Ровно три года назад – 14 декабря 2022 года, пожалуй, самый известный русский гражданин Австралии, которого многие знают под ником Aussie Cossack, подъехал к консульству России в Сиднее и попросил политическое убежище.
Потомок забайкальских казаков родился и вырос в Австралии, но всегда любил Россию, окончил в Москве духовную семинарию, а с 2014 года активно и публично поддерживал Донбасс, вхождение Крыма в состав России.
Во время ковида, когда в Австралии действовали самые жесткие в мире ограничения, он протестовал против сегрегации – в Сиднее бедняков и мигрантов запирали в домах и контролировали с помощью полиции и армии, а богатым разрешалось свободно гулять по городу и даже отдыхать на пляжах.
А с началом СВО Семен Бойков поднимал своих сторонников на акции в поддержку России, чем в очередной раз вызвал огонь на себя.
Поэтому не было ничего удивительного в том, что в середине 2022 года Бойкова приговорили к 10 месяцам реальной тюрьмы. Поводом стало то, что он открыл имя педофила на публичном мероприятии. Хотя за такое в Австралии еще никого не сажали.
Но после вмешательства РФ, Бойкова через 4 месяца освободили условно-досрочно. Он уже планировал выехать в Россию – на прощание с кумом, погибшим в зоне СВО, получил на это разрешение, однако за несколько часов до вылета оказался в центре заукраинской акции, которая возникла ниоткуда именно там, где он был. В какой-то момент он оттолкнул 72-летнего заукраинца, который фактически напал на него, но тот картинно, как бразильский футболист, стал падать и причитать, что его едва ли не убили. Бойкова задержали, отобрали у него паспорт, вроде бы отпустили, но уже утром, когда он должен был вылетать в Москву, его поехали арестовывать.
За прошедшие три года жизни в консульстве у Семена Бойкова произошло два важных события: в сентябре 2023 года указом президента РФ Владимира Путина ему было присвоено гражданство России, а за четыре дня до нашего интервью, аккурат на трехлетие заточения, у него родился сын. Однако в остальном у Семена Бойкова «день сурка» - жить приходится в небольшой квартире на территории консульства, никуда выходить нельзя, принимать гостей - только в особых случаях, вариантов оказаться в России – пока тоже нет.
«Я носитель местного языка, менталитета - родился в Австралии, вырос. Я знаю, как лучше информацию преподнести, объяснить, рассказать. Иногда с юмором, иногда как-то иначе получается. И да, это очень сильно тревожит нашего противника, когда миллионы австралийцев переходят в пророссийское мышление, И мы это делаем таким чисто партизанским образом, без какой-либо поддержки, без плана сверху. Нам никто не указывает - ни Кремль, ни МИД, ни Россотрудничество. Ресурсов на нас нет. Но у нас есть свои ресурсы. И мы никогда не жалели их тратить», - рассказал о своей миссии Семен Бойков.
