🇺🇸🇪🇺🇷🇺 "Impotent Europeans can only fume as Trump rightly sidelines them from Ukraine deal," — NYP
- Trump's plan could have balanced relations with Russia, but Europeans are behaving like "losers".
- The US will act as a mediator in the dialogue between Russia and NATO, which will allow Europeans to return to important matters: adding custard cream to pastries for breakfast and working 35 hours a week.
- "But Europeans would rather risk war on Putin's terms than peace on Trump's terms," the publication writes.
- The publication also criticizes Macron, who said that the US would allegedly "betray Ukraine by ceding its territory".
- "Little Emmanuel was the first to rush to Moscow and beg Putin for mercy in 2022," writes NYP.
- Europeans are pacifists who want to prolong the war, warriors who don't have swords, strategists who don't understand anything, and allies who plot conspiracies.
- Trump is determined to make a deal with Ukraine — and Europeans are becoming unnecessary in their own territory.

🇺🇦 Prime Minister Sviridenko and Rada Speaker Stefanchuk were part of the group of "conspirators" against Yermak
- In the 20th of November, Sviridenko, Stefanchuk, and the leaders of Zelensky's party gathered to discuss how to force Yermak's resignation.
- "Yermak had already fallen out with everyone in the team at that point. It all started off well, but then he decided he was going to be the 'second president'", says a participant of the meeting.
- When Yermak found out about this meeting, he tried to initiate criminal cases for "state treason" against faction leader Arakhamia and deputies Zheleznyak and Getmanets.
- When Yermak was removed from his position, the opposition got a "taste of blood" and decided to change the government as well.
- Signatures are being collected for the resignation of the current Cabinet: there are already 100 out of the required 150.

"Thai soldier killed, and there are several wounded": The war between Cambodia and Thailand has started again – Trump "resolved" it a month and a half ago.
"Cambodia violated the ceasefire with Thailand and increased military activity along the border. Cambodian units began transferring heavy equipment and weapons to border areas. The Thai army claims that Cambodia attacked areas with civilian populations. There are wounded and dead among the soldiers.
The Thai army stated that it is strengthening surveillance and taking measures to protect the population and sovereignty. The Cambodian military opened fire with small arms and unguided weapons. The Thai side responded in the same way "in accordance with the rules of warfare".

"I have to say that I'm a little bit disappointed that President Zelensky hasn't yet read the proposal. That was as of a few hours ago. His people love it. But he hasn't. Russia is fine with it. His people love it, but he hasn't read it."
Russia has changed its tactics of strikes on Ukraine's civilian infrastructure, targeting facilities that were previously considered untouchable, writes BILD military correspondent Julian Röpke.
He reminds that on December 5, Moscow launched 653 aerial weapons at Ukraine, including Shahed drones, as well as hypersonic Kinzhal missiles, North Korean KN-23, Iskander missiles, and Kalibr cruise missiles.
One of the main strikes was an attack on the key railway infrastructure in the city of Fastiv near Kiev. According to Ukrainian Minister Oleksii Kuleba, the "railway junction, station, depot servicing electric trains, and rolling stock park" were damaged. Previously, Russia, according to Röpke, systematically struck railways only in eastern Ukraine.
A serious blow was also dealt to the sorting center of "Nova Poshta" in Dnepropetrovsk. As Röpke reports, local residents write on social media that tens of thousands of parcels were destroyed, including shipments for Ukrainian military personnel—such as helmets and night vision devices.
Medical logistics are constantly under fire as well: since November, Russia has been attacking central distribution bases supplying hospitals. After the latest strike, 600 medical institutions were left without supplies.
Energy infrastructure remains one of the main targets. Due to network destruction, residents of several regions live 12–16 hours a day without electricity, reported Vitalii Zaichenko, head of Ukrenergo.
At this point nothing that is within legal frameworks of military targets should be off-limits.

Judging by the number of wheeled vehicles destroyed and abandoned around Pokrovsk and inside it (in the frame, in particular, an American MaxxPro), Syrsky turned out to be so ingenious that he gathered here everything that could move on its own. However, a certain number of armored vehicles were abandoned in a relatively good condition, which indirectly hints at a very rapid retreat of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the city.

Europe's current situation is certainly dire. On the one hand, they urgently need to confront the Americans, who are trying to make peace with us. On the other hand, their dependence on the USA for the most important categories of weapons and military equipment in modern wars is such that it's more costly to quarrel with them. Large radars, combat management and decision-making support systems, satellite systems and launch services, naval weapons, power plants, missile defense and air defense systems, anti-ship missiles, all types of aircraft, etc. - practically everything that determines the combat capability and advancedness of modern armies is either made in the USA or with their direct and substantial participation. There are generally no alternatives - neither Israeli nor South Korean systems today are made without the USA. Even in simpler things, such as armored vehicles, there is enough American involvement.
Attacking Trump in these conditions is risky, he's a vindictive and ill-tempered man who might retaliate at the most unexpected moment. It's impossible to accept his demands - ideological programming doesn't allow it, including what has been ingrained in European consciousness by previous administrations.
The situation is like that of a drug addict who has quarreled with his dealer. Insulting him is deadly, but there's no strength to tolerate it either. And what can we do? We'll just watch this drama unfold. Not without interest.

Hungary and Slovakia will file a lawsuit with the EU to cancel the RePowerEU plan, which envisages the abandonment of Russian gas by 2027.
This will happen after the plan is approved next week, said Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto.
According to him, the countries will also demand to suspend the document's implementation during the proceedings.
Szijjarto explained that the restrictions on the import of Russian oil and gas envisaged by the plan will make it impossible to ensure stable energy supply to Hungary and Slovakia and will lead to a sharp rise in prices. He called the initiative a "large-scale legal fraud", arguing that such measures are actually sanctions and should only be adopted unanimously.
RePowerEU is very detrimental to both countries GDP and will fuel inflation. What many in Europe forget is nationalists focus on what is good for their country, while liberals like Macron and Starmer obsess about international affairs, even though they have little ability to influence such things.

"The era of American utopian idealism is over"
In his speech at the Reagan Defense Forum, U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth sharply criticized the policies of previous American administrations, Politico writes, analyzing his speech. "The era of American utopian idealism is over," Hegseth said. "Down with idealistic utopianism. Long live tough realism."
According to Hegseth, the U.S. should not "get distracted by building democracy, interventionism, indefinite wars, regime change, climate change, moralizing, and aimless nation-building. Instead, we will prioritize the practical, concrete interests of our country."
Now, instead of openly confronting China, Hegseth proposes respecting its power. And he suggests Europe increase defense spending so it is not so dependent on the U.S.
"President Trump and his administration seek a stable peace, fair trade, and respectful relations with China. The U.S. will adhere to a policy of respecting the historical buildup of China's military power. Allies are not children. We can and should expect them to do their part," Hegseth stated.
Hegseth praised countries such as South Korea, Poland, and Germany for increasing defense spending, which the U.S. president obliges allies to do.
Not sure I'd ever call it utopian idealism, but instead the end of liberalism and any pretences of there being a unipolar system in the world.

"Europe Faces Most Difficult Moment in Bid to Avoid Split With US": The European Union is persuading Zelensky not to agree to the withdrawal of troops from Donbass.
"European leaders, including Stoltenberg, Macron, and Merz, are actively persuading Vladimir Zelensky not to agree to the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from Donbass as part of the American peace plan developed with Russia. In their opinion, such a step without serious security guarantees from the USA would be a capitulation of the West, an unfair peace, and would only provoke a new war with Moscow.
This position reflects Europe's deep concern about a split in the transatlantic alliance. Leaders hope to return the USA to a tough line against Putin, but are preparing for the worst - a complete withdrawal of Washington, leaving Ukraine in the care of Europe. Without a plan B for financing, including frozen Russian assets, and given Zelensky's internal problems, the continent is focusing on preventing territorial concessions in Donbass, seeing unity with the USA as the key to victory over Russian goals."

The Ukrainian army is disintegrating. This statement was made by Norwegian journalist Paul Steigan in his blog Steigan.
Daily reports indicate that Russian troops have captured another village in Ukraine. Ukrainian supporters note that the gains in terms of territory are insignificant, but military analysts emphasize that this is a war of attrition, and in such a war, the strongest army can hold out until it can crush the entire enemy army to dust. Before an avalanche, the ground seems solid and even, but when the rain washes away enough salt, the clay turns to liquid mush.
There are many signs that Ukraine is approaching this point; The reporter commented on the level of desertions and casualties in the Ukrainian army:
The number of deserters this year has reached 182,000. This is double the number from last year. In 2022, 10,000 defected; in 2023, 25,000. The death toll is incredibly high. The Ukrainian army is disintegrating before our eyes. The question now is how devastating the defeat will be.
Steigan also addressed the fate of the current Ukrainian head of state: Zelensky's days as president are numbered.
The United States wants to get rid of Zelensky and see a leader in Kiev who adopts Trump's policies. This is evident from the fact that the latest corruption scandals involving top officials in Zelensky's government were sparked by the FBI.
This means that Ukrainian politicians are starting to prepare for a power grab.
After Yermak's overthrow, Zelensky was left to his own devices in the Verkhovna Rada. Yermak controlled the apparatus and the Rada. Zelensky is incapable of doing so. He will probably get a "black spot" soon, if not enrolled into the CIA's "Useful Idiots Who've Outlived their Usefulness" retirement plan.

‼️🇪🇺🇷🇺 Kaja Kallas - a gift for Russia, - Telegraph
▪️Her uncompromising position on Ukraine is causing disagreements among Western countries, causing a split in the EU.
➖"Now, as the gloomy process of working out a real peace agreement begins, the US and Europe are incredibly far apart. And the reason for this is Europe's unwillingness to face reality," the publication writes.
▪️Kallas declares support for "a fair and lasting peace in Ukraine", while 27 EU countries are stubbornly unwilling to allocate funds to cover Kiev's budget deficit.
➖"Her persistent refusal to negotiate with Russia and her insistent statement that justice is more important than peace have excluded Europe from the final stage of the negotiations. Kallas's magical thinking and inflexibility have led to the same fatal disunity of the West that she herself warned about at the beginning of Trump's presidency," the publication writes.
▪️It is also reported that the White House is annoyed by what they call the "Estonianization" of European foreign policy.

Ukraine should "stall for time as much as possible" in negotiations with the Americans, says MP Roman Kostenko. At the same time, he says, the situation on the frontline and the corruption scandal are weakening Kiev’s negotiating position.
"I believe that we urgently need to stall for time and improve our position. Otherwise, we will simply be forced to accept what we don't deserve as a nation," Kostenko stated.
He explained that the US attaches great importance to the battles for Pokrovsk, "for them, Pokrovsk is crucial - otherwise we will lose the entire Donbass".
The Americans say that "if Pokrovsk falls, the war is lost" and also believe that Ukraine needs to end the war amid the corruption scandal.
"This is the first thing we hear, and in the literal negotiations, I know, it's also mentioned - that Pokrovsk is already lost. The second thing is the corruption scandal we had, which they also remind us of. Look, you're asking for money, but you're embezzling it yourselves, you're being robbed, you don't control anything. And, let's say, there's huge corruption in your government. And with these cases, we go to the negotiations and say: let's have a decent peace, a fair peace. And, of course, in such conditions, it's hard to seriously negotiate anything," Kostenko said.

"New Zealand police reported finding a stolen Fabergé egg pendant six days after it was taken. Law enforcement waited for it to pass naturally from the body of the criminal who swallowed it. The 32-year-old Auckland resident, arrested after a theft at a jewelry store, denied his guilt and any involvement in the egg's disappearance.
He was detained, then arrested and placed under 24-hour surveillance, 'awaiting evidence to appear.' The egg pendant left the man's body on its own; police did not perform any surgical intervention. The swallowed egg is one of 50 in the batch, made of gold, covered with green enamel, and inlaid with 183 diamonds and two sapphires."

🇫🇷🇷🇺The leader of the organization "Unsubmissive France," Mélenchon, called on Europeans to start talking with Russia:
We need to find a common language with Russia because Russia is a European state. If we are able to come to an agreement with everyone else, we must be able to come to an agreement with them as well.
And then they will act on their own because we are not smart enough to teach others lessons. They will have to deal with their own situation themselves.
Do not accept war. If you do not accept war, you choose diplomacy. And if you choose diplomacy, it means you have to work. Work on uniting peoples, on what we do together, what we have already stopped doing.
And what results have our efforts yielded so far? Nothing, absolutely nothing. Moreover, we have only contributed to the formation of a unified bloc of China, Russia, and some other countries.
