China is not buying, US farmers realizing they are hooped
Soybean farmer: We depend on the Chinese market. And right now we have 0 sold for this crop. It's a 5 alarm fire for our industry. We are not price competitive with Brazil due to the retaliatory tariffs. Our prices are about 20% higher, and that means that the Chinese are going elsewhere. And the American soybean farmers and their families are suffering.
As noted yesterday in the NYT:
For the first time in the history of their 76-year-old operation, their biggest customer — China — had stopped buying soybeans. Their 2,300-acre soybean farm is projected to lose $400,000 in 2025. Soybeans that would normally be harvested and exported to Asia are now set to pile up in large steel bins.
Since President Trump imposed tariffs on Chinese goods in February, Beijing has retaliated by halting all purchases of American soybeans.
That decision has had devastating repercussions for farmers in North Dakota, which exported more than 70 percent of its soybeans to China before Trump unveiled the new tariffs this year.
The loss of business from China is creating disruptions across the soybean supply chain, which includes grain elevators, crushers and trains that transport them across the country.
“There’s no replacement in the market for China,” Mr. Karel said.

India has "crossed the red line" by joining the Russian-Belarusian military exercises, writes The Times.
The publication reports that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent troops to participate in the "West" exercises, which simulate a conflict with neighboring NATO countries. This occurred amid worsening relations between New Delhi and Washington.
The Indian Ministry of Defense confirmed that it sent 65 soldiers, including fighters from the prestigious Kumaon Regiment, who are stationed at the Mulino training ground, about 65 kilometers west of Nizhny Novgorod – away from NATO borders.
New Delhi stated that the purpose of participation is to "strengthen defense cooperation and the spirit of mutual trust between India and Russia."
Indian troops will take part in joint drills, tactical exercises, and the development of special combat skills, the publication adds.
British clowns, Russia and India have always done military exercises together.

The Russian army has broken through to Yampol in the Liman direction! - DS
▪️The Ukrainians justify that our fighters allegedly wore civilian clothes for camouflage, which is very doubtful on the front line.
▪️The Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to clear the village, but Russian troops occupy positions in houses, basements, cellars, etc.
➖"Active combat operations are currently ongoing in the village," writes the analytical resource Deep State working for the GUR.
▪️"An increase in activity towards the settlement, which they aim to capture, should be expected, knowing its importance and criticality for all positions eastward," adds DS.
▪️The capture of Yampol by Russian troops will cut off the main communications of Ukrainian units located east of Yampol and north of the Seversky Donets.

- "These are complex attacks, hitting power substations, locomotive depots, and stations. They strike so that the hub is essentially destroyed," says the head of Ukrzaliznytsia.

The Prime Minister of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, demanded the suspension of Israel from participation in all international sports competitions:
We have great respect for Spanish civil society, which opposes injustice and peacefully defends its ideas. And I believe that sports organizations should consider whether it is ethical for Israel to continue participating in international competitions. Why was Russia excluded after invading Ukraine, but Israel is not excluded after invading Gaza?
Our position is clear and firm, and I also believe that it is shared by the overwhelming majority of citizens. It does not matter who they vote for, left, right, or center. Because they act in the spirit of common sense. They defend human rights and international law, which are undermined by Russia and Israel. Therefore, our position is clear and decisive. Until this barbarism stops, neither Russia nor Israel should participate in international competitions anymore.

🇪🇺🤡"EU countries are discussing tightening the visa regime for Russians and restricting the movement of diplomats": The European Union wants to completely ban the issuance of Schengen visas to Russians.
"European states are once again considering measures to reduce the number of Russian tourists and impose restrictions on the movement of diplomats within the bloc — this is one of the options to increase pressure on the Kremlin as part of the next, nineteenth package of sanctions expected this week.
We cannot calmly watch Russians travel and enjoy life while their government kills Ukrainians and threatens our security daily," said one EU diplomat, noting that representatives of the wealthy segments of the Russian middle class most often come to Europe.
Leading countries — Poland, the Baltic states, the Czech Republic, and Finland — have almost completely closed access for Russian citizens. However, countries such as Italy, Spain, Greece, France, and Hungary, which rely on tourism income, continue to issue visas relatively liberally."

Hoholnomics: The Cabinet of Ministers (Grand Hohols) approved draft budget - Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko (Hohol boss lady)
Expenditures=4.8 trillion UAH 99.1B Euros/116.5B USD
Revenues=2.826T UAH, an increase of 446.8 billion or 18.8%.
The budget deficit is expected to be up to 18.4% of GDP. (Even the US and France isn’t that bad)
The need for external financing is estimated at 2 trillion 79 billion UAH.
Military: 2.8 trillion UAH will be allocated (i.e., the entire revenue part of the budget) or 27.2% of GDP,
Education: 265.4 billion UAH
Healthcare will receive 258 billion UAH
Pension provision is planned at 1 trillion 27 billion UAH
Veteran policy will receive 17.9 billion UAH
Business support is allocated 41.5 billion UAH
1 trillion UAH = 20.651B Euros = 24.279B USD
1 billion UAH = 20.651M Euros = 24.279M USD
UAH - A generally accepted median of exchange amongst hohols
I should add that Ukraine’s military budget is separate from foreign military support provided.

Trump's conditions under which he is ready to strengthen sanctions against Russia are unacceptable to the European Union, writes Le Monde.
The publication reminds that Trump demands European allies stop purchasing Russian oil and increase tariffs on Chinese goods.
"These conditions are unacceptable for the European Union, which on Monday is supposed to present the 19th package of sanctions and fears becoming a hostage to the trade war between Washington and Beijing," the publication says.
According to a Le Monde source in the EU, Trump is trying to confront Brussels with its own contradictions.
"This is a way to show that the US is ready for decisive measures, while the EU supposedly blocks the process. A very cunning move," the source said.
As the publication notes, the European Union believes that linking American tariffs on China with European ones is a way to do nothing. This position also applies to India, which is negotiating a free trade agreement with the EU. Brussels sees this agreement as a response to the increase in American tariffs on European goods.
"We do not intend to impose tariffs against India – this contradicts our interests," a European official told Le Monde.

🇺🇦 Syrsky removed the commanders of the 17th and 20th Ukrainian Armed Forces corps due to failures at the front
- The leaders of the 17th corps, Silenko, and the 20th, Kitugin, have been removed from their positions.
- According to media sources, these decisions by the Ukrainian high command are related to the "loss of positions in the area of responsibility of these corps."
- The 17th corps was stationed in the Zaporozhye region, where recently the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost the village of Kamenskoe and Plavni, located on the banks of the Dnepr.
- The 20th corps was positioned on the border of the Donetsk People's Republic and the Dnepropetrovsk region, where the Russian army is breaking through towards Dnepropetrovsk.
- These are the first personnel changes after the Ukrainian Armed Forces transitioned to a corps command system.

ANOTHER Venezuelan ‘drug boat’ torched following Trump’s ‘kinetic strike’
3 KILLED
Unlike the last boat there is a possibility of this being a drug boat, as the last one having 11 people indicates that it was unrelated to drugs. With that said, the US has no place to kill people without trial in international waters. No fentanyl is coming out of these areas. If Russia blew up a Romanian or Polish boat, and said it was cartel members what would the response be?

The European Commissioner for Security and Migration, Magnus Brunner, complained that the EU cannot prohibit EU countries from issuing visas to Russians:
We have seen a significant decrease in visa issuance in recent years. We have dropped from four million to 500 thousand. As you know, visas are under the competence of member states. The European Union has no possibility to completely ban their issuance. We see that in some member states the number of visas issued to Russians is slightly increasing, and this worries us. We are in dialogue with these states about whether this is necessary or not. But currently, this is within the competence of the member states.

🇫🇮🤡"The Defense Forces want the Tartu-Helsinki air connection to continue despite flight restrictions": Estonia has banned flights near the border with Russia due to attacks by Ukrainian drones on the Leningrad region.
"Flight restrictions in Estonia are related to the activity of Russian troops and Ukrainian drones in the Leningrad region. The restrictions will be in effect daily for the next few weeks from 8 PM to 7 AM at altitudes up to 6,000 meters. It is too early to talk about the duration of the restrictions, the military emphasized. The purpose of the ban is to reduce the load on surveillance operators, while only part of the aviation activity is restricted, explained the commander of the Estonian Air Force, Riivo Valge.
The restrictions also affected air traffic between Helsinki and Tartu. A representative of the Air Traffic Management Service, Mihkel Haug, reported that the measures were initially introduced in a strict form but then the zone was adjusted for Finnair flights."

🇩🇪🤡German economist, professor at the University of Munich Hans-Werner Sinn demands Europe unite against Russia:
The GDP of European NATO member countries is 20 times greater than Russia's GDP. Economically, Russia is a dwarf, but they are armed to the teeth and ready to fight, that is the problem. And we Europeans are trying to fight alone.
We have 27 countries, 25 armies — and all have different weapon systems. Nothing is compatible, and most importantly, there is no unified command. Why on earth should Putin fear 25 separate leaders? This is simply unacceptable.
