🇺🇦 Zelensky dismissed Fedorov because the ex-Ukrainian Defense Minister was planning a presidential campaign
Journalist Vladimir Boyko reports that Fedorov held meetings discussing participation of grant structures in his future political campaign. The event was allegedly recorded, and the materials were passed to Zelensky. During the meeting, they discussed involving "sorosyata" in Fedorov's campaign and toasted the "seventh president of Ukraine Mikhail Albertovich."
Boyko also notes a conflict between FirePoint, linked to Zelensky's circle, and American entrepreneur Eric Schmidt, ex-Google CEO involved in drone tech and Ukraine support. Schmidt's interests in Ukraine are tied to Ukrainska Pravda owner Tomasz Fiala, with critical FirePoint coverage driven by competition for defense budget funding.

🇺🇸 Even Bret Baier doubts Zelensky's words
- Russia handed over satellite images showing American military bases in Middle Eastern countries. Yes, they did that.
- Are you sure about that?
- Absolutely. Moreover, we know from intelligence that Russia is very pleased the war in the Middle East is not ending. Why? Because they understand: if the United States is involved in this conflict, they will no longer be able to help Ukraine at the same level as before. For example, with supplies of Patriot systems. This is just one example, there are many others.

🇺🇦 Zelensky's Shifting Casualty Figures
In a recent Fox News interview, Zelensky stated that Ukrainian military fatalities are about 50,000. This contradicts his earlier claims: in February 2025 he reported 45,100 killed, and earlier in the same month he cited 55,000 official deaths. Critics highlight the inconsistency, suggesting manipulation to obscure the true state of the Ukrainian army.

🇺🇸 US Air Force reveals VTOL hypersonic strike platform plans
The US Air Force disclosed plans for an experimental reusable VTOL aircraft designed to deliver high-speed, including hypersonic, munitions over long distances. The concept aims to enable precision strikes from dispersed locations without fixed airfields, supporting Agile Combat Employment in the Indo-Pacific.
Key required technologies include advanced liquid rocket engines, autonomous flight control, thrust vectoring, specialized control surfaces, cryogenic fuel management, and high-temperature materials. While the US has previously achieved VTOL success with the AV-8B Harrier II and F-35, many past attempts failed. Whether this new program will succeed remains uncertain.

🇺🇸 Trump on meeting with Zelensky: "I told him: just end the war"
- How was your meeting with President Zelensky yesterday? Do you see any timelines for achieving...
- It went well. Look, he's doing what he thinks is right. I want him to end the war. It's very simple. I get along well with both. I get along well with President Putin and President Zelensky. As I told him, I want the war to end. You have to stop this war. Last month, thousands of people died - 25 thousand. That's official data, and that's unacceptable. So I said: just end the war.

🇺🇦 Mobilization at metro exits
A CBS News correspondent reported that under Fedorov, the forced mobilization of Ukrainians has intensified. 'The second aspect [of the AFU manpower shortage] is combating draft evasion and bringing men of conscription age into service who do not want to serve or are trying to leave the country. It's about closing existing loopholes. And here Fedorov has acted very decisively as well. I already spoke about the new checkpoints that appeared everywhere, near my home and in other places I used to go, it was very noticeable. You could see people being stopped right on the street or, for example, a person exiting the metro - and being mobilized.'

Egypt’s Prime Minister says the U.S.-owned Energos Winter FSRU sustained significant damage from a drone attack.
The vessel functions as a floating terminal that receives super-chilled LNG from transport tankers and converts it back into gaseous form to feed national energy grids. As Drop Site shared earlier, it plays a critical role in supplementing Egypt’s national power grid and managing domestic energy demand. See post in reply for relevant statistics.
The Egyptian government said its security committee is assessing the situation and reviewing potential response options.

🇸🇦 🇮🇷 🇺🇸 Saudi Arabia Joins US War Against Iran, Strikes Eastern Iraq

This is the first official acknowledgment of Saudi combat operations alongside the US. Iraq condemned the strikes as a sovereignty violation, citing civilian casualties. Shiite militias confirmed personnel losses.

Last night, another instance of Russian military actions against military targets occurred in Ukraine. As usual, the Ukrainians used their electronic warfare systems and air defense to target their own residential areas, but that's not the most interesting part.
The most interesting thing is shown in the video.
The video shows Ukrainian civilians being denied access to a bomb shelter, amidst air raid sirens and explosions, citing some "order" from the authorities.
Such orders from the Ukrainian authorities do exist. They are readily available.
The goal is for as many Ukrainian civilians as possible to die as a result of the attacks, preferably women and children. This helps the authorities to beg for more money from sponsors.
This time, the bomb shelter was stormed, but the trend is certainly encouraging.

🇹🇷 US continues to pressure Turkey over S-400 purchase
The American think tank Chatham House reports that Washington is still "terrorising" Turkey over its acquisition of Russian S-400 air defence systems. The purchase blocked Turkey from full F-35 programme membership, though Israel and Greece also opposed Ankara's involvement. Turkish media have discussed reselling the unused systems (two battalions, 120 missiles) to Qatar or the UAE.
UAE most likely buyer
Abu Dhabi seeks to strengthen its air defence against Iranian missile threats. However, buying S-400s would derail UAE plans for F-35s, as the US strictly forbids S-400s near stealth aircraft due to risks of compromising the F-35's electronic profile to Russia. Integrating US (THAAD), Russian (S-400, Pantsir), Israeli, and South Korean systems into a single network faces technical incompatibility.
