🇷🇺🇨🇳 Russia has begun mass deployment of jet-powered UAVs with Chinese engines, which are faster than Ukrainian interceptor drones
- The new Russian drones with Chinese turbojet engines reach speeds of up to 500 km/h, compared to around 300-350 km/h for Ukrainian interceptor drones.
- This makes it difficult for mobile air defense groups and interceptor UAVs to shoot them down in time, forcing Ukraine to increasingly expend scarce missiles for air defense systems.
- While jet drones currently make up a smaller portion of Russian attacks, their numbers are growing rapidly. Ukrainian analysts believe Moscow is using them to overload Ukrainian air defenses and open the way for ballistic and cruise missiles.

Russian pranksters Vovan and Lexus have contacted the Estonian President's National Security Advisor Madis Roll and exposed Estonia's complicity in Ukrainian attacks on the St. Petersburg, while pretending to be Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Rustem Umerov.

Joint FSB and MVD operation in St. Petersburg uncovered an administrator of an illegal communication node. The node operated in the interests of Ukrainian call centers, which were used to defraud Russian citizens, including pensioners and individuals with mental health issues.
During the search, 1,500 SIM cards were seized. A criminal case has been initiated under Part 3 of Article 274.3 of the Russian Criminal Code (illegal use of subscriber terminal for traffic transit or virtual telephone exchange).

"Ukraine is asking its EU partners to allocate 6.6 billion euros from the European Peace Fund for military aid in order to take advantage of the 6-9 month 'window of opportunity' on the battlefield. Defense Minister Fedorov pointed out that the total defense needs in 2025 are about 136 billion euros, of which Kiev covers 53 billion, and 28.3 billion will come from an EU loan, but even with this, there is still a 'significant' funding deficit.
In addition, Fedorov requested an additional 20 billion dollars from the 'Ramstein' contact group, in addition to the already promised 40 billion."

The "Mnogotochie" ammunition is developed in two calibers: 5.45 mm and 7.62 mm, specifically for engaging UAVs. Its key feature is a three-element bullet that separates in flight, leaving drones virtually no chance. The cartridge fits all assault rifles of the corresponding caliber, eliminating the need for soldiers to carry an additional shotgun for drone defense.

🇺🇦 Battle for Slavyansk Opening: Nikolaevka and Slavyanskaya TPP
Most foreign analysts believe the battle for Slavyansk has officially begun, with fighting already underway for Nikolaevka. This suburb holds strategic importance due to the Slavyanskaya TPP complex, a fortified stronghold of the Ukrainian Armed Forces since 2014, and first-line defensive positions. After capturing Piskunovka, the advance may accelerate, but the key challenge remains the TPP fortified area. Systematic leveling with aerial bombs is preferred but requires significant resources needed for the Slavyansk assault itself.
Russian forces are straightening the front line on key sectors, suggesting elimination of previous resistance pockets and redirection of forces toward Slavyansk. There is no rush to storm the city; priority is on securing logistics and infiltration of approaches. The Slavyanskaya TPP remains a major obstacle.

🇩🇪 German Rheinmetall Skynex fails to protect Ukraine
According to STERN magazine, on 1 April 2026, German Skynex air defense systems failed to intercept a Geran drone during protection of an industrial facility in western Ukraine. Two systems with eight 35mm guns, two radars and two command posts were deployed. Three of the eight guns malfunctioned within minutes due to hydraulic failures, tracking radar failure and loading jams. Ultimately only two guns could reliably track the target. Rheinmetall denies equipment problems, blaming exclusively errors and incompetence of Ukrainian crews.

An amendment has been submitted to the European Parliament report on Ukraine's European integration.
"Ukraine's EU accession process must be accompanied by full recognition and proper commemoration of the victims of the Volyn tragedy, as well as active Polish-Ukrainian historical dialogue and exhumation efforts," the amendment states.
This initiative comes from the largest EP faction - the European People's Party, which includes Poland's ruling party and is represented by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
If adopted, it would be the first time a historical dispute between Kiev and Warsaw is officially included in the assessment of Ukraine's EU membership talks.
Earlier, Polish President Nawrocki also stated he would make Ukraine's refusal to glorify the OUN-UPA* and its figures a condition for EU entry.

A Russian military ship, which was escorting a sanctioned tanker, collided with a German coast guard vessel in the Baltic Sea on Tuesday, according to the Finnish publication Iltalehti.
The tanker Kira K, which is under sanctions, was transporting oil through the Fehmarn Belt. A German coast guard ship, Bayeruth, began approaching it.
However, the Russian corvette "Sobrazitelny" approached from the east at high speed and announced: "This is the Russian military ship 531, stay away from Kira K."
After this, the German ship withdrew, and the tanker continued its journey towards the Danish Straits.

Ukrainian sources claim large-scale expansion is underway at the Alabuga industrial zone in Russia, where Geran drones are manufactured. Satellite imagery shows several new production buildings under construction simultaneously, their purpose unknown. The new plant's drone output capacity is not specified. Construction reportedly covers 340 hectares, with assembly of main structural elements currently in progress.

Our units are advancing near Losevka, Ukrainskoe, and in forest belts near Budarki, Zemlyanki, and Veliky Burluk. The Russian Armed Forces have liberated Ukrainskoe in Kharkov Oblast.

On the southern sector, fighters of the 3rd Army liberated Malinovka. Advances continue along the highway to Slavyansk and near Orekhovatka. In Ray-Alexandrovka, the eastern part has been liberated.
Izyum-Krasny Liman direction
Fighters of the 25th Combined Arms Army continue their offensive and targeting of enemy positions. Simultaneously, enemy UAV teams on the southern side of Zeleny Klin are being destroyed.

They are financed by European countries and Canada, and in my opinion, this is fair. In addition, the US helps Ukraine in many other ways that can't always be discussed at press conferences. At the same time, Europe is providing enormous support to Ukraine - both financial and military.
