🇷🇴⚖️⚡️ A criminal investigation was opened on Călin Georgescu's name by prosecutors!

In the official statement released by the ministry of internal affairs it says that it is related with alleged electoral law violations , but people suspect that it has more to do with recent statements made by Georgescu on television.

Two days ago, Călin Georgescu, had some harsh words for the minister of internal affairs, Cătălin Predoiu, criticising him for sending police officers to the homes of ordinary citizens for Facebook and TikTok posts and other ”crimes of opinion”.

Georgescu said:

"(...) They are fake pro-Europeans, they are actually pro-corruption and want to cling on to power no matter the cost, they are afraid to let the truth come out because everything they worked for will collapse. These fake pro-Europeans want us to abandon everything that we have now that we are in NATO and the EU. This isn't partnership this is slavery.

They push the idea that it was an honor for us to join the EU and NATO. I disagree. I say it was an honor FOR the EU and NATO to have us, to be enriched by our culture, our economy, our resources and our people. What they are doing is a form of social re-education, exactly what we went through in the neomarxist-bolshevik era, from 1944 until 1960, our parents know well, the Pitești Experiment, when they tried to reeducate the Romanian people for saying God is omnipresent but they said ”No, it is only the Party that is omnipresent”. Instead of the ”party” we now have Brussels and the EU which now dictates everything. This is what the Sorosist system did (...)

On the topic of the elections, I have to say something: there are three institutions, the ministry of internal affairs, the Romanian and Foreign Information Services (SRI, SIE), who are tasked with protecting our country, protecting our people and its prosperity. They should not be using them for personal businesses or election fraud (...) I am receiving information that there are no classified documents proving anything and I have repeatedly spoken out against the abuses made against the people.

There is this minister, [Cătălin] Predoiu, who has devolved from a minister, into a boogeyman, that is terrorising a lot of people in this country, simply for having a different opinion, people who are protesting on social media are automatically struck with a criminal file. I have seen a leaked recording of Predoiu saying he is next in line to become the director of the SRI. Because I respect the other people in that conversation, I won't give any other details but I want to warn everyone that it is not alright what they are doing (...)"

Georgescu attacked several other people, such as SIE director, Gabriel Vlase, former SRI directors, Eduard Hellvig and Mihai-Răzvan Ungureanu in the same interview. ”Coincidentally”, a day later, the cops finally launched a criminal investigation on his name, months after the alleged offences took place.

🇷🇴🏳️⚡️ Six MPs from Diana Șoșoacă's S.O.S. România party have resigned leaving the formation with 23 deputies (from 27) and 10 senators (from 12)

S.O.S. România has asked all six to resign from the Parliament but it is doubtful they actually will do that. This is a major blow for S.O.S. România and for the sovereignist side.

5 of the MPs were at their first term as MP, the last one being Ștefan Băișanu, who had first entered Parliament in 2012 on PNL's lists, then moved on to ALDE (absorbed by PNL in 2022) in 2016 and in 2020 joined PSD, leaving that for S.O.S. România which he now also left.

Last week, president of the Young People's Party, Anamaria Gavrilă, told journalists that there is an immense pressure put on her MPs by PSD and PNL who are trying to bribe her MPs to leave the party and thus diminish the size of the sovereignist camp.

🇷🇴🏫⚡️ The president of the Romanian Academy, Ioan-Aurel Pop, condemned the proposed new changes to the education law accusing the minister of "furthering the globalist agenda".

"The concern for the reformation of the school was always in the foreground, but the reformation often included the form and not the content, the appearance and not the essence. There were also healthier attempts for two or three times, but wools in the beginning and quickly forgotten. I’m giving you an example of “reforming”: replacing the three quarters (that’s why the names started with “three”) and three vacations with five modules and five holidays, plus “green week”, “school differently” etc.

They also invented a cause: the “closed structure” of the subject, with Romanian, mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry, history and geography, with disciplines that is, deterred, unsuitable, unsuitable for the era of digitization and with names that come from the time of Plato, Aristotle, Cicero and Caesar, that is, from Greek and Latin. What a misfortune! Let us live so anchored in the past!

And there were avalanches of proposals for “change”, even of “revolution” of the school, through new disciplines (mattries) to anchor the school in actuality and in the future: sex education, sanitary, banking, digital, entrepreneurial, environmental protection, traffic on public roads, for healthy nutrition, even clothing, numerology (astrology), witchcraft etc.

The school’s executioners, most of them without experience in pre-university education, quickly found the solution: reducing the number of hours for “classic” disciplines and introducing a pseudo-discipline (of one hour a week) such as those listed above. The first affected were, as usual, "humans" and the social sciences, but not only them. Why so much Romanian, history, Latin, geography?

We only live in the age of globalization and digitalization, which involves homogenizing the planet and who have all the knowledge stored in safe, easily accessible databases for anyone. So the school would be meant to teach children and adolescents only the strictly necessary related to digitalization, a bit of mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology. The remaining hours are to be intended for practical skills, skills, rules of individual and public life.

In this equation, education through history had become an unbearable burden for “progressives” and non-Marxists. From a time, “cancellers of culture” and “awakenings” and other vengeful revenges of the horrors of the past, real or imaginary, also emerged. So, "history" had to be punished drastically. There was also the very noisy and very difficult to combat reason: the history had served in Ceausescu’s final period for “communist nationalism”, for the pre-earness of the Romanian people, for its transformation into a glorious, unique, immaculate and always victorious nation, and the leader had made him the “Genius of the Carpathians”.

Only the Romanians were never glorious, they did nothing in history, they were a bells and did not build, invented, created works and masterpieces! Consequently, we need to be global and globalists, the name “Romania” and “Romania” were almost totally deleted from the textbooks.

Of other things, the name “Romanian language” did not like some people and they created textbooks called “language and communication”, as if the adjective “Romanian” sounded stupid. Alternative history textbooks have also been made, some worse than others (...)"

🇷🇴💰⚡️ The detention of the Vicol-Ciorbă family might not be so random.

A few weeks ago, the liberal mayor of the mountain resort town of Sinaia, Vlad Oprea, was arrested on corruption charges after he was denounced by Vladimir Ciorbă, the manager of Nordis. Oprea was well connected in politics with PNL, Sinaia being famous for hosting the mountain residences of dozens of top liberal politicians, homes who could not have been built simply off their monthly public servant salaries.

Ciorbă claimed he paid Oprea 238k EURs to allow him to build a new apartment building in violation of local zoning laws. The money was received by Oprea's mother who managed his assets, hiding his illegal dealings from the public.

Oprea has been the mayor of Sinaia for 20 years, being elected for the first time in 2004 and was reelected in 2024. He suffered a heart attack when he saw the cops at this front door but recovered. He was arrested and paid a 600k Romanian lei bond.

The judge overseeing Vlad Oprea's case forbid him from continuing to be the mayor of the city.

In May 2024, Oprea's dealings as mayor of Sinaia came to light after Recorder published an hour-long investigation. What led the Recorder team to exposing the mayor of Sinaia was the purchase of a chateau (castle/manor) near the town of Orthez, Pyrenes-Atlantique, France.

The chateau was in an advanced state of disrepair and needed a lot of money before it could be turned in a hotel-restaurant, with local French newspapers saying that the choice was strange as the town of Orthez was pretty far from the tourist towns of Biarritz and Bayonne on the Atlantic coast. The whole affairs didn't look like a simple business operation but more like a money-laundering scheme which is what the prosecutors would later discover and confirm.

🇷🇴🗯⚡️ Former minister of the economy and libertarian, Claudiu Năsui (USR), estimates that the Romanian state has a surplus of 500k salaried employess which could be laid off.

“When we talk about a possible restructuring in the budgetary system, it is brought to attention the fact that the public are also the doctors, and the teachers. There are also empty hospitals, and empty schools, but we are not going into this discussion. In addition to doctors and teachers there are a lot of officials sitting at the office. The reality that of these officials, many do not find a utility. If PSD and PNL want to make a real reform, they should do the same as Javier Milei in Argentina. It took a deficit of 5.4 per cent and turned it into a surplus of 0.4 per cent. It had 30% of the state’s expenditures (ed.n. - with the budget staff). Only then can you talk about a restructuring. Until then, they don't do restructuring.

I can't wait to see the budget, to discover if they cut tens of billions for firms made on state money. Also, let's see if they have also put the subsidy in the budget for the parties. From what they announced, the money for parties will fall by 25%, but in 2024 there were four rows of elections, a lot of money. 25% less in 2025 compared to 2024 still means, enormously much. So what they say is dust in the eye. If they cut these expenses, they would actually cut their branch under their feet. These expenses are the bread & butter of the party asset, the interest group, those who support them. All of them gravitated around the Romanian state to take something. In vape you have political power, if you do not use it to get rich,” Năsui stated

He continued.

“You can dismantle agencies, ministries. There is no need for a Ministry of Economy. I say that because I ran that ministry for eight months. 90% of what it does is managing some companies, most of them black holes and business schemes on state money, which should not exist. These companies could be privatized, to finish what we started after 1989. There is no need for many ministries of the Romanian state: of the Family, of Culture, of Sports. Also, there is no need for a whole lot of agencies. Gradualism doesn't work. The more you leave these boys in public office, the more they adapt. So it must be acted immediately. You either do the reform or you don't. Javier Milei did it in a year. Thus, it brought public debt from 150% of GDP to 90% of GDP.

The Romanian government is composed of 17 ministries. During the Ciucă cabinets, the Government had 22 ministries, and 28 ministries in Sorin Grindeanu’s mandate.

🇷🇴📈⚠️ Of the 720 billion Romanian lei the Romanian government spent in 2024, 60 billion of them were directly spent by Marcel Ciolacu through government decisions in violation of the law.

These 60 billion Romanian lei were spent between September and November making a significant proportion of the 150 billion Romanian lei deficit. They were used for "costs related to the presidential and parliamentary elections" and constituted funds for political parties used in advertising.

Of course, knowing how those elections ended, this sum ended up being a complete waste of money. Because this sum was spent through government decisions, the spending was not always made public, was rarely subjected to a vote by other ministers and received little scrutiny meaning most of the time only Marcel Ciolacu knew what was the money being spent on.

The money came from the government's reserve fund and 2024 set a new record with 64 billion Romanian lei being spent. Vast majority of the money was spent after May 14th 2024 when the government was preparing the Europarliamentary and local elections.

🇷🇴🎙⚡️ In the first public appearance since cancelling the 2024 presidential elections and illegally prolonging his term as president, Klaus Johannis was invited by the EU at a reunion of the continent's leaders.

Before the reunion, Johannis spoke directly with journalists for the first time since December 6th 2024 when he launched his coup d'etat to prevent his timely departure from the presidential palace.

He told journalists him stepping down before the May 2025 elections would be "premature" and only for"populist reasons" therefore he doesn't feel compelled to step down citing the argument made by Johannis himself in his speech on December 6th 2024 which was "suspiciously" confirmed hours later by the totally "independent" Constitutional Court (CCR) in its decision to cancel the 2024 presidential elections.

He continues to mock the Romanian people saying that he "welcomes" anyone who wants to run for president to give it a shot and "do his best" for Romania.

His mocking doesn't stop: About the CCR's decision he rejects calls by various public figures for a "thorough motivation" of the decision to cancel the elections saying that "everything was explained in the decision".

When asked about the Venice Commission's ruling which condemned the CCR for its decision to cancel the elections based on classified information, Johannis dismissed the Commission's report saying it was "just a recommendation for "future" incidents". This is not the first time Johannis dismisses the Venice Commission's opinions, dismissing concerns about the fairness of the process of appointing and promoting judges and prosecutors following the 2022 justice laws, which were speedrunned through the Parliament, with 0 debates and were quickly promulgated by Johannis.

Before these laws, Johannis was quite attached to the opinions of the Venice Commission, for example, in 2019, he lauded the Commission approving a guide on the relations between the parliamentary majority and the opposition. (At the time the majority was hostile to Johannis). In 2018, Johannis requested himself the opinion of the Commission for the justice laws PSD's Liviu Dragnea was trying to pass. He was very critical of those justice laws at the time.

🇷🇴🏫⚡️ Klaus Johannis’ education reform continues unabated

The Minister of Education of Romania, Daniel David, wants to remove History and Geography from the core curriculum for students in grades 11 and 12

This means that only the high school students who picked the humanist profile and some students enlisted in some vocational schools, will study history and geography throughout high school.

For students in scientific and technological profiles the study of history and geography ends in the 10th grade.

However subject such as the "History of the Jews: the Holocaust" and the "History of Communism" will remain mandatory for all high school students regardless of their profile.

🇷🇴🗳⚡️ The 2025 presidential election campaign has entered into full gears: Marcel Ciolacu and Crin Antonescu are now trying their best to pretend to be nationalists by telling journalists they are for the "traditional family" and that there "will be no more gay parades"!

Marcel Ciolacu said:

“The fact that someone wants to set fire to everything we’ve built for 20 years doesn’t mean the world we live in is perfect. And I think it's time to talk more openly and pressed about the external currents that brought us here. Europe has long been in an ideological, demographic and industrial decline. There are many things that can be said, from the need to have cheap energy for the industry, to the drastic reduction of the bureaucracy and regulations that have come to suffocate any initiative. “The ‘Green Deal’ was a good idea, but misapplied and imposed without taking into account the economy of each state,”

“But beyond these aspects, one of the worst mistakes that fueled the revolt all over Europe was progressive aggression. We ended up whispering, including in Romania, about our beliefs, just so as not to disturb. I've said it in the past and I'm saying it now. Romanians are a people tolerant and open to diversity, but when we talk about family, it can only be formed between a man and a woman,” Ciolacu said.

“We are Christians. Point”, emphasized the PSD leader.

Crin Antonescu added on to what Ciolacu said:

“We need a school that will make a bold young society, not naughty, understand that it is fundamental respect for an elderly man, to understand that Romania must be a free country, but with respect for traditional and majority,” Antonescu said.

“I also believe that the PSD president, that the family is made up of a woman and a man. I also believe that we must guarantee the freedom of any possible option in nature, including sexual. But I think that in terms of family, education and public events, it is very good for this to remain our intimate option,” he pointed out.

“I tell you honestly that I do not want to live in a Romania where in a week I have a heterosexual parade, and in another week to have a gay pride parade. Each in his privacy, without any parade!”, said Crin Antonescu.

⭐️☦️🟨 Diana Șoșoacă fires back at the Petru Vodă monastery. Blames AUR for the criticism coming from the Orthodox Church.

A non-Christian smear campaign was launched by the AUR party which had no reaction to Ursula von der Leyen and whose political group in the European Parliament partially voted with the author of European vaccination.

It is a shame that the Petru Vodă monastery was drawn into this dirty campaign, which is no longer the same after the departure of Father Iustin Pârvu. The fact that the respective communiqué of the monastery agrees so well with the words of the globalist Vasile Bănescu, dismissed from the position of spokesperson of the Romanian Patriarchate after he boldly fought against the faith, shows the origin and impure intentions of a position that boils down to the request to let ourselves be defeated by the globalists, holed up in our houses and hiding our faith in fear just like in the catacombs.

What were we supposed to do during the pandemic? Shall we show restraint and nobility and allow ourselves to be enslaved? But now, when Ursula von der Leyen has taken over Europe and is carrying on with her plan to destroy Romania and Europe?

The observations of the Petru Vodă monastery come directly from the AUR Party and represent the attitude of this party that believes that through compromise and accommodation with power, its leaders will do well and not have legal problems. If this is the path of the AUR leaders, let them continue it, but the Romanians are tired of traitors and comfortable people who invoke Christianity only for their own comfort.

I will proudly wear Ia Românească and present it to the whole world! Only the Elie Wiesel Institute wants to ban the pride of the Romanian port and make us guilty because we are Romanians! I will present Ia Românească everywhere I go and I will not be impressed by the salon Christianity of the AUR leaders, nor by their insidious maneuvers by which they want to wash away the shame of the fact that they silenced the European Parliament in order to be among the world .

And yes, Christian politicians act according to the Gospel, where we are shown that the Lord Jesus Christ took the whip and drove the publicans out of the temple without regard to the etiquette of the place and the customs of the temporal rulers. And the tyrants and peddlers in the European Parliament must be whipped and kicked out of power, because they have turned the European Union into Sodom and Gomorrah.

It is also interesting that that statement was also translated into English. For whose benefit? So that the AUR bosses in Europe, the globalists that the tin leaders serve, will see that they have done their duty and attacked the only brave nationalist voice in the EU, while the rest of the so-called nationalists cowered in fear?

Christianity means courage and attitude! This is how those who do not have the courage to raise their voice against globalism in order not to lose the label and especially the salary benefits in the European Parliament or the arrangements with the power suddenly found the courage to stand up against me!

May God forgive those who, instead of coming to fight against the Satans in the European Parliament, found time and energy to attack the only voice of the Romanians in Europe!

🇲🇩⚖️🗳 The justice reform of Maia Sandu and PAS

In 2022, Maia Sandu and PAS brought from the U.S. Veronica Dragalin, a Moldovan-born American prosecutor, to become Moldova's chief anticorruption watchdog and "drain the swamp" in Chișinău. She was politically named as head of the Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office (PA). Her term as chief of the PA was set to expire in 2027.

But it looks like Dragalin's time in the PA is coming to an end. After being reelected, Maia Sandu criticised the activity of the PA calling it "lackluster" citing the lack of progress on the major corruption investigations and lack of convictions in courthouses. Now, the Moldovan government plans to merge the two anticorruption offices, the PA and the Prosecutor's Office for Organised Crime and Special Causes (PCCOCS) with PCCOCS's director, Victor Furtună, taking over the PA as its new director with Dragalin left jobless.

Controversies over the right of jurisdiction between the PA, PCCOCS and The National Anticorruption Center (CNA), the CNA being another prosecutor's office focused on economic and financial crimes, appeared right from the beginning, with Dragalin and the PA putting pressure on PAS to give her more jurisdiction from the other offices but the opposite happened. Due to the rocky relationship of the PA with the PCCOCS and the CNA (which resulted in the resignation of CNA's director back in 2023) and a leaked audio of Dragalin threatening a group of CNA prosecutors with arrest, resulted in PAS limiting the PA's activity to the "major corruption cases".

Dragalin also criticised the vetting system put in place by PAS in 2021, calling the procedure "difficult" and "humiliating" for prosecutors.

Dragalin won't be able to compete for a new job in the justice system because she hasn't spent 10 years inside the Moldovan justice system, having spent 3 years in the justice system. Even worse, Dragalin won't be able to get her job back in the U.S. because she worked in a foreign country.

In a recent TV interview, Dragalin rejected Sandu's criticisms about "lackluster investigations" pointing it was her team's work that convicted Ilan Shor to 15 years in prison on top of prosecuting dozens of people suspected of election fraud, part of Shor's network. Dragalin said she has been receiving subtle messages from Sandu, from the Parliament speaker, Igor Grosu and the prime-minister, Dorin Recean, to resign because the PA was looking into possible acts of corruption involving high ranking Moldovan government officials.

The most significant of them is the Leova-Bumbăta bridge-border crossing with Romania. The bridge was built between 2022 and 2023 and the construction was controversial with allegations of conflicts of interests between the chief of the Financial Supervisory Authority and the CEO of the construction company, the two being related by marriage, with the ASF allegedly having rigged the public tender to have that company win. The bridge itself isn't even a real bridge, it doesn't have a fixed structure, it is more of a pontoon and it astonishingly cost 14.4 million EURs to build.

🇷🇴🏫⚡️ Former education minister, Ligia Deca, was promoted by Marcel Ciolacu to the position of secretary general of the National Commission for UNESCO!

Deca's main achievements as education minister was to burden the school curriculum with useless subjects such as "History of the Jews. The Holocaust", "Social Education" and "History of communism" and notably failing to stop the teacher strikes of 2023.

Her promotion to UNESCO is representative of the "revolving door" style of politics, that is when personnel are recycled from various public positions, such as lawmakers and ministers, to other positions within the state, in a national company or on a board somewhere.

Despite her obvious failings as education minister, Ciolacu still considers her competent to serve as a representative of Romania at UNESCO, contradicting Ciolacu's claims of wanting to reform and "learning from his past mistakes".

🇺🇸💰🇷🇴 USAID was financing the election campaign of Elena Lasconi and anti-Călin Georgescu messaging on Facebook.

Through the NGO, RePatriot, run by Marius Bostan, a former minister in the government of Dacian Cioloș (2015-2016), USAID paid for hundreds of ads on Facebook targeting specifically the Romanian diaspora which was overwhelmingly pro-Călin Georgescu in the 2024 presidential elections.

The campaign started on November 25th when the 2nd round was confirmed to be between Călin Georgescu & Elena Lasconi, with Marius Bostan, the administrator of the NGO and Sandra Pralong, an aide to president Klaus Johannis. These two left a ton of Facebook comments telling people who to vote for and through the RePatriot NGO sought funding and logistical support for re-education programs for the diaspora who was pro Georgescu.

Pralong was person who brought George Soros to Romania back in the 1990s and helped create the Open Society Foundation.

🇷🇴🗳⚡️ Marcel Ciolacu finally fired his advisor, Victor Ponta, and kicked him out of PSD for running for president.

Ponta has made it clear his intention to have PSD change course and branded himself as the only social-democrat capable to get PSD to turn away from the progressivist approach it had with Marcel Ciolacu, towards a more conservative approach, in line with current global trends spearheaded by the United States.

Ponta's candidacy is indeed dangerous for the Johannis-Ciolacu regime as it will steal a lot of support from Crin Antonescu but also from Călin Georgescu, mostly the voters who were voting against another candidate.

🇷🇴💰⚡️ Gendarmes detained for questioning the Ciorbă-Vicol family and Ioana Băsescu, the daughter of former president, Traian Băsescu, in the Nordis case.

Prosecutors ordered 65 searches in locations across Romania and even the microstate of Monaco. The defendants, Laura Vicol, Vladimir Ciorbă, Ioana Băsescu and several other people are accused of constituting an organised crime group and are accused of having cashed in 195 million EURs from various buyers by fraudulently selling apartments to multiple different clients and made the money off the down payments.

Of the 195 million EURs which the Vicol-Ciorbă family & associates cashed in, it is said that 71.4 million EURs from the Nordis company's funds were embezzled to various people in form of direct bank transfers, in the form of salaries, dividends and other purchases of various items & services made in the company's name for a certain individual.

The group began operating in 2018 when they began marketing the Nordis Company and their real-estate projects mostly in the sea resort town of Mamaia. By 2024, 1200 people had signed up to buy an apartment and had made a down payment on one. In October 2024 after being exposed for the scheme by investigative journalists, Nordis filed for insolvency.

Prosecutors later found out the company hadn't paid its fair share of taxes, it fraudulently received money from the state in the form of return-taxes and reimbursements after falsifying financial records.

Laura Vicol was well connected in politics. In 2020 she run for Parliament and became an MP on PSD's lists who then supported her in reaching the Parliament's Judicial Commission which had immense power over all legislation that passed through the Parliament. Many powerful people in PSD, including Marcel Ciolacu, flew on Nordis' private jet planes. Vicol being detained for questioning is a sign of her losing all political support with PSD likely hoping to clear its image by getting rid of her.

🇷🇴📈⚡️ The 2025 budget shows that Marcel Ciolacu and the PSD-PNL-UDMR coalition haven't learned anything from the past election and from the previous 4 years.

Every single intelligence agency got a raise ranging from 5% to 50%.

Overall, the spending planned for 2025 will be 10% bigger than it was in 2024. Yes, really, the Romanian government plans to spend more money in 2025 than in 2024. If they could somewhat excuse the excess spending in 2024 on 4 elections that were organised that year, what's the excuse for 2025?

The spending cuts they made are superficial, clearly being very afraid of layoffs and cutting salaries, weary of angering more people. To make up for this, they plan on collecting more revenues from profit taxes and collect more EU funds. That's it.

Unless Romania gets rid of the Johannis-Ciolacu regime, nothing will change for the better. Romania is headed for bankruptcy.

🇺🇸 How Trump's Dismantling Of USAID Marks A Seismic, Historic Shift In America's Role In The World

The most consequential decision and executive order which came within the opening days of President Donald Trump's administration has without doubt been his "reevaluating and realigning US foreign aid" — which sent shockwaves through Washington especially given federal funding has been cut to USAID in a shock blow to the agency. But it is also having a massive ripple effect throughout the world. Some foreign powers will welcome the news, while many allies as well as an assortment of US-backed 'opposition groups' will feel completely abandoned.

This has meant that pro-Western media outlets, NGOs, and 'soft power' organizations are in panic mode. This has basically overnight shutdown a multi-billion dollar regime change apparatus which pushed or often imposed American interests throughout the globe, especially in the very vulnerable Third World, as well as former Soviet satellite regions. The way this works on a practical, on the ground level is detailed in the well-known book Confessions Of An Economic Hit Man. As for Trump's apparent efforts to dismantle the powerful USAID agency, we compiled some of the best current analysis from around the web outlining the huge significance of this move, which is nothing less than a historic reset (and we say a very welcome reset) of Washington's relations with the rest of the world.

🇷🇴🗳⚡️ The main take from PSD's Congress: The Johannis-Ciolacu regime has no intention to ban Călin Georgescu a 2nd time.

Although many have speculated that Călin Georgescu might be banned for a 2nd time, the image presented by PSD's grand Congress which reunited over 5500 delegates and hundreds more through videocalls was one of desperation.

The whole congress felt as if it was dominated by Călin Georgescu. Not even when Traian Băsescu was president, did PSD ever have a reunion in which the only thing they did was throw insults at their enemy, who remained unnamed. Not only didn't they insult Georgescu, they also began stealing his ideas.

As I've said before, the progressivist PSD has now "become" Orthodox. One of the notable people absent from the congress was PSD's vicepresident, Victoria Stoiciu, a longtime LGBT activist. Wonder why.

Another rare occurrence was seing PSD politicians recognise they've made mistakes and owned up a little bit to them.

Everything else though was plainly boring. The audience was pretty much disinterested and apathic to the speeches. Even Crin Antonescu who has a reputation for his oratoric skills couldn't inspire the audience.

In the front row seats, PSD's senior leaders were seen mostly typing on their smartphones clearly not paying attention to what was being said on stage.

No one talked about policy, about strategy, about future projects, plans, anything concrete. The only message to come out of everyone was "we need to stop Georgescu otherwise we're doomed", without naming Georgescu directly.

PSD has accepted to fight Călin Georgescu for a 2nd time but it remains to be seen if they will play by the rules or change the rules mid-election to prevent the inevitable change the Romanian people desire.

🇷🇴🎙⚡️ Speaking at PSD's General Congress, MEP, Victor Negrescu said that PSD is "the only party that can fight fascism"!

Victor Negrescu a vicepresident of the European Parliament and the president of PSD's youth wing said at PSD's General Congress:

"A famous antifascist fighter said that when the Nazis began arresting the opposition, especially the social-democrats, the world stood silent.

The silence which fell on society made it so when the society began to fight back it was too late. The antifascist fighter said that when it came his turn to be arrested, there was no one left to defend him.

This is why I think we must use our position to denounce this behaviour. If the politicians, the civil society, everyone else will keep quiet and will let the extremists win, we will have the same faith, yes, us, social-democrats.

PSD is the only party capable to resist the fascist onslaught, social-democracy is the only strong political movement that represents a true adversary for them".

— I think its important to remember that just last August, Marcel Ciolacu promoted a hardcore LGBT activist making her a vicepresident of PSD.

But now he says he's for Christianity and the family. No, he's saying that to keep his job as prime-minister. Without his comfy job, he'd be begging on the streets of London.

Victoria Stoiciu still is a vicepresident of PSD. She hasn't been fired or kicked out from the party.

🇷🇴📈❓ Marcel Ciolacu spent much of his speech detailing his "achievements" taking responsibility for the "booming" Romanian economy.

Well, preliminary economic data shows that, in 2024, Romania had, a 1.6% GDP growth. Compared to previous years when it averaged, 4-5% economic growth, this is a disaster.

According to tradingeconomics.com Romania's GDP was worth 351 billion USD in 2023. In 2024 it grew by 5 billion USD, reaching 356 billion. Compared to the previous two years when it grew by an average of 15 billion USD, the GDP growth rate collapsing by two thirds under Marcel Ciolacu is a disaster, a disaster that was easily predictable and in the making for a long time.

Mindless government spending coupled with the nepotism and the clientelism of both PSD and PNL were good indicators of where the economy was heading

2025's budget shows that the old habits are not going away. The budget is being pushed through the Parliament to prevent any meaningful discussions over its provisions

🇷🇴🎙⚡️ Speaking at PSD's General Congress, Marcel Ciolacu said about the alliance he personally negotiated with the National Liberal Party (PNL) and its former president, Nicolae Ciucă:

”I personally made a mistake putting my trust in a partner who did not respect a political agreement which said we were going to have presidential elections in September with a joint candidate and a joint list for the parliamentary elections. They [PNL] had a political leader who got taken away by the results of the Europarliamentary elections when we jointly won 50%.

Then our egos and stupid rivalries got the better of us and made us throw dirt on each other every night on TV, it made us have separate candidates. Our performance didn't matter anymore to the Romanian people and they felt disgusted. As a result, they turned their backs on us and fell for the charisma of an antichrist".

As to why is PSD continuing to try to win elections after their previous embarrassment, Ciolacu said:

"I want to remind everyone that PSD has come into the government at the worst possible time, when we were dealing with a pandemic and an energy crisis. We, PSD, never backed down from a challenge. This is why we must remain brave now. To leave a country fall for nationalism would be an act of cowardice and an act of treason for Romania's future.

To repeat the same mistakes we did ahead of the 2024 presidential elections would mean to turn back the clock 35 years. This is why we have a duty to present to the Romanian people a good alternative. We need to bring a man that was made to be president. He must be capable, experienced, educated, honest, patriotic. A man with strong principles that can fight for what he believes in and that can say "no" when he needs to. That man is Crin Antonescu!".

🇷🇴🇪🇺❌🌐 12 EU countries urge Commission to censor the internet harder and faster!

Romania was one of 12 EU countries who signed a letter urging the European Commission to "take action against election interference by accelerating ongoing investigations under the EU Digital Services Act (DSA)".

The letter, signed by the German spy, Emil Hurezeanu, a close ally of the illegitimate president and dictator, Klaus Johannis, asked the European Commission to "safeguard European elections".

However, a Commission spokesman, told EURACTIV, that the European Commission has no intention to speed up its investigations into X (Twitter), Meta (Facebook) and TikTok likely feeling the pressure put on by the new Trump administration.

Instead, the spokesman reiterated that EU members can take whatever measures they want according to EU and national laws rather than wait from a direct order coming from Brussels.

— Kristof Lajos, a Hungarian-Jewish school director, writer and motivational speaker, was caught red-handed while raping a 14 year old boy whom he was "teaching" in particular.

Lajos sold sob stories about growing up in an orphanage in Târgu-Mureș during the 1980s which he used to build a career on helping other orphans like him get educated. He created the Amias Small School in Bucharest, a private school where "children are encouraged to find their own ways to express themselves", where "bullying is not tolerated (...) and where an environment where the pupil is listened to and cared for" while claiming that the schools is expert in "finding children with genius potential", "helping children develop their emotional intelligence" and "help handicapped children recover". Recently it was discovered that the school, founded 3 years ago, was operating without official accreditation from the ministry of education, meaning that its educational merits were not recognised by the Romanian state

In paralel to his venture in that school, Kristof used to spoke regularly on children's psychology and give advice to parents on how to educate their offspring. He titled himself the "Master of geniuses" and would offer private lessons to other children and adolescents who were not in foster-care.

The minor he raped was one of these adolescents who was signed up by his parents to Kristof Lajos' private tutoring. Kristof began grooming the minor from the age of 12 and was finally caught red-handed by cops 2 days ago who had been watching him for some time after the minor's mother became suspicious about Lajos' teaching methods.

She reported that he used to text and call her son hundreds of times per day and tried to instill in the boy's mind that "the family is an outdated concept".

Kristof Lajos defended his actions saying he was "sleepwalking" and "accidentally happened to have intercourse with the minor" claiming that he was "unconscious" for the whole duration of the act. The cops who have arrested him are investigating how many other victims could Lajos have raped, most likely dozens of other children who were in foster care.

Kristof Lajos earned a number of titles throughout his career such as: "Education expert for the Youth Center of Bucharest, Founder of the National Mentorship Program in Romania, founding president of the Association for Youth, Friendship and Education and General Producer for theatrical performances at the Jewish Theater, National Opera House and the "Reduta" Center.

🇷🇴☦️⚡️ The Right Reverend, Bishop Iustin of Maramureș and Sătmar told that the recent canonization of 16 Church clerics is "only the beginning"!

"There are many saints but we cannot put every single on on our calendar. Those that make it onto the calendar are the leaders of groups of saints (...) The time will come when the Holy Synod will analyse and research certain cultural figures, great writers and confessors of the communist prisons, some having died while others confessing the true faith like Elder Nicolae of Rohia and Elder Nicolae Steinhardt and others will make the list so we will have a number of saints from each category.

On this occasion only clerics were canonized: spiritual fathers, priests and professors. Besides them we need to add Christian intellectuals, great confessors and a few women because they too suffered and confessed during their incarceration during the communist regime. In this list we will add great Christian women and mothers of the Romanian people"
