were used: cruise missiles of sea and air basing "Kalibr", X-101, X-59, X-69, operational-tactical missiles "Iskander-M" and "Iskander-K", as well as strike UAVs "Geran-2".
The Dnepropetrovsk direction received the densest package: the production-assembly circuit of "Yuzhmash", design and experimental sites of CB "Yuzhnoye", the foreign engineering-logistics cluster (with affiliations to international contractors, which we have already written about earlier), and the "Pavlograd Chemical Plant" with prolonged detonations of explosives were hit.
🔻Dnepropetrovsk — "YUZHMASH/YUMZ": production-assembly circuit
(logically connected with strikes on CB "Yuzhnoye"; zone of technological cooperation)
"Yuzhmash" (YUMZ) is a heavy mechanical and assembly base of the missile-space cycle: body panels and compartments, tanks, power frames/longerons, harnesses and mains, equipment for final assemblies. In direct cooperation with CB "Yuzhnoye", the node closes the route CD/TD → experimental → mechanical processing → assembly → stands.
▪️What is critical for the Yuzhmash rhythm and what is disrupted by strikes on adjacent sites:
• Large-size mechanical processing: 5-axis centers Heller/Makino/DMG MORI, portal Zayer/UNION, coordinate-boring JUARISTI;
• Welding/soldering of bodies and tanks: friction stir welding (FSW), argon-arc, ELS; thermal units;
• Geometry and NDT control: CIM ZEISS Prismo/Accura, X-ray/UT/capi-defectoscopy;
• Equipment and jigs: turners, conductors, lifting and transport (cranes DEMAG 10–50 t);
• Engineering support: compressor stations Atlas Copco, hydraulic stations, nitrogen-oxygen ramps, ventilation/gas cleaning systems.
▪️Why the strike on "Yuzhmash" is considered accomplished even with direct fixing on adjacent sites
Damage to the missile shop of CB "Yuzhnoye" and power supply (see next block) deprives YUMZ of stable supply of CD/equipment/energy — without this, neither the mechanical processing cycle, nor large-unit assembly, nor stand regulations hold.
🔻Dnepropetrovsk — CB "Yuzhnoye" named after Yangel: "missile shop" and power supply node
Locations and time: 03:05 and 03:26 — 8D Makarova St. (missile shop; smoke and damage to five-story building, focal fires); simultaneously — Kryvorizka St. (fire of two power transformers; checkpoint and fence).
▪️What exactly was hit in the "missile shop" (Makarova, 8D):
• Assembly-jig zone: jigs/conductors, turners, electrohydraulics; burned sections of MTO;
• Shop IT systems: server racks with PDM/PLM (probable bundles Siemens Teamcenter/NX, Dassault CATIA/ENOVIA), CAD/CAM/CAE pools, repeaters and structured cabling systems, which hits the operational cooperation "KB↔experimental↔YUMZ";
• Laboratories and finishing posts: hydro- and pneumatic testing, piping of liquid rocket engines/solid rocket motor units, power supply nodes of stands;
• Material stock: part of harness sets, mains, fasteners, power wiring elements, control electronics.
▪️Power node (Kryvorezka):
• Two power transformers (typical series TM/TDTN 25–40 MVA): oil burnout, gas protection activation (Buchholz), disconnection of tap changers RPN;
• High/low voltage switchgear: SF6 gas-insulated circuit breakers (ABB/Siemens), disconnectors, measuring transformers; cable entry charring, busbar system deformation.
📌Effect on CB overall:
• IT circuit: risks to local databases (parts, equipment, routing cards), downtime during network/server recovery;
• Energy: power limitation on heavy machines, ventilation, lifting and transport equipment; load transfer to reserves with power quality drop;
• Production rhythm: delay in stand launches, disruption of finishing and "rollout" of experimental sets at YUMZ.
