At least 26 vessels linked to Iran’s “shadow fleet” have continued operating since the United States implemented its terrorist blockade on 13 April, according to Lloyd’s List Intelligence.
More than 10 ships have crossed the blockade line since its expansion last week, including 11 tankers carrying Iranian cargo that departed from the Persian Gulf or the Gulf of Oman since 13 April. A Greek-owned bulk carrier that left an Iranian port on 15 April also crossed the blockade line on 19 April.
The maritime data provider, which tracks global vessel movements and trade flows, indicates that shipping activity tied to Iran remains steady despite U.S. claims that it has “completely halted” Iranian trade and turned back over 20 vessels. Iranian oil tankers continue to bypass the American blockade, and several ships departing the Gulf are carrying Iranian oil.
At least 34 oil tankers linked to Iran have reportedly managed to bypass the American blockade since its imposition. Despite Trump’s announcement that the blockade achieved “great success,” several tankers carrying Iranian oil have continued to evade it.
Six ships carrying approximately 10.7 million barrels of Iranian oil bypassed the blockade, generating estimated revenues of around $910 million.

These discussions should aim to reach common ground, reduce differences, and resolve disputes through serious academic dialogue. We should cooperate in what we agree upon and show understanding in what we differ on.
We must seek unity instead of conflict and come together for the shared interests of Islam and the Muslim community. It would be most desirable for this to take place under your capable leadership, following the path of your martyred father, may Allah have mercy on him. This would be a great and meaningful effort.

The newspaper Maariv noted in a pointed headline that the death of this agent was revealed for the first time, emphasizing that he did not die of a heart attack or in a car accident, but was assassinated. Another Hebrew-language outlet reported that during the annual memorial ceremony for Mossad personnel held today, Barnea disclosed part of the activities of the agent, known as “M,” who had been killed several years ago while carrying out a mission. Ultimately, at this stage of the war, Iran faces limited options, and how it navigates this period will be decisive in shaping the outcome.
As of now, the Americans will continue to say hourly or daily that this extension will end shortly or will not be extended. They present it as a good time for Iran to think about a deal. The real question in everyone’s mind, if considered carefully, is: who is in a weaker position? Who is asking for a deal? Who extended it? What is the world seeing about what the empire of war is doing? It is becoming clear that the Americans have, in some way, bent before the Iranian wall of resilience, and there is little to hide.
Will Iran succumb to this? No. The enemy media is using two or three major narratives: alleged divisions within Iranian command and officials over what to do, claims about Imam Mujtaba Khamenei’s response, and assertions that Iran will sit for negotiations. However, far from this narrative, Iran may use the naval blockade as a reason to retaliate against the presence of the American Navy in the coming hours or days.
Iran has already begun targeting Kurdish terror hideouts in Erbil and is managing the issue of border threats. It is unlikely that Iran will use this time for negotiations; instead, it may move toward war very soon. These developments depend on timing and unfolding effects, and it is wise to remain cautious about fake news and assumptions. Time will ultimately determine the outcome.
Finally, it can be said: Trump’s extension of the ceasefire is not entirely a war of attrition against Iran, but also a sign of retreat in the face of the resilience of a nation.

We witness that many people around the world pray day and night for the end of oppression and domination. It is seen by some that signs of change and transformation are beginning to appear through resistance and leadership under your guidance.
It is hoped that Allah will accept the prayers of the people for victory and grant a clear and decisive triumph through those who uphold the values of Islam and the Prophet Muhammad (S), and his family and companions. As it is said: “When will it be? Say: perhaps it is near.”
At this critical historical moment, when the Islamic nation places its hopes in you, I would like, with all respect and appreciation for your position and efforts, to draw your attention to an important matter: that such a victory should be regarded as a victory for Islam and Muslims as a whole. Therefore, efforts should be made to unite the divided ranks of the Ummah and raise the banner of Islam—this alone would be a source of pride and honor.
All efforts and endeavors should be directed toward strengthening Islam, supporting truth, defeating falsehood, and resisting oppression. I also sincerely hope that such a victory is not viewed as a victory for any single sect, nor used as a means to promote sectarian ideology, as this could lead to division and harm the unity of Muslims. With sincere respect and appreciation, I offer this as a piece of honest advice.
Your character is that of a man qualified for leadership, one who can overcome oppression, restrain tyrants, show compassion toward people and nations, and unite the members of the Islamic community under the banner of Islam and love for the Prophet’s family and his companions. We have heard positive accounts about the character of your martyred father, his asceticism, simplicity, patience, endurance, and firmness of position.
Based on this, the Islamic community has placed its hopes in you and has stood with you. We also stand with you and support you for this clear, strong, and firm position. We do so because the war currently taking place is seen as a struggle between Islam and oppressive and unjust forces.
I state this openly, out of responsibility and sincere advice to you and to the Islamic Republic of Iran: it is not appropriate for this victory to become a means of spreading Shiite ideology within the Islamic world.

✅ | Trump’s extension of the ceasefire — a war of attrition against Iran.
As predicted earlier, there will be no sudden end to the ceasefire with full-scale war. Instead, the gambler will continue throwing baits and tantrums to gain something before entering an adventure that has always returned to him with huge losses. In the past 40 days of battles, the most difficult period occurred for Israel and the Americans, as they have suffered significant losses—comparable to, or even greater than, Iran, along with trillion-dollar damages due to the loss of bases and military equipment. This has left Trump with only a few options: a ground invasion, border threats, and a naval blockade.
Building on this, the naval blockade is, to some extent, working against Iran and is indeed creating pressure, despite the fact that more than 26 vessels have passed through it. Trump appears to understand that Iran is planning a response. In the early days of the blockade, he reportedly detained an Iranian vessel to increase pressure and potentially use it as bait for forced negotiations, to which Iran did not respond. During the blockade, Khatm al-Anbiya Headquarters released several threatening statements, along with IRGC Aerospace Commander Sayyid Majeed Mousavi, who warned that, in retaliation, neighboring countries could be targeted. Considering these threats, Trump knows he can extend a “fire-for-fire” war, which may not break Iran but would inflict major losses on it and its counterpart, Israel.
At the same time, Trump has now shifted toward a strategy of attrition by extending the ceasefire, something Iran confirmed it did not request. In this context, Islamabad, acting in a American's supporting role, has repeatedly called for a return to negotiations and has often spread unverified reports about Iran’s acceptance and the presence of its teams, likely to create psychological pressure. Pakistan has also engaged with Turkey, Egypt, and other countries, and according to Israeli media reports, it was Pakistan that requested the United States to extend the ceasefire suggesting that the U.S. wants to present this as a gesture rather than pressure. Through this tactic of “no war, no peace,” Trump aims to impose sustained pressure on Iran, believing it could weaken or divide Iranian society while the extended naval blockade imposes severe consequences.
Meanwhile, alongside this political pressure, military preparations appear to be underway. War materials are reportedly being reassembled and positioned, with indications of planning for a possible surprise attack, which Iranian sources claim to have identified. C-17 aircraft and fuel tankers are assembling in bases in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. B-1 and B-2 strategic bombers have recently operated from RAF Fairford in the UK. Additionally, the USS George H.W. Bush carrier strike group is expected to arrive in the Arabian Sea within a few days, alongside the USS Abraham Lincoln and the USS Gerald R. Ford, to operate in the CENTCOM area.
In light of these developments, it is important to recall that before the war, countries in the region reportedly warned Trump about the potential impact and urged restraint. He proceeded regardless, overlooking allied concerns. Now, after Tehran declined to move toward Islamabad and following earlier statements that the ceasefire would not be extended, an extension has been announced—reportedly at Pakistan’s request, particularly from its military leadership. This indicates that the publicly stated reasons may not reflect the full picture.
