In the absence of Syrian security forces, multiple Muslim Arab bedouin tribes have mobilized in support of the local bedouins and joined the fight against Druze militias in Suwayda governorate. Allegedly, more Arab tribes from across Syria and especially Deir-ez-Zour are also mobilizing and moving to Suwayda as well.
Multiple villages and towns have been re-captured by the advancing Arab tribal armies, and fierce clashes and battles are taking place between outnumbered Druze militias led by pro-Israel Sheikh Hikmat al-Hijri and the tribal armies.

Chandrakant Patel, an Indian-origin businessman from Oakdale, Louisiana, has been indicted alongside four U.S. law enforcement officials—including three police chiefs—for visa fraud.
According to court documents, Patel and his co-accused filed false police reports to help immigrants fraudulently obtain U visas, which are reserved for victims of serious crimes.
Patel allegedly charged thousands of dollars to immigrants for staging fake armed robbery claims. He owns two stores and a fast-food franchise in Louisiana, and received a U visa himself in 2023.

In its statement, Hizb ut-Tahrir said:

Background
Founded in Jerusalem in 1953 by Taqiuddin al-Nabhani, Hizb ut-Tahrir is a non-violent political party that seeks to establish a global Islamic Caliphate and has historically called for coups in Muslim-majority countries to replace existing governments.
