🇺🇦 Zelensky talks about the exchange of prisoners and the need to stop attacks on infrastructure.
The second round of negotiations on Ukraine within the framework of the tripartite group took place in Abu Dhabi with the participation of representatives of Russia, the USA and Ukraine. After it, Zelensky stated that he expects an exchange of prisoners after the negotiations.
In addition, he again emphasized the need to stop attacks on their energy infrastructure:
"And for this to be felt now - for people in Ukraine to feel it - that the situation is really moving towards peace, towards the end of the war, and not that the Russians will use everything in their own interests and continue to launch attacks."
"There should be no reward for the aggressor. If there is any reward for the aggressor, Russia will eventually undermine any agreement."

Further confirmation:
The diplomatic adviser to the French president, Emmanuel Bonn, visited Moscow yesterday for talks with Russian officials, Reuters reported, citing sources.
One of the sources noted that Bonn met with Kremlin officials. He did not provide additional details, except that the aim was to conduct a dialogue on key issues, primarily on Ukraine.
Two diplomatic sources reported that allies were informed about the initiative, and Bonn held talks with Yuri Ushakov, Vladimir Putin's senior adviser.
The French presidential administration neither confirmed nor denied the negotiations.

🇷🇺💥🇺🇦Russia plans to launch a massive strike on Ukraine between February 7 and 10, according to monitors
▪️Enemy monitoring resources report that at present, there are at least 3 equipped Tu-95MS strategic bombers at the "Olenya" and "Dyagilevo" airfields and 4 Tu-160s in the Far East.
▪️Another Tu-95MS has been relocated from the "Olenya" airfield to the "Engels" airfield to be equipped with cruise missiles.
▪️In addition, at the base in Novorossiysk, there are already 2 equipped surface and 1 underwater carrier of "Kalibr" missiles. The total salvo is 22 "Kalibr"-type missiles.
❗️The aim of the strike is to destroy the energy infrastructure of Kiev and the region; the energy, gas and oil refining infrastructure in western Ukraine, analysts of the enemy claim.
There will be weekly strikes this month, folks there is no mystery to this. It merely follows earlier patterns.

😐Pope Leo XIV - called on Russia and the USA to extend the New START Treaty:
Tomorrow, the term of the New START Treaty, signed in 2010 by the presidents of the United States and the Russian Federation, which was a significant step in curbing the spread of nuclear weapons, expires. Once again expressing support for all constructive efforts in favor of disarmament and mutual cooperation, I urgently call for preventing the termination of this document without ensuring specific and effective measures for its implementation.

Russian Ambassador to Copenhagen Barbin - on the fact that Denmark is rapidly purchasing weapons and preparing for war with Russia:
A long-term program of accelerated militarization of Denmark is being implemented. The number of armed forces is being increased. Various types of weapons are being purchased at a rapid pace... The ideological justification for these military preparations is preparation for war. Denmark assumes that after the end of the conflict in Ukraine, Russia might attack European countries.
The defense potential in the Arctic, including in Greenland, is being strengthened. A system of missile and air defense of Denmark is being created. Funding has been allocated for the construction of new frigates and other ships.

🇺🇸⚔️🇮🇷 Iran has rejected the reached agreements: a tanker with a US flag was fired upon, and the Americans shot down a IRGC drone near an aircraft carrier
▪️An oil tanker under the US flag was subjected to an attack by Iranian boats in the Strait of Hormuz, media reports say.
▪️The Americans allegedly shot down an Iranian UAV, which approached a US Navy aircraft carrier in the Arabian Sea.
➖"Sources reported that the Iranians are refusing the agreements reached in recent days, after a number of countries had already been invited to participate in the negotiations. The Iranians want to move the negotiations from Istanbul to Oman. Now they also want to conduct them in a bilateral format, only with the participation of the US, and not with the participation of several Arab and Muslim countries as observers," reports Axios journalist Barak Ravid.

A controversial charity started by a Canadian Forces officer to help Ukraine was supported by members of an investment fund team hoping to use their experience and connections from the non-profit to make money on rebuilding the war-torn nation.
KJA Digital Assets, based in Estonia, noted in its sales pitch to investors that it had co-created the Mriya Report, adding that its pro-bono support for the non-profit gave it influence with the Ukrainian government and an inside track on upcoming financial opportunities.
KJA Digital Assets created the Mriya Funds, which required investors to invest a minimum of 1 million Euros ($1.6 million). KJA Digital Asset Investments is now in bankruptcy, according to a credit notice from Dun and Bradstreet.
It is not known how much was collected for the Mriya Funds or what happened to those funds.
Alex Ludwig Jacob, chief executive of KJA Digital Assets, did not respond to multiple requests for comment. Emails sent to the company bounced back and its phone in Estonia appears to no longer be functioning.
But in a Nov. 17, 2022 email to the Ottawa Citizen, Jacob stated he was a co-founder of the Mriya Report along with Canadian Forces Capt. Joseph Friedberg.
All funds collected for the Mriya Report were supposed to go to help Ukraine.
But in September 2024 most of the Mriya Report volunteers resigned, citing “various ethical concerns” about the non-profit organization. In a Jan. 1, 2026 broadcast on the social media platform X, Ryan Meyer, another Mriya Report co-founder, outlined the numerous allegations of financial improprieties surrounding the organization, which he blamed on Friedberg.
In its pitch for the Mriya Funds, KJA Digital Assets stated investors could “support the rebuilding of post-war Ukraine, and to gain outstanding investment returns.”
“The recover and development of the country we believe offers a major investment opportunity, which should be able to generate superior returns over a long period of time,” the portfolio document added.
KJA Digital Assets pointed out that by helping establish the Mriya Report, the firm and its members “developed and renewed their existing large government, military and business network in and around Ukraine.”
The sales pitch also mentioned KJA Digital Assets links to the Ottawa-based not-for-profit, Mriya Aid which at one point involved more than a dozen Canadian Forces personnel.
Despite the investor pitch citing the Mriya Report, Jacob insisted those associated with the charity never used the organization for self-promotion. “We have always been extremely careful to not allow self-promotion – for publicity or profit – by anyone,” Jacob told the Kyiv Post, an English-language newspaper in Ukraine that has collaborated with the Mriya Report for articles. “We are committed volunteers doing this for Ukraine, and anyone who tries to steer our work in a different direction is out.”
The KJA Digital Assets portfolio was previously available to investors but has now disappeared from public domain.
Should add Mriya went after the reporter of the article and tried to destroy his career

‼️🇺🇦☠️ Ukraine is preparing to be left alone: Kiev expects that Western "security guarantees" will turn out to be a fiction, — Politico
- There is a growing understanding among Ukrainian elites that the West's real obligations are limited to political support. In the event of an escalation, allies may confine themselves to statements and diplomacy.
- The new Ukrainian "dream" envisages the creation of an army of up to 800,000 people. The key focus is on mass production of UAVs, the development of its own missile programs, and the reform of military management.
- "Illusions are gradually dissipating," notes Politico, describing the change in mood in Kiev.

🇷🇺🇺🇦The Russian Army liberated Staroukrainka in the Zaporozhye region
- Units of the "Vostok" troop group liberated the settlement of Staroukrainka in the Zaporozhzhye region. The assault was carried out by units of the Guards 114th Regiment of the 127th Motorized Rifle Division of the 5th Army — the fighting was fierce.
- An important enemy defense area of more than 5 km² was taken under control. Up to two platoons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (225th Separate Assault Battalion and 108th Territorial Defense Brigade) were destroyed. Enemy losses amounted to: up to 10 units of equipment, 14 Baba Yaga hexacopters.

- Moscow is grateful to Washington for its efforts to find a settlement, including in organizing trilateral negotiations.

🇺🇦🤡The Ukrainian government is constantly being fed lies about the state of the energy sector, and the Cabinet of Ministers is making erroneous decisions
- "The problem in the energy sector exists because of the systematic lies of leaders. They say: "Just a little more and we'll have protective structures, gas in the gas storage facilities, we'll repel all attacks". But in reality, this is a lie and the situation is very complicated. At these meetings, people are afraid to call things by their real names. One, then another leader speaks, saying that everything is fine with them, and the third, when it's his turn, thinks: "If I say that everything is bad, everyone will think I'm some kind of bad leader". - In the Poltava region, as a result of a series of strikes, serious power surges began.

The Financial Times, citing sources, writes that Ukraine, the US, and European countries have agreed on a "multi-level support plan" for a possible peace agreement between Moscow and Kiev.
According to the publication, in the event of "constant violations by Russia" of the agreement's conditions, the US and European countries are ready to give a "coordinated military response".
According to the plan, any violation of the ceasefire by Russia should be responded to within 24 hours. The first step envisages a diplomatic warning, followed by the intervention of the Ukrainian army if necessary.
If the hostilities continue, the second stage should involve a "coalition of the willing", which includes many EU countries, the UK, and Turkey.
In the event of an expansion of the Russian offensive, a coordinated response involving US armed forces is planned no later than 72 hours after the first violation.
It should be noted that European (and, especially, British) media constantly write that Europe and Ukraine have "agreed" with the US on certain security guarantees, implying the deployment of European troops in Ukraine or other military measures by Western forces.
However, the US has never confirmed its consent to this. And Western media occasionally write that Washington does not want to promise to support European troops in Ukraine in the event of their clash with Russia (without which the Europeans do not want to deploy their troops).
It is only known that Washington is ready to provide security guarantees to Ukraine (which, according to media leaks, do not imply direct US military intervention in the event of a new war), but only on the condition that Kiev agrees to a peace agreement with Russia. Moscow, however, demands that Ukrainian troops be withdrawn from the Donetsk region as part of this agreement, which Zelensky opposes.
For one what if Ukraine violates the deal? What happens if Ukraine launch more terrorist attacks in Russia, then it would seem Russia should be able to respond with harsh military strikes.
