The miseducation of USA

American has lost that, the most crucial elements of education. We've got the technology to put a man on the moon, but don't have the moral sense to know the difference between a man and woman.

If a person has a Ph.D. in nuclear physics, but still thinks children can be mutilated at their own whim for the sexual hedonism of others, then he has been horribly miseducated and will do far more harm to a society than any good his degree can accomplish. Even Thomas Jefferson, who was no devout Christian, understood the Bible's value to education:

"The Bible makes the best people in the world." The problem is, the Left doesn't want good people in the world. uch government, and the main goal of Leftism is totalitarian government. "The Bible is the cornerstone of liberty," Jefferson wrote; the Bible, not totalitarian government. True religion, properly practiced, will produce an upright people who need little government to guide them. But, again, the Left doesn't want liberty, it wants power and control. It is the major reason they hate and lie about Christianity.

Government power is a great enemy of freedom. But even religion can be, and certainly has been, used by power-lusting humans.

Government power is a great enemy of freedom. But even religion can be, and certainly has been, used by power-lusting humans. Knowledge. True knowledge. It's essential to freedom. America today doesn't know it, either. And captivity based on miseducation will be the result.

Politico published a sarcastic annual analysis of the performance of EU leaders in 2025

Regarding Germany, it says that the country replaced the “charismatic captain” Olaf Scholz with Friedrich Merz, who looks as if someone had just stolen his parking space in front of the supermarket, even though he had been waiting for it for a long time.

Ursula von der Leyen is “as popular in Brussels as unwanted invasive surgery” and has survived three votes of no confidence in the European Parliament, which has now shifted so far to the right that her cabinet is in danger of collapsing.

Politico did not forget about Emmanuel Macron, who "changed his prime ministers faster than Samantha Jones, the heroine of the series Sex and the City, changed her boyfriends — and looked surprised every time one of them left. It's almost touching: he never considered that he himself might be part of the problem."

AI data centers have caused enormous damage to one of the largest freshwater reserves in the US—the Great Lakes

Water levels there have fallen below normal due to the placement of data centers. Small towns are seeing a drop in water pressure in their water systems, and agriculture is under threat.

One large center can consume as much water as hundreds of thousands of people use.

Companies that operate data centers often conceal the actual data on resource consumption.

Interest payments on the USA national debt could reach $2.2 trillion over the next decade

This would represent a 127% increase from the $970 billion recorded in fiscal year 2025.

At the same time, the government is projected to borrow about $2 trillion annually over the next decade, which will further increase interest payments along with debt growth.

❗️ As a result, about 50% of borrowed funds will go toward debt servicing each year. The US is on an unsustainable path of fiscal policy development.

Consumer sentiment in the US falls to historic low, according to the University of Michigan

▪️ 50.3 — the US consumer sentiment index in November, down 3.3 points from October and approaching the level of 50.0 points in June 2022 — the lowest level since records began in 1978, — states the University of Michigan

▪️ The decline in overall sentiment was widespread among different age groups, income levels, and political views

▪️ Consumer sentiment deteriorated due to rising prices, a 17% decline in current personal finances, and an 11% decline in expected business conditions for the year. The government shutdown has lasted for more than a month, and consumers are beginning to worry about the possible negative consequences for the economy

Reasons For Job Cuts In The Us In 2025

By October, 1.1 million people had been laid off — 65% more than a year ago, the highest since 2020.

▪️More than half of the layoffs are related to federal DOGE actions and economic factors (~520,000 jobs).

▪️Restructuring and cost-cutting affected 185,000 people, while company closures affected 161,000.

▪️AI has had a limited impact, accounting for less than 5% of layoffs (~48,000 people).

▪️The main wave of layoffs is related to preparations for a slowdown in economic growth, declining demand, and tighter financial conditions, rather than bankruptcies.

The evil of the welfare state

By Jacob G. Hornberger

In a genuinely free society, people are free to keep everything they earn and decide for themselves what to do with their own money. They are free to save, invest, spend, or donate their money to others.

The government, operating through the IRS, forces people to deliver a portion of their money to the federal government. The government, operating through welfare agencies, then distributes, either directly or indirectly, that money to recipients of Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, welfare, subsidies, bailouts, foreign aid, grants, and other governmental largess.

Welfare statists say that this process demonstrates how good, caring, and compassionate we are as a society because we collectively have enacted this program as part of our democratic system.

But the fact is that this process is as much founded on force — and the denial of the individual right to say no — as when I steal that wealthy person’s money and give it to the poor, needy, and disadvantaged. The taxpayers? Opponents of the welfare-state way of life who have their money seized against their will and given to others?

Japan has begun full-scale implementation of piezoelectric tiles as an innovative way to generate electricity, turning people's footsteps into a source of energy.

The first piezoelectric tiles, which capture kinetic energy from the mechanical pressure of footsteps and convert it into electricity, have been installed at the Shibuya intersection and the Tokyo station area.

The economic effectiveness of this innovation will become clear in the next couple of years.

China dominates the global race for energy

China's energy capacity has reached a record 3.75 terawatts. Over the past eight years, this figure has doubled: China's capacity is already three times greater than that of the US (1.3 terawatts).

The PRC is also building 34 nuclear reactors, which is more than the next nine countries on the list combined. Another 200 reactors are in the planning or development stage. By comparison, not a single large commercial nuclear reactor is being built in the US.

Look, which countries export the most Christmas decorations!

Christmas decorations are a global business, with supply chains that stretch across continents well before the holiday season begins. From ornaments and lights to artificial trees and festive displays, most of these products are manufactured and shipped months in advance.

China is by far the world’s largest exporter of Christmas decorations. In 2024, it shipped $5.97 billion worth of festive goods globally. This figure is more than 20 times larger than that of the second-ranked exporter. The Netherlands ranks second, exporting roughly $249 million in Christmas decorations.

While small compared to China, the country acts as a key logistics and re-export hub within Europe. Germany, Poland, France, and Denmark also appear among the top exporters. These countries often focus on higher-quality or niche products, including premium ornaments, lighting, and traditional designs that cater to European and North American markets.

Beyond China, several Asian countries play growing roles in this market. India exported $117 million worth of Christmas decorations in 2024, while Cambodia shipped about $103 million. These countries are increasingly attractive to manufacturers looking to diversify supply chains.

Mexico and the U.S. also appear in the top 10, reflecting regional production aimed at serving nearby markets more efficiently and reducing shipping times.

Entitled democrat goes on nasty tirade after getting busted for drunk driving

An entitled Rhode Island Democrat went on a self-absorbed tirade before and after breaking the law in embarrassing fashion. As The Daily Mail reported, 51-year-old Maria A. Bucci, the chairwoman of Cranston’s Democratic Committee, was charged with driving under the influence on December 18 after a traffic stop.

The Boston Globe obtained court documents that showed that police pulled Bucci, a former mayoral candidate, over for having “severely bloodshot, glassy and watery eyes.” They also detected “a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from inside the vehicle.”

However, Bucci apparently thought her Democratic privilege would shield her from trouble as she repeatedly told officers, “Do you know who I am?”

Not surprisingly, police recognized she was a figure of minor importance and proceeded to do their job. This only made Bucci angrier, as she proceeded to berate the officers in a vulgar manner.

A striking number of children and relatives of democrat politicians are running for office in 2026

For months now, Democrats and various other left wing activists have been holding ‘No Kings’ protests, but apparently that rule does not apply when it comes to family legacy political campaigns.

A surprising number of children and other relatives of Democrat politicians are running for office in the coming year. There are a couple of Republicans in the mix too, but it is mostly Democrats and remember, it is Democrats who have been trying to make the whole ‘No Kings’ narrative into a thing.

When did politics become such a common family business? In the crowded Maine governor’s race alone, there are three contenders who are political scions: Democrat Angus King III, the son of independent Sen. Angus King; Democrat Hannah Pingree, the daughter of Rep. Chellie Pingree, D-Maine; and Republican Jonathan Bush, the nephew and cousin of the two Bush presidents.

While the trend is hardly new, this campaign cycle already features a number of notable races involving candidates who are related to former or current politicians. Serving in public office used to be considered something you did out of a sense of obligation.

It is not supposed to be a path to wealth and power but that is certainly become in some cases. Your last name is not supposed to be an automatic ticket to the elite political class.

European media giants face a double threat: AI and low demand for advertising

According to Bloomberg Intelligence, the profits of media companies in the Stoxx Europe 600 index will grow by only 6.9% in 2026, compared to 10% for the market as a whole.

Advertising under attack:
Economic and political uncertainty is reducing marketing budgets. In 2025, TV advertising revenues fell by several percent, and there are no signs of a reversal in this trend.

AI — risk and opportunity:
Technology increases efficiency but threatens key media products and online platforms. Digital education (Pearson) and scientific publishing (Springer Nature) are particularly at risk. Some analysts believe these fears are exaggerated.

❗️2026 will be a test — those who fail to rebuild their businesses around AI and a weak advertising market will lose out.

Woke Minneapolis mayor appears to 'wishcast' death and injury to ICE amid 'Operation Metro Surge'

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey (D) almost lost his job to a Democrat Socialist, so he needs to prove to the Somali population that he is down with the cause and will protect Somalis from the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids being conducted through "Operation Metro Surge."

In early December, ICE officials announced they had arrested child sex offenders, domestic abusers, and violent gang members just a few days into Operation Metro Surge.

“Sanctuary policies and politicians like Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey allowed these pedophiles, domestic terrorists, and gang members to roam the streets and terrorize Americans,” said Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin.

“ICE law enforcement are risking their lives to protect Minnesotans while their own elected officials sit by and do nothing. No matter when and where, ICE will find, arrest, and deport ALL criminal illegal aliens.”

GOP senators torch dem narrative after secret meeting on narco-terrorist strikes

Republican Senators torched the Democrat narrative about military strikes on drug boats following a closed-door meeting, accusing them of flat-out lying about the actions taken by U.S. Special Operations Command commander Admiral Frank M. Bradley.

On Wednesday, the Senate Armed Services Committee received a closed briefing from Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who led the briefing on the September 2, 2025, boat strike on narco-traffickers in the Caribbean.

Speaking to members of the press after the meeting, Senator Eric Schmitt (R-MO) defended Bradley and said that what he saw was drug traffickers attempting to continue their mission after the first strike, flip the boat back over, and attempting to connect with other narco terrorists.

Canada is building the wrong army for the war that is coming

The next major land war will not reward elegance, boutique modernization, or the comforting belief that advanced technology can replace mass and endurance. It will expose armies built on fragile assumptions. Concealment has largely disappeared. Attrition has returned as a central fact of combat.

Sustainment shapes outcomes as decisively as firepower. Yet the Canadian Army remains organized, equipped, and intellectually anchored to a vision of warfare that belonged to yesterday’s world.

The problem is not a simple modernization lag or a lack of new kit. It is a deeper conceptual failure—a refusal to absorb how radically and irreversibly the character of land warfare has changed.

That is the larger point. The key change is not this or that technology. The battlespace itself has changed. Artificial intelligence, proliferated drones, commercial satellites, autonomous strike systems, and persistent ISR have combined into a transparent, data-rich battlespace where everyone is on the move, movement is tracked instantly, concentrations are targeted rapidly, and supply lines are targeted as soon as they begin to form—an environment already documented in assessments of modern conflict. An army that cannot scatter, regenerate while under fire, and sustain itself while under persistent observation is not going to muddle through. It is going to break.

Attrition has returned—and Canada is not ready. The Canadian Army is not designed for this reality.

It shouldn't be very hard to call out evil for what it is

I haven't been shy about calling out Islamic terrorism, even as the woke left and their politically correct media allies have tried to cancel those of a similar mindset over so-called "Islamophobia," a term which, translated, means being an awful person simply because you're able to recognize that while not all terrorist attacks in the world are committed by Islamofascists, Islam-aligned terror organizations like ISIS remain the most prolific, pervasive, and deadly.

Attacks here in the U.S. in 2025 alone, whether committed by a "lone wolf" or not, confirm the growing negative influence of radical Islam in American society, with higher ed playing a huge role in encouraging and perpetuating antisemitic, anti-American, and pro-radical Islamic belief systems among young, impressionable students, some of whom are transplants from parts of the world where violent, anti-western culture has been well-established.

The American left has crossed a line into disloyalty and subversive actions that undermine not only our national interests but those of our allies and fellow democracies.

We especially see it in our universities, whose facilities are dominated by radicals who were born during the Vietnam War. We also see this subversion in our corporate media, which has become a critical tool for anti-American leftists and Islamofascists alike.

Coal dumped in Newsom's Christmas stocking after latest announcement on eradicating homelessness

You know, if California voters had a dollar for every time Gavin Newsom had pledged to eradicate homelessness in his state over the nearly three decades he's been in elected office, they'd be rich instead of struggling to make ends meet due to the high cost of living and anti-capitalist environment in the Democrat-run Golden State.

The rampant homeless problems there have been well-documented here at RedState and elsewhere, with even prominent Democrat figures in California at various points acknowledging in so many words that the issue exists primarily in big cities run by other Democrats, like Los Angeles and San Francisco.

At the forefront of the promises to solve the homeless crisis has been Newsom, who not only has positioned himself as the "face" of California over the last couple of decades but who also recently admitted he was considering a 2028 presidential run, as though it hadn't already been obvious.

But homelessness is where Newsom continues to demonstrate that talk is cheap, with the people ending up paying the steep price that the cost of failed leadership brings.

Repeat offender kills someone mere days after nonprofit pays for bail

“Donnie Allen allegedly shot and killed 27-year-old Benjamin McComas at a Cleveland light rail station around 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14,” Fox News reported.

Before this tragic incident, Allen had built himself quite a rap sheet.

Fox News reviewed court documents revealing that Allen had previously been busted in a Dec. 4 incident that charged with drug possession, breaking and entering, vandalism, obstructing official business, and possessing criminal tools.

Despite this lengthy rap sheet, Judge Joy Kennedy — whose long advocated for bail reform — saw fit to lower Allen’s bail for his Dec. 4 incident from $15,000 to $5,000.

From there, a liberal activist group called The Bail Project ponied up the 10 percent ($500) to get Allen out of jail.

When confronted about this, The Bail Project stopped short of expressing regret.

The surveillance state is making a naughty list, you are on it!

The Surveillance State is making a naughty list, and we’re all on it. The consequences of landing on the government’s “naughty list” are far more severe than a stocking full of coal.

They can include heightened surveillance, loss of privacy, travel restrictions, financial scrutiny, police encounters, or being flagged as a potential threat—often without notice, explanation, or recourse.

This is not fiction. This is not paranoia. This is the modern surveillance state operating exactly as designed. Today’s surveillance state doesn’t require suspicion, a warrant, or probable cause. It is omnipresent, omniscient, and inescapable. Your smartphone tracks your location.

Your car records your movements. License plate readers log when and where you drive. Retail purchases create detailed consumer profiles. Smart speakers listen to everything you say. Home security cameras observe not just your property, but your neighbors, delivery drivers, and anyone who passes by.

The government’s appetite for data is insatiable. Americans are being conditioned to accept constant monitoring as the price of safety. That resistance is suspicious. That anonymity is dangerous.

Yet history teaches us the opposite: societies that normalize surveillance do not become safer—they become more authoritarian. A government that sees everything, everywhere, all the time, will eventually control everything.
