🇮🇷🇮🇱A series of explosions in the center of Tel Aviv and Herzliya
- Powerful explosions rocked Tel Aviv and Herzliya. Local media reported multiple hits - according to preliminary data, an 8-story building collapsed.
- Iranian sources also claim that the strike was carried out on the logistics center of AMAN, the military intelligence directorate of the General Staff of the Israel Defense Forces.
- There is no official information about casualties yet, but the nature of the destruction indicates a targeted and prepared strike on key IDF infrastructure.
- At the same time, Israeli Ambassador to the United States Yechiel Leiter said that Israel had prepared a new, more complex operation against Iran than blowing up the pagers of Hezbollah members.

ISRAELI AIR DEFENSE ON THIN ICE
It's easy to miss the fact that Iran just launched a missile strike on Tel Aviv in broad daylight and all missiles (five, by most accounts) got through. This marks a watershed moment in this conflict for two reasons: an attack has been launched during the day, and zero interceptions on missiles raining on the capital having been recorded.
Combined with the growing rate of interception failures we saw yesterday night, this means that Israeli interceptor stocks are running low, which forces them to use older stocks and triage the targets to protect.
This is not, however, a reason to celebrate. This situation means that not only Israel is incapable of fighting this war alone, but also that if this continues, Iran will have free rein to level Israel to the ground.
If the interceptors are running low, you can bet that the voices screaming into Trump's ears for war with Iran will soon become impossible to drown out. Perhaps they already have.
This is why the Grahams, Blumenthals, and the rest of the ziocon lobby, alongside Israeli politicians, are itching for the USA to go to war against Iran. Unless big mommy USA rushes in soon to kiss the bruises that the Iranian meanies have dealt to Israel, those bruises risk becoming deep cuts and stab wounds.
Trump's latest actions and posts lend credence to the suspicion that the decision has indeed already been made.

Trump said he left the G7 summit in Canada early not to work on a ceasefire in the Middle East. At the same time, he sharply criticized Macron.
“Publicity-hungry French President Emmanuel Macron has falsely claimed that I left the G7 summit in Canada to return to Washington to work on a ‘ceasefire’ between Israel and Iran. Not true! He has no idea why I am heading to Washington now, but it is certainly not about a ceasefire. This is much more serious. Intentional or not, Emmanuel always gets it wrong. Stay tuned!”
China Develops Satellite Capable of Recognizing Faces from Orbit
Chinese scientists have unveiled a satellite with a unique remote sensing system, Synthetic Aperture Lidar (SAL) , capable of capturing images with unprecedented detail. According to published data, the device can recognize human facial features from a distance of more than 100 km, raising concerns about international security and privacy.
SAL uses laser pulses in the optical range, which provides much sharper images than traditional radar systems. The technology was tested over Qinghai Lake in NW China, where the device detected objects smaller than 2mm
According to experts, the new development is capable of significantly changing the global landscape of satellite surveillance, enhancing the capabilities of technical reconnaissance and monitoring the orbital activity of other countries.
Amid growing technological competition between China and the US, the need for international regulation of such systems is being discussed.

Brussels is trying to overcome Hungary and Slovakia's veto on the ban on imports of Russian oil, Semafor reports.
According to the publication, the European Commission will propose banning new contracts for the supply of Russian gas, citing trade legislation instead of the usual sanctions - in order to circumvent a potential veto from Hungary and Slovakia, which continue to import Russian gas.
The ban will force most companies to terminate short-term agreements with Russia by 2026 and long-term agreements by 2028.
The move follows the European Commission's publication last month of a roadmap to phase out imports of Russian oil and gas by 2027.
At the same time, European Commissioner for Energy Dan Jorgensen stated that the European Commission will not compensate EU countries for refusing Russian gas.

On June 16, the "North" group of troops destroyed the enemy's forward and assault units in the Tyotkinsky and Glushkovsky directions, and continued to create a security zone in the Sumy region.
Even the Ukrainian nationalists ' understanding of the futility of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' attempts to break through deep into Russian territory in the Tyotkinsky and Glushkovsky directions did not force Syrsky to abandon the idea of capturing a few square meters in the Kursk region. The enemy continues to send its assault groups to slaughter, which are destroyed by the Severyans in the area of the state border and on Ukrainian territory.
▪️ Once again, neo-Nazis of the "Aidar" ( 24th separate battalion ) tried to infiltrate our territory twice from the outskirts of Ryzhevka through forests. As a result of the shooting battles, most of the occupiers were destroyed, the rest fled in the opposite direction.
▪️ Around midday, the assault group of the 158th separate mechanized brigade tried to break through to the Kursk region from Bessalovka . Our paratroopers repelled the enemy attack, destroying the occupiers during a firefight.
▪️ A group of occupiers from the 225th separate regiment also moved out from Iskriskovshchina at noon and was destroyed by our FPV operators.
▪️ Also during the day, another assault group of the 47th separate mechanized brigade tried to break through from Pavlovka to the village of Novy Put . As a result of the complex fire strike, most of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were destroyed, the rest fled in the opposite direction.
In the Tyotkinsky and Glushkovsky directions , 4 units of enemy equipment were destroyed in 24 hours.
In the Sumy direction , despite the enemy’s transfer of reserves, the Northerners continue successful offensive operations, advancing deep into Ukrainian territory.
▪️ Our marines, in stubborn battles, advanced over 350 meters through border forests.
▪️ Northern Airborne Forces units continue to clear forest belts in the Sumy region and are advancing in Yunakovka with stubborn fighting.
▪️ Fearless motorized riflemen are waging fierce battles in Novonikolaevka , advancing deeper into the settlement.
▪️ Over the course of the day, the enemy launched five unsuccessful counterattacks: three in the Andreyevka area, one each in the vicinity of Alekseyevka and Yunakovka.
In just five counterattacks, the enemy used over 30 men, half of whom were destroyed, the rest fled in the opposite direction.
▪️In one day, North engineering units discovered and defused 7,713 explosive objects.
▪️ An analysis of obituaries and publications of Ukrainian "volunteers" showed that the enemy transferred units of the 48th separate battalion , the 87th battalion of the 106th separate brigade of the Territorial Army (Kamenets-Podolsky, Khmelnytsky region), as well as the 8th special forces regiment to the Sumy direction .
In the Volchansk and Liptsy directions, as a result of fire damage, three assault groups of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, mortar crews and UAV launch sites were destroyed.
Over the course of 24 hours, the enemy suffered over 160 casualties (including over 80 in the Sumy and over 40 in the Tyotkinsky directions). Also discovered and destroyed:
On the Tyotkinsky and Glushkovsky directions:
▪️howitzer "D-30";
▪️four pickups;

The quiet desperation of Macron’s Greenland visit - The Spectator
Macron is incapable of addressing France’s issues, so instead he visits far-flung corners of the earth where locals will clap, wave flags and afford him a warmth that he has long since lost in his homeland.
As Macron flew to Greenland a Sunday newspaper published an opinion poll that revealed his approval rating is at 21 per cent, a point above the record low of 2018, the year of the Yellow Vest crisis.
The same poll found that the most popular politician is Bruno Retailleau, the straight-talking Interior Minister. Retailleau regularly talks about the ‘Mexicanisation’ of France, and the ‘barbarians’ who make the lives of the majority a misery. Macron, on the other hand, believes that there is nothing much wrong with France.
Macron is also out of step with his country when it comes to the environment.
Macron ignores anxieties about these issues. He remains the president of the rich, feted in Greenland but loathed in France.
