MORE - 21-year-old, Abdul Ballout is a German citizen, of Lebanese origin who was born in Berlin, he was released from juvenile detention in May, is known to the police for aggravated assault and extortion. Ballout is also allegedly a supporter of the Islamic State.

UPDATE - According to BILD information, the suspect allegedly left the vehicle with a bladed weapon and attacked people.
UPDATE - The police say that "several injured people" are currently being treated. The police have deployed several hundred officers to the scene and are currently searching for "one or more" suspects.
UPDATE - According to police, 14 people are currently receiving medical treatment. Several people suffered serious injuries. One person who was initially in critical condition has since died from their injuries.
