MISSING SEPTEMBER DATA SEEN AS BENIGN
Goldman Sachs economists say the delayed September jobs and inflation reports, postponed by the government shutdown, likely hold no surprises. They estimate the economy added ~80,000 jobs and CPI rose 0.26% in September, a slowdown from August’s 0.35%, suggesting a modest labor and inflation rebound.

PAUL TUDOR JONES SEES ‘MASSIVE RALLY’ BEFORE BULL MARKET PEAKS
Paul Tudor Jones told CNBC that stocks could surge sharply before a “blow-off” top, comparing today’s setup to 1999’s tech bubble.
He cited an unprecedented mix of a 6% U.S. deficit and a Fed easing cycle, unlike 1999’s surplus and rate hikes. Jones warned that while the next year could bring big gains, the eventual market peak could be sudden and steep.

EVERCORE: S&P 500 COULD HIT 9,000 BY 2026 IN ‘BUBBLE’ SCENARIO
Evercore ISI’s Julian Emanuel says the S&P 500 could reach 9,000 by 2026 under a bubble scenario, up from the firm’s base target of 7,750. The probability of such a scenario has been raised to 30%, supported by signs of capital markets acceleration after a major leveraged buyout.
Emanuel likened today’s environment to past buyout booms, which fueled rallies but also added short-term volatility.
He continues to favor AI-related sectors and sees health care as an underowned tactical opportunity amid easing policy and tariff concerns.

Goldman Sachs lifted Nvidia’s 12-month target to $210, keeping a Buy rating, citing stronger earnings and strategic AI investments, including its OpenAI partnership. While some “circular revenue” from equity deals could affect multiples, the bank sees these moves as boosting Nvidia’s ecosystem and signaling confidence in AI growth. Circular revenue is expected to remain under 15% of 2027 revenue, leaving strong growth potential from core and new customers.
