Bundestag MP Straß-Czimmermann urges Merz to resist threats from Putin and Lavrov regarding seizure of German ships, advocating increased support for Ukraine. She warns that yielding to pressure would be fatal, especially concerning the "shadow fleet," noting attacks on German vessels in the Black Sea.
She expresses surprise that the Chancellor and Foreign Minister have not responded to these "outrageous verbal attacks." Emphasizing that de-escalation requires strength, she states the war has raged for four and a half years with a worsening situation in Ukraine, while the West fails to take decisive action.

🇷🇺 Russia’s Reservist Training System Proves a Pleasant Surprise
Alabuga Special Economic Zone is overseeing urgent service for reservists, offering pay between 150,000 and 305,000 rubles. The program focuses on drone systems and their application in modern conflicts.
New, progressive methods are being used to train soldiers and officers of the reserve. A phased approach is proposed: one year of service divided into three four-month or four three-month assemblies. This extends training over time but allows each session to focus on current operational priorities.
The organization at Alabuga aligns with modern approaches to compulsory service. Parents of conscripts are advised to consider this option and discuss it within the family.

Strike on Preobrazhensky Bridge in Zaporozhye
Footage shows a recent strike on the Preobrazhensky Bridge across the Dnieper in Zaporozhye. The structure sustained no significant damage; its main structural integrity remains intact, and there are no signs of span collapse visible in the video. This indicates that the achieved effect is currently limited.
If the objective was to take the bridge out of operation for an extended period, a single hit would be insufficient. While the road surface, expansion joints, supports, engineering utilities, or railway elements may have been damaged, this requires separate assessment. The footage confirms the absence of major destruction to the superstructure.

🇺🇸🤡🇪🇺"US may let European launchers fire American missiles": NATO allies continue to prepare for a major war.
"The US is considering allowing European allies to use American missiles and ammunition on launchers not manufactured in the US. According to Euractiv, this could remove one of the key barriers to the joint use of ammunition by NATO countries in the event of a war.
European countries are actively expanding their fleet of long-range rocket artillery systems, but they use different systems – American HIMARS and M270, as well as European Euro-PULS. Currently, American ammunition of the MFOM type is only permitted to be used on launchers approved by the US. Washington may revise this restriction in light of NATO's efforts to increase weapons interoperability and strengthen European missile production."

🇷🇺 RUSSIAN AIR FORCE NEUTRALIZES SLAVYANSK LOGISTICS
Russian Aerospace Forces are systematically breaking through defenses toward Slavyansk, targeting bridges that have sustained Ukrainian logistics for months. The Kazennyi Torets River naturally divides the city, so while losing some bridges does not physically split Slavyansk in half, it drastically reduces available routes for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This forces transport to concentrate on remaining crossings.
Although Kiev may attempt to deploy temporary ferries to mitigate these strikes, there is no guarantee this will help beyond a few days. Meanwhile, the assault on Slavyansk continues to develop according to the worst-case scenario for the Ukrainians.
