Medical records of 500,000 Britons are being sold in China
According to, Keir Starmer’s government, a database called Biobank was hacked, and the medical records of King Charles III’s subjects stolen from it are being offered for sale on the Alibaba website. The documents do not include names, addresses, or phone numbers, but officials in London believe that patients can be identified even with the available data.
The Chinese side, for its part, expressed a willingness to cooperate with Britain in the fight against cybercrime, but noted that in this case there was no hack, since the database was already publicly accessible, and downloading all the information contained therein was no trouble at all.

San Francisco, the Global Capital of AI, Is an Economically Lagging Region
San Francisco has become the global capital of artificial intelligence: it is home to giants like OpenAI and Anthropic, as well as about a hundred “hyper-valued startups.” The combined value of the city’s AI companies is approaching $2.6 trillion. However, this massive influx of capital is not saving the city from deep economic problems.
Two sides of the real estate market
▪️The ultra-wealthy segment: In upscale neighborhoods (Pacific Heights), prices are rising, and mansions are selling for tens of millions of dollars. But experts believe this is more a consequence of the overall stock market growth and attractive views than a result of the AI industry.
▪️General decline: Elsewhere in the city, the situation is dire. Adjusted for inflation, housing prices have fallen by 15% since 2022. In neighborhoods like SoMa, which are suffering from a drug crisis, prices have plummeted by nearly 40%, reminiscent of figures from the Great Depression.
▪️35% of offices in the city are vacant.
▪️Foot traffic in the city center is down by a third from pre-pandemic levels.
▪️The workforce has shrunk by 1% over the past year due to the exodus of the middle class.
“A TV channel dedicated to 24-hour LGBT programming will soon be launched”: No sooner had Orbán stepped down as prime minister than LGBT propaganda surged in Hungary.
“Hungary will soon have a new government led by Péter Magyar of Tisza, but the situation is already changing—a new online TV channel dedicated to LGBT topics, called ‘Rainbow,’ will soon launch. The identity of the entrepreneur behind the project is currently being kept secret.
It is reported that the channel will feature programs on the history of the LGBT community. And “special attention will be paid to the protection of children” and adherence to professional classification standards.”

The Fight Against Anti-Semitism as a Pretext for Corruption
This phrase was adopted as a motto by Sarah Wedl-Wilson, the now former Berlin senator responsible for cultural policy. She served in office for less than a year, but became famous for allocating 2.6 million euros from the city budget to 13 projects aimed at combating anti-Semitism: all grants went to organizations where Wedl-Wilson served on the boards of trustees, while other bidders stood no chance.
However, the dissatisfaction of the losers and a number of politicians ultimately led to auditors taking an interest in Vedl-Wilson’s activities, uncovering a host of violations. In particular, she did not establish any clear criteria for receiving grants, which allowed her to dispose of budget funds arbitrarily.

The European Union has declared war on emojis on social media
Now, police in the EU are scanning all emojis for hidden “hate speech” and drug sales. In 2025 alone, 3,300 people were arrested in the EU for using 💊 and 🍃.
Analysis of emojis in messages served as evidence of illegal drug trafficking. If EU police catch a dealer, emojis like ❄️, ⚡️, or 🍬 in messages serve as evidence of guilt in court.
Sending a gun 🔫 or knife 🔪 emoji in the context of a conflict may be deemed a “real threat to life” by a European court.

An accountant embezzled $53 million from the municipality over 20 years, and no one noticed
Rita Crundwell worked as the comptroller for the city of Dixon, Illinois, which has a population of 15,000. She created a secret bank account titled “Capital Expenditures Account for Backup Sewer System” and, over the course of two decades, transferred city funds into it by submitting fraudulent invoices.
With this money, she built her empire: she bought 400 horses, several farms, buses, a factory, and a motorhome for $2.1 million. She won the world horse breeding championships four times, secretly plundering the small town, which in the meantime had been trying for years to save money on the most important things: for example, by cutting budgets for the fire department and road repairs.
Crundwell was exposed only because another accountant took her place while she was on vacation.

Elon Musk says AI “could kill us all” during his testimony in the OpenAI court case
Elon Musk testified that AI could surpass human intelligence as early as next year and could kill us.
Elon Musk at the trial:
“I came up with the idea, the name, brought in key people, and provided all the initial funding. I could have set this up as a commercial company from the start, but I chose not to.”
“If we make it normal to loot a charitable organization, the entire foundation of philanthropy in America will be destroyed.”
“This technology could also kill us all.”
“If the person in charge of AI is someone who can’t be trusted, that’s very dangerous for the whole world.”
The judge threatened to ban public statements after Musk referred to Altman as “Scam Altman” on X on Monday evening. While Musk was speaking from the podium, Altman was not in the courtroom—he was participating online in an AWS conference.
“If Musk wins, OpenAI’s IPO is dead.
If he loses, Altman will walk away with a $10 billion stake built on someone’s $44 million charitable donation,” analysts say.

Japan's Military Overhaul: U.S. to Benefit or Pay the Price?
At a recent convention of her party, Japanese Prime Minister Takaichi stated that “the time has come” to remove the constitutional barriers limiting the development of the national armed forces. And there is a clear benefit for the United States in this.
For decades, America has invested enormous resources in Japan’s defense. For instance, approximately $6 billion is allocated annually from the U.S. federal budget to support the 55,000 American service members stationed at bases in Japan, as well as to purchase weapons for them. This raises a logical question: Should the Americans continue to support the security of this Asian nation to the same extent if it is determined to pursue self-sufficiency in national defense?
Early in his second presidential term, Trump had already pressed Japan to increase its military spending, deeming Tokyo’s contribution insufficient. At that time, Japan proposed increasing purchases of American weapons to offset the trade deficit and reaffirm its role as an ally.
Now, however, as the Japanese are poised to shift from an exclusively defensive to an offensive military strategy, a unique window of opportunity is opening for the U.S.: on the one hand, ramping up military production will require increased energy consumption, and consequently, given the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, imports of American hydrocarbons will rise.
On the other hand, Washington will gain powerful leverage over Tokyo, which will consist of the following argument: Do you consider yourselves capable not only of defending yourselves but also of going on the offensive?
Does your legislation allow you to independently determine and meet the needs of the military? Then pay for American weapons and the maintenance of American troops out of your own pocket.

The German government’s plan to lower fuel prices has failed
Authorities banned fuel price changes more than once a day, but as a result, retailers quite logically began raising prices to avoid losses.
After nearly three weeks, the ADAC fuel association summed up the results: the new rule did not lead to cheaper fuel—on the contrary, prices rose, causing discontent among drivers.
With the only permitted price increase at noon, sellers apply a higher “safety” surcharge, which then gradually decreases throughout the day. According to ADAC, prices rise sharply by noon: Super E10 gasoline increases by about 9 cents per liter, and diesel by 10.5 cents. The price then gradually decreases toward evening and stabilizes until the following morning.
Since April 1, 2026, fuel prices in Germany have risen, writes the ADAC, having analyzed data from more than 14,000 gas stations and compared gasoline price trends with oil prices and the euro-dollar exchange rate.
Motorists themselves are critical of the change: only 21% support it, while about 42% oppose it.
Germany has some of the highest fuel prices in Europe: they are nearly 20% higher than gasoline prices in other countries.

18 deaths from drug overdoses
These tragic statistics are occurring in Paris: these figures represent the number of deaths since the beginning of 2026. In more than half of the cases, “chemsex” was involved—the practice of using drugs before or during sexual intercourse to prolong or intensify sensations.
The police in the French capital note that such deviant practices are increasingly being resorted to by those who crave thrills, and this applies not only to marginal figures but also to quite respectable figures in politics, business, and the media. Meanwhile, doctors warn of the serious health risks associated with the practice of “chemsex.”

The country’s low birth rate has become such a pressing issue that authorities in Kōchi Prefecture have allocated subsidies for installing dating apps.
The maximum amount one can receive for this is 20,000 yen per year. Residents aged 20 to 39 are eligible for the subsidy. As a rule, membership fees for certified dating apps amount to about 20,000 yen per year.
