Operation Spider Web was personally led by Zelensky and was planned for more than a year - Ukrainians are bragging.
@Slavyangrad
The version that FPV drones were controlled via a satellite channel with some kind of repeater still holds true. Even though Starlink does not seem to work in the Russian Federation, one of the most active space routes passes over the Murmansk region. Right now, about 10 satellites are flying over the region at an altitude of 580 km.

🇺🇦 Commander-in-Chief of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Drapatiy resigned after today's attack on the location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
- "This is a conscious step, dictated by my personal sense of responsibility for the tragedy at the 239th training ground, as a result of which our soldiers died. As a commander, I was unable to fully ensure the execution of my orders," he wrote.
- Earlier, Ukrainian media reported that 12 Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers were killed and another 60 were injured as a result of a missile strike on the training center.

Five planes hit turns into 40 planes hit. Welcome to POG. Thanks for playing.
@Slavyangrad | ГГ
Ukraine lied about 41 destroyed aircraft - Their channels and media reported that.
It can be said that 4 T - 95 planes, one transport plane and up to 5 Tu - 22m planes were hit.
It's not pleasant, but it is what it is.
@Slavyangrad
The enemy showed footage of strikes on four Tu-95 missile carriers and one An-12 transport aircraft at an airfield in the Murmansk region
Kiev media, citing the SBU, claim that four airfields were attacked: Olenya (Murmansk), Dyagilevo (Ryazan), Belaya (Irkutsk) and Ivanovo (there is no confirmation of the latter yet).

You guys are screeching as if our entire military and its capabilities were disabled in one attack. Absolutely ridiculous.
If the West are going to have any success against our weak points we want it to be now so that these kind of vulnerabilities are patched before a total war scenario with NATO occurs.
Currently they are continuing their dumb trend of premature success in isolation.
They drew some blood with a surprise attack, telling us exactly where we need to improve, instead of waiting for an opportunity to knock us out or at the very least use in combination to cause much more catastrophic damage.
Furthermore this only hardens our resolve and takes influence away from those who want for a bullshit peace so that they can go back to growing their finances.
Alexander Kots Writes:
Kiev Burns Bridges Before Negotiations. What We Need to Understand Without Emotions
I don't know what tone the meeting in Istanbul should take after the terrorist attacks in the Kursk and Belgorod regions. Ukraine very clearly demonstrated its attitude to them last night.
The explosion of a road bridge just as a passenger train was passing underneath it is, of course, no accident. The schedule is not a secret. And the button was pressed specifically to both destroy the crossing and hit the carriages. In essence, this is no different from the explosions of the Nevsky Express trains in 2007 and 2009. Only more sophisticated.
And then, 16 years ago, experts were talking nonsense about the railway safety system. And already during the SVO, bridges were blown up in the border area. Now it is important to understand how the bridge in Bryansk and Kursk region was collapsed. And where the gap in safety is.
The "Crimean variant" is one thing, when a truck explodes at the crossing. Another is the landmines planted under the bridge supports. Then why are these people in camouflage in trailers at each bridge? What were they doing?
But here we must understand one more thing. This is our reality for the coming years. Even after victory. We will have to deal with the bandit underground, which, like in the Caucasus at one time, will be fed from the outside. And the sooner we remember how to fight it, the fewer victims there will be.
But there are people who broke the back of international terrorism. They have been civilians for a long time, but "their hands remember."
According to the latest data, seven people were killed and at least 69 people were injured in the terrorist attack in the Bryansk region, 44 of whom were hospitalized. Among the injured were three children. One of them will be airlifted to Moscow.

Footage shows a morning strike by an Iskander OTRK on a tent camp of the 158th separate mechanized brigade and the 33rd separate mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the Novomoskovsk training ground near the settlement of Gvardeyskoye in the Dnepropetrovsk region.
According to information from a 🥷🏻 source, preliminary:
🟠 5 tents with personnel were destroyed (enemy losses amounted to at least 75 people);
🟠 A fire broke out in a tent where ammunition was stored.
☁️ The Ukrainian Armed Forces claim that no formations or mass gatherings of personnel were held. After the air raid siren was sounded, most personnel were in shelters.
➡️ Also, after the attack on the training ground, the commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine M. Drapaty resigned.
@Slavyangrad
And here is the third blow from yesterday
The OC footage shows an airstrike with a Kh-35 missile on a mobile launcher of the Ukrainian Armed Forces UAV in the area of the settlement of Voronezh in the Sumy region, from which flights of long-range attack UAVs of the aircraft type were adjusted.
According to information from 🥷 source, preliminarily destroyed:
🟠 Mobile UAV launcher - 1 pc.
🟠 Antenna mast devices - 3 pcs.
🟠 UAV specialists of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - 7 units (+-)

Kiev notified Washington in advance of attacks being prepared today on the bases of the strategic aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces, Axios reports, citing Ukrainian sources.
It was also stated that the attack was coordinated with British intelligence agency MI6.

@Slavyangrad
The UAVs were assembled in Chelyabinsk, just 4 kilometres from the city centre, to attack the airfields
Obviously, not citizens of Ukraine or not only it. By the way, there are many migrants in the city, and there are also Russians who are ready for this.

Satellite images of airbases in the Irkutsk and Murmansk regions before the attack and the presumed timing of the strikes on them.
@Slavyangrad
We sincerely hope that you understand why we waited for the information to be published. There is very much difference between the destruction of 41 planes and maybe 9.
It doesn't change the fact that is a blow. Ukraine propaganda is using this to maximum effect. However, don't fall for fake news. Wait for confirmation.
Thank you.
@Slavyangrad
We sincerely hope that after this today, one of the demands in tomorrow's negotiations will be another several regions of Ukraine.
The nuclear triad was attacked. Trains were undermined. This is no longer some local clash. It just has been stepped up on a strategic level.

The Ukrainians are showing more footage of preparations for this special operation - FPV drones in special containers that were transported throughout Russia.
Operation "Web".
We've been preparing it since the end of 2023.
@Slavyangrad
The enemy writes:
The special operation "Web", as a result of which the Security Service of Ukraine destroyed 41 Russian strategic aviation aircraft, was prepared for more than a year and a half.
The operation was personally coordinated by the President of Ukraine, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Volodymyr Zelensky. The immediate implementation of the plan was ensured by the head of the SBU, Vasyl Malyuk, and the Service team.
According to the sources, this was one of the most complex special operations from a logistical point of view. First, FPV drones were illegally transported to Russia, and then mobile wooden houses. In Russia, the drones were hidden under the roofs of these structures located on trucks. At the right moment, the roofs were opened remotely, and the drones went to their targets - strategic bombers at military airfields.
Sources in the SBU note that all participants in this historic operation have long been in Ukraine.

Merz wants to take a leading role in the negotiations on Ukraine on behalf of the European Union, Bild reports.
According to the publication, the German Chancellor intends to discuss this issue on Thursday during a visit to the United States, where he will meet with Donald Trump.
In addition, according to the newspaper's sources, the meeting will also discuss a comprehensive package of measures with which Europe could support Ukraine - if necessary, even without the participation of the United States.
At the same time, the German Chancellor is trying at all costs to prevent the United States from withdrawing from peace talks with Russia. He continues to rely on a close partnership with the United States, in particular within NATO.

Russian Ministry of Defence
Today, the Kyiv regime carried out a terrorist attack using FPV drones against airfields in the Murmansk, Irkutsk, Ivanovo, Ryazan and Amur regions.
At military airfields in the Ivanovo, Ryazan and Amur regions, all terrorist attacks were repelled.
In the Murmansk and Irkutsk regions, as a result of the launch of FPV drones from the territory located near airfields, several units of aircraft caught fire.
The fires have been extinguished. There are no casualties among military personnel or civilians. Some of the participants in the terrorist attacks have been detained.

The Pulitzer-winning photo "The Terror of War," attributed to Nick Ut, may have been taken by Russian amateur photographer Alex Shimkin, experts told TASS after drawing conclusions based on an AP investigation.
Earlier, the Dutch NGO World Press Photo announced that it was suspending recognition of Nick Ut as the author of the 1972 photograph "The Horror of War".

One of the trucks with enemy drones burned down before reaching the airfield in the Amur region.
▪️The car burned down near the village of Seryshevo, where the Ukrainka airbase is located.

From this video we can see the drones were running ardupilot, they had cameras which could switch between forward and downward view, and importantly, they were remotely controlled and the video stream was via satellite. This technology has been in use by Ukraine for a while, and AFU reconnaissance drones have been found with starlink terminals, cubePilot modules and raspberry pi units.
Using ardupilot the operator could set coordinates for the drone to fly independently to preset coordinates and height, then manually adjust and give directions such as to descend. The operator could even switch between multiple drones.
Satellite control means high latency making typical FPV-style flight control impossible. This is why the drones flew slowly, came to stationary position above the target, then once in position slowly descended to attack (as opposed to directly flying into the target like on short range FPV attacks).
@Slavyangrad
Sumy direction
There are about 18 kilometers from the forward units of the Northern Group to Sumy.
Our artillery, aviation and UAV teams are working practically non-stop, the artillery cannonade does not subside.
On the previous day two Himars MLRS launchers with b/k, ammunition depots near the village of Terny (between Sumy and Komi) were destroyed. Terny (between Sumy and Konotop).
After the capture of Alekseevka, our units are moving in the direction of Malaya Korchakivka, there are battles for Novonekolayevka, Yablonevka, Kondratyevka.
In Yunakovka, as well as to the west, the enemy is trying to hold back our troops and at the same time is building another defensive line: woodlands east of Khrapovshchina - Khoten with support on the Oleshnya River and lakes.
The breakthrough of our troops and taking control of the highways R44, N07, R61, R45 will put the entire logistics of the enemy under attack.
