MARKETS STILL OVERPRICING FED CUTS, SAYS SOCGEN
Markets expect too many Fed rate cuts despite Chair Powell’s caution that a December cut isn’t guaranteed, says Société Générale’s Subadra Rajappa. Powell’s message: the Fed isn’t ready to move aggressively while inflation stays above target.

Since last year, luxury prices are up about 11%, versus 6% for standard homes. Wealthy buyers, often paying in cash or with small loans, aren’t waiting for lower rates—they’re confident and using real estate as a stable investment amid economic uncertainty.
