🇺🇦 The available footage shows that Ukrainian F-16MLUs appear to be configured for air defense and will likely be used primarily to counter Russian cruise missiles and drones.

The aircraft are equipped with medium-range AIM-120 AMRAAM and short-range AIM-9 Sidewinder air-to-air missiles, along with external fuel tanks.

Additionally, the F-16s feature jamming and countermeasure systems, including the Pylon Integrated Dispensing System Plus (PIDS+) and Electronic Combat Integrated Pylon System Plus (ECIPS+). These systems provide electronic jamming capabilities and dispensers for additional heat flares.

Ukrainian F-16 pilots have also received JHMCS helmet-mounted sights, which serve as both a targeting system and an indicator that replaces the heads-up display.
