According to an IRGC commander, "Kheibar missiles will be launched soon and the world will be shocked by what they see".
About the Kheibar: not much is known about Iran's latest ballistic missile, apart that it has a range of up to 2000 kms, a payload capacity of at least a ton, and it is named after a town in which the Prophet Mohammad fought against Jewish tribes.

According to pro-Iranian sources, Iran's Air Defense systems were temporarily disabled after an immense campaign of electronic jamming and cyber attacks, without mentioning Israel's own Operation Spiderweb that launched drones from within Iranian territory.
This initial element of surprise gave the israelis the element of total surprise during the opening of the conflict.
However, air defense technicians have apparently finished bringing the Air Defense back online, which is why Iranian AD batteries are now much more active in the interception of incoming missiles, and even scoring a few israeli jet kills.

Fire continues in Tel Aviv's financial district
According to Turkish media, Iran targeted several objects:
— Tel Aviv Financial District;
— IDF Headquarters;
— Ministry of Economy;
- Tel Nof Air Base;
— Air defense locations in the Haifa area.
— Gas platform off the coast of Gaza.
Israeli authorities have not acknowledged any hits to any of the targets.
However, footage distributed by pro-Iranian channels allegedly shows that same financial district engulfed in flames.
Emergency services reported 35 confirmed casualties.

Full statement by the IRGC on Operation True Promise-3:
'In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Following the initial announcement regarding the successful implementation of Operation True Promise-3 against the strategic positions of the Zionist regime, we hereby inform the honorable people of Iran and the free people of the world of the details of this operation.
In this operation, the missile and drone units of the IRGC Aerospace Force, using a combination of pinpoint and intelligent systems, targeted military centers and air bases that were the origin of the criminal attack against our country, as well as military industrial centers that are used in the production of missiles and other military equipment and weapons to commit crimes against the resistance nations of the region, especially the oppressed people of Palestine and Gaza. We targeted these locations along with other military targets deep in the occupied territories.
Field reports, satellite images and intelligence intercepts indicate that dozens of ballistic missiles effectively hit strategic targets. Despite claiming to intercept, the enemy failed to fully counter the waves of missile attacks by the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Operation True Promise-3, in response to the command of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution and the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and the demands of the noble people of Iran, is part of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s response to the shedding of innocent blood in our nation.
This operation was carried out in coordination with all the armed forces and agencies of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in an authoritative and aggressive manner, and its main message is that the security of the Islamic Republic of Iran is the red line of the armed forces.'

There were also some fake victories - some Iranian accounts presented footage of Kalibr missile launches at Zhitomir in March 2022 as current Iranian Navy strikes on Israel.

It seems it's over for tonight. IDF gave civilians permission to leave shelters but to stay close.
If something happens, we will inform you.
Thank you for being with us.

Brave people of Iran! Your light will defeat the darkness. The people of Israel are with you! Personally, I am with you!
We are not fighting with you. We respect and love you. We are fighting with the Islamic regime that has held you in captivity for half a century. It threatens us and we intend to eliminate this threat. And along the way, we will do a good service to our beloved people of Iran. After all, their oppressors are now weaker than ever. We have only just begun to deal with them, it will be more fun, and they will not even understand where and what will fly at them. So, people of Iran, here is your chance to regain your freedom. Hooray!
The Ayatollah seems seething. Not that we're blaming him. Does it mean that the gloves are finally off for real?

HOW DOES IRAN RESPOND?
One of the most important areas in Iran's military doctrine is ballistic missiles. The advantages of this type of missile have long been known - the shortest flight time and the greatest problems for the receiving side, since it is more difficult to intercept.
Therefore, the Islamic Republic has a wide variety of these missiles, which is especially good when no treaties interfere.
To reach targets in Israel, which is more than 1000 km away, two-stage medium-range ballistic missiles (MRBMs) are used.
What could be used:
Shahab-3 - a missile based on the Soviet R-17, has a range of1000 to 2000 km, with a warhead of up to one ton. It has been in service since the 2000s.
Ghadr-110 - a similar two-stage missile, a further development of the Shahab and has the same characteristics, but with a declared improved accuracy and a different warhead. It was used by the Houthis and was intercepted by the Israeli missile defence system.
Emad is a missile introduced in 2015 and equipped with a detachable warhead with an improved guidance system and a declared CEP of no more than 50 meters. The declared range is still up to ~1700 km and a warhead of about 750 kg.
Sejil is a solid-fuel missile that is a replacement for the liquid-fueled Shahabs, which is presumably an indigenous development, and not a development of Soviet or Chinese projects.
The detailed characteristics of each are poorly known, since in principle few countries disclose them, and it is also worth considering that, for example, the same Shahabs are a "family" of missiles, where each modification is different.
In addition, there are also hypersonic Fattehs, about which little is known, except that they were already used to strike Israel last year
@Slavyangrad
But... there is no official confirmation yet.
In theory, Iran is close enough to being able to assemble a bomb for testing.
But there is still a certain path from the creation of the first charge to a standard warhead. Unless someone has given Iran the necessary technology for the last step. Hypersonic with a nuclear warhead could fundamentally change the rules of the game.
