The process of constructing protective hangars at the Akhtubinsk airfield in the Astrakhan region.
A year ago, this airbase was attacked by Ukrainian drones, as a result of which a Su-57 fighter was damaged, for which there were no hangars at the time.

The US has used up 15-20% of its global THAAD missile stockpile in just 11 days defending Israel from Iranian missiles
▪️Military Watch Magazine notes that with each THAAD interceptor launch costing an estimated $12-15 million, air defense operations using the system deployed in Israel have cost between $810 million and $1.215 billion.
Moving all those assets around and factoring in various misses, I’d suspect the numbers too low.

Russia will become even stronger after the war in Ukraine and is really preparing for a possible invasion of NATO countries - BILD.
▪️The Kremlin is increasing the size of the army to 1.5 million people, doubling the length of service to two years and mobilizing about 200,000 conscripts annually. In the event of Ukraine's defeat, Russia will have time to recover and can force tens of thousands of Ukrainian troops to switch sides.
▪️Meanwhile, Russian talk shows are seriously discussing strikes on Lisbon, Paris and Berlin, while in Germany some are still underestimating the threat.
Lisbon? Nah, they are ok.
Seriously who believes this insane propaganda?

Italian journalist Travaglio: "si vis bellum, spara ballem" (mock Latin for "if you want war, spew bullshit").
"The only serious thing that NATO should have done, not today but since the Warsaw pact disappeared, would have been to disband for lack of enemies.
Instead, since then, it has invented them. Indeed, it lets its US masters invent them at the drop of a hat, always coming up with a new empire of evil: the Shia Iran, Sunni Iraq, the Afghanistan of the Taliban (who the west liked so much when they were fighting the Russians), the Sunni ISIS (which they themselves created), again the Shiite Iran, the allies of Russia such as the Serbia of Milosevic and the Libya of Gaddafi, then Russia directly.
Now, however, Trump has reached an agreement with Putin, who has given him help in appeasing the Ayatollah and to transform the war to Iran into a one-night stand and can return useful to him in the Middle East and with China.
In fact, at the NATO summit at the Hague, he redacted out every hint to the "Russian aggression in Ukraine": only the "threat" of Moscow remained, without specifying for whom and why, and a note on China that had just become good after the Trumpian tariffs and has immediately resumed being a baddy because it will be gobbling Taiwan up with Moscow (as if XI needed Putin).
"So we will break the kidneys to China as well", as Mussolini used to say, which however is a problem as China overlooks the Pacific while NATO is the alliance of the North Atlantic (but this, Rutte & C. will discover only if they take a look at a world map).
The beauty is that, while the last remaining enemy disappears, NATO approves a monstrous rearmament plan that will be fronted by Europe, which hasn't spent so much since the II World War (5% of GDP, while the US remain at 3).
To defend itself from whom, nobody knows. "Always from Russia", the trumpeters of the rearmament repeat, forced to invent some new lies every day to make us digest taxes and defense spending that we would have rejected even at the time of the Cold War.
They say that the Russians are getting their asses kicked in Ukraine, but are about to invade the Baltic, Finland, Poland and Germany (at least); But they forget to explain what Putin would do with those territories, why he would attack the friends of his friend Trump, and with what forces he would repel the 32 NATO armies.
They say that the US are tired of maintaining our defense, as if their bases in Europe were a favor to us and not an interest of theirs (in fact they haven't withdrawn a marine, a missile, a nuclear warhead).
They say that 5% is not so bad because they are not weapons (in fact the manufacturers of tanks, missiles, bombs and bombers are soaring at the stock market) but cybersecurity and infrastructure like the bridge over the Messina strait, very useful to our soldiers to stop the Russian invaders between Scylla and Charybdis of Odyssean memory.
In practice, the accountant Ugo Fantozzi Rutte and the other Donald-lickers first robs us with the rearmament, then will calmly decide what are those weapons going to be used for.
In April Trump said: "There is a row to kiss my ass." He talked about Europe, for the record."

The Trump Administration is reportedly discussing the possibility of providing Iran access to as much as $30 Billion to build a civilian-energy-producing nuclear program, as well as through easing sanctions and freeing up billions of dollars in restricted Iranian funds, as part of a plan to deescalate tensions with Iran and bring them back to the negotiating table for a future nuclear deal with the United States. Some details were hashed out in a secret, hours-long meeting between U.S. Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff and several Gulf Nations at the White House last Friday, the day before U.S. military strikes against Iran, two sources familiar with the meeting told CNN.

🇫🇷 FRANCE. SHOOTING IN NÎMES. AT LEAST SEVEN INJURED, ONE SERIOUSLY, SUSPECTS ON THE RUN
A new shooting broke out this Friday 27 June in the early evening in Nîmes, in the district of Valdegour, not far from Pissevin, an area known for its high level of insecurity and drug trafficking.
According to a source close to the investigation quoted by Le Parisien, six people were injured by bullets, one of them in absolute emergency. Three armed individuals are believed to have fired the shots and are currently being actively sought by the police.
According to initial findings, the shots came from a heavy weapon, says Le Midi Libre. This new episode of gun violence comes in an area already scarred by several deadly shootings, including the August 2023 shooting that claimed the life of a 10-year-old boy and the February 2024 shooting.
Despite the opening of a police station in the district in August 2024, which was quickly burnt down, the security situation remains worrying.

French Press: Russia seizes the Shevchenko mine.
With the complete liberation of the village of Shevchenko by the RUAF, Russia is now in control of two of Ukraine's largest lithium deposits out of four. The Shevchenko deposit in particular is theorised to be the largest in all of Europe, containing an estimated 13 million tons of ore between high quality lithium, niobium, tantalum, and beryllium.
Discovered by Soviet prospectors in the '80s, the mine had its rights sold to the British by the Poroshenko executive for a pathetic sum of 180 millions.
The deposit was a critical geostrategic asset coveted by both the EU and the USA because of their plans for the green transition and to decouple themselves from dependency on China. Its loss represents a cutting blow to European high-tech aspirations.
There are going to be some very dramatic moments in the Main Street pigsty now. But it can only get worse for them: there's still two deposits in Kirovograd left to liberate...

A battalion commander sent people to their deaths so that his unit would be withdrawn from the front line due to heavy losses.
This was told by a Ukrainian soldier who decided to go AWOL.
The battalion commander's position was occupied by a junior lieutenant. Of the 12 people he sent on a combat mission, two returned at best.
The way to get a leave is to transfer 30 thousand to the commander's bank card.

Ukraine will increase the number of long-range strikes on Russian territory "several times," Umerov said.
According to the defense minister, last year Ukraine contracted several tens of thousands of long-range drones, "which allowed us to regularly carry out high-precision strikes on critical targets deep in enemy territory."
"About two weeks ago, a decision was made to increase the number of operations several times, and the contracting of new tens of thousands of long-range drones is already being prepared in order to increase the intensity and scale of strikes," Umerov said.

Oxycodone Found in US-Backed Aid Flour Bags
The Gaza Media Office has issued a statement accusing Israeli and U.S.-backed aid centers of committing a “heinous crime” after citizens found narcotic pills—identified as Oxycodone—hidden inside flour bags distributed through the controversial “death trap” centers.
➤ Four separate testimonies have been collected so far, with officials warning that some pills may have been crushed and mixed into the flour itself—posing a direct threat to public health.
➤ Avoid the aid centers, inspect all flour, and report any suspicious substances.
➤ Asks the UN and ICC to immediately shut down the aid centers and enforce aid delivery only through the UN.
➤ According to Gaza authorities, the so-called “death traps” have already caused the deaths of 549 people, injured over 4,000, and led to 39 deaths from starvation in just a month

68% of Americans now live day-to-day, while the government spends one trillion in defense.
PYMNTS' latest report shows that 684 US adults out of 1,000 barely manage to stay afloat living paycheck by paycheck. 1 in 4 cannot even pay the monthly bills without getting indebted more.
At this point, is it because "they're not working hard enough" as the one percenters insist, or is it because the FED keeps the money printers going and creates unbearable inflation that directly impacts on the average Joe's standards of living?
With one more trillion in defense budget and the "big beautiful bill" coming right up next, is the worse yet to come?
