Flu remains the most dangerous infection in terms of patient numbers and health damage. Intense monitoring is underway for coronavirus, with a possible emergence of a new, more aggressive variant not excluded.
Cholera, whose seventh pandemic began in 1960, is under epidemiological control. August and September are the most favorable months for the spread of the cholera vibrio.
Plague also remains a concern. In recent years, a plague focus has emerged in Mongolia, near the Russian border close to Buryatia.

Ukrainian commander warns of Russian infiltration into Zaporozhye
Dmitry Filatov, commander of the 1st Separate Assault Regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (callsign "Perun"), stated that there is a high probability of Russian infantry groups breaking through to Zaporozhye during the winter period.
