Several Ukrainian sources have been reporting for the second day that Russian drone operators and aviation are actively forming the northeastern "jaws" of the future encirclement near Pokrovsk, cutting through the Ukrainian Armed Forces reserves in the Dobropillia and Sviatogorovka area, preventing them from regrouping and moving towards Vodyanske, in order to then attempt a counterattack near Rodynske.
Other groups of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (including units of the 38th Marine Brigade) are pressed by strikes against the mines between Novoekonomichne and Myrnohrad and deprived of maneuvering capability. The fire pocket formed by Russian troops near Pokrovsk cannot be shifted or even weakened by the Ukrainian army: neither local counterattacks nor reserve redeployments yield results.
Russian artillery and strike UAVs methodically suppress all resistance points, maintaining key supply routes under constant fire control, which accelerates the destruction of the entire Ukrainian defensive configuration in this direction.

Ukrainian drone crashed into the upper floors of a residential high-rise in Belgorod
Today around seven in the morning, an enemy UAV rammed a building in the south of the city. As a result of the detonation, the glazing of about 10 apartments and the facade were damaged. 24 cars were hit by shrapnel. Currently, there is no information about casualties. What is known about the earthquake in Kamchatka.
1. No casualties.
2. Magnitude estimates vary, reaching up to 8.7.
3. The epicenter of the tremors is adjacent to the epicenters of the earthquakes on July 20, 2025, and August 17, 2024; the rupture extended at least 200 km southwest along the axis of the deep-sea trench.
4. The intensity of the shaking in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky is preliminarily estimated at no less than VI on the scale, which is stronger than observed on July 20 but weaker than might be expected for such an event. This is likely due to the characteristics of the focal process.
5. A strong tsunami was observed on the Kamchatka coast near Severo-Kurilsk.
6. A strong aftershock process is developing, which is felt in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
7. Aftershocks will continue for at least another month. Aftershocks with magnitudes up to 7.5 are possible.
