The New York Times is growing increasingly panicked over the fact that Donald Trump has not "fallen in line" with the European Union on newer, tougher sanctions on the Russian Federation and is veering towards just washing his hands with the conflict by letting Ukraine and Russia "sort this out".
You know it's bad when a globalist megaphone like the NYT starts writing with a concerned tone and complaining that Trump is not toeing the globalist line.
Of course, we have to see if Trump will stick to his guns or change opinion in a week, and "walking away" does not mean that the USA will stop supplying Ukraine with weapons and intelligence, but if the NYT and the mopey faces on EUrocrats are anything to go by, whatever amount of control they might have had left is slipping away from their fingers.

🇷🇺 The battle for the city was intense and destructive, but in the three years since joining Russia, Mariupol has undergone a significant transformation:
🔹 1,384 apartment buildings have been restored;
🔹 2,762 private housing structures have been rebuilt;
🔹 151 social and cultural infrastructure facilities and 4 multifunctional centers have been restored;
🔹 Around 350,000 residents have returned to their hometown;
🔹 70 new facilities have been built from the ground up and put into operation, including 64 apartment buildings providing 4,778 housing units for those who lost their homes;
🔹 4,500 apartments have been provided to residents whose homes were destroyed in the fighting;
🔹 Among the most significant new developments are:
• A branch of the Nakhimov Naval School,
• A multidisciplinary medical center,
• A residential complex on Gugel Street,
• The Mariupol Vascular Center;
🔹 A new railway line connecting the city to the Republic of Crimea has also been put into operation.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces understand this - and therefore cling to every stronghold.

The disappointment on Tuesday was palpable.

In the context of a possible attack on Slavyansk and Kramatorsk, it is important to understand that these cities have been seriously fortified and prepared for defense by the Ukrainian Armed Forces since 2014. The importance of the “last line” was already recognized back then.
Geographically, both cities are located in lowlands, and at first glance, they are vulnerable. But this was precisely what was compensated for by years of engineering preparation: fortified areas, concrete bunkers.
