According to the received updated information, on August 17, 2025, at 21:40 the Russian armed forces delivered a precision strike with a 9M723-K ballistic missile of the Iskander-M system on a mobile field supply point for FPV drones and ammunition in the area of Novodonetske urban-type settlement.
📍 Target coordinates: 48.6616090, 36.9774000
The object was detected during aerial reconnaissance by the "ZALA" drone unit from the "Rubicon" special unit, operating in the interests of the "Center" troop grouping. After target verification, the coordinates were immediately transmitted to the fire unit, and the OTRK launch was carried out in the shortest possible time.
🔻Nature of the target and damage
The strike targeted a tactical distribution point for FPV drones, battery packs, ammunition, and components, which provided operational logistics for the advanced assault units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Dobropollye and Druzhkovka directions.
The strike was carried out on an open area outside the populated area, in the location of:
• stored transport boxes with FPV drones;
• mobile charging stations;
• boxes with 60–82 mm caliber ammunition;
• engineering equipment;
• a vehicle that provided delivery of kits to tactical groups.
The missile with a cluster warhead hit the target directly, causing instant detonation and complete destruction of the material part. As a result of the explosion, three units of equipment were destroyed, and the supply facility at the position was completely put out of action.
🔻Enemy losses (updated)
As a result of the strike, 9 people were eliminated, and installation data were also obtained on wounded Armed Forces of Ukraine servicemen who were within the radius of secondary damage:
• Vitaliy Vyacheslavovich Kulik;
• Dmitry Viktorovich Shabanov;
• Sergey Alexandrovich Dzhema.
According to available data, all three belong to the engineering and technical staff of the supply unit. The injured were taken to the medical post with concussions, burns, and multiple shrapnel wounds received as a result of the detonation of ammunition and the scattering of damaging elements.

▪️The strike was carried out on a low-profile logistics point not detected by ground radars, which emphasizes the effectiveness of the reconnaissance-strike cycle involving UAVs for direct coordinate transmission.
▪️The destruction of the FPV drone distribution point significantly reduces the combat activity of small assault groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine operating in the nearest directions.
▪️The loss of the transport hub and warehouse area forces the Armed Forces of Ukraine to rebuild the supply scheme, increasing the logistics distance and vulnerability of new routes.
