*No country was willing to offer guarantees, it was given assurances. No one was willing to fight a war for Ukraine, which is still true to this day. A memorandum is not a legally binding document and creates no legal obligations thus it can never offer guarantees. If you want guarantees then you would sign a treaty.

A Soviet nuclear warhead's "general permitted lifespan of our nuclear warheads is 12 years." It was estimated the Soviet nuclear warheads were produced "5-8 years" prior to 1994. Nuclear weapons must be maintained and this requires specialized knowledge, equipment, and facilities.

The length of service of nuclear warheads is determined by two basic natural processes: the decay of plutonium 239, its partial transformation into americium 243 (in the process of transformation into a stable isotope 244) and the half-life decay of tritium (half-life of 12.5 years).

Americium is a strongly radioactive element, which complicates the service personnel’s work with the warhead. For this reason after a certain period of time, the warhead is sent to be disassembled to separate americium from plutonium. If this procedure is not done in a timely manner, then after 12-15 years (from the moment when the warhead was manufactured) any work with the warhead would present a difficult technological problem because of the strong radioactivity of the warhead—since the work with the warheads cannot be done in a completely automated fashion (unmanned).

Ukraine for example also had no ability to produce Tritium:

Tritium (the radioactive isotope of hydrogen) serves as a catalyst of the firing process during the explosion of the warhead. Due to its half-life term, it has to be replaced in 12 years. When the warhead is filled with an excess amount of tritium, (as it is done with the American warheads), some extension of the service term is possible, but not more than to 15 years.

Therefore, the general permitted lifespan of our nuclear warheads is 12 years. When they remain in operation beyond the identified term of service, they become especially dangerous for the environment.

Even the much wealthier UK can't maintain nuclear weapons anymore, they rely on the Americans.

Trump is considering sending Ukraine an additional Patriot air defense system, two U.S. officials told the Wall Street Journal.

According to one of them, the White House has asked the Pentagon for options on additional weapons, including Patriot systems. The possibility of other countries providing such systems is also being explored.

According to a former Pentagon official, the U.S. has given Ukraine three Patriot systems, Germany has given Ukraine three more, and a consortium of European countries has sent one. However, not all of these systems are operational at the same time due to maintenance issues.

Give? Sell maybe.

Brigitte continues to sort out her family relations with Macron in public.

Today, the reason was that Macron tugged her hand twice, preventing her from stopping to take a joint photo on Downing Street before meeting Starmer.

The remark followed immediately. And, judging by the expression on Macron's face, not the most pleasant.

One thing for sure, is another man is involved.

CNN has published an audio recording from 2024 in which Donald Trump, at a meeting with his campaign donors, recounts his conversations with Putin and Xi Jinping.

They included direct threats of bombing if Russia invaded Ukraine and China invaded Taiwan.

“I told Putin, ‘If you go into Ukraine, I will bomb the hell out of Moscow. I’m telling you, I won’t have a choice.’ And he was like, ‘I don’t believe you.’ He said, ‘No way.’ And I said, ‘Oh yeah.’ He said, ‘I don’t believe you.’ But the truth is, he believed me… well, 10%. I told you, he believed me 10%.’

“Then I met with Xi from China. And I told him the same thing: ‘If you attack Taiwan, I will bomb the hell out of Beijing.’ He thought I was crazy. He asked, “Beijing?” I replied, “I have no choice, I’ll have to bomb you. We’ll bomb Beijing.” He didn’t believe it either, but he did believe it about 10 percent. And 10 percent is all that’s needed. Frankly, 5 percent would have been enough.”

Things that never happened for $1,000 Alex.

"Rubicon" is gaining superiority on land and in the air

▪️The strike drones of the "Rubicon" special center destroy target after target every day. Among the catch of the drone operators:

🔹 armored and automotive vehicles,

🔹 elements of communication systems,

🔹 multifunctional UAVs "DeltaQuad Pro" and "Furia",

🔹 reconnaissance UAVs "Gor", "Leleka", "Mara", "FlyEye",

🔹 reconnaissance and strike UAVs "Domakha",

🔹 kamikaze drones "Vector" and "Darts",

🔹 artillery spotter "H10 Poseidon" and more.

Credit to Belusov for putting Rubicon together, and I hope this is a development going on across the Russian military.

If Ukraine had not given up its nuclear weapons, it would not exist as a country' says IAEA Director Grossi.

..in 1991, Ukraine had the 3rd largest nuclear arsenal in the world. Three years later, it gave it up in exchange for territorial integrity *guarantees from Russia, the US and UK, as stipulated by the Budapest Memorandum. However, these guarantees proved ineffective. Did Kiev make a mistake by giving up its nuclear weapons?

This is false information. An agreement was already in effect between the US, Europe and Russia, according to which the Soviet nuclear arsenal was to come under Russian control. Therefore, Ukraine could not exist as an independent state if it had not recognized this. The international community would not have allowed this. It is also important to remember that Ukraine did not have operational control over these weapons. They were in Moscow. The Ukrainians may have been able to steal nuclear material from these missiles, but they could not have used it for combat

Former Prime Minister Kubilius of Lithuania 🤡

What to do with Russia? So far, we have mostly shifted this task to the Americans: from time to time they have declared Russia a "new axis of evil" or suggested a "reset" of relations. We usually followed their example. As a result, we got an increasingly aggressive Russia.

Russia remains the last empire of the European continent, whose disintegration began in the 1990s and must be continued today.

Russia must be defeated and dismembered:
First, because Putin does not want peace.
Secondly, because his aggressiveness will only increase.
We have to ask: who will lead Europe to Pax Europea?

It is time for Ursula von der Leyen, Friedrich Merz, Emmanuel Macron, Keir Starmer, Giorgi Meloni and Donald Tusk to show genuine collective leadership and finally resolve the Russian issue!

"There is no infantry." Desertion rates in Ukraine remain high, writes Ukrainian military veteran and journalist Volodymyr Boyko.

In the first half of this year, 107,672 new criminal cases were registered. This is 16-20,000 criminal cases per month.

Since the beginning of the Russian invasion, there have been only 230,804 such criminal cases. That is, officially, the cases opened this year account for more than 46% of the total volume of cases.

At the same time, no one is looking for deserters.

Deserters are no longer excluded from the lists of personnel of military units, which creates the illusion of their “staffing”.

“As a result, today the Armed Forces of Ukraine have no infantry. At all. "The infantry is either on the run, or in hospitals, or in the cemetery," writes Boyko.

According to his calculations, "there are actually 30 to 50 thousand servicemen on the line of combat contact on the Ukrainian side, mostly UAV operators. The consequences of this are easily predictable."
