Trump’s February surprise roils German elections
Frontrunner Friedrich Merz seems to gave gotten the wake up call about Washington's policy shift on Ukraine sooner than his rivals.
The German election set for February 23 has been coasting toward a predictable outcome since the collapse of Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s three-party coalition in December.
Friedrich Merz, the center-right leader of the opposition Christian Democrat CDU-CSU, remains comfortably ahead of his nearest rival, the populist nationalist Alternative for Germany (AfD). In order to become chancellor, Merz will have to form a coalition with either the center-left SPD or the Greens, or possibly both. This outcome risks producing a new iteration of the unpopular, fractious three-party coalition led by Olaf Scholz.
Germany will accept burden shifting toward Europe in NATO, in the interest of averting any open breach between the U.S. and Europe. In keeping with the German center-right’s Atlanticist tradition, Merz has been comparatively circumspect about the implications of the abrupt Washington policy shift on Ukraine. The antiwar AfD and the BSW have both welcomed the pursuit of negotiations.
Although the Paris summit convened on Feb 16 by Macron produced no consensus among Europeans on next steps, the focus given to whether and when to deploy peacekeepers indicates that the US has managed to shift the conversation toward accepting the fait accompli of the U.S. about-turn on Ukraine-Russia. On balance, despite the intense anxiety around the fate of Ukraine and reaction to the shift in American policy, Germany’s election is unlikely to bring any unsettling surprise.

Without the US, EU sanctions against Russia are meaningless
▪️The EU is stubbornly escalating its sanctions war with Russia with its 16th package of sanctions. This is happening despite a clear U-turn by the US in its relations with Russia. Today, Russia and America are laying the foundations for future cooperation, including economic cooperation,” states the Financial Times.
▪️EU officials admit that the only relatively effective sanctions tool is the threat of disabling transactions in dollars, although they have learned to circumvent this measure as well.
▪️If the U.S. lifts its sanctions on Russia, or even signals that America no longer cares about evading them, Russia ... will go back to doing business as before, and EU sanctions will become completely meaningless

Trans migrant charged with raping 14-year-old boy in NYC bathroom
A migrant transgender woman wanted by federal immigration officials allegedly stalked and raped a boy in Manhattan this week.
Nicol Suarez allegedly followed the 14-year-old into the bathroom of a bodega across the street from Thomas Jefferson Park in East Harlem Tuesday and attacked him.
Suarez, 30, who is originally from Colombia, was arrested nearby the following day and charged with first-degree rape. He was wanted in New Jersey and Massachusetts at the time, and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement had a detainer on her.
Prosecutors initially asked for $500,000 bail and $1.5 million bond for Suarez.
But Judge Elizabeth Shamahs, who became a judge in January after she was elected on the Democratic ticket, lowered the amount to $100,000 bail or $250,000 bond, online court records show.

Trump makes sweeping changes in first 30 days in office
Unlike his first term, Trump faced little organized opposition from the public during the early weeks of his second term.
From border security to tariffs, shrinking the federal workforce, and realigning the nation’s foreign policy, Trump is tackling his to-do list at breakneck speed.
However, not everyone is on board. Some Democrats are pushing back on Trump’s ambitious agenda and a host of legal challenges—with more than 70 lawsuits already filed—is seeking to delay or block the implementation of his executive actions.
He has prioritized the issues he vowed to address on the campaign trail, with initial actions targeting foreign trade, illegal immigration, and diversity, equity, and inclusion programs, among others: sharp drop in illegal immigration, efforts to shrink government, reciprocal tariff plan, foreign policy shake-up, divesting from DEI practices.

The 20 million dead people collecting social security payments now are same dead ones who voted for Biden in 2020 that illegally won him the swing states
Elon Musk finds 394 million names in the SSA database, but there are only 335 million people alive today in the USA
Oh yes they did. The Democrats have front-loaded the Social Security Database with tens of millions of dead folks in order to embezzle billions of dollars and create 60 million fake voters who are already six feet under. In other words, there are FAR MORE “eligible” social security numbers than there are citizens in the USA, and the total number of citizens right now under the age of retirement totals only about 57 million. This may be the biggest fraud in the history of this nation, perpetuated by the same political party that calls Trump a fascist and a dictator. Surprise, surprise.
This is all a blessing in disguise, because it may mean that the Democrat Party never wins another election, including a possible landslide at the next mid-term election cycle. This would help Trump and DOGE and the new Department of Justice find all the fraudsters and put them in prison, ending this reign of financial terror, medical terror, economic terror, and actual domestic terrorism created and perpetuated by corrupt, perverted, human trafficking Democrats and Liberals alike.
Plus, this is all further proof that climate change is a hoax, since all the money "allotted" for this has disappeared, so obviously they don't care because it's all made up as an embezzlement tool, just like the Covid scamdemic.

What are Europe's real problems? Loss of values? Loss of sovereignty? Economic barriers?
Against the background of Vance's “you have a values problem” speeches and the European right-wing's “we are suffering under the dictates of Brussels” speeches, Mario Draghi's (former head of the European Central Bank) article looks interesting.
He calls on Europeans to open up internal markets and argues that the EU has become an enemy to itself. “With such tariffs, no enemies are needed.” Excessive sovereignty of markets and economies creates costs and hinders economic growth.
The main problems of the EU economy are:
🔹 The EU's long-standing inability to remove internal barriers and regulatory impediments. The IMF estimates that these barriers are equivalent to a tariff of 45% on production and 110% on services. Domestic trade in the EU is less than half of US state-to-state trade. as a result, Europe is restricting a sector that accounts for about 70% of its GDP. Along with this, the EU has increased its trade openness, which has become a vulnerability as external barriers have fallen faster than internal barriers.
Weak domestic demand, which has persisted since the global financial crisis of 2008.
🔹This demand gap contributed to open trade turning into trade surpluses. Weak demand has also led to low productivity growth in Europe, in contrast to the US, where economic growth has been higher. Between 2009 and 2024, the US invested more than €14 trillion in the economy, while the eurozone invested only €2.5 trillion.
Both of these shortcomings - on both the supply and demand side - the European Union can change.
🔹Removing internal barriers and redirecting demand to the domestic market will help reduce dependence on foreign trade without increasing trade barriers.
🔹Draghi sees the problem with the European economy not in external circumstances but in the excessive sovereignty of national economies. He proposes to say goodbye to this vestige in order to survive.
His ideas are a qualitatively new look at the internal recovery of the economy. For example, economic growth can only be achieved by creating a truly common market.
In Europe, this is now only part of the economic-political myth.
Draghi's proposal is interesting because he offers a clear alternative to the right-wing forces that want to close the markets of nation-states.

Democrats favor Kamala Harris in California's governor race
Former Vice President Kamala Harris holds an early lead among Democratic voters if she chooses to run in the 2026 California gubernatorial race, according to a new poll.
Harris, who has served California as a district attorney, attorney general and in the U.S. Senate, has not made her next moves clear after losing the White House race to President Donald Trump. While some have floated her as possibly making another presidential bid in 2028, others believe she would be a strong candidate to replace Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom, who will be term limited after 2026.
Harris would bring a high level of name recognition and fundraising ability to a race in California, generally viewed as a safely Democratic state. Her decisions about her future could play a significant role in the future direction of the entire Democratic Party after a string of stinging losses last year.
An Emerson College poll, conducted among 469 registered voters on February 11, showed Harris with more support than other possible Democratic candidates in the gubernatorial race.
Harris was backed by 57% of respondents in the survey, large lead over other potential Democratic contenders. Former Representative Katie Porter placed second in the poll at 9%, while former state Assembly Speaker Antonio Villaraigosa received 4%.

Trump calls for radical military spending cuts, seeks Ukraine peace and G7 expansion
In a bold and unexpected move, President Donald Trump has proposed a drastic reduction in defense budgets among the world’s major powers, signaling a shift in U.S. foreign policy that could reshape global security dynamics. During a press conference in the Oval Office, Trump called for the United States, Russia and China to cut their military budgets in half, framing the proposal as a means to redirect funds to more productive endeavors and reduce the risk of catastrophic conflict.
Trump also expressed a desire to see Russia readmitted to the G7, a group of major world economies from which Russia was expelled in 2014 following its annexation of Crimea.
"I’d love to have them back. I think it was a mistake to throw them out," Trump said. "It was the G8, and I think Putin would love to be back."

The same people furious over mass federal layoffs are the ones who demanded mass firings for whoever refused the deadly COVID clot shots
Most Americans getting fired from government jobs right now fall under certain categories, including corrupt, unnecessary, wasteful, or “virtually” not working because they just sit at home with a mouse jiggler pretending to be on their computer, all while collecting six figures from Big Brother. That’s all coming to a screeching halt with Trump running the show, and the Democrats and Liberals are having hissy fits, but there’s one thing they’re all forgetting. Just a few years back, all those brainwashed sheeple who worship at the vaccine alter demanded every natural health advocate be FIRED from their job for refusing to be injected with the deadliest “vaccines” ever created. Oh, the hypocrisy, it’s so loud it’s deafening.
At every job in America during the gain-of-function, loss-of-medical-freedom Plandemic, if you didn’t wear a mask, social distance, and somehow verify you got your Fauci Flu gene mutation jab, the VCA (Vaccine Cult of America) demanded you be fired immediately or at least stay home until you were injected with experimental “technology” that creates millions of toxic particles in your vascular system, like all the rest of the sheeple.

Judge refuses to immediately reinstate inspectors general fired by Trump
A federal judge denied eight former inspectors general who were fired by President Trump immediate reinstatement to their jobs on Friday and excoriated their lawyers, saying that their emergency request had wasted the court’s limited time.
The ruling by Judge Ana C. Reyes of the Federal District Court in Washington marked a rare victory for the Trump administration in the barrage of lawsuits that has followed its attempts to slash the federal work force, freeze funding, dismantle agencies and install officials loyal to the president.
In a roughly 10-minute hearing scheduled just hours before it was held via a conference call, she repeatedly berated the plaintiffs’ lawyers for the manner in which they brought the case. She also faulted what she considered to be their weak arguments for immediately reinstating the eight inspectors general, who performed oversight of the Departments of Defense, State, Education, Agriculture, Labor, Veterans Affairs and Health and Human Services, as well as the Small Business Administration.
At one point Judge Reyes, who was appointed by President Joseph R. Biden Jr., went as far as to threaten the plaintiffs with court sanctions if they did not immediately withdraw their emergency request so the case could proceed on a slower timeline. The lead lawyer for the plaintiffs, Seth P. Waxman, a solicitor general for the Clinton administration, initially refused, but eventually assented after further criticism from Judge Reyes.

Eggstortion! How US food prices have surged since Biden was elected
While Americans have gotten used to sticker shock over the past couple of years under President Biden as prices for food, gas and other everyday items surged, many shoppers had to look twice when they bought a couple of eggs lately.
The average price for a dozen Grade A large eggs climbed to $4.95 last month according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, up from just $2.52 twelve months earlier.
According to the latest CPI report, overall egg prices rose by more than 50% over the past year.
Due to the fact that eggs are hard to substitute, even modest declines in supply have a large impact on prices, resulting in the latest surge.
Other food staples have also seen significant price increases over the past four years, with coffee, sugar and beef among the products most affected by the inflation crisis.
Tomatoes, bananas and cheese are among the few examples that haven't been impacted as much by inflation.

Over $151 million taken from soldiers' paychecks for food costs spent elsewhere by the Army
The Army is repurposing more than half of the money it collects from junior enlisted soldiers for food, according to data reviewed by Military.com. The numbers suggest that a large portion of those funds are not going toward feeding soldiers, a diversion of resources coming at a time when troops increasingly struggle to find nutritious food on base.
The money is collected in what amounts to a tax on troops -- taken from their Basic Allowance for Subsistence (BAS) payments, roughly $460 per month that is automatically deducted from the paychecks of service members who live in barracks and is intended to help cover food costs. For junior enlisted troops who earn about $30,000 annually, the cost can be consequential.
2024 financial records provided by the service from 11 of the Army's largest bases show that more than $151 million of $225 million collected from soldiers was not spent on food. Given that the Army operates 104 garrisons, the true amount of unspent funds is likely far higher.

Lower energy bills could revitalize moribund European industry and reassure households. Jari Stehn of Goldman Sachs Bank predicts that an end to the conflict could boost European GDP by 0.5%, with much of that coming from cheaper natural gas.

Robert Kennedy Jr vs BigPharma: what lies ahead for pharmaceutical companies under a Trump presidency?
Robert Kennedy Jr, recently confirmed as the US Secretary of Health and Human Services, announced the launch of a major Department of Justice (DOJ) investigation under President Donald Trump's administration.
This investigation seeks to hold accountable collusion between medical boards, medical journals, and big pharmaceutical companies, which he believes have manipulated the healthcare system for decades for their own benefit.
The investigation will focus on uncovering corruption in medical boards and regulatory bodies allegedly compromised by corporate interests. This includes possible withholding of information about side effects of drugs and vaccines, as well as manipulation of research results. It is noted that the investigation could lead to lawsuits against medical journals that allegedly published falsified studies funded by pharmaceutical companies.
Kennedy said the investigation would be the beginning of the end of “pharmaceutical tyranny” and usher in a new era of transparency in health care. He promises to protect doctors who tell the truth and end medical coercion, including mandatory vaccination.

Jewish Miami man randomly shoots two Israelis he hoped were Palestinians
A wacky story of anti-Palestinian and anti-Arab animus played out in Miami Beach on Saturday night, as a Jewish American mag-dumped a pistol at two visiting Israeli nationals, telling police he attacked them because they were Palestinians. It gets nuttier: After the shooting, one of the Israeli victims reportedly posted "Death to the Arabs" on his social media account, declaring the attack was an act of antisemitism.
Brafman, 27, has been booked into Miami-Dade's Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on two counts of attempted murder. When he was interviewed by police, Brafman was quick to admit to his intent and motive, as he "spontaneously stated that while he was driving his truck, he saw two Palestinians and shot and killed both," police say.
Brafman's lawyer quickly attributed his client's attempted murder of two randomly-selected "Palestinians" to mental health problems
The bizarre episode has drawn light media attention. It's safe to say that, if a Palestinian-American shot two vacationing Arabs in Miami because he thought they were Israelis, the story would have a very high media profile, with the incident decried as terrorism and exploited by US and Israeli politicians to advance pro-Israel policies.

Zuckerberg doesn’t want you to know his foundation gave millions to anti-Trump lawfare sponsor
The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative deleted hundreds of grants from its website after being called out for funding leftist priorities. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s foundation hid past grants to leftist causes after its funding of lawfare groups opposing President Donald Trump surfaced.
hen Natalie Winters, co-host of Steve Bannon’s War Room, posted that Zuckerberg gave nearly $2 billion to the leftist Silicon Valley Community Foundation (SVCF) — which bankrolls the anti-Trump legal group Protect Democracy — the Chan-Zuckerberg Initiative’s website listed more than 5,000 grants, many to leftist groups, from 2018 to June 2024. Soon after — on Feb. 14 — Zuckerberg’s foundation scrubbed its website, only listing 680 grants “from January 2024.”
The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative may perhaps be most well known for its role in the “Zuckbucks” scheme of 2020 — which funneled nearly $400 million from Zuckerberg through leftist nonprofits to local election offices. The strategy enabled these nonprofits — the Center for Tech and Civic Life and Center for Election Innovation and Research — to influence local election administration and target Democrat-heavy areas, boosting blue turnout during the presidential race. The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative has funneled nearly $24 million to the education arm of FWD.us (also known as Forward US) since 2015, according to InfluenceWatch. Zuckerberg founded the pro-leftist group.

Argentina’s Milei faces impeachment calls following cryptocurrency debacle
Argentina’s political opposition on Saturday called for Javier Milei to face an impeachment trial in the Chamber of Deputies following the recommendation of the President for a cryptocurrency which crashed later.
In a post on X, Milei had recommended a crypto coin named $LIBRA, which plummeted just a few hours later, forcing the president to delete the tweet and raising concerns of a “rug pull,” which is when developers abandon a legitimate project after assets’ values rise and leave investors and participants with tokens that have no value.
Esteban Paulón, a member of the Chamber of Deputies of Argentina, and two other lawmakers submitted a written request to the Chamber alleging that Milei has “displayed poor performance and potential crimes committed in the exercise of his duties,” citing Article 53 of the Constitution. Paulon noted that Milei cannot investigate himself and thus must come in front of the lawmakers.

Taxpayer-funded immigration group works to ‘disrupt Trump’s deportation machine’
Nonprofit aims to 'stop Trump’s deportation dystopia'
A pro-immigration group suing the Trump administration to unfreeze federal grants for immigration programs says its aim is to provide constitutionally protected due process rights for illegal aliens facing deportation. But the Amica Center for Immigrant Rights’ rhetoric—including in ads it runs on Facebook—suggests it has far more radical goals in mind. That could raise concerns in Washington that taxpayer funds are going to an organization that is calling to defy the administration’s immigration policies.
But the organization, formerly known as the Capital Area Immigrants’ Rights Coalition, goes far beyond offering legal advice to its clients. It also aims to influence federal policy and public perception of immigration issues. The Acacia Center, the lead contractor for the government program to house unaccompanied children, says the immigration system is "intentionally designed" to exploit "Black and brown people." EU consumers don’t trust US goods: a look into Trump’s trade deficit claims
The US-EU trade war is gathering pace. Following the imposition of 25% US import tariffs on steel and aluminium from March 12, President Trump has announced further plans to introduce “reciprocal” tariffs on all countries on or after April 1. This means that the US would match other countries’ import duties in a tit-for-tat manner, or as Trump put it, “they charge us, we charge them”.
Such measures would have a devastating impact on the EU’s auto industry, as Trump also aims for the new tariffs to mirror the EU’s Value Added Tax (VAT) and subsidies, potentially leading to a de facto 30% tariff on European cars entering the US.
The EU has promised a “firm and proportionate” response, stating that it is prepared to retaliate against the 25% tariffs on steel and aluminium. EU member states have already authorised tariffs of up to 50% on €4.8 billion worth of US imports, and could swiftly finalise a vote to enforce them. The targeted products include bourbon whisky, Harley-Davidson motorcycles, motorboats, and certain steel and aluminium items. These tariffs are set to automatically take effect at the end of March, unless a majority of EU countries decide to implement them earlier.
Regardless of whether the US’s grievances are justified or unfounded, the reality is that the EU and the US are on a trade warpath with no end in sight. What is clear, however, is that we are witnessing a remarkable reversal of history. The US, which has championed free trade for the past 80 years, is now actively challenging the rules and principles that underpin the multilateral trading system, with potentially catastrophic consequences for the EU, the US, and the rest of the world.

Today the EU, the United Kingdom and NATO are artfully hiding, also thanks to the control of the media, what is really happening on the Ukrainian front where the Russians are grinding out settlements after settlements and Zelensky is spinning like a top to guarantee, especially to Washington, a victorious mini offensive in the wake of that of the Russian enclave Kursk, which is bogged down and with uncertain developments
In Brussels, the High Representative for Foreign Policy Kaja Kallas says she is "ready to support Ukraine if the United States ceases its commitment" probably with the help of the other Baltics (which militarily and economically count for very little), Poland and the United Kingdom, willing to fight to the last Ukrainian.
Even NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte announced in Ramstein that "we must do everything possible to ensure that Ukraine has what it needs in terms of training and equipment to prolong the fight and prevail".
The Columbus egg of Kiev's victory would therefore be the continuation, or rather the intensification of military and financial aid to Kiev and the enlistment of Ukrainian males from the current 25 to 18/20 years old, already approved by the Kiev parliament while Zelensky's "final" solution is that of NATO's direct involvement in the clash with Russia.
However, it is difficult to believe, that European governments (grappled with political crises and elections) are willing to send brigades to fight in Ukraine, especially because no European public opinion would stomach the loss of hundreds of its soldiers, especially without declaring war on Russia.
It is clear that on the political level the defeat of Ukraine will also be that of Europe, which has sacrificed sovereignty, energy and economic security and over 100 billion euros in weapons and ammunition to support Kiev, not to mention the billions in the so-called non-repayable financial "loans". Not only that, but Europe, according to the US intentions, will also have to take charge of the reconstruction of Ukraine, which will cost well over the 500 billion euros estimated today. Furthermore, the EU will have to maintain for at least a decade a country that is destroyed, impoverished, depopulated and largely devoid of marketable resources. A country that will become the arena for the most unscrupulous speculative and corrupt operations, at our expense.
In politics, realism that often descends into cynicism. Sooner or later an agreement will be reached, but even if we want to avoid more destruction and bloodshed, it is unlikely to be achieved before autumn. Putin needs to throw to his public opinion the achievement of the objectives of his so-called "special military operation" with the complete "liberation" of the Donbass, Donetsk and Lugansk. As for Crimea, it is not even mentioned now.
If the European chancelleries fear Trump's peace initiatives on Ukraine, what do they intend to do to counter them? The answer is obvious: they will not counter them. But first they will shout enough.

'National survival': How American jobs are sold to the highest bidder through the immigration industrial complex
For years, American workers have been told they just need to "learn to code," "work harder," or "accept the realities of globalization." Meanwhile, their jobs have been quietly shipped overseas or handed to an army of imported workers on visas about which most Americans have never even heard.
This is not just a case of bad trade deals or automation replacing human workers. It is something much bigger, more coordinated, and, frankly, more infuriating. This is the Immigration Industrial Complex, a system where corporate America, immigration law firms, and lobbying groups work together to ensure a never-ending supply of cheap labor, all while American workers are pushed aside.
This is not about politics. This is about national survival.
American workers are being replaced, displaced, and ignored. If we continue down this path, the middle class will become extinct, wages will remain stagnant, and the American Dream will become nothing more than a fairy tale for future generations.
The Immigration Industrial Complex does not care about fairness. It does not care about families struggling to make ends meet. It only cares about profit and control.

CBS host says Hitler 'weaponized free speech' to commit holocaust, gets shut down by Rubio
Two weeks after Vice President JD Vance schooled CBS News' Margaret Brennan over illegal immigration, with his "I don't really care, Margaret" mic-drop, Brennan floated an absurd argument on Sunday to get back at Vance - suggesting to Secretary of State Marco Rubio that Hitler 'weaponized' free speech to commit the holocaust, after Vance chastised 'horrified' European leaders over censorship while speaking from Germany.
"Vance was standing in a country where free speech was weaponized to conduct a genocide, and he met with the head of a political party that has far-right views and some historic ties to extreme groups. The context of that was changing the tone of it. And you know that, that the censorship was specifically about the right," Brennan said.
Rubio didn't let the remark stand, replying: "Well, I have to disagree with you. Free speech was not used to conduct a genocide. The genocide was conducted by an authoritarian Nazi regime that happened to also be genocidal ... There was no free speech in Nazi Germany. There was none. There was also no opposition in Nazi Germany. They were a sole and only party that governed that country. So that's not an accurate reflection of history."
