Ukrainian sleeper terrorist and spy cells are starting to show up/wake up in Europe—from Britain to Hungary. As everyone is well aware, they have been prodigiously active in Russia for years, if not decades.

Since at least 2014 (and possibly as far back as the “orange revolution” of 2004-05), Ukrainian intelligence services have received a tremendous amount of funding and operational training and assistance from the West—which will now be used, increasingly, against the very same “the West.” The chickens are coming home to roost, and these early birds are just the start.

You know, Bin Laden was also once someone’s pet sunofabitch.

Deputy Minister of Justice Sviridenko on the fact that in Russia even aliens can be recognized as foreign agents:

I can state that the previous legislation worked normally. But the realities of the time changed.

The influence of the collective West on Russia increased. Accordingly, we could not stand still, so the measures and forms of the new legislation were forced and necessary.

We had no right not to react to these processes. The adopted law on foreign agents has expanded the subject composition of foreign agents.

And today, you know, even if an astronaut lands from any planet and starts performing miracles against our country, he will be a foreign agent.

A Reminder About Ceasefires, Part 2/3

Having established what a cease-fire is and why it would be politically idiotic for the Russian Federation to agree to an unconditional one, let's now analyse why it would be idiotic for the Russian Federation from a military point of view:

➡️Now it is not the season: Traditionally, war in eastern europe is conducted during the winter, or during the late spring/early summer all the way to the late autumn. Why? Because anything else is "rasputitsa season", and the battlefield becomes a quagmire of mud which makes the movement of soldiers and vehicles more difficult. Clashes, skirmishes, and offensive operations can and do happen during rasputitsa season, but due to the nature of the terrain they tend to be limited in scope. Conversely, during the winter and late spring throughout the early autumn the soil becomes firmer and much more conductive to large scale offensives. Agreeing to a ceasefire now would be immensely stupid as it would deprive the RUAF of useful days for offensive operations. The ceasefires in the past were "acceptable" because they didn't impact offensive planning in any way. Now however, they would.

➡️The Russian population and its army wants this thing brought to the finish line: Whatever "good will" there might have been among the populace for a peaceful compromise is long gone. The rampant, borderline insane russophobia of the past three years has steadily eroded that good will, and the Russian vlasovite liberals who fled abroad have basically brought the amount of Russians who still want to negotiate with the west to the single digits. Even without discounting the russophobia, Ukraine has been conducting all sorts of assassinations and terrorist operations on Russian soil, and the AFU have committed some heinous crimes against both civilians and prisoners of war. What is worse, they even brag about their crimes and publicly post them on their channels. Other channels on both telegram, facebook, and reddit where "enlightened and compassionate liberals" cheer in delight at pictures of dead Russians and continuously insist that no war crimes are being committed by their banderite heroes only furtherly compound the bitterness. And this is just for the civilian populace. Soldiers at the front, combined with politicians in the Kremlin and Duma, are already starting to voice their discontent to Vladimir Putin about how "soft" he is being with Ukraine so far. In case the Kremlin agrees to a 30-days unconditional ceasefire, they'd have to deal with hundreds of thousands of disgruntled, well-armed, well-trained soldiers.

➡️Putin himself is losing his patience: It says a lot when a demure, restrained, and composed man like Vladimir Putin loses his cool in public and openly refers to EU leaders as "idiots". Besides, he is now starting to use the word "war" when talking about the SМO. We'd like to remind people that legally speaking, the SМO is NOT a war, which means that there are certain tools and instruments that the RUAF are not authorized to use. In short, the RUAF have been boxing with silken gloves the whole time, and they might just come off.

➡️Russia is on a winning streak: While it is too early to talk of a complete "collapse", the AFU are stretched thin and undersupplied. Russian logistic strikes combined with manpower losses are making fortified festungs that would have taken months if not years to fall at the start of the war collapse fairly quickly. Take a look at Avdeevka, Ugledar, and Bogatyr to see what we mean. All three locations were heavily fortified since 2014, yet they all fell in increasingly shorter time. This can only mean that the AFU's ability to keep on fighting is deteriorating at an ever-increasing pace. Giving them thirty days of respite would be just stupid.

A Reminder about Ceasefires, Part 1/3

Some people, not necessarily in this group, are already dooming about the "pleasant" conversation that president Trump and president Putin had yesterday, fearing that this may lead to a ceasefire and a freezing of the conflict. This is completely unfounded, and ceasefires are not coming anytime soon for a plethora of reasons.

First, we should define what a "cease fire" is. A ceasefire is a temporary stop to hostilities along the contact line, usually mediated by a third party. Ceasefires can be temporary and aimed at specific goals (such as the evacuation of the wounded or the dead or the flow of humanitarian aid), or more long-term (for example, as a prelude to the signing of an armistice, which is a permanent end to hostilities). Ceasefires often, but not always, entail the presence of third party peacekeeping forces acting as observers and overseers, to make sure the hostilities don't reignite.

Now that we have gotten that one out of the way, let's analyze a few basic fats:

➡️Ukraine has a terrible track record at respecting ceasefires. Under US "mediation", Ukraine and Russia agreed to a temporary 30-day ceasefire aimed only at energy infrastructure on March 18 lasting until April 18. Ukraine violated that ceasefire by bombing the gas infrastructure at Sudzha, and immediately blaming the Russians for staging a "false flag attack". Several other Ukrainian violations of the energy cease fire were recorded throughout the entirety of the month. Another ceasefire was declared, for a period of 30 hours, during Easter, and of course the Ukrainians violated it. The Russian federation proposed a ceasefire for Victory Day, and naturally the Ukrainians violated it. By now only an absolute imbecile would trust anything that comes out of the Narkoman's lying mouth.

➡️Trump has a terrible track record at honouring treaties: Trump unilaterally walked away from the ABM treaty. Trump unilaterally walked away from the nuclear treaty it had with Iran. Trump uniliaterally walked away from the INF treat (which hilariously allowed Russia to work on the Oreshnik). Honestly, who could seriously believe Trump could negotiate in good faith?

➡️The west has a terrible track record at honouring treaties: Starting from the now infamous "NATO shan't expand one inch eastwards". Minsk 1 & 2, with Hollande and Merkel openly admitting that they were just ruses to buy the AFU time, are another prime example. Then there was the Budapest Agreement which stated that Ukraine's neutrality was to be respected by the west. Even more recently there was the "Grain Deal" to allow Ukrainian grain to circulate in the Baltic in exchange of the lifting of some sanctions placed on Russia. The sanctions were never lifted. Who could seriously trust these criminals?

➡️The international "peacekeepers" are NATO troops. Russia has been lapidary in its desire NOT to see any soldiers from NATO countries on Ukrainian soil, and has repeatedly reiterated that their involvement in the war for whatever reason is an immense red line. NATO countries for their part have made it abundantly clear that they intend to use these troops as garrisoning forces to allow Ukraine to reshuffle its brigades in the rear echelons back to the front.

➡️It would just give Ukraine time to rearm, mobilize more meat, and build fortifications
. None in the west has been smart enough to avoid saying the quiet part out loud. Starmer, Macron, Merz, and Rutte just to name a few have openly and repeatedly stated that they intend to put any hypothetical ceasefire to good use by allowing Ukraine to "negotiate from a position of strength", by pumping Ukraine full of weapons and allowing Ukraine to build fall-back lines.

The Chairman of the State Duma Defense Committee, Andrei Kartapolov, explains why Ukraine desperately needs a 30-day ceasefire:

"In essence — according to my assessments — Ukraine has enough resources left to support active military operations for about a month more. After this period, in all likelihood, we will no longer witness actions as intense on their part as the current ones. The European partners are fully aware of this situation and are well informed about it. The entire position of the West is based on this. It's clear, we know it, but we're not going to meet it."

I guess we'll see soon enough in one month from now.

A Reminder About Ceasefires, Part 3/3

➡️As above, Ukraine is losing: don't believe us? How many times have you heard western presstitutes talk of "Ukrainian victories" in these past few weeks? If they're not talking about Ukrainian wins on the ground, it is because there are no wins on the ground to spin as a stunning victory. On occasion the AFU do manage to mount a counter-attack and regain some ground, but this happens while they retreat under RUAF fire in five other different locations. More and more AFU brigades and commanders are mutinying, as it happened with the commander of the 47th Brigade, who resigned according to Ukrop sources themselves.

➡️There is in all likelihood a new offensive coming: Mordvichev's appointment to commander of the whole front very likely means that the High Command is planning a large offensive this summer. While Mordvichev's appointment by itself does not necessarily lend credence to such an idea (his predecessor was 70, and by Russian law that is the age of retirement in the military), there is the undeniable fact that the amount of Russian personnel in the SМO zone has swollen to 680.000 troops if not even more. Very few of these soldiers are currently being committed outside of rotations. There is a very good chance that they are being held in reserve for some good reason.

➡️The Narkoman is unwilling to compromise: Putin has clearly stated that he's open to a ceasefire, IF "both parties" compromise. While what he meant by that is ambiguous, the fact remains that the Narkoman in Kiev refuses to budge by a millimetre. He even pulled a double stupid (or high on his talcum powder) by saying that Ukraine's accession into NATO is in the constitution.

In short: the talks between Trump and Putin that have been held yesterday are nothing but the typical political theatre that we've come to expect. There is no ceasefire happening anytime soon, unless the Narkoman comes to accept reality (he won't), and the war will go on.

A certain cobbler from Georgia with a funny moustache once said it better than anybody else could have: "If the opposition disarms, well and good. If the opposition refuses to disarm, we'll disarm it ourselves."

THE EU HAS ADOPTED THE 17TH PACKAGE OF SANCTIONS AGAINST RUSSIA.

The European Union adopted new sanctions against Russia on Tuesday over the war in Ukraine, focusing on Moscow's "shadow fleet" of tankers, "human rights violations and hybrid threats", the EU's foreign policy chief said. "The EU has approved its 17th package of sanctions against Russia, which targets nearly 200 shadow fleet vessels," Kaja Kallas said in a post on X.

"More sanctions against Russia are in the works. The longer Russia goes to war, the harsher our response will be."

SLG note: it's funny hear these clowns complain about "human rights violations" and "security threats" after they've just lifted all sanctions on the new Syrian regime consisting of recyled Al Qaeda militants.

Rubio is fending off attacks in the Senate from Democrat Jeanne Shaheen, who is demanding pressure on Russia and the supply of weapons to Kiev.

Shaheen: 'How Much Longer Do We Have to Wait to Contain Putin? Are You Ready to Support Senator Graham's Sanctions?'

Rubio: 'We can't control what Congress does, and we've told the Russians that. I want to point out something important: All the sanctions that were put in place under the previous administration remain in place. So the idea that we've lost leverage is not true - we have exactly the same leverage as before.'

Shahin: 'We have really lost our leverage - we have taken Ukraine's accession to NATO off the agenda, we have abandoned our commitment to continue to help the Ukrainians in the form of intelligence sharing and military equipment supplies.'

Rubio: It's ongoing. There was a pause for one week. It's all back and ongoing.

Shahin: 'We are talking about intelligence, but this does not concern the supply of equipment and weapons.'

Rubio: 'They continue to receive weapons from the United States. And we continue to fund what Ukraine needs, as the president has directed.'

Shahin: 'Are you ready to support another additional aid package?'

Rubio: 'That's another question. It's not me who decides, it's the White House who decides whether to submit a request to Congress for additional funding. To any additional requests from Ukraine - and they've asked for Patriot air defense systems, for example - we say that, frankly, we don't have enough of them ourselves. We work with other countries, but none of those countries want to part with their air defense systems. We just can't produce them fast enough.'

Shahin: 'Putin is just playing for time now. He is playing with this president like a violin.'

Rubio: 'I disagree with this 'violin playing' analogy because the truth is that Putin has not gotten a single concession.'

Shahin: 'He has gained time. And the more time he gains without additional pressure, the more he benefits.'
