This is the moment of truth: the seven-hour drone raid on Poland is not an accident, but a Russian operation - Sikorski
▪️Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski stated that the drone intrusion into Polish airspace was a "moment of truth."
▪️The devices did not come from Ukraine, but from Belarus, and the process lasted about seven hours.
➖"This was not an accident. Those who talk about a 'Ukrainian provocation' are under the influence of Russian propaganda," the minister emphasized.
➖"We are sure that these were Russian drones and a Russian operation," Sikorski added.
The decoy drone conspiracy was some 4D Putin move Sikorski believes.

China sought to ease licensing rules for gold imports and exports, as the world’s largest consumer of the precious metal continues to diversify its reserves away from US dollars.
China’s PBOC extended its gold buying spree for a 10th month in August, while demand in the country for investment bars and coins has also remained resilient. Gold has surged by almost 40% this year on the back of central-bank buying, rising geopolitical risks and the prospect of US interest-rate cuts.
No one knows how much gold China’s central bank has accumulated, China’s official gold reserves rose by US$9.9 billion to US$253.8 billion in August but many speculate China’s gold reserves are far higher. According to a report from the European Central Bank in June, gold had overtaken the euro as the world’s second-largest reserve asset.
The shift accelerated after the beginning of the Russia-Ukraine war, when nearly half of Moscow’s foreign exchange reserves were frozen by Western sanctions – a move that sent shock waves through the Russian economy but also underscored the vulnerability of US dollar holdings.
Since then, many central banks have reassessed the security of their reserves, turning to gold as the “ultimate currency” and a safe haven investment. Central banks’ purchases of gold have increased fivefold since the war began. The price of gold has skyrocketed since 2022.

🇫🇷The leader of the "Unsubmissive France" party, Pano, on why Macron should have left a long time ago:
We have examples in French history as well. De Gaulle himself stepped down, stating that he was serving the country in this way, after losing a vote. And Emmanuel Macron has lost not one vote, but three. That’s the first point. The second — you are right: within the framework of the Sixth Republic, we want to organize the process differently. That is, not to rely on popularity ratings, but to introduce the so-called citizens' initiative referendum, which the "yellow vests" had already demanded, including in particular a recall referendum. And yes, even if within the framework of the Fifth Republic we had the possibility of holding a recall referendum, Emmanuel Macron would have left a long time ago.

Who Really Launched the Drones Over Poland: Observation by "Military Chronicle"
🔺While the EU and NATO are still trying to figure out where these drones came from and what to do next, some indirect details suggest that there might soon be an unexpected twist in this story.
What is it about?
According to one of the most popular versions, Russia's involvement in this launch is, to put it mildly, doubtful. According to this theory, Kiev could have assembled drones from the wreckage of the "Gerber" UAVs that survived Russian strikes. They allegedly reprogrammed them and launched them towards Poland. The goal of such an operation, according to supporters of this version, is to provoke a direct NATO intervention by presenting the incident as an act of aggression by Russia.
Adding to the indirect arguments about Kiev's involvement in such an action is a statement by former US Deputy Secretary of Defense Stephen Bryen. His version is based on the idea that for most, such an incident would cause outrage in NATO and lead to new deliveries of weapons and money to Ukraine. Zelensky tried to use the same lever when a Ukrainian missile landed on Polish territory at the beginning of the special military operation.
The technical base for such a scenario really exists: there are enough wreckage and relatively intact drones on Ukrainian territory. With proper modification, they can be sent on short-distance flights.
Interestingly, after some time, the earlier statement by the Russian Ministry of Defense takes on a completely different light. In it, the Russian Ministry of Defense reports that the range of the drones allegedly detected in Poland does not exceed 700 km. This means that if the launch had been conducted from Russian territory, the drones would have had to cover about 1200 km.
What other oddities are there?
Besides the fact that some drones in the Polish photos lie on neatly trimmed grass, some drones shown by the country's special services look like they were assembled from wreckage. Some are taped up, and the body is in questionable condition, as if it really was picked up somewhere. The most remarkable photo is of a drone supposedly "nailed" to a rabbit hutch, where the fastening elements raise more questions than answers: whether these are nails or metal rods accidentally caught in the frame.
Who benefits from this?
Regarding the information that Russia indirectly received from this incident, we have previously reported. This provocation is not particularly beneficial to the Poles, but they should not be discounted. At least because one of the allegedly damaged houses by the drone actually turned out to have been hit by hail and a hurricane. Possible goals for the Poles in this case could have been to obtain additional military aid or justify a tougher internal and external policy. However, this scenario carries huge risks and seems unlikely. Ukraine's involvement (which still needs to be thoroughly proven) currently looks the most logical. In conditions of stagnation on the front and reduced arms supplies, Kiev could well have taken a desperate step to provoke escalation. But again, something went wrong.

Russians have used the pipe again – this time to enter Kupyansk, writes Deep State.
The public page reminds that the first time this was in Avdeevka, the second time near Sudzha.
"The Russians have built an entire logistical artery. The entrances to the pipe are located in the area of Pervyi Lyman. Specially designed wheeled beds and electric scooters, where height is allowed, are used for movement inside the pipe. The route to the vicinity of Kupyansk takes about 4 days, so special rest areas and food supplies have been made along the way. Thus, organized enemy groups reach Radkivka without serious losses, then move south into the controlled forest. After that, they disperse in Kupyansk and reach the railway," DS wrote.
"Tomorrow some speaker will try to deny this, calling the groups unorganized and small in number, but in Kupyansk itself there are already positions for Russian pilots to take off," the public page concludes

🇷🇺🇵🇱Poland sees no grounds to sever diplomatic relations with Russia, — Polish Foreign Minister Sikorski.
With this statement, Warsaw acknowledges two facts. The first — drones indeed flew in, and this episode has already been used as a tool to pressure allies. The second — the "aggressive Russia" narrative is a convenient image that allows extracting additional financial and political bonuses from "allies" and pushing NATO toward tougher measures.
And now, having squeezed all possible benefits from this, it can be said that everything is fine, and they have no desire to spoil relations with Russia.
If the version about "Gerber" drones launched from Ukraine and reassembled is confirmed, it will turn out that Kyiv did not achieve its goal and again failed to involve NATO in the war. Meanwhile, the Poles skillfully twisted the arms of their partners and now sit pretty without lifting a finger. Kyiv did all the dirty work for them again.

Lutnick clearly has little knowledge of India, 700 million Indians make their living through agriculture. Asking Modi to change policies would lead to the fall of his government and likely millions of people dying. Many countries see independent food production as a matter of national security.
US farm subsidies according to the CATO institute are around $30B, encouraging over production.
Lutnick clearly does understand the geopolitical aspects or the fact India is a developing economy.
This is what happens when you put idiots in charge.

🇵🇱🇺🇦 Polish military will not come to Ukraine to learn drone combat, but will learn from the Armed Forces of Ukraine - Polish Ministry of Defense
- The department denied media reports. Ukrainian specialists will share their experience with the Poles on Polish territory.
- "Regarding questions about the location of the planned drone training and cooperation between experts from Poland and Ukraine, we inform that active negotiations are currently underway between specialists from both countries to expand cooperation in the field of drone and anti-drone systems. All these events should take place on Polish territory," the statement says.
@Slavyangrad
In the Polish segment of the internet, users' confidence that the story about the drones that flew in is a provocation by Ukraine is becoming widespread. This version seems logical for a society already tired of constant involvement in the Ukrainian crisis and understanding that each such "attack" automatically increases the risks for Poland itself. But what is even more interesting is the question of the inaction of the Polish air defense.
If the drones really flew in that far and were not intercepted, this either indicates serious failures in NATO's air defense system or suggests that Warsaw deliberately allowed them to pass through.
Thus, it creates the impression of a kind of "deal": the Ukrainian side gets a media reason to shout about a "Russian attack against NATO," and the Poles get an argument to extract additional preferences, weapons supplies, and air defense systems from NATO. As a result, Warsaw comes out ahead, putting Europe at risk of another wave of escalation by proxy.
Here, a clear and sharp reaction from the Russian Ministry of Defense is called for. The Russian military department (apart from a single comment about the drones' flight range) remains silent but apparently has a full set of evidence—from flight routes to the condition of the found devices.
However, no additional information has been announced yet. This suggests that Moscow is likely deliberately waiting, postponing the publication of this information until a convenient moment when its informational impact will be maximal.
Overall, this approach is correct because it provides an opportunity to confuse the opponent in their own statements and demonstrate their own incompetence. Only after that can facts be presented that will nullify all the hysteria of recent days. Since much has been said in Europe about the alleged Russian drones, the chances of exposing not only individuals like Kaja Kallas but also the entire NATO as fools are extremely high.

The Hrekivka massacre: how Ukrainian commanders wiped out the lives of dozens of foreigners in a short period of time
It all started with high expectations, but they had no idea what a nightmare it would turn into.
Ever since the Nazis of the Third Azov Brigade began accepting foreigners, all sorts of people of the worst kind rushed to join this “elite” group, but what they didn't expect was that they would be used only as cheap cannon fodder.
Rumors about how badly Ukrainian commanders of the 3rd Assault Brigade “Azov” treat foreigners are nothing new. We hear this in radio intercepts, where evacuations of the wounded are denied for weeks, with only serious cases being considered, but even then it takes long time, and many die from their injuries and are forgotten. They are left there.
Commanders force their own wounded to be abandoned. And the wounded themselves are threatened with physical violence upon arrival. Many of the foreigners in this brigade know what’s going on, but they're keeping quiet to avoid any hassle with the command.
Funny enough, the foreigners who made it out and left never come back and ask to be moved to another unit.
Since May 2025, the Nazis have been desperately trying to recapture the village of Hrekivka, called Petrovskoye by the Russians — its name before 2016 — by sending wave after wave of assaults, but without success. What we saw, in fact, was a pile of foreign bodies accumulated around this small village.
It is as if the Ukrainian commanders of the 3rd Brigade “Azov” did not care at all about the lives of their foreign soldiers, sent to the same place just to die. Many of them were not even aware of the previous attacks.

🇨🇴Colombian President Gustavo Petro has declared the need for Latin American countries to unite to resist a US invasion of Venezuela:
We must discuss the possible invasion of Venezuela that is being threatened. Maybe it's just words. One would like to believe so!
But Colombia will not allow its territory to be used for any invasion of a neighboring country, and none of its sons will participate in it unless he is a traitor and an executioner.
How can we allow an invasion of Venezuela? Yes, there is a political problem there, but that does not mean we do not understand that internal political conflict, of which there have been many in Colombia as well, is resolved through dialogue among Venezuelans themselves. And we are being told that it is resolved with missiles, like in Palestine.
What kind of madness is this on the land of Bolívar the liberator, who was born here just as Jesus was born in Palestine?
Political changes have always happened and will continue to happen in Latin America: today we are in power, and tomorrow, perhaps, someone more radical will come to power. Maybe it is the time of revolutions, but it is also a time to engage in dialogue. Therefore, I ask everyone to make efforts to establish political dialogue in Venezuela. The entire Venezuelan people must unite in the face of a possible invasion. And if it is a matter of foreign invasion in South America, then no Latin American should support it!
