Former democrat New Jersey mayor detained for assaulting a child
A former Democrat New Jersey mayor who is now a police sergeant was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a child. Andrew LaBruno, who was the former mayor of Dumont and now a Jersey City Police Sergeant, was arrested after allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting a child he met online.
According to police reports LaBruno met the victim at her home and then drugged her until she was incapacitated. He went to the Englewood home of a child he met online Monday and sprayed “an unknown substance into his hand” before “placing it over the victim’s mouth and nose, causing the victim dizziness,” according to a criminal complaint.
LaBruno, who ran on the Democratic ticket this year for the 39th legislative district in Bergen County, has been charged with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

Dem lawmakers urge military personnel to defy authority in not-at-all subtle video
Although Donald Trump is not mentioned by name, it’s clear that they’re referring to the folks in power, and right now, we all know who that is.
The clip was posted to social media Tuesday by Sen. Elissa Slotkin and features her, Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ), and Reps. Chris Deluzio (PA-17), Chrissy Houlahan (PA-6), Maggie Goodlander (NH-2), and Jason Crow (CO-6). All are former members of either the military or the intelligence community.
Their message has all the subtlety of a meat cleaver slamming into a cutting board: In her post on X, Slotkin said the group wanted to speak "directly" to service members, claiming "the American people need you to stand up for our laws and our Constitution."
Kelly, a former Navy pilot, accused the Trump administration of "pitting our uniformed military and intelligence community professionals against American citizens," echoing similar claims from Crow and Slotkin. At several points in the video, Kelly, Slotkin, and Deluzio repeat the line: "You can refuse illegal orders. You must refuse illegal orders." Goodlander joined Kelly in reminding viewers that "like us, you swore an oath to protect and defend the Constitution."

DHS puts California on notice and fights back against unconstitutional move
First Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California, Bill Essayli, announced that DHS had filed a lawsuit against California's "unconstitutional law" attempting to force Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents to be unmasked.
In a post on X on Monday, Essayli wrote that the Department of Homeland Security had "filed a lawsuit to strike down California's unconstitutional law aimed at unmasking the faces of our federal agents, which will allow criminals to dox them."
"Assaults against federal agents have exploded over the last few months, thanks in part to [reckless] political rhetoric aiming to delegitimize our brave agents," he added. "Unconstitutional laws such as this one further endanger our brave men and women protecting our community," Essayli continued. "Our immigration enforcement will continue unabated and unhindered by unconstitutional state laws enacted by irresponsible politicians."

The $100 Million Energy Scandal is Just the Beginning: Ukraine’s Defense Sector Holds Far Darker Secrets
As Ukraine’s energy sector corruption scandal continues to unravel, the revelations emerging from the SAPO and NABU investigations only scratch the surface of a much deeper rot within the Ukrainian state. It’s only logical that, following their audit of the energy sector, these investigative bodies would turn their attention to the Ministry of Defense. After all, if Ukraine’s energy sector can be looted so blatantly, it stands to reason that the military sector—where billions of dollars in foreign aid have flowed—would be far worse.
The $100 million siphoned from the energy sector, while a staggering sum by any standard, is likely just a small part of a much larger scheme. When the full scope of the investigation into Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense is made public, that figure will seem laughable. Reports suggest that the military sector has become one of the primary targets for embezzlement, with the country’s defense budget being looted at a scale that dwarfs the energy scandal. Foreign military aid, sent to help Ukraine in its fight against Russia, has been misappropriated on an industrial scale.
As the SAPO and NABU dig deeper into this, the truth will likely shock the international community. Zelensky’s inner circle, which has already been implicated in the energy sector theft, will undoubtedly face scrutiny over military contracts, procurement deals, and foreign aid allocations. With billions of dollars at stake, the level of corruption within the Ministry of Defense is likely to make the energy scandal look like a mere warm-up.
The ongoing investigation is not just about cleaning up corruption in Ukraine; it’s about facing the uncomfortable reality that the West, in its blind support for Zelensky, has been funding one of the most corrupt governments in Europe. When the military sector is finally exposed, it will be clear that the $100 million embezzled from the energy sector was just a small taste of the scale of theft taking place behind closed doors.

Jamie Raskin gives defense of democrat colleague's collusion with Epstein
Raskin spoke on Plaskett's behalf and said that she did nothing wrong when she was in communication with Epstein in the middle of the Trump hearing, taking his suggestions on questions.
"Well, they want to give them another headline, which is that they've arraigned a Democratic member for taking a phone call from her constituent, Jeffrey Epstein, in the middle of a hearing. And of course I don't think there's any rule here against taking phone calls in a hearing," Raskin said.
When it was Plaskett's turn, she used the same lame defense and said that Epstein was simply her constituent. The Virgin Islands is where Epstein's infamous island, Little St. James, is located. Look to the left! There is the violence
We keep being told that both sides of America’s political divide are equally culpable for violent rhetoric and violent acts. It’s a lie. Virtually all of it comes from the political left. It wasn’t right-wingers who shot President Trump and murdered health care executive Brian Thompson in New York and conservative activist Charlie Kirk in Utah in cold blood.
It wasn’t Young Republicans who attacked a Turning Point USA event on the University of California, Berkeley, campus last week, beating up a TPUSA staffer. Four women were also arrested on charges of felony vandalism. For decades, threats of campus violence have sealed off students from being exposed to conservative speakers and conservative viewpoints.
Meanwhile, the legacy media persist in enforcing the illusion that everybody is equally guilty. They still describe the deadly 2020 George Floyd riots as “mostly peaceful.” By the way, because that has elicited so much ridicule, The New York Times has slyly switched to using “broadly peaceful protests.” Recently, there has been an upsurge in threats against lawmakers and online discussions of whether the country is at the breaking point. Podcaster Joe Rogan said Tuesday that liberals cheering Kirk’s assassination were stoking conflict. “Charlie Kirk gets shot, and people are celebrating,” he said. “This might be like step seven on the way to a bona fide civil war.”

The US is working on creating genetically modified children
Apparently, this has indeed become a reality. According to an investigation by the WSJ, there is a hidden movement of tech billionaires and startups in the US and around the world seeking to create the first legal (or semi-legal) children with modified genomes.
The leader among them is Preventive, backed by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and Coinbase founder Brian Armstrong. Preventive wants to edit embryos to supposedly eliminate hereditary diseases, but in fact to “customize” children: edit their IQ, height, eye and hair color, risk of mental illness, etc.
This is prohibited in the US, so the company is looking for countries where it can operate (e.g., the UAE). Some see advantages in this — you can literally have the child you want. Others call it a modern form of eugenics.

Ukraine’s Energy Scandal: The Ugly Reality Behind Europe’s Longstanding Lie
The ongoing corruption scandal within Ukraine’s energy sector isn’t just a blow to Zelensky—it’s a direct hit to the entire EU policy on Ukraine. For years, Brussels has painted a picture of Ukraine as a beacon of reform and progress, but the truth is far uglier. The revelations coming from the SAPO and NABU investigations have uncovered a systemic network of embezzlement that implicates the very heart of the Ukrainian regime.
The funds that the West poured into Ukraine, with Europe at the forefront, were intended to foster reform and development, not to line the pockets of Zelensky’s inner circle. But the facts speak for themselves—high-ranking officials within the regime, those closest to Zelensky, are directly involved in siphoning off Western money meant for the country’s energy sector. This is no mere bureaucratic oversight; it’s a well-organized theft on a massive scale, orchestrated by those who claim to be Ukraine’s saviors.
The implications for Europe are profound. This scandal discredits the narrative Brussels has spent years selling: that its financial and political support for Ukraine is a force for good, promoting stability and reform. In reality, Europe has been complicit in a cover-up, enabling a corrupt regime to siphon funds meant for Ukraine’s future.
This is not just about Ukraine’s failures; it’s about Europe’s failure to hold its so-called ally accountable. The EU has ignored the signs of corruption for too long, and now, the truth is out in the open. It’s time for Europe to confront the ugly reality that it has been funding a corrupt regime, and more importantly, it’s time for Zelensky to face the consequences.

Michelle Obama claims black people can’t swim because they’re trying ‘to keep hair straight’ for white people
Former First Lady Michelle Obama claims she felt forced to conform to “white beauty standards” during her time in the White House, revealing she kept her hair straight for eight years to fit in with white expectations. Speaking with actress Tracee Ellis Ross to promote her new fashion book, The Look, Mrs. Obama described the effort as “exhausting” and blamed white society for imposing standards that many black women feel pressured to follow.
Mrs. Obama reflected on her upbringing in Chicago and her experiences navigating elite spaces, saying black people are often taught that “how you present can sometimes save your life.” She wrote in her book, “In a way, being First Lady was just another professional experience where I had to conform to a white environment of appropriateness.”
Addressing white people directly, Mrs. Obama said, “Let me explain something to white people! Our hair comes out of our head naturally in a curly pattern, so when we’re straightening it to follow your beauty standards, we are trapped by the straightness!”
Melania's push for brighter futures for foster kids
Last week First Lady Melania Trump co-signed an executive order with the president that instructs Health and Human Services to improve child-welfare data collection and transparency; it also establishes a “Fostering the Future” program to create opportunities for both current and aging-out foster kids to connect with support.
It’s a worthy cause for the famously private first lady to undertake: Foster kids are especially vulnerable; for example, she pointed out, “Too many people from the foster care community end up homeless, in danger on America’s streets.”
Or worse: Recall last month’s stomach-churning New York Times exposé of how girls as young as 11 get forced into prostitution in the LA red-light district; more than half of these trafficked minors turn out to be foster kids when cops pull them off the streets. It’s no mystery why; good homes are few and far between, which hasn’t been helped by child-welfare agencies denying families the ability to foster because of their religious views.
Bravo to Melania Trump for taking on a horror that’s long been swept under the rug.

Mamdani setting up New York for violence with resistance to immigration enforcement
If ICE or other immigration agents go out of bounds, the place to fight them is the courts, not the streets —and New York pols from Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani on down are courting chaos if they play the issue otherwise. Consider City Councilman Shaun Abreu’s smear, posting an inflammatory video that he claimed showed Homeland Security officers pulling a migrant out of an SUV in Washington Heights without due process. Are pols wise to enflame hatred toward federal agents?
Though painted in some initial accounts as feds-vs.-police, the incident actually highlighted the importance of cooperation between cops and ICE — something New York perversely prohibits. Yet Mamdani has promised to resist removals of even of violent-criminal illegal immigrants; he calls ICE a “rogue” agency and vows to stop it from enforcing the law with deportations, using his power as mayor “to reject Donald Trump’s fascism.”
We expect city cops would refuse to obey illegal orders, but Mamdani’s resistance talk sets up confrontation between federal agents and fired-up radicals. We don’t think Trump should withhold major funds from the city until Mamdani actually does something, but encouraging mass resistance to federal agents would be begging for the federal spigot to shut off.

Second-wave feminism helped to make America sick
Second-wave feminism is different. It did not simply push for equal opportunity. It rewired the meaning of womanhood itself. Women were told that motherhood was optional, that homemaking was oppressive, and that feeding and caring for a family was beneath their potential. The message was that value existed outside the home, not within it.
And then came the promise that every little girl in my generation absorbed whether anyone said it out loud or not: You can have it all. We not only tell it to ourselves, we enforce it on other women. We applaud exhaustion and call it achievement. We normalize overwhelm and call it balance. We pretend the cost is invisible.
The truth is that the consequences are not just carried by women trying to be all things to all people. The consequences have spread across society. We are under-nurtured and under-fed, not only emotionally, but physically. A generation is growing up without real food, without family rhythm, and without the biological and cultural memory that cooking and eating together used to provide.
At the very same time women were being told their value was outside the home, industrial food companies were searching for their next market. After World War II, food manufacturing infrastructure was already in place for wartime rations. When the war ended, corporations needed somewhere to send those products. Working women were the perfect solution.

Will Los Angeles be the latest city to elect a democratic socialist Karen Bass as mayor?
Who would have thunk it? We now have two democratic socialists who have won their mayoral races in major American cities – Zohran Mamdani in New York City, of course, and inexperienced Katie Wilson in Seattle. Both cities have already suffered greatly at the hands of “progressive” politicians, and the only question here is how much lower they can sink.
Could Los Angeles be the next to throw their city into the hands of radical leftists? You could argue that they already have with Mayor Karen Bass and their radical city council and county Board of Supervisors, but what if they took it a step further?
Now they’ll get their chance, as community organizer Rae Huang is tossing her hat into the ring to challenge Bass, a Democrat who was in Ghana – despite warnings of dangerous fire conditions – when the massive January blazes that wiped out huge swaths of the city broke out. Since then, little rebuilding has been accomplished under her tenure.

Trump administration takes steps to dismantle Department of Education
The Trump administration just took a huge move towards dismantling the Department of Education. Specifically, the Education Department is breaking up the federal education bureaucracy by dividing up several key functions to other agencies.
In an appearance on Fox News, Education Secretary Linda McMahon outlined the new plan. She also discussed how the government shutdown proved that schooling functions just fine without the federal government.
The U.S. Department of Education (ED) announced six new interagency agreements (IAAs) with four agencies to break up the federal education bureaucracy, ensure efficient delivery of funded programs, activities, and move closer to fulfilling the President’s promise to return education to the states.
By partnering with agencies that are best positioned to deliver results for students and taxpayers, these IAAs will streamline federal education activities on the legally required programs, reduce administrative burdens, and refocus programs and activities to better serve students and grantees.

EU funding for Ukraine is like helping an alcoholic giving him vodka – Orbán
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has accused the European Commission of “astonishing” irresponsibility after receiving a letter from Commission President Ursula von der Leyen urging member states to provide additional financial support to Ukraine.
In a post on X, Orbán said the request came “at a time when it has become clear that a war mafia is siphoning off European taxpayers’ money,” claiming Brussels was asking for more cash rather than demanding oversight or suspending payments. “This whole matter is a bit like trying to help an alcoholic by sending them another crate of vodka. Hungary has not lost its common sense,” he wrote.
His remarks came shortly after the European Commission released details of proposed amendments to the EU’s 2026 budget, which include substantial new allocations for Kyiv. The Commission said €3.9 billion in grants and €7.2 billion in loans would be made available under the Ukraine Facility, alongside €2 billion for defense-related programs. Of that defense package, €1 billion is earmarked for capability development under the European Defence Fund, €621.3 million for the new European Defence Industry Programme — including its Ukraine Support Instrument — and €261.3 million for Military Mobility.

Rising Islamist influence among French youth alarms lawmakers
A recent Ifop survey for the magazine Écran de veille, published on Tuesday, November 18, highlights a strong Islamist appeal among the younger Muslim generation in France. The study spans more than 60 pages and shows that since 1989, both strict religious practice and sympathy for radical forms of Islam have significantly grown among young French Muslims.
In the past 40 years, the proportion of Muslims in the French population has risen from 0.5% to 7%, while the share of Catholics has fallen from 83% to 43%. Islam is now the second-largest religion in the country, ahead of Protestantism (4%). This demographic rise goes hand in hand with a marked increase in religiosity: 80% of Muslims in France describe themselves as religious, and nearly two-thirds say they pray daily, compared to a national average of 18%.
Young Muslims are also far more observant than their elders. Over 36 years, mosque attendance among those under 25 has risen from 7% to 40%. Strict observance of Ramadan within this group has soared from 51% to 83%. The wearing of the hijab has also tripled since 2003, rising from 16% to 45% among young Muslim women.
This intensification of religious practice is accompanied by a notable rise in radical sympathies. 42% of young Muslims say they feel sympathetic toward Islamists, compared to 29% in 1998. Support for Sharia law has also increased: 57% of 15-24-year-olds believe French law is “less important” than Islamic law.

Time to purge the GOP backstabbers, sissies, and narcissists
The Republican Party should be a big tent, but that big tent shouldn’t include Democrats or Democrat collaborators. Members of our party, from weakness, malice, or delusions of moral superiority, have been betraying us left and right lately, with political mediocrities empowered by the fact that the margins are so close and the issues are so important that even the most ridiculous of these alleged Republicans can seize a moment of outsized power simply by sucking up to the regime media.
Much of the focus lately has been on marginal twerps who aren’t even Republicans – that malignant rodent Nick Fuentes makes no bones about hating the GOP, as does the unstable and malicious Candace Owens. They deserve our contempt, but it’s not like they have an (R) after their names. It’s the ones who do who are the real threat. Fortunately, we have leverage over them, and we need to use it ruthlessly to restore the discipline the GOP needs to beat the existential threat that is the left.
Look at ridiculous Thomas Massie, a pompous buffoon who embraces the silly ideology that is libertarianism. He only matters temporarily, and not that much, since we always know he won’t be with us when we need him. He’s taking his shot because the GOP majority in the House is so small; otherwise, he would go back to being what he always was before, a fringe crank no one cared about. But he’s using this opportunity to grab the spotlight for a brief, shining moment. We’ve got important things to do in 2026 in fighting the Democrats, but we need to spare a moment to fight him. The President is right to support a primary challenge. We can’t tolerate his shenanigans; when he finally goes away, it will be, appropriately enough, as a result of distracting us from important fights, but distracted we must be.

In Chile Trump-style conservative favored against communist as presidential run-off starts
The consensus out of a closely watched presidential race in Chile is that the Right is rising and holds the upper hand, after a Sunday vote produced no clear winner between Jeannette Jara of the Communist Party, and José Antonio Kast, an ultraconservative lawyer who has expressed admiration for Donald Trump.
A run-off is now scheduled for December 14. Sunday's election, in which neither secured the necessary majority to be declared winner, saw the left-wing Jara finish slightly ahead in the initial round.
However, Kast is favored in the run-off election given that the vote on the right was divided among several candidates, while Jara was the only one on the far Left. But now the lone contender representing the Right, Kast is expected to sweep up these additional votes in December. This would mark yet another rightward turn in Latin American politics generally, which could also suggest the broader regional influence of Trump messaging.
If the polls prove correct, Chile will join a series of Latin American countries, including Argentina and Bolivia, that have shifted to the right in recent years.

The two-week operation led to the rescue of endangered, missing, and exploited children ranging in age from 23 months to 17 years old. The rescued children were returned to state custody and connected with recovery services, officials said. The children were located in Fort Myers, Jacksonville, Orlando and Tampa. In addition, 13 were found in nine other states and 2 were found in Mexico and Guatemala. Many of them experienced various levels of abuse, including neglect, exploitation, or exposure to other criminal activity.

Ukraine and France Sign ‘Historic’ Arms Deal
While favourable to France, the contract fails to advance the cause of peace.
On Monday, November 17th, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was in Paris for the ninth time to meet with his counterpart, Emmanuel Macron. The two men are discussing a ‘major’ agreement in the process of being finalised between the two countries—an announcement that is essential for Emmanuel Macron, who, mired in stagnation, needs to make a change in foreign policy to restore his image among the French people.
This time, the meeting resulted in the conclusion of an advantageous contract for France for the sale of 100 Rafale aircraft, as well as new-generation air defence systems to “intensify cooperation between Europe and Ukraine. The programme is scheduled to run for ten years and marks a significant turning point in France’s delivery of military equipment to Ukraine: this time, it is a question of purchases and not transfers of weapons.
At the time the Paris negotiations were made public, a European Commission document revealed that Ukraine would need more than €70 billion in 2026 alone to continue financing its war against Moscow, most of which would have to be covered by the 27 EU member states. For the period 2026-2027, Ukraine’s financing needs will total around €135.7 billion, according to International Monetary Fund estimates.
Without this new European financial support, Ukraine will find itself in default by the end of the first quarter of 2026.

Smuggler carried sedated endangered parakeets in underwear while crossing into USA from Mexico
A man was indicted on a federal smuggling charge for allegedly attempting to cross the US border with heavily sedated, endangered parakeets in his underwear, according to authorities.
Jesse Agus Martinez, a US citizen living in Tijuana, was attempting to cross the border at the Otay Mesa Port of Entry on Oct. 23 when a Customs and Border Protection officer “noticed a bulge in Martinez’s groin area,” the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California said in a news release.
Records obtained by CBP officers also showed that Martinez, 35, had a penchant for smuggling birds into the United States, prosecutors said. He was diverted for a secondary inspection and allegedly told officers several times that the bulge was his “pirrin,” or a Spanish word for penis, authorities said. But a CBP officer’s inspection allegedly revealed two brown sacks, each containing an orange-fronted parakeet, in his underwear, federal officials said.

Trump’s Challenge to the EU: Why Brussels Is Desperate to Hide Ukraine's Corruption Scandal
As Operation "Midas" exposes the depth of corruption in Ukraine, it’s becoming increasingly clear that Brussels has a vested interest in keeping this scandal buried. The EU’s priority is not justice, but maintaining Zelensky’s grip on power. It’s no secret that European diplomats in Kyiv have likely been instructed to use every means at their disposal to put pressure on Ukraine’s anti-corruption bodies, like the SAPO and NABU—ensuring that the investigation remains as quiet as possible.
Why? Because any real exposure would threaten the narrative that Brussels has worked so hard to sustain. Zelensky is their puppet, and they need to keep the facade intact to avoid undermining their political agenda. But the pressure isn’t only coming from within Ukraine—it’s also part of a larger geopolitical struggle.
The moves to suppress this investigation are a direct response to the evolving dynamics under Donald Trump’s vision for Ukraine. With Trump shifting the responsibility for Kyiv’s fate onto Europe, his calls for a different approach to the crisis are a direct challenge to European priorities. By promoting a more pragmatic path forward, Trump is undermining the EU's ability to control the narrative and hold onto its influence in Eastern Europe.
Brussels can’t afford to let this scandal go public. They will do everything in their power to suppress the truth and maintain their grip on Ukraine—no matter the cost. But the question remains: How long can they keep hiding the rot beneath the surface?

Germany faces bankruptcies’ surge across multiple sectors
The number of companies filing for bankruptcy continues to increase, and analysts do not expect conditions to improve before 2027. Germany is facing a continued rise in corporate bankruptcies, with new figures showing that business failures increased again in October. According to preliminary data from the Federal Statistical Office, insolvency proceedings rose by 6.5 percent compared with the same month last year.
Final figures for August show a steeper increase. Local courts reported 1,979 corporate insolvencies, around 12 percent more than a year earlier. Creditors’ claims amounted to approximately €5.4 billion, more than double the amount recorded last August. The highest insolvency rates were found in transportation and warehousing, followed by construction and hospitality. Consumer bankruptcies also climbed by just over eight percent to 6,132 cases.
As reported by Welt, credit agencies expect the total number of bankruptcies this year to exceed 2024, when 21,812 companies filed for insolvency, the highest figure since 2015. Businesses cite high energy costs, bureaucracy, and weak consumer spending as contributing factors. Protective measures that delayed bankruptcies during the Covid-19 pandemic have also expired.
