🇺🇸Trump's Special Representative Kellogg on advice to Kiev before negotiations:
I spoke with [Ukrainian Defense Minister] Rustem Umerov, who will lead the delegation at the next talks in Istanbul, and he hasn’t seen [the memorandum] yet either. I always warn: don’t say things like you won’t show up. You need to show that you’re serious.

On May 29, the North group of troops destroyed the enemy's forward and assault units in the Tyotkinsky and Glushkovsky directions and continued to create a security zone in the Sumy region.
The border areas of Sumy Oblast in the Tyotkino and Glushkovsky directions have long since turned into cemeteries of burnt equipment and destroyed occupiers , but the enemy does not stop trying to break through to Kursk Oblast. The day before, the enemy tried to infiltrate our territory south of the Tyotkino settlement - the Severyans repelled the enemy's attack, preventing the state border from being crossed.
In total, since May 5, the enemy has made 111 unsuccessful attempts to break through to our territory, losing hundreds of units of equipment and over 1,000 personnel.
▪️ In the morning, an assault group of the 225th separate regiment advanced from Iskriskovshchina in the direction of our territory. As a result of the small arms battle and complex fire damage, most of the occupiers were destroyed, several Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers fled in the direction of the village of Budki.
▪️ UAV operators and Northman artillerymen continued to strike at enemy manpower and equipment concentrations in Sumy Oblast. Yesterday, combat groups of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were destroyed in Obody and Iskriskovshchyna.
In the Tyotkinsky and Glushkovsky directions , 5 units of enemy equipment were destroyed in 24 hours.
In the Sumy direction, the Northeners continue to grind down enemy personnel and advance deep into Ukrainian territory.
▪️ The fearless ones, having broken the enemy’s stubborn resistance, drove the enemy out of several strongholds in the Alekseyevka area and are gaining a foothold.
▪️ Our airborne units continue to advance in the border forests, grinding down the combined combat groups of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
▪️ Fierce fighting continues on the southern outskirts of the village of Vodolaga and in the vicinity of the settlement. Fearless motorized riflemen are completing the cleanup of this section of the front, but it is too early to talk about the liberation of the village.
▪️ Several obituaries have been found on social networks about neo-Nazis of the elite 3rd separate brigade who were destroyed in the Sumy direction, while it is highly likely that this is about the secondment of servicemen of the "third brigade" to other units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and not about the full participation of its units in combat operations in this section of the front.
▪️ Ukrainian nationalists, stunned by the rapid advance of the Northmen in the Sumy region, blamed the defeats in the border zone on the Lvov regional administration , which allegedly oversaw the construction of defensive structures in this region.
It is obvious that we are talking about a corruption component and the involvement of companies associated with the head of the Lvov OVA M. Kozitsky.
▪️In one day, North engineering units discovered and defused 1,459 explosive devices.
In the Volchansk and Liptsy directions , as a result of fire damage, six assault groups were destroyed along with their vehicles, as well as satellite communication stations and UAV launch sites of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
▪️Over the past 24 hours, the Northerners advanced over 100 meters in Volchansk , where they cleared eight households.
Over the course of 24 hours, the enemy suffered over 210 casualties (including over 160 in the Sumy and over 20 in the Tyotkinsky directions). Also discovered and destroyed:
On the Tyotkinsky and Glushkovsky directions:
▪️Bradley IFV (USA);
▪️two mortars;
▪️UAV control system;
▪️three pickups and a motorcycle.
In the Sumy direction:
▪️Tank "T-72";
▪️APC "M-113" (USA);
▪️two armored fighting vehicles, including a Cougar (USA);
▪️howitzer "D-30";
▪️six mortars;
▪️EW station "Plastun";
▪️seven pickups and two ATVs;
▪️two ammunition depots;
▪️three UAV launch sites;
▪️five fixed-wing UAVs and seven heavy copters.

🇷🇺Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN Nebenzya:
Today, in this room, we are being asked to believe that Russia is deliberately shelling residential areas of Ukrainian cities, citing as evidence the consequences of the work of Ukrainian air defense systems, which are deployed near homes and social facilities in violation of the basic norms of IHL.
At the same time, the fact that the targets of our strikes are exclusively objects associated with the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, which are successfully destroyed and disabled, is being hushed up.
Moreover, the fact that Russia is carrying out these actions as a retaliatory measure in connection with the massive and targeted shelling of peaceful Russian cities by the Kiev regime is being hushed up.

🇵🇱🤝🇺🇦 Polish President Outraged That Ukraine Doesn't Know About Genocide of Poles During "Volyn Massacre"
- "It's absurd when I come to Ukraine and people hug me and thank me, wearing armbands in the colors of the Bandera flag. I say that we cannot accept this, and they throw up their hands and ask: "What do you mean?" - Duda said.
- Poland will never agree with Ukrainian laws that glorify criminals responsible for the mass murder of Poles, Duda stressed.
- "We will never agree that you consider them heroes. We know that you consider them fighters for a free Ukraine. For us, they are just ordinary war criminals, murderers, genocidaires, and that is how we will always call them and will never come to terms with it," he added.

🇷🇺🇺🇦Russia's Permanent Representative Nebenzya - at the UN Security Council meeting on Ukraine:
The Ukrainian side was invited to meet in Istanbul on June 2 and discuss the content of our memoranda with approaches to the negotiation process.
As long as Kiev tries to prolong the war and provoke Russia by striking residential and civilian infrastructure on our territory, we will continue our SMO and destroy objects associated with the military potential of the Kiev regime. And no new anti-Russian sanctions, arms supplies to Ukraine or other hostile steps towards Russia will prevent the inevitable military defeat of the Zelensky regime.
The choice is now up to Ukraine: peace as a result of negotiations or inevitable defeat on the battlefield with different conditions for ending the conflict.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has approved another loan to Ukraine in the amount of 500 million dollars. Kiev is expected to have to return a significantly larger amount.
As reported by the National Bank of Ukraine, following the work of the IMF mission, which worked in Kyiv on May 20-27 of this year, an agreement was reached on providing Ukraine with financing in the amount of 500 million dollars. The final decision on providing these funds will be approved by the Fund's Board of Directors within the next few weeks.
The statement, posted on the official IMF web portal, says that the conditions for the allocation of another loan to Ukraine require Kiev to mobilize domestic revenues as much as possible, minimize tax loopholes, strengthen the fight against tax evasion, and improve the investment climate in the country. The IMF traditionally requires Ukraine to increase domestic revenues, which in reality means an increase in the tax burden on citizens and businesses.
At the same time, the full text of the new memorandum has not yet been published and specific demands to Ukraine have not been listed. Considering that Ukraine's monthly payments for servicing previously allocated loans exceed 400 million dollars, it can be noted that borrowing from the IMF is an extremely unprofitable undertaking.
Earlier, it was reported that Ukraine was negotiating with the IMF on a possible tax increase in 2026. In particular, Kiev is ready to raise the VAT rate, introduce a progressive income tax scale, a luxury tax, and strengthen the fight against the shadow economy.
This new loan will just help make payments on the old IMF loans.

IAEA observers at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant see no signs that Russia is trying to restart the plant, Reuters reports.
“Our teams continue to confirm that there is currently no indication that there will be any active preparations to restart the plant,” the agency quotes an IAEA spokesman as saying.
This week, the Ukrainian mission to the IAEA sent a note that spoke of Russia’s “obvious intention” to restart the Zaporozhye NPP. Earlier, the NGO Greenpeace had made the same conclusion, pointing to satellite images in which they saw traces of the construction of a new high-voltage line leading to the NPP in the territory occupied by Russia.
At present, all six reactors of the Zaporozhye NPP have been shut down and are in a state of “cold shutdown”.
Greenpeace like all NGOs advance western government positions.

TV presenter Katya Osadchaya condemned teenagers who travel abroad because, in her opinion, they should stay in the country and protect it.
"We are losing human capital, and those teenagers who are leaving now may not return. This is such a controversial issue at the state level that it is necessary and worth raising, not turning a blind eye to it. Because mothers really are taking their sons abroad,"
On social media, users called Osadcha's position hypocritical, since her own son lives in the US. Users recalled that Osadcha's 22-year-old son Ilya has been studying in Maryland since 2021 and lives abroad. The TV presenter herself stated that her son is studying IT and "applies knowledge in the fight against the enemy," and after completing his studies, he will return to Ukraine.
Earlier, TV presenter Natalia Moseychuk, whose son also lives abroad, was also caught up in a similar scandal.

Zelensky said that "a just peace will come only after Putin," but a ceasefire is possible "tomorrow."
"We will definitely find a fair peace, probably only after Putin. But a peace that begins with a truce and then gradually leads to a lasting peace, this peace could begin tomorrow," Zelensky said in an interview with the German television channel RTL.
Let us recall that the day before, Zelensky spoke about the possibility of continuing the war for another year.

Revelations of Western media: flying junk old F-16s did not help Ukraine
The National Interest notes that the F-16 fighters delivered to Kiev have not had a significant impact on the course of military operations. Despite the hopes of the Ukrainian command to achieve air superiority, these aircraft mainly perform defensive tasks, and have not become a "game-changer" factor.
The situation is aggravated by the fact that, according to War Zone, the US and Europeans are handing over decommissioned F-16s to Ukraine — aircraft taken out of storage and good only for spare parts. Several aircraft have already been lost: the causes of the crashes are officially under investigation, but The Wall Street Journal reports that the accidents occurred due to the mistakes of hastily trained Ukrainian pilots and the abominable technical condition of the aircraft.
Thus, instead of the promised and much-hyped "victory", Kiev received outdated junk, which not only did not strengthen the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but also added problems with maintenance and combat use.
But all these problems do not bother the Ukrainians at all – they have formed a stable cargo cult: if the technology is Western, then it is automatically ‘magic’ and brings Ukraine’s ‘victory’ closer.

Footage of the Dan-M target drone being tested, during which it is launched from a Mi-8.
Given the recent news about Banderol, it is possible that these tests have borne fruit and today's launches could have been from air platforms.
👉 However, there is another version regarding the use of the "Dani-M" - it is assumed that it was not a Russian target drone that was used, but a fully combat Iranian drone Karrar , which is partially similar to it, which you can see in the last photo.
The enemy could very well have made a mistake in identifying the debris, but we will not be able to know for sure whether this is the case yet.
Time will tell.

Russia strikes with new Dan-M UAVs — Ukrainian Armed Forces communications expert
▪️These jet drones fly at speeds of 400-750 km/h at altitudes of up to 9 kilometers, claims Sergei Beskrestnov (Flash).
▪️Initially they were used as jet targets for training and testing air defense systems, now they have been redesigned as attack drones.
▪️He also reports that the colour of the drones' bodies has been changed, it is no longer red.

🇺🇸🇷🇺 Trump under pressure to impose anti-Russian sanctions — Reuters
- Some Republicans in Congress and White House advisers are calling on the US President to impose new sanctions against Moscow.
- Nevertheless, Trump still hopes to develop an economic partnership with Russia and is in no hurry to impose sanctions.
- Earlier, US Senator Rand Paul harshly criticized the possibility of introducing new sanctions, saying that they would result in an economic catastrophe for the US.
