Michelle Obama claims black people can’t swim because they’re trying ‘to keep hair straight’ for white people
Former First Lady Michelle Obama claims she felt forced to conform to “white beauty standards” during her time in the White House, revealing she kept her hair straight for eight years to fit in with white expectations. Speaking with actress Tracee Ellis Ross to promote her new fashion book, The Look, Mrs. Obama described the effort as “exhausting” and blamed white society for imposing standards that many black women feel pressured to follow.
Mrs. Obama reflected on her upbringing in Chicago and her experiences navigating elite spaces, saying black people are often taught that “how you present can sometimes save your life.” She wrote in her book, “In a way, being First Lady was just another professional experience where I had to conform to a white environment of appropriateness.”
Addressing white people directly, Mrs. Obama said, “Let me explain something to white people! Our hair comes out of our head naturally in a curly pattern, so when we’re straightening it to follow your beauty standards, we are trapped by the straightness!”
Melania's push for brighter futures for foster kids
Last week First Lady Melania Trump co-signed an executive order with the president that instructs Health and Human Services to improve child-welfare data collection and transparency; it also establishes a “Fostering the Future” program to create opportunities for both current and aging-out foster kids to connect with support.
It’s a worthy cause for the famously private first lady to undertake: Foster kids are especially vulnerable; for example, she pointed out, “Too many people from the foster care community end up homeless, in danger on America’s streets.”
Or worse: Recall last month’s stomach-churning New York Times exposé of how girls as young as 11 get forced into prostitution in the LA red-light district; more than half of these trafficked minors turn out to be foster kids when cops pull them off the streets. It’s no mystery why; good homes are few and far between, which hasn’t been helped by child-welfare agencies denying families the ability to foster because of their religious views.
Bravo to Melania Trump for taking on a horror that’s long been swept under the rug.

Mamdani setting up New York for violence with resistance to immigration enforcement
If ICE or other immigration agents go out of bounds, the place to fight them is the courts, not the streets —and New York pols from Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani on down are courting chaos if they play the issue otherwise. Consider City Councilman Shaun Abreu’s smear, posting an inflammatory video that he claimed showed Homeland Security officers pulling a migrant out of an SUV in Washington Heights without due process. Are pols wise to enflame hatred toward federal agents?
Though painted in some initial accounts as feds-vs.-police, the incident actually highlighted the importance of cooperation between cops and ICE — something New York perversely prohibits. Yet Mamdani has promised to resist removals of even of violent-criminal illegal immigrants; he calls ICE a “rogue” agency and vows to stop it from enforcing the law with deportations, using his power as mayor “to reject Donald Trump’s fascism.”
We expect city cops would refuse to obey illegal orders, but Mamdani’s resistance talk sets up confrontation between federal agents and fired-up radicals. We don’t think Trump should withhold major funds from the city until Mamdani actually does something, but encouraging mass resistance to federal agents would be begging for the federal spigot to shut off.

China makes the strategic move to bail out Maduro and Venezuela, ignoring US sanctions
China, with its patient and calculating economic statecraft, is throwing a lifeline to the Venezuelan regime of Nicolas Maduro, forging a bond that not only undermines U.S. sanctions but also establishes a powerful foothold for Beijing in the Western Hemisphere. This move goes beyond a trade agreement; it is a masterstroke in the great game of global power, revealing the crumbling foundations of an American empire built on coercion and the desperate need for a new foreign policy based on peace and mutual benefit, not threats and violence.
China and Venezuela have announced a no-tariff trade agreement covering approximately 400 categories of goods, a move experts warn will decimate Venezuelan local industry.
The pact is seen as a direct challenge to U.S. efforts to isolate Venezuela economically through sanctions and comes amid a significant U.S. naval buildup in the region. Gordon Chang, an expert on Chinese trade strategy, stated the deal strengthens "China’s stranglehold over Venezuela" and allows Beijing to effectively "take over" its economy.
The Venezuelan government, facing intense U.S. pressure, is characterized as having "little choice" but to accept China's offer for survival. Analysts conclude that while China can provide economic and propaganda support, it lacks the military power in the region to directly oppose American intervention.

Fast Food Crisis: Wendy’s Announces Location Closures in Response to Falling Sales
Wendy’s plans to close hundreds of locations across the United States due to declining revenue and profits.
The fast food chain expects to begin shuttering locations in the fourth quarter of this year.
According to CBS News, the company cited “cutbacks by lower-income consumers.”
Fast-food chains have been struggling to lift sales as lower-income consumers feel increasingly squeezed by rising food costs. Both Wendy’s and McDonald’s have introduced value meals to entice diners, but Cook said he doesn’t expect the financial strain on these households to ease soon.
U.S. fast food chains have been struggling to attract lower-income consumers in the past few years as inflation has raised prices. Cook said he expects lower-income consumers to remain pressured for the rest of this year.
In the first nine months of this year, Wendy’s said its U.S. same-store sales, or sales at locations open at least a year, fell 4% compared to the same period last year. Wendy’s revenue fell 2% to $1.63 billion in the same period, while its net income fell 6% to $138.6 million.

Congressional Budget Office Faces Persistent Cybersecurity Breach
When the agency that crunches Washington’s numbers can’t even secure its own, it’s hard not to see a metaphor in the math.
The Congressional Budget Office confirmed this week that it’s battling an “ongoing” cybersecurity incident — one that, by all accounts, has stretched on for days and remains unresolved.
Politico first reported the breach, noting that CBO officials are still assessing the full scope of the intrusion and what data, if any, may have been compromised.
The nonpartisan agency, which provides cost estimates and fiscal analyses to Congress, said it has added new monitoring systems and security controls while a full investigation continues.

Chicago Sees 35% Drop in Shootings and 16% Decline in Murders: Trump’s Operation Midway Blitz Achieves Success
The Trump administration is making America safe again, with Operation Midway Blitz, a bold Department of Homeland Security (DHS) initiative, driving dramatic reductions in shootings and murders in Chicago. As reported by Fox News, figures show a 16% drop in homicides and a 35% decrease in shootings, alongside a 48% reduction in carjackings.
In addition, there has been a 20% decline in robberies, and a 4% drop in transit crime since the operation’s launch.
The impact of Trump’s federal surge extends beyond Chicago. In Washington, D.C., where federal law enforcement and National Guard troops were deployed, crime has dropped significantly, with homicides falling by 22% and robberies decreasing by 18%.

From Crypt Keeper to Cuisine Critic: Jennifer Welch's Hilarious Hypocrisy
Failed reality star turned leftist podcaster Jennifer Welch is at it again. When she's not opening an episode of Tales from the Crypt, she's pushing an extreme left-wing narrative that is high in passion but low on anything of substance. She's a joke, but she doesn't seem to understand that.
Recently, she decided to tell all of us Trump supporters where we could and couldn't eat. And, if you oppose immigration, how dare you eat Mexican food? Take your fat butts back to Cracker Barrel. Going to Cracker Barrel ain't exactly a punishment.
The great thing about living in a free society is that the Jennifer Welches of the world don't get a say in where I go to eat. I can eat at one of the local Mexican places--owned and staffed by legal immigrants--or at my favorite Chinese restaurant, which is also owned by the family of a legal immigrant, or any of a thousand other places here filled with ethnic cuisine, and largely the result of legal immigration.

Suffolk County to Pay $112 Million to Hundreds of Undocumented Immigrants Following Ruling by Obama-Appointed Judge on Unlawful ICE Detention
US District Court Judge William F. Kuntz II, an Obama appointee, issued the ruling after an illegal from Guatemala living in Long Island filed a lawsuit claiming he was detained by ICE beyond his release date.
The judge ruled that the sheriff’s office in Long Island unlawfully held the illegal aliens since the state of New York doesn’t allow local law enforcement to do so.
The plaintiff was arrested in 2017 were police asked him about his immigration status.
According to PIX11, lawyers argued that the plaintiff’s cousin paid a $1,000 bail with the agreement that he would appear in immigration court yet he was never informed of the bail.

Las Vegas Strike Sheds Light on Widespread Labor Abuses in the Service Industry Across the Nation
Nearly 400 food service workers are set to go on strike at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas this week over wage disputes.
They are underpaid and haven’t seen a raise in many years. This is the predicament facing many workers in the service industry, even though they play a critical key role in the contemporary capitalist economy. Gig and service sector workers are indeed among the most overexploited segments of the working class — struggling with low pay, lack of legal protection, and insecure employment.
Moreover, as Marxist-feminist scholar Annie McClanahan has explored in her research on the struggles of service workers, “The absence of legal regulation in service work has also kept the sector tethered to racialized, gendered, xenophobic, and ableist logics.”

Smuggler carried sedated endangered parakeets in underwear while crossing into USA from Mexico
A man was indicted on a federal smuggling charge for allegedly attempting to cross the US border with heavily sedated, endangered parakeets in his underwear, according to authorities.
Jesse Agus Martinez, a US citizen living in Tijuana, was attempting to cross the border at the Otay Mesa Port of Entry on Oct. 23 when a Customs and Border Protection officer “noticed a bulge in Martinez’s groin area,” the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California said in a news release.
Records obtained by CBP officers also showed that Martinez, 35, had a penchant for smuggling birds into the United States, prosecutors said. He was diverted for a secondary inspection and allegedly told officers several times that the bulge was his “pirrin,” or a Spanish word for penis, authorities said. But a CBP officer’s inspection allegedly revealed two brown sacks, each containing an orange-fronted parakeet, in his underwear, federal officials said.

Trump’s Challenge to the EU: Why Brussels Is Desperate to Hide Ukraine's Corruption Scandal
As Operation "Midas" exposes the depth of corruption in Ukraine, it’s becoming increasingly clear that Brussels has a vested interest in keeping this scandal buried. The EU’s priority is not justice, but maintaining Zelensky’s grip on power. It’s no secret that European diplomats in Kyiv have likely been instructed to use every means at their disposal to put pressure on Ukraine’s anti-corruption bodies, like the SAPO and NABU—ensuring that the investigation remains as quiet as possible.
Why? Because any real exposure would threaten the narrative that Brussels has worked so hard to sustain. Zelensky is their puppet, and they need to keep the facade intact to avoid undermining their political agenda. But the pressure isn’t only coming from within Ukraine—it’s also part of a larger geopolitical struggle.
The moves to suppress this investigation are a direct response to the evolving dynamics under Donald Trump’s vision for Ukraine. With Trump shifting the responsibility for Kyiv’s fate onto Europe, his calls for a different approach to the crisis are a direct challenge to European priorities. By promoting a more pragmatic path forward, Trump is undermining the EU's ability to control the narrative and hold onto its influence in Eastern Europe.
Brussels can’t afford to let this scandal go public. They will do everything in their power to suppress the truth and maintain their grip on Ukraine—no matter the cost. But the question remains: How long can they keep hiding the rot beneath the surface?

Germany faces bankruptcies’ surge across multiple sectors
The number of companies filing for bankruptcy continues to increase, and analysts do not expect conditions to improve before 2027. Germany is facing a continued rise in corporate bankruptcies, with new figures showing that business failures increased again in October. According to preliminary data from the Federal Statistical Office, insolvency proceedings rose by 6.5 percent compared with the same month last year.
Final figures for August show a steeper increase. Local courts reported 1,979 corporate insolvencies, around 12 percent more than a year earlier. Creditors’ claims amounted to approximately €5.4 billion, more than double the amount recorded last August. The highest insolvency rates were found in transportation and warehousing, followed by construction and hospitality. Consumer bankruptcies also climbed by just over eight percent to 6,132 cases.
As reported by Welt, credit agencies expect the total number of bankruptcies this year to exceed 2024, when 21,812 companies filed for insolvency, the highest figure since 2015. Businesses cite high energy costs, bureaucracy, and weak consumer spending as contributing factors. Protective measures that delayed bankruptcies during the Covid-19 pandemic have also expired.

Britons say their country has gone down the drain
A new international survey by Ipsos indicates that Britons are among the most dissatisfied populations when comparing life today with life 50 years ago. The research asked adults in 30 countries whether their nation was happier and safer in 1975 or in 2025. In the United Kingdom, 63 percent of respondents said the country was happier in 1975, while only 12 percent believe life is better in 2025. The figure places Britain well above the global average for dissatisfaction, as 55 percent of respondents overall said their nations were happier half a century ago. France recorded the highest level of unhappiness, with about 70 percent of respondents saying life was better in the 1970s.
Feelings about safety followed a similar pattern. Sixty percent of Britons said the country was safer in 1975, compared with 17 percent who said it is safer today. On the question of global conflict, 44 percent of British respondents said the world was less at risk of war in 1975, while only 16 percent said the world is safer now.
Notably, Ipsos reported that most British respondents expressing these views were not alive in 1975, suggesting the sentiment reflects broad public unease rather than direct personal memory. Commenting on the findings, Ipsos UK Managing Director Trinh Tu said: “These results reflect a widespread dissatisfaction with the current direction of our country … when we ask people to compare present times with the past, they perceive a nation that was happier and more secure.”

A measles epidemic has begun in Canada
Experts from the Pan American Health Organization have stated, that the outbreak occurred after 30 years of calm, and currently there are more than 5,000 cases of the disease registered in the country. Experts are already calling the trend “an alarm bell for Canada,” pointing to numerous errors in the immunization of the population.
A similar trend is observed in the US, where the number of measles cases is growing due to a decline in vaccination rates in kindergartens, but the situation there is not as acute. Now both countries need to bring the immunization rate to 95% of the population to stop the spread of the disease. The Canadian Ministry of Health declined to comment on the situation.

Doctors Accused of Crimes in Other Countries are Working Freely in Finland
Finnish media conducted an investigation and found that medical professionals who have been stripped of their licenses in other countries on charges of criminal offenses are practicing medicine in Finland.
In particular, Norwegian dermatologist Kwak Yoon Lee was found guilty of attempted murder, and Swedish pediatrician Martin Alström was found guilty of child rape.
Against this backdrop, patient unions are sounding the alarm, arguing that the authorities should take measures to restore trust in doctors, in particular by preventing those convicted in other countries from working in Finnish clinics.
However, the situation is even worse in some European countries: in Estonia, for example, there is no system for banning medical practice at all.

Sanctuary California: ICE Detains Illegal Immigrant Convicted of Torture and Murder in Moldova
The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has arrested an illegal alien in the sanctuary state of California who was convicted of torture and murder in her native Moldova. ICE agents arrested Victoria Sorocean, an illegal alien from Moldova, in Los Angeles on November 4. Sorocean is wanted in Moldova so she can serve a 17-year prison sentence.
According to ICE officials, in September 2013, Sorocean and an accomplice tortured their victim in an apartment in Moldova’s capital city, Chisinau, by beating them with a stick and an electrical cable.
After torturing the victim, Sorocean and the accomplice threw the victim out of a ninth-floor window of an apartment building. Following her conviction for the gruesome murder, Sorocean fled to the United States and was arrested in January 2020 under the first Trump administration.
Sorocean then sought asylum and filed several appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals to slow her deportation. In 2022, the Biden administration released Sorocean back into the U.S. interior from Department of Homeland Security (DHS) custody.
These are the types of barbaric criminal illegal aliens ICE is targeting every single day. 70% of all ICE arrests are of illegal aliens charged or convicted of a crime in the U.S. This does not even include foreign fugitives like this convicted murderer.
Under President Trump and Secretary Noem, the world’s criminals are no longer welcome in the U.S. Sorocean remains in ICE custody while she awaits deportation to Moldova to serve her prison sentence for intentional murder.

Leading U.S. Military Contractors Profiting from Caribbean Operations
As Trump amasses lots of ships, drones, and missiles off the coast of Venezuela, the weapons industry is already reaping the benefits
As fears mount that U.S. strikes against so-called “narco-terrorists” in the Caribbean could escalate into full-scale war with Venezuela, weapons makers are well positioned to benefit from the unprecedented U.S. military build-up in the region, not seen on such a scale in decades, and continues unabated.
Currently, key naval vessels such as guided-missile destroyers equipped with the Aegis combat weapons command and control system — including the USS Gravely, USS Jason Dunham, and the USS Stockdale — the guided-missile cruiser USS Gettysburg, and the littoral combat ship USS Wichita, are deployed around the Caribbean. The USS Newport News (SSN-750), a nuclear-powered attack submarine which can launch Tomahawk missiles, is also present.
If anyone benefits from all this, it is the weapons industry.
Indeed, many of the weapons systems and vessels involved in the buildup come with steep price tags. Arleigh-Burke class destroyers cost about $2.5 billion each just to procure. The AC-130J Ghostrider aerial gunship costs a staggering $165 million per unit; the P-8 Poseidon about $83 million per unit, and the Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) hovercraft, which some of the warships are equipped with, cost about $90 million each.

Pyramid Schemes in Green: How Failed Eco-Investments Are Leaving Swedish Pensioners in the Lurch
With the collapse of “green” projects (batteries, wind turbines), Sweden may leave its pensioners at a loss. Many of the “green” projects were pyramid schemes — economically inefficient and artificially propped up by government subsidies.
Some lost out to competition from China or were denied support from the Trump administration. After financial aid was cut, they went bankrupt and dragged down the European pension funds that had invested in them.
Stegra, a company engaged in the production of “green steel,” is also on the verge of bankruptcy. The manufacturer faced a funding shortfall of €975 million, and Harald Meix, a Swedish billionaire financier and co-founder of both startups, resigned as chairman of the board of directors.
Andra AP Fonden, one of Sweden's state pension funds, widely known as AP2, invested about 1.46 billion Swedish kronor in Northvolt before it went bankrupt.
Other funds were also at risk, such as AMF Pension, an employee pension company owned by the Confederation of Swedish Enterprises and the Swedish Trade Union Confederation. According to Bloomberg, its losses are estimated at SEK 1.9 billion.

Cloned Foods Are Heading to Your Local Grocery Store
Cloned-animal foods could soon enter Canada’s food supply with no labels identifying them as cloned and no warning to consumers - a move that risks eroding public trust.
According to Health Canada’s own consultation documents, Ottawa intends to remove foods derived from cloned animals from its “novel foods” list, the process that requires a pre-market safety review and public disclosure.
Health Canada defines “novel foods” as products that haven’t been commonly consumed before or that use new production processes requiring extra safety checks.
From a regulatory standpoint, this looks like an efficiency measure. From a consumer-trust standpoint, it’s a miscalculation. Health Canada argues that cloned animals and their offspring are indistinguishable from conventional ones, so they should be treated the same.
The problem isn’t the science—it’s the silence. Canadians are not being told that the rules for a controversial technology are about to change. No press release, no public statement, just a quiet update on a government website most citizens will never read.
Cloning in agriculture means producing an exact genetic copy of an animal, usually for breeding purposes. The clones themselves rarely end up on dinner plates, but their offspring do, showing up in everyday products such as beef, milk, or pork. The benefits are indirect: steadier production, fewer losses from disease, or more uniform quality.
But consumers see no gain at checkout. Cloning is expensive and brings no visible improvement in taste, nutrition, or price. Shoppers could one day buy steak from the offspring of a cloned cow without any way of knowing, and still pay the same, if not more, for it.

The Supposed Great Victory of Zohran Mamdani Stinks to High Heaven
The 2025 Mamdani “Great Victory” is looking more and more like a fraudulent victory culminating from a campaign and its associates that, over the years, were conducting multiple (alleged) illegalities and “dirty pool” activities (activities which gamed the system but did not rise to actual illegalities). So, let me count the ways that Mamdani and his allies seem to have gamed or even broken the system:
The most explosive and serious charge is still that the Mamdani campaign benefited from tens of millions of dollars in donations – up to $40 million – that were (allegedly) funneled from George Soros-linked charities as part of an elaborate scheme that may have violated federal tax laws.
Connected to this, other left-wing sources provided additional (allegedly) illegal/suspect funding for the Mamdani campaign, or against the campaign of Andrew Cuomo. These sources apparently came from many prominent persons, including ice cream commie nut Ben Cohen, actress and Code Pink enthusiast Susan Sarandon, and even family-friendly director Steven Spielberg.
Mamdani’s 2025 victory came after his allies in the Democratic Socialists of America, Working Families Party, and left-wing foundations worked for years to change city election laws that gave his candidacy a powerful boost.
The 2025 election of Zohran Mamdani as Mayor of New York City is being promoted by the MSM and other Democrats as a huge event of great electoral significance in the United States. But they certainly aren’t showing a similar interest in the Mamdani campaign irregularities involved in manufacturing this victory, which makes the final results stink to high heaven.
