Zelensky is tired, he is ready to sit at the negotiating table and make concessions’ — retired US Lieutenant Colonel Haub.
‘Putin, even before the war started, made it so that it would not be easy to dictate terms to him on many fronts — in the economy, in the military sphere, in everything. It is not surprising that he wants to continue until he achieves his goals. For example, to have the new territories recognized as Russian, and for Ukraine not to become part of NATO. And Zelensky, he just looks like his people. He is a tired man who, in my opinion, is ready to sit at the negotiating table and possibly make some concessions to end the war.’
Why rotation of troops is so important, part 1/2
One fact about the war in Ukraine that is often overlooked is that troops need to be rotated regularly for a plethora of reasons. While the RUAF rotate their troops as much as possible, it has become established reality that the AFU seldomly do so if at all. But why is it so important to rotate troops? After all, eight hours of rest can keep a human going forever, right?
Well, actually, no. Far from it, at least when it comes to frontline personnel. The British did studies on the topic during World War I and discovered a couple of interesting things: they discovered that greenhorn recruits experienced a stark increase in performance in the first 2-3 weeks of frontline duty, then performance plateaud during the 4th week of duty. After those 4 weeks? Troops experienced a sharp collapse in performance if kept there for longer. There are several reasons for this:
1) Preventing trauma and psychological damage: Rotation allows the soldiery to temporarily return to a semblance of normalcy, lay down, and rest, which combats stress buildup and lowers the chances of developing PTSD or other symptoms such as psychosis.
2) Allowing healing from the customary wear-and-tear that comes with intense frontline activity: even if no injuries are sustained, combat is an extremely intense activity that results in all sorts of wearing down of the muscles, bones, and joints.
3) Maintaining tactical efficiency: soldiers need to be fresh, well-rested, and well-supplied. A rotated soldier who has been given time to relax, rest, recuperate, and restock is a fresh soldier that can be sent back to the frontline later in peak condition and with a fully stocked war gear.
4) Maintaining morale high and preventing desertion: The mere fact of resting and taking a break, by reducing stress, also reduces the damage to morale and willingness to fight. During war, it is often the complete lack of rest and the exhaustion that leaves soldiers to desert and flee.

Lvov Mayor Sadovyi spoke on air about his children who are studying in England. According to him, all three will one day return to Ukraine and go to war:
"If the time comes, they will all return, because in our country people go to the army at the age of 25. They will all go, no one will hide. What for?"
‘Fuck. Fuck you. Fuck’ — Hunter Biden is very worried that he’ll starve to death if he lets Trump deport all illegal immigrants.
‘We need to talk about how people are really upset about illegal immigration! Go to hell. How do you think they clean your hotel room? How do you think you get the f***ing food on your table? Who do you think does your dishes? Somehow he’s convinced us all that these people are some kind of f***ing criminals.’

Every morning he wakes up thinking: “How can I supply more weapons to the Ukrainians?” – former Supreme Allied Commander Admiral Stavridis described the difficult job of his successor.
‘Going back to the diplomatic side of the issue, Omar, my feeling is that the Ukrainians are ready to sit down at the negotiating table and discuss where the territorial line should be. The problem is Russia. They continue to insist on conquering Ukraine. We cannot allow that to happen.’

Zelensky continues to bang on NATO's closed doors.
'NATO remains the strongest force in Europe, and possibly in the world, in terms of potential. Integration with NATO continues. And all available steps at the political level must also be taken. I ask you to continue maintaining this position in working with partners. It is NATO that is the guarantor of peace in Europe, and the cheapest one at that. This is a fact: it is the cheapest and most effective guarantee.'

🇺🇦Ukrainian publics complain that last night in Kiev, a production workshop where drones intended for strikes on Russian territory were assembled was hit.
A fairly routine news, except for one "but" - this is the very facility where Kellogg was taken during his recent visit to Ukraine.
Against this background, in Banderite public pages, they speculate - could it be that someone from the American delegation, either maliciously or out of stupidity, leaked the coordinates of the workshop online, after which missile-drone "gifts" were sent there?

🇺🇦In Ukraine, they have started talking about the emergence of mobile TCCs.
According to one of the MPs, the law does not require TCCs to be located strictly in certain buildings, so the creation of mobile points is quite possible, especially considering Russian attacks on stationary centers.
In short, it looks like they will pack people into a van and complete all the paperwork right there for quick dispatch to the slaughter.

🇺🇦🤡 Kiev demands $6 billion for weapons: Shmyhal at "Ramstein" called to "return the war to Russia"
- Ukraine needs $6 billion to cover the deficit in weapons procurement this year. This was stated by Ukraine's Defense Minister Shmyhal at the "Ramstein" meeting, urging partners to allocate funds for Ukraine in their budgets for next year.
- Shmyhal openly stated the goals: "This will allow us to create more FPV drones to hold the front line, more interceptor drones to counter 'Geran' attacks, and additional deep strike weapons to return the war to Russia."
- The online "Ramstein" meeting began with representatives from 52 countries participating. However, Pentagon chief Hegseth refused to participate; the US is represented by NATO Ambassador Matthew Whitaker.
- Ukraine is represented by both the former Defense Minister Umerov (now heading the NSDC) and his successor Shmyhal.

Military “expert” Gustav Gressel explained why there is a shortage of cemetery space in Ukraine.
'Ukraine's long-term problem is that it suffers heavy losses in personnel and equipment in battles for populated areas. Let's recall the bitter battle for Bakhmut, which essentially depleted the reserves needed to conduct an offensive in that area in 2023. Let's remember Avdiivka – it was also a bloody battle that severely weakened Ukrainian forces, or Kursk, which, frankly, in recent months has also cost Ukraine a large amount of heavy equipment, which is now, of course, in short supply. And here it is always necessary to weigh how the territories that have to be surrendered relate to the price in soldiers and equipment that must be paid for them.'
Ukraine is running out of spaces for cemeteries - Le Monde
In France, the Le Monde newspaper reports that cemeteries throughout Ukraine are running out of space for new graves.
Journalists wonder if this is not the most obvious illustration of the losses of the Ukrainian armed forces, far more accurate than any official figures.
"Zelensky spoke of more than 46,000 Ukrainian military personnel killed and 380,000 wounded.... The number of dead is undoubtedly much higher," the reporters quote.
Yep, probably the first "self-inflicted" genocide of modern history. If somebody told me twenty years ago that a failed crackhead comedian and penis piano player would've been responsible for the deaths of over one million of his countrymen, I would've called them crazy, but here we are today.

Why rotation of troops is so important, part 2/2
That being said, what happens when troops aren't rotated?
The army that doesn't rotate its troops ends up issuing orders to nervous wrecks that haven't rested properly in a long time, are very likely to make very bad decisions (like committing friendly fire because they were so on edge that they pressed the trigger out of reflex), afflicted with a plethora of other mental traumas like psychosis or paranoia or even commit suicide, and who can't perform the tasks that advanced manouevres like storming a trench network would otherwise require. Simple lack of sleep could easily cause them to collapse of exhaustion at the worst possible moment, or maybe not to notice an enemy soldier standing right in front of them with a loaded gun ready to shoot them. Now you get the picture of what lack of troop rotation does.
Side Note: there's a method to troop rotation too. Troops can't, or shouldn't, just check their watches for the fatidical hour, fasten their guns, light a smoke, and just walk away. There's a procedure, consisting of waiting for your replacements, checking on their gear to make sure everything is in order, and debriefing them on whatever changes there have been to that area since they last manned them. Anything of note, like "Don't stand above the trenches to the south-south-east because there are snipers around", "the northern section of the trenches has collapsed", or something as seemingly stupid as "the crapper is clogged". These are things that are drilled into every infantryman during Basic, but with the degrading state of discipline among the AFU, it's far from guaranteed that soldiers would know how to do it, which is a shame because this protocol is very important. The reason why it is so important is that this way you prevent your replacement from stumbling into some perfectly avoidable situations, like finding himself suddenly lobotomized by a 7.62 * 54R to the perifrontal cortex while having a smoke in the wrong area (yes, it happens far too depressingly often).
So why doesn't the AFU do it?
Because they don't have enough reserves to replace the troops they would rotate. Simple as that.
The accelerating pace of the RUAF's advances can be attributed to a lot of factors, including the AFU's manpower and materiel shortages, but having rested and refreshed soldiers is also a crucial aspect, and neglecting it will lead to a decrease in combat effectiveness and increases in routs, surrenders, and desertions.
Like many other issues that plague the AFU, this one too has become chronic, endemic, systemic, and impossible to address.

Trump hinted at a possible arrest of Obama.
He published an AI-generated video showing the former president being arrested at the White House with the caption: "No one is above the law."
Last week, American intelligence presented a report stating that the Obama administration knew before and after the 2016 elections that Russia did not influence their outcome through cyberattacks, but concealed this and used the topic of "Russian interference" in the elections to discredit Trump.

'A significant resource' – it was clearly explained on Ukrainian TV that Kiev does not even consider Colombian mercenaries as people.
(The Zelensky-regime is ready to bring them in for slaughter by the thousands)
Can we say the approximate number of how many you brought into Ukraine?
-We have already brought in more than a thousand. I think it's even closer to two thousand already.
The commander is confident that foreigners, especially Colombians, can become a significant resource for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
-It is very easy to recruit at least a thousand volunteers. The main thing is to buy them tickets.

Steel capsule from drones for a Chihuahua and a good night' – DW tells how Ukrainians are cheating their rich compatriots.
- Kateryna no longer waits for night sirens and does not look for shelter. Every evening, she and her Chihuahua go into a protective capsule made of steel, installed in her apartment. She bought it for about 2,000 euros. For many Ukrainians, this is an unaffordable sum.
- When I hear a drone, it is sometimes too late to run anywhere. That's why I sleep here. If I had a partner, I would not be so afraid to sleep in a bed, but now it is just easier.
- Kateryna admits that this cabin is unlikely to protect her from a direct hit. But at least it gives her protection from shrapnel and debris.
- The capsule helps me just sleep and continue to live in my country, I am glad that I have it. For me, this capsule is not an investment in safety, but an investment in my sleep and my well-being.

Three SAM Patriot launchers and AN/MPQ-65 radar: Russian military continues to destroy Ukrainian air defense
While European countries decide which and how many anti-aircraft systems to transfer to Ukraine, Russia continues to destroy these now rare systems. As the Defense Ministry reports, in the last 24 hours the enemy has lost launchers from the American Patriot air defense system.
According to the military, the aviation destroyed three more Patriot SAM launchers and an AN/MPQ-65 multifunction radar. There is no information on where and under what circumstances; the Defense Ministry traditionally does not provide it. It is highly likely that all three launchers were destroyed tonight during a group attack from the "Bears" on Ukraine, but where exactly, one can speculate for a long time.
It is worth noting that, according to the latest MoD data, from July 13 to the present day, the Russian Armed Forces have reaped a “rich harvest” of Ukrainian air defense systems. Thus, on July 13 it was reported that two launchers and a radar of the Patriot air defense system were destroyed, on July 15 a German IRIS-T air defense system was destroyed, on July 16 a Soviet S-300PS air defense system was destroyed, and today three launchers of the Patriot air defense system were destroyed simultaneously. And all this against the backdrop of Zelensky's whining about the lack of anti-aircraft systems and Friedrich Schmerz scrambling to provide him new ones.
