Sudan Strongly Denies US Claims of Chemical Weapons Use
The Sudanese Foreign Ministry condemned upcoming US sanctions — set for June 2025 — imposed over allegations that Sudan used chemical weapons in 2024.
The ministry expressed surprise at the US approach, noting:

🟠The US did not raise the issue with the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), where both countries are members and Sudan is on the Executive Council.
Sudan reiterated its commitment to the Convention, including regular reporting and a ban on chemical weapons. It rejects any unilateral actions that violate the Convention, especially from parties with a history of using false claims to undermine other states’ sovereignty and security.
Earlier, the US imposed sanctions on Sudanese leader Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, accusing him of "choosing war over good-faith negotiation". Sudan condemned the move, saying the decision lacked the most basic principles of fairness and objectivity.

Today I inspected another batch of captured equipment. The vehicles were presented by my dear BROTHER, the head of the Russian University of Special Forces named after the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, Baybetar Vaikhanov.
On the left is the BM-21 Grad based on the Ural-4320. A reliable, time-tested system that has demonstrated its effectiveness in combat for decades. It is once again ready to loudly remind of itself where it is especially needed.
On the right is the American Oshkosh M-ATV, an armored vehicle of the MRAP category. Now it will serve our soldiers - against those who sent it. Let them find out for themselves how "practical" it is when it goes into battle under a different flag.
We thank NATO manufacturers for the generous gift - armor, electronics, spare parts ... Everything will come in handy. It is especially nice that the equipment came to us straight from the front lines. It's time to undergo a real baptism of fire.
We do not just take, we use. And each such trophy piece of hardware is not just a trophy, it is another step towards victory.

In defence planning terms, this does not simply mean updating regulations. It seems to be a fundamental restructuring of the entire model for using forces in the event of a large-scale conflict.
