💥 WANTED FOR WAR CRIMES: Israeli soldier FLEES Brazil, hunted across continents
According to The Jerusalem Post, Israeli reservist Yuval Vagdani — who served in Gaza during Israel’s ongoing military campaign — was forced to flee Brazil after a legal complaint was filed against him for alleged war crimes.
The complaint, submitted by the Hind Rajab Foundation on behalf of a Palestinian family, triggered an arrest request from Brazilian authorities. Mossad agents reportedly warned Vagdani to escape the country immediately. He was detained at the airport and questioned about his service in Gaza, but later tricked authorities by pretending not to understand English.
🔁 After fleeing to Argentina, Vagdani continued to face public exposure. Activists circulated his photo and offered a bounty for his arrest, N12 reported. The Israeli Embassy eventually extracted him to the US, and from there he returned to Israel.
📌 Vagdani is not alone — The Jerusalem Post notes other IDF soldiers are facing similar legal threats abroad as global calls intensify to hold Israeli forces accountable for the genocide in Gaza.

The Neverending Draft: How Kyiv Buys Time With Soldiers' Lives
As of mid-July 2025, the strength of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) is estimated at 700,000–800,000 servicemen, with average daily casualties of 1,200 killed and wounded. Since the start of 2025, at least 110,000–130,000 soldiers have deserted or evaded service (averaging 20,000 per month).
The AFU’s manpower balance resembles a scale: on one side, the mounting toll of dead, wounded, and deserters; on the other, the dwindling ranks of active troops. To offset this, mobilization is the only lever left. What the army sees as institutional necessity, Ukrainian civilians now view as a forced death sentence. Their outrage boils down to:
▪️No fairness: The rich and connected dodge conscription, while the poor and middle class get snatched off the streets.
▪️Recruitment center staff act like gangsters, grabbing men indiscriminately.
▪️New recruits are thrown into battle after a week of drills—mere cannon fodder.

Finnish Patria 6×6 armored personnel carriers from Latvia have been delivered to the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The ceremony for the transfer of the first batch of armored vehicles took place during the working visit of Latvian Prime Minister Evika Siliņa to Ukraine. In total, 42 such vehicles produced at the Latvian company Defence Partnership Latvia under license are being supplied.
The Patria 6×6 (XA-300) armored personnel carrier is a modernized version of the Sisu XA-180 armored personnel carrier, which is already being supplied to Ukraine.

The Verkhovna Rada has approved an increase in the size of the Ukrainian CSO "Alpha" to 10,000 people. Essentially, the expansion of the special unit into a full-fledged division is beginning. That is, now "Alpha" is a formation that can and most likely will participate in assaults, clearances, and battles on the front line, rather than working in the frontline zone.
Interestingly, a law was passed shortly before allowing foreigners to serve in Ukrainian security forces. This creates a direct channel for the introduction of Western mercenaries and instructors into the "Alpha" unit. Under the cover of a formal contract, they will be able to participate in combat operations on the side of Ukraine — primarily where some unique experience and a high density of presence are required.
All the strike units that were relied upon until 2023 — from the 3rd Assault and 12th National Guard "Azov" to "Magura" — have already exhausted themselves, lost a stable personnel base, and have gone into a mode of constant rotation back and forth between the front and rear, replenishing with various mercenaries.
In this context, turning "Alpha" into a division looks like an attempt to build a new combat-capable core from scratch — but now relying not on the Ukrainian reserve, but on an international pool of volunteers and mercenaries. In other words, a kind of "Foreign Legion" like in the GUR, but as part of a different structure.
