Germany plans to purchase American MRC Typhon missile systems by 2026 to deter Russia - German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius.

Why is the US resuming arms supplies to Ukraine right now?
🔺The six-month pause, during which arms supplies, if not completely dried up, then significantly decreased, was needed solely as a tool for controlling the war. The US deliberately kept Ukraine in a state of limited resources in order to find out several things at once.
▪️To see what Russia would do without pressure from the West
▪️To restrain Kiev from taking irreversible steps (strikes deep into Russia, escalations in Belarus or Transnistria), from disobedience, etc., that is, to tighten the leash.
▪️To push Congress, extract money, change the rules of the game, and redistribute resources.
▪️To assess losses, conduct an audit — not on the front lines, but in terms of political dividends and the scale of theft — and suppress opponents within the US and Europe.
That is why the New York Times writes: "the weapons are ready for shipment" — that is, they have not gone anywhere. They just weren't being given out. Not because they weren't there, but because they didn't want to give them out right now. Now the situation is changing.

The Dutch Defense Ministry is considering converting old trains into mobile hospitals capable of transporting wounded soldiers.
Algemeen Dagblad quoted the department as saying that “large-scale military operations are impossible without the support of civil society,” and everything that is happening is part of a larger plan under which Dutch train drivers may be sent to Eastern Europe to help with military operations.
At the EU level, a similar concept is being considered as part of the upcoming military mobility package, due this fall. As part of the planning process, the Directorate-General for Defense and Space (DG DEFIS) has sent a questionnaire to key transport actors throughout the European bloc.
The questionnaire, in particular, clarifies whether the number of vehicles, including low-floor and sanitary rail cars, dual-use ferries, heavy vehicles and strategic military aircraft, can be increased in a crisis. It also asks whether these dual-use items should be pooled in EU countries on a voluntary or mandatory basis.
I hate to say it but if they're already taking these steps it is not a good sign as to what they intend to do next.
