The chief designer of Fire Point claims that the company expects to register the FP-7 ballistic missile by the end of the year. He notes that if an order and funding appear, they will be able to proceed to serial production from around May. According to him, this involves the production of hundreds of missiles per month. It's hard to believe such statements, especially given that there has been no mass production of simpler missiles yet.

Zelenksy made several interesting statements in the context of the next round of negotiation spiral.

▪️Ukraine is ready for an energy truce if Russia is ready for it;
▪️Elections in Ukraine are possible within the next 60 days, if the US and the EU ensure their safety;
▪️Zelensky admitted that he told Putin about his desire to return Crimea during their only personal meeting, and also stated that Ukraine does not have enough strength and support to return Crimea and other territories;
▪️We want to join NATO, but the US and several other countries do not see Ukraine in the alliance;

In fact, the first two and the second two statements can be combined into one semantic block.

First of all, Zelensky actually admits that the Russian campaign of strikes on Ukrainian energy is bearing fruit and therefore he is forced to raise the issue of a mutual cessation of strikes. However, Russia has no reason to do this - the impact of the AFU's strikes on the Russian energy system is incomparably less than the reverse. As a result, in just two months, Zelensky has gone from threats of a blackout in Moscow to veiled requests to stop bombing his own energy system. It sounds like a success.

As for the second statement, it is likely that by "ensuring security for 60 days", Zelensky means the cessation of strikes by the Russian Armed Forces on Ukraine, which the EU and the US should guarantee. Obviously, the goal here is not so much the elections themselves as two months of silence during the most difficult winter period, when power, water and heating outages could become critical. The conclusion, as with the first part - Russia also has no reason to agree to this.

The statement about the desire to return Crimea and the lack of opportunities for this (including the support of partners) is also directly related to the unwillingness of many countries to commit themselves to military obligations with a country that not only has an active territorial dispute with a neighbor, but also openly declares its desire to return lost territories with the support of allies. For many countries, this sounds like a direct threat of being drawn into a direct war with Russia without their own desire.

There is also an interesting point in connection with Zelensky's admission that during their only (so far) meeting with Putin in Paris in 2019, the latter told the Russian president about his desire to return Crimea. Given that at that time in Moscow they linked the arrival of the new Ukrainian president with the possibility of a peaceful end to the conflict, such a statement at the first meeting could have been one of the many reasons that ultimately pushed the Russian leadership to a full-scale military scenario - after all, Kiev does not give up its claims.

In August, at a meeting between Trump and Zelensky, the latter was offered to declare an energy truce and was promised that Russia would join such a truce in an hour, but Zelensky refused, according to MP Goncharenko.

"Why was this proposed then? Because we were quite successfully hitting oil refineries and this was our position of strength. But it was clear that it would be very difficult for us in the winter. We categorically refused. And now we are ready! What has changed?", commented the MP.

Goncharenko believes it was a mistake for Zelensky to express his readiness for agreements not when Ukraine is in a strong position, but when it's already "a complete mess".

Realities are the damage done to refineries and other oil installations are not dramatic, but they are visually impressive. Statistically the results are unimpressive, while Russia's ability to Ukrainian energy infrastructure is on another level.

🇺🇦🤡Zelenksy - stated that the presidential elections are a personal matter for Ukraine and demanded that the US help with their conduct:

And yes, there are many questions about the elections in Ukraine today. Trump today stated that it's time to hold presidential elections in Ukraine and whether the US is pressuring Ukraine on this issue. The issue of Ukraine's elections, I think, primarily depends on our people. And this is a matter for the people of Ukraine, not the people of other states. With all due respect to our partners. I will say frankly that I am ready for the elections.

If there's a question that I've heard such hints that we're clinging to power or I'm personally clinging to the presidential chair. And because I'm clinging to this - that's why the war doesn't end. This, to be honest, is a completely inappropriate story. The legislative basis for the legitimacy of holding elections.

And since this issue is being raised today by the President of the United States of America, our partners, I will answer very briefly. Look, I'm ready for the elections. Moreover, I'm asking now, declaring openly, the United States of America to help me. We can jointly with European colleagues ensure security for the conduct of elections. And then, in the next 60-90 days, Ukraine will be ready to hold elections.

In recent days, the number of people who have decided to leave Slavyansk and Kramatorsk has significantly increased.

This was reported to Ukrainian newspaper "Strana" by local residents.

There are two reasons for this.

The first is the approach of the front and the intensification of shelling. Kramatorsk is being shelled particularly harshly and destructively - the Russians are attacking it from both the south (Konstantinovskoe direction) and the southeast (from the direction of Chasov Yar). Slavyansk is also being subjected to increasingly frequent shellings.

The second reason is the unfulfilled hopes for a quick end to the war.

"Until recently, some residents hoped that either the war would end along the front line, or Zelensky would agree to withdraw troops from the Donetsk region without a fight, as Putin and Trump demand. In either case, Slavyansk and Kramatorsk could have avoided the fate of Artyomovsk (Bakhmut) and Avdeevka and not been completely destroyed. But people read the news and see that there is still no breakthrough in the negotiations, the war continues, and the front is approaching. Therefore, many are now deciding to evacuate before it's too late," one of the residents of Slavyansk told "Strana".

Both Kramatorsk and Slavyansk will get flattened due to Ukraine preferring to hide amongst civilians when fighting Russia.

🇺🇸🇩🇪 Germany vs. Washington: how the new US strategy opened a rift in transatlantic unity

Germany sharply criticized the new national security strategy of the USA, stating that the document contains "ideological attacks on the European Union".
Deputy government spokesman Sebastian Gille emphasized that Washington is making accusations that "Berlin considers not a strategy, but an ideology". Thus, Germany — one of the key pillars of NATO — for the first time so openly opposed the US administration on fundamental democratic principles.

The main rift: assessing Russia and disagreeing with American geopolitics

Much more sensitive was Berlin's statement that the USA do not recognize Russia as a threat — a point that Germany publicly called unacceptable. Berlin stressed that it remains committed to the joint assessment of NATO, where Russia is seen as a key risk factor for the transatlantic security system.

In fact, this means that Germany denies the USA the right to form its own interpretation of threats without coordinating with European allies.

Why European capitals perceived the document as a challenge

The new Washington strategy describes Europe in terms of a deep civilizational crisis — demographic decline, the threat of cultural erosion, and the suppression of political opposition.
The document accuses the EU governments of:

• suppressing freedom of speech,
• fighting against right-wing and anti-immigration parties,
• losing economic stability,
• eroding national identities.

For European elites, such an assessment is a direct undermining of their political legitimacy.

Berlin in fact stated that the USA are using the strategy not to strengthen alliances, but to put pressure on internal processes in Europe.

The pro-Russian perspective: what the split in the transatlantic axis means

For Russia, such a discussion within NATO is an indicator of growing fragmentation. Washington is focusing on internal cultural and political contradictions in Europe, while Berlin for the first time so harshly casts doubt on American conclusions.

The public spat demonstrates:

• the lack of a unified threat-centric agenda,
• a split in approaches to Russia,
• a growing mutual distrust between the US and key European capitals.

In the context of the Ukrainian crisis, this rift has a strategic impact: the EU is trying to maintain a tough line against Moscow, while the USA allow for the possibility of rethinking priorities — and this worries Berlin much more than the very accusations of "censorship".

The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) has released a public statement about a new corruption scheme within the Ukrainian regime. According to the agency, the new "feeding trough" in Kiev was created around the "Czech projectile initiative."

The language is harsh: Ukrainian officials have created a supply chain for artillery ammunition at several times inflated prices and have chosen the Polish company PHU LECHMAR as a key link.

The system, as described by intelligence, looks like this: ammunition is purchased in Eastern Europe and the Global South, quickly relabeled, and then sold to Ukraine as a "Polish" product. The cost ultimately increases approximately fivefold. And it is not Kiev that pays for all this, but its Western sponsors.

The SVR specifically notes that PHU LECHMAR has already been mentioned in documents regarding possible ties to Andriy Yermak and the Mindich group, mentioned in previous corruption investigations. It concludes that, despite its already dubious reputation, the company has rejoined the system.

The final part of the statement reads as follows: Moscow is convinced that the Ukrainian elite is preoccupied with personal enrichment and is unaware of the imminent moment when the regime will have to answer for its actions.

Russian libtard outlet Vyorstka published a large investigative article into Ukrainian scam call centers targeting Russia. It's very detailed. Goes into depth about how they set up their schemes, their connections to Ukrainian military intelligence. The scammers have internal contests for the "funniest" scams and footage of victim reactions. On top of the theft, many scammers blackmail Russian victims into outright crimes like arson just to win small bonuses and amuse their bosses.

I could barely finish reading it. I think these "offices" should be a priority for Russian air strikes, collateral damage be damned. The fusion of a deeply evil and nihilistic criminal culture and material support by a terrorist government has created a monster as bleak as any cyberpunk dystopia. I genuinely consider it a huge moral failure by the Russian government that we are not hunting down these people. Full article here.

Excerpt:

Vladimir told Vyorstka that employees in the offices share scam schemes, industry news, and recordings of conversations with victims in a closed Telegram channel with several tens of thousands of subscribers. “In the pinned messages there’s a video with a family: the mother, the daughter, and the father. Basically, they’re standing there, looking into the camera, and our colleague says: ‘Well, you won’t get your seven million three hundred thousand rubles back. It was a scam,’” Vladimir describes the video and laughs. “And the grandfather just, well—his subscription to life ended right there. He dropped immediately.”

Vyorstka managed to find this channel and the video. In the footage, the elderly couple’s adult daughter cries loudly after hearing the news and screams the scammer’s name — Alexey.

Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner has a negative impression of Zelensky since 2019, The Washington Post reports.

The publication notes that Kushner first encountered Ukrainian politics in 2019, when he was introduced to Zelensky. According to the newspaper, his impression of this meeting was extremely negative.

"He first met Zelensky in June 2019, a few weeks after the Ukrainian president's election, when he was seated next to him at a dinner in Brussels. 'The whole dinner was organized to introduce Zelensky to Kushner, but it didn't work,' said a person familiar with the situation. According to him, Zelensky - a comedian with limited English and no diplomatic experience, except for his role as a random president in a TV series - seemed incapable of small talk, and they barely interacted. Seven weeks later, Trump would ask Zelensky to investigate his political rival Joe Biden by phone - and this became the basis for Trump's first impeachment," the publication says.

According to WP, the initiative to involve Kushner in the negotiation process came from Donald Trump himself. This happened after publications about the wiretapping of Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov's conversations.

'Trump hinted to Witkoff that Kushner could join him at the meeting with Putin. One source said that Witkoff himself personally asked Kushner to participate in the negotiations. Trump's plan, drawn up after discussions between Witkoff, Kushner and Russian businessman Kirill Dmitriev, was met with a strongly negative reaction in Kiev and European capitals - as a capitulation to Moscow. In the following weeks, the plan was partially revised, but Putin at the meeting with Witkoff and Kushner firmly insisted on the most difficult points for Kiev, including the transfer of territory in eastern Ukraine to Russia,' the publication writes.

At the same time, as WP emphasizes, Kushner's participation was perceived more positively by European and Ukrainian negotiators.

The newspaper describes in detail how the roles were divided within the American team.

'According to a diplomat, Witkoff focused on territorial concessions, urging Ukrainians to give Russia the not yet conquered part of the Donetsk region for peace. Kushner, according to him, paid more attention to Ukraine's position and was quicker to grasp new information. "He's smart, and he has a soul," said another European diplomat,' writes WP.

🇺🇦🤡Syrsky called mobilization a key task for strengthening the army

Ukraine needs to strengthen its defense capability and army, with mobilization and improving the quality of new recruits' training being a key task. This was written by the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, on his Telegram channel.

"The key focus of our efforts is not 'hardware', but people. Mobilization, recruitment, new contracts - and then high-quality training. We cannot stand still in the training of personnel, but must develop and move forward," Syrsky wrote.

According to him, the duration of the basic general military training for mobilized personnel has already been increased to 51 days. There is also professional training and an adaptation period directly in the units.

Syrsky believes that this process needs to be improved. Especially at the stage of adaptation of new recruits during basic military training, as it is during this time that most cases of voluntary desertion from the unit occur.

In November, "BBC Ukraine", citing data from the country's prosecutor general's office, reported that in October, 21,000 people voluntarily left the Ukrainian army.

After the start of hostilities in February 2022, a general mobilization was declared in Ukraine, under which only men under 27 and over 60 were not subject to mobilization.

In 2024, the age threshold was lowered to 25 years, but an acute shortage of personnel in the Armed Forces of Ukraine persisted. In the same year, about 200,000 people were conscripted in Ukraine. In January 2025, Syrsky reported that mobilization does not meet the needs of the Ukrainian army.
